the best way to describe these tacos would be to call them "spiritually israeli". my stomach is in knots and i couldn't even finish them. what kind of a taqueria serves this quality of tacos???? shameful. service was fine, no issues there, ambiance was also fine. please reconsider how the tacos are made these were literally some of the worst i've ever eaten in my entire life and they made me sick

This place is severely underrated. The food was delicious and very authentic, I was surprised the place was almost empty at dinner time! (It was a Monday but still) But that meant we got really great service and could hear each other speak so win win. Can wait to go back!

Best PANUCHOS in SF! The beef epanñadas are very tastey as well. Well worth the trip to the TL.

Euro 24 quarter final game between Portugal and France was playing of course!

Back on skid row to try another place for the first time. Was feeling like Menudo (Mexican Tripe soup) and didn't want to trudge down to my favorite places in the Mission so I decided to try Los Yucatecos on Ellis at Larkin. First, Menudo is not on the printed menu. It's a Fri + weekend special. I give it a solid 4/5 for the menudo itself. Comes with the usual lime wedges, some cilantro and tortillas. The accompanying corn tortillas are hand made when you order them and were soft, fresh and just better than most other places. 5/5 for the great tortillas. For added heat they have a home made habanero sauce. Be warned it is very flavorful but also VERY spicy. A teaspoon will make a bowl of Menudo an 11/10 on most folks' heat scale. But no doubt a 5/5 for the killer home made habanero hot sauce. They have Agua Frescas in Tamarind, Hibiscus and Horchata flavors. I'm glad I went with the light and refreshing Jamaica/Hibiscus given how much of the hot sauce I added to my soup. 4/5 for the Agua Fresca. And closed out with their Flan. The sweetness was just right but it was a tad bit on the dense / thicker side for my taste. 4/5 for the Flan. Service is great. Sat at the bar which was a little odd because there is no room under the bar top so I had to lean over to eat. But solid overall and a great find. Will be back for the regional Yucatán items like Cochinita Pibil and Relleno Negro. Just a note .. if you come here for tacos the only meat options are Cochinita (roasted, marinated pork), Carnitas (Grilled pork) and Chicken (shredded)... and that's typical for a Yucatán place.

Came to this place for the first time. I love it the food was fresh. We order the chicken. Panuchos they were great the tortilla was crunchy the vegetables were good. We got one chicken Tamal and we also got one Chicken empanadas. The tamal was not bad or good it tasted like a regular tamal nothing exciting. The empanada was really good well seasoned and it had nice toppings. Overall I will be coming back to this place again.

Not really surprising that it was empty and not many reviews. But a huge fan of this place. Food felt really authentic - none of that "creative" upscale food. Just good authentic honest mom and pop Yucatán food.

One panucho Two panucho three panucho More... This place is great. What a great addition to the neighborhood. I had one each of the panuchos and wanted more.. each panucho was packed with meat and fresh veggies yet very different in flavors and taste.. Now that I have the full menu to review. I will be back to try the other Yucatán delights on their menu..

Awesome unique food and presentation. Regretfully it's like they forgot about us once we finished up and went to the cashier after waiting for a check to arrive, but never did. Will be back for food, and hopefully better service to try other tasty options we saw but didn't get this time around.

We walked in and were welcomed by this nice lady. We had a few questions about the menu since we were not familiar with some items and she answered all our questions. We decided to try the panuchos and the empanada. They did not disappoint. Both were delicious and packed with so much flavor. We were not very hungry at the time, so this was more like a late snack for us. We will be back with an empty stomach and order more panuchos and try other things on the menu.

The restaurant is located right outside 24th St Mission BART station, and there is almost always a line out the door. Goes by fast though! There are additional benches outside in a small courtyard, so don't be deterred by the narrow space inside. A small detail I liked was the sink was outside the bathroom so I didn't have to wait in the bathroom line just to wash my hands :P I truly underestimated how much they will stuff in one taco ($4.75) and one super burrito ($11.25). Like truly, oh my gosh. I was full off two tacos, to give you some perspective. I saved my other two tacos and burrito to share with my parents, and all 3 of us were full. Off 2 tacos and 1 burrito!! Amazing. So much bang for your buck! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the meat options, but I can personally vouch for the tripas (intestine), cabeza (beef head), lengua (beef tongue), and al pastor (marinated pork). The tacos come with hot salsa inside of them, so I would order them without it if you don't like spicy. I also loved the two hot sauces it came with to pour over! My cousin, a food snob, raved about their super quesadilla ($11.25) so I'll have to try that next :)

A few people were already in there eating, and we know this place is good, as a few others in our group and I have been here multiple times. The Taqueria is typical of any other, with bench-style chairs for folks to sit on, a water station, and workers cooking it up in the kitchen. I wasn't too hungry, so I grabbed a Super Lengua Taco, while my friends grabbed burritos, we ended up grabbing 3 complimentary chips and guac/salsa with our order and the food came out pretty quickly. When I saw my Taco I forgot how much they stuffed it and wow, two of these would've filled me up just like a taco; there was so much Lengua that it kept falling off after every bite. The flavors all came together and I scruffed down the whole thing after about 6+ bites! Definitely a place to come to if you're looking for a full meal, or something to snack on!

Normally that's when I question my patience... but when a line is wrapped around the building before lunch even starts you know something serious is happening. Spoiler: it was worth it. We ordered the carne asada tacos and the asada burrito. The tacos were packed with flavor and loaded up. I had a hard time holding my one taco and gracefully eating it. I thought the tacos were good then I tried the asada burrito... I only had a few bites and it stole the show for me. I'm still thinking about it, which feels a little dramatic but honestly, that burrito earned the attention. It was that good. Every staff member I interacted with was also incredibly kind. They managed the flow of people well and I didn't feel rushed at all while dining in. Overall 10/10. The hype is real it. The line is long, but it moves and the food absolutely delivers.

I got a super burritos toasted with carne asada. One was spicy and the other was not spicy. It was labeled as spicy but they both had the exact spice level? I'm not sure if they forgot to put hot sauce or if it just isn't too spicy. Either way wish they had spicier hot sauces available either in packets or at the tables since the green salsa isn't too hot. These burritos were very delicious. I loved how you get an option to toast them or not. Because there is no rice, it makes the burrito easy to eat and you dont feel too sick after which is problem I come across burritos often.
