I am pretty sure most of the items that were previously taken off are back. I went immediately for the Southwest egg rolls. My Dad ordered the corned beef hash, and one of my boys had steak taco's. Not sure if that is new or not. He said he really liked them. I can't wait to get a steak salad again. I didn't get it today because I already had my heart set on the sweet chili wings, to go along with my egg rolls. The layout of the menu looks clean, and great. I snapped some pics, they were not the best as I had my 4 year old Grandson reaching across me every few seconds for his Dad across the table. Thank you Barger Grill for bringing the favorites back. We will be coming back more. The service as always is always great.

This is the first restaurant I have been at in Eugene that serves a proper patty melt. They use a wonderful marble rye bread with a good melted cheese on a good hamburger patty. I was most impressed with actual caramelized onions ( I have tried a lot of patty melts in Eugene and Barger Grill is the only place that had proper caramelized onions). This is a good place to watch sports games or just to get together with friends. Staff is friendly and professional, and make you feel at home.

So we stood outside this random door for about a minute while he knocked again, and I finally said, "Babe, can we just come back tomorrow and say hi to the janitor then?" I had absolutely zero idea it was a speakeasy. When they opened the door I was shocked! This speakeasy is such a fun find in Eugene. It is super moody and dark inside in the best way, and the atmosphere feels very hidden and intentional. We tried a bunch of the small plates and every single one was delicious. I loved my cocktail, and I believe I ordered the Bee's Knees. It was so good. Overall, this place is a great experience. I would totally come back the next time I am in Eugene.

The hotel is adorable, even featuring a little art center. The speakeasy entrance is a unique experience - you walk down a hallway to a "Janitor" door, flip a switch to announce yourself, and then provide the password you received via text before your reservation tieme. While the ambiance wasn't quite what I expected (it could have been cozier), the service was top-notch and the drinks were fantastic. My Aviation and my husband's Old Fashioned was really good.

The Prairie Schooner Tavern has a very down to earth feel, as you walk in you walk right into the main seating area on the ground level, you will also find a few slot machines and the bar top. The building has an elevated seating area in an L shape that overlooks the lower seating area, at one time the main floor was a dance floor. The walls are covered with amazing retro pictures, you are taken back to the 70's including the wood grain walls. We were greeted right away, by a very friendly staff member, we sat in his usual spot. They have a huge menu to choose from, you will find many burgers, sandwiches, broasted chicken, pork, steaks and seafood. If your in the mood for breakfast they have some great choices. We ordered the Smokey meat, bacon cheeseburger and steak fries. A great tasting patty, perfectly cooked, with lots of pickles and lettuce, the steak fries are huge and amazing. My father in law had the chicken strip basket with a salad, the strips were huge as well as a nice size salad. We enjoyed the food so much we returned for breakfast the next day. I ordered the bacon, two eggs, hashbrown and two huge pancakes. I only had one pancake, I took the other one home. The price of the food was very reasonable. It may not look like much from the outside of the tavern but, its a diamond in the ruff.

With that meal you will experience actual satisfaction and contentment. That's the first thing I have to say in case you're reading for a recommendation of what to order. Even better if you have it late night after experiencing the best Handel's Messiah concert at the Hult in December. I had a small slider of corned beef along with his amazing fresh Kale salad garnish with shaved Parmesan, walnuts, added protein -- sausage. It came with a toasted slice of soda bread that was great. But the slider was how I realized the corned beef was PERFECTLY prepared. A taste was not enough; I decided to get the dinner plate version to take the next day up to Seattle with me. Fantastic staff included Barkeep Illyia, whose birthday it was. She kept up a steady stream of attentive care, skillful service, friendly banter with each of the clients that came in and said good by to them as they left. Hospitality was her middle name. Love that they have mugs for the regulars hanging from the ceilings, the bar space is great but so are the arm chairs and cushioned seats in the corners of the pub. I even ran into two other concertgoers who had also been so energized after the Messiah concert that they didn't want to go home. We spent a half hour at the bar unpacking the highs and best points of the performance by the Eugene Symphony Orchestra, and the symphony choir, and each of the soloists. We also unanimously agreed the tenor was fantastic, the baritone a paragon of artistic talent, the soprano sang incandescently, and that the final AMEN movement was soul healing and mind blowing simultaneously. Yeah. It was that good. This place was the right place to come to unpack it all over a Guinness and the best corned beef and cabbage in town. Love that it was open late enough to enjoy after the concert. Will be back.

