As I often do, I researched the menu before visiting. Their menu happened only be available on DoorDash, where I noticed some nice BOGO specials on the tacos. However, when I arrived, those weren't on the menu and the counter person said I could only get the deals through DoorDash. Fully embracing the kafkaesque vibe, I ordered from the app while standing in the restaurant. Cheesy Classic Quesadilla: Very basic. Like something you might make at home with minimum ingredients. Flour tortilla, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo. I'm fine with simple, but they didn't even crisp this. It was just lightly melted on the gridle. Loaded Nachos w/ Pulled Pork: These were pretty substantial. Lots of toppings and lots of carnitas. Shrimp Taco: One of the BOGO specials. Tiny shrimp, but packed with full shrimp flavor and nice spices. Fish Taco: The other BOGO special. The menu description said "Crispy battered fish", but it wasn't battered at all. More like a seasoned filet. Not that exciting, since it wasn't deep fried. Steak Taco: Usually my MVP for tacos. Didn't disappoint with nice steak cubes that had sufficient grill marks. Chicken Taco: Lots of flavor for chicken, so was surprisingly good. Better than the fish for sure! Burrito Duo: This was decent. Chunks of steak cubes and shrimp. Burrito was kinda loose and messy. Better than Chipotle, but quite as good as other local burritos. read more

Uffff this was bad on so many levels. Ordered fish tacos after confirming these were battered and fried. They were not! It was like a fishy-smelling grilled fish. Not good at all. Chips were an unnatural color yellow and became soggy a few minutes after they arrived. Not sure how that is possible. Like... just regular chips! Weird. Salsas were not spicy, guacamole came from a factory. Cashier didn't know any of the food, was not very pleasant, and was not very fast. It honestly didn't even seem like he knew he worked at a Mexican restaurant. The cook, who was Mexican, was the only positive thing about Broadway Tacos. He provided us great service. Location is pretty good. The ambiance is ok. Tables are sticky and gross. It does have a bathroom and free water self-serve. If I was making a list of "The worst Mexican restaurants in San Francisco," Broadway Tacos and Grill would be at the very top. I'm so mad we spent our money there. And I'm sure especially mad because I organized all my friends to come here before going to Monroe and it really sucked. Do not go there even if it's close to where you are going. read more

Imagine this- A Sunday afternoon, with a hangover fading from a fun night out with friends. A simple quest, a nice burrito to ease the pain. We weren't looking the best burrito, but something to smile about would've been nice. We stumbled upon a catastrophe of an attempt at a burrito. My meal arrived and the first bite I took was a chunk of cold cheese straight from a strange and terrible mozzarella blend. The "monkey sauce" was a weird attempt at a Caesar salad that was a disgrace, it ruined my second bite. The chicken had a strange rock hard staleness to it as if it had been sitting out since Friday. After waiting for so many weeks for this place to open in my neighborhood of North Beach, Broadway Taco & Grill finally opened for business last Wednesday. With great excitement and anticipation, I walked in here for the very first time last Saturday afternoon to try out their food. I ordered the Garden Wrap (Veggie Burrito). I was so surprised at how huge it was when it was delivered to my table. I was also delighted to see that the tortilla (wrap) was grilled and that the ingredients included sliced sautéed onions and bell peppers. I already knew the owner Rajat because he also operates the nearby Columbus Burger, which has great burgers. I wanted my friend to try out this place as well, so I came back here later for dinner with her. My friend ordered the Veggie Quesadilla, which was very huge. She really liked it and said it was the best Veggie Quesadilla that she had ever eaten. I really liked the Shrimp Taco I ordered because of the very delicious grilled shrimp. I decided to come back here for dinner last night to try their Cluck Wrap (Chicken Burrito). It was huge and just delicious. I plan to come here again to try their other dishes, such as the Fish Taco and Grilled Chicken Quesadilla. I hope this place does well because it is great new addition to my neighborhood. read more

Trust me y'all for Late night Tacos to die for! Service is excellent and the Food is Even Better!!

A very mediocre taco place. I ordered one of each, steak, chicken, and fish and all had the same overly charcoaled or burned taste to them. The fish was watery (not battered) and very thin fish. The salsas were nothing to rave about and the bag of chips was not full. Just meh all around. I wish people would realize that if you're going to charge people for food for a living, it has to be good. not bs. read more

Ordered a shrimp and steak burrito today (5/12/26) around 5PM.. What I got was a rock. The tortilla and steak were rock hard. This was clearly made around lunch time and just reheated. Also asked for jalapeno to be placed in this burrito and to my surprise there was no jalapeno to be found. This let's me know that I was given a burrito that was made earlier that day. It's a shame that these small businesses really try to take the short cut to ripping you off. I'll be filing a chargeback with my bank to get my money back from this place, as they won't pick up their phone. read more

I began ordering from here on DoorDash. The food is really good. For veggie folks who don't eat meat it's a great deal budget wise and their cheese quesadilla isn't just cheese. They put other stuff in it that makes it really tasty. I like to get it with some guacamole to dip in. Also the veggie burrito is gigantic and split it with a friend of mine. Probably going to keep coming back. I hope they stick around. read more

Stayed at the hotel close by and the prices are very good 10 bucks for a burrito and 4 dollars for fries god portions mind you ate halve it before I decided to write this review will definitely be coming back read more

Okay. Most places closed at 9pm. I was starving and up for a walk. Searched yelp and found this place. I had a shrimp, carne Asada and chicken tacos. The spices and flavors jumped in my mouth. The Chef was from Nepal whose Tacos were amazing and very filling. The Ambiance was cool and with a liquor store next door. The beer went well with the tacos. read more

Just DoorDashed this place. Ordered 2 chicken quesadillas and chicken nachos. Nachos were great, chicken quesadillas said it was grilled chicken and cheese so got those for my kids. Both came full of sour cream, pico and onions which is beyond disappointing because that is not even listed anywhere, or else I would've ordered it plain. Very upset with this. The shrimp taco was very good. The steak taco caused me to spit out half the meat it was that bad. To be fair many places are using lower quality beef due to high costs.