All in all, i definitely recommend the pint pot!

We searched near the airport for a spot and we luckily found this hidden gem! It is located in the corner of a lot with a number of other businesses so you may miss it at first, but it's worth finding it! The layout is spacious with a bunch of different picnic tables and seats at the bar. They have a video game set-up as well as board games/cards available to enjoy along with your beer and whatever big game is on the TV. They also had a great selection of beer on tap and a bunch of different options in cans available for purchase. On top of all that, the two owners were incredibly welcoming and made us feel like regulars despite us being a couple of out-of-towners just stopping by. If we lived in the area, we would definitely stop by often but we will just have to make it a regular stop next time we are in Eugene!

I didn't really…read moreremember it, but I wanted to check it out again as I don't live too terribly far away and I wanted to take my wife out for St. Patrick's Day. We went around 7:50pm. It wasn't super busy. The area around the bar was full, a couple booths had people, and maybe two of the tables had people. My wife and I saw two open booths, but one of them had dishes that needed to be cleared, so we took the other one. It was sticky, sadly. It is possible they had just cleared it before we arrived, but who knows. There were two female bartenders. It took about 5 minutes before anyone said hello. I had already gone up and gotten us menus. When someone did stop by, she didn't know the specials. We had looked them up, but had a question she didn't know the answer to. She left to look it up. She came back 4 or 5 minutes later amd by them we were able to bring up the specials on our phone (reception is bad there). We were able to place our orders. Ambiance is fine, but looks more dive bar-ish than the photos on their site. Photos show a lot more light in the room than it has. Food was okay.Took about 20 or so minutes. I got a burger. Ketchup there isn't very good, but burger was cooked well. My wife got cheese quesasillia. We make them at home in a fraction of the time. My wife did get the special drink that came in a special cup that we took home for St. Patty's Day. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience. There wasn't anything compelling to bring me back, either. The drink my wife got was fine (she enjoyed the plastic take-home cup). Food was so-so. Really, there just isn't anything that sets Shooter's apart from anyplace else. The ambiance isn't special nor particularly inviting, food is basic for the price they charge, and the service is... serviceable, but nothing stellar. If someone suggested to go back, I would go, but I'd lower my expectations as it is rather run of the mill in my opinion.

Totally Eugene: everyone was super friendly and kind. Really nice that the owner came through to say hello and welcome us; nice personal touch. Must mention... the tables could've been cleaner. Some were a bit sticky and needed some wiping. The Biggest downside was accessibility/ stairs; They're really steep getting up to the second floor. Also, the smokers area appears to be on this same stairway (yikes) I had to charge through the heavy smoke. With that being said. These stairs actually meant a couple friends/veterans; one on crutches and one in a wheelchair could not come up and join us. That really bummed us out. Would be wonderful, if they could figure out the accessibility thing someday, even just a ramp. And of course the obvious of taking out the smokers area on this stairwell (perhaps remove the butt cans & sign to stop this ) ?? Just a suggestion..... This place appears to have reliable food and priced fairly; (I will be back for that prime Rib)! The only downside., No desserts offered. It got me thinking.. I really appreciate how many Eugene restaurants source desserts from local bakeries. It's such a great way to support the community (major morale booster!). Would love to see this spot jump on that bandwagon." If you're into gambling video games, it's a neat little tucked away spot; Huge plus: FREE parking in their shared lot! Seriously, after dealing with parking fees everywhere else downtown this summer, that was a major win for us. Also, FREE cover; charge m, with these trying times this was an extremely pleasant surprise. Overall? Solid spot for music and hanging out, if stairs aren't a problem for your crew. Worth keeping on the list! P.s., Gals, Clean Restrooms!!!! Keep up the good work!!

I was honestly shocked that it was so empty on a Sunday afternoon because this spot deserves to be packed. It's the perfect place to enjoy a drink, hang out, and grab some really delicious food. The nachos were SO GOOD--we nearly polished off the entire plate without even trying. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the potato soup were both incredibly comforting, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving. One of the sweetest touches was when we asked the owner if she had any cards, and she actually loaned us a deck of UNO to play while we hung out.
