My husband and I wanted to trade in our fully loaded 2013 Murano for a Honda Pilot touring. The atmosphere coming into the establishment was "What do you want" instead of "How may I help you". Shawn Mirchandani sales manager and Nanci Edmondson sales associate for Bronx Honda both participated in ripping me off while purchasing a brand new 2018 Honda Accord . I reported it to Laurell Fittanto who is the customer service manager and the owners daughter. She said she would check into it and get back to me. Laurell Fittanto was contacted by the Honda Corporation and the Better Business Bureau on my behalf but she NEVER returned my call. She refused to speak with me after patronizing her families business . The money that was stolen from me stayed in her families bank account. The Better Business Bureau reports that Bronx Honda has 17 complaints against them that they refuse to answer. They are NOT accredited and their grade is an F . I had to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau , Honda Corporation and the Attorney General's Office. It appears a good amount of complaints are coming from minorities . My question to Bronx Honda is would I have gotten ripped off if I were a white customer ? If none of this works just remember the great equalizer Karma is alive and well . If you shop at Bronx Honda for a new or used car you are taking a major risk of being ripped off . This plea below from the manager is BS . Laurell Fittanto is Not going to return stolen money because it's fuel for her lifestyle. If she really wanted to talk she would have contacted me long ago . This happened in March of 2018 . This place is absolutely ridiculous. Absolute liars. On the phone I asked for price including all fees excluding dmv and taxes. I was quoted a price by the sales person and the sales manager. We drove over an hour to the dealership and when we got there the price all of a sudden became obsolete. They wanted to charge an additional doc fee of $300. Clearly it was not what was discussed. The so called store manager was even worse. He said, " I am not going to go through he said she said with you. " just dont bother with this place. read more

Not honest dealer. Scheduled for Odyssey SE lease special today in mid May 2017. $237/month with$1069 due. Great deal. There were 3 vans in stock before I attended the appointment. After waiting for a while, the sales person said that they sold out all their SE model. Because Honda doesn't make2017 Odyssey any more, the lease special is no longer valid. I said there were 3 before I came, but was told that they were so popular that they were all sold. I saw that they still have several Odyssey in their parking lot but was not going to argue with them but left. I think the lease special was just a scam. This dealer is not honest. read more

Went to the dealership around the beginning of Feb, my sales rep was Leon and Leon seem like a really good guy that will work with you on finding a great deal for leasing a car on the surface. However, I felt like he took advantage of how much I didn't know about leasing cars etc. I feel like once he knew I wanted drive off the lott with a car that's when he took full advantage. Leon ran my credit then offered to lease the 2016 Honda for 430 a month which was way to high, then after some negotiating we agreed on 340 a month which at the time I thought it was just out of my budget but told Leon OK I can pay that. Then I went to the financial rep office it was a totally different story, the finance rep says oh antoine your credit rating is not that good so this is the best we can do for you, the best is 390 a month. Which I was the idiot for signing and not looking over the lease agreement. I'm pretty sure Leon and the finance guy was highing each other. The next day when I relise what had happened they said oh it's too late sorry. Now that I'm more knowledgeable about leasing etc etc I know for a fact I've been rip off big time. Read over my lease agreement and Leon has me on a lease agreement for 39 months and 10k miles a year. How can these people ripped people off then sleep at night knowing you just ripping off customers over several thousand of dollars, how??? I want to prevent anyone from doing a deal like this. Was warned of their 'bait and switch' approach. So called Betsy, the voice of Bronx Honda, ahead and asked if car available. Was told yes, spent $30 on Uber, and arrived 30 mins later. YOU WOULD NEVER BELIEVE IT, they had sold the car in that 30 mins. It was also not even on the lot, so how efficient are these guys, amazing work, OR the cynic could say the car never existed and they just baited me, adding to their reputation (1.5 on yelp remembering there is no option to vote 0) of being a little under handed, but that's your choice to make.... read more

worst place i have ever gone to get a car, i walked in to inquire about pricing for a car, they told me the price i was like ok sounds good, after i put down a $4200.00 down payment for the car purchase insurance and they hand me the keys, as i was about to get into my new car the guy runs over to me and says my boss needs to speak with you, i go into the office and the guy says i need you to sign here, i read what i was about to sign and they tried to change the monthly payment on me from $320 a month to $390, which is unheard of for a leased honda with such a big down payment. the funny thing is the excuse they tried to give me that my credit was too low, i told him my credit is 780 what do you mean my credit is too low, he pulls out a paper showing me a credit score of 650, i ran a credit check the following day and it stated my credit was 775 with all three credit bureaus. these people are snakes, stay away the worst car dealers in new york read more

Unethical sales practice form Bronx Honda Dealership. This is the worst car dealership that I have been to. I was looking to buy a pre certified used car so I performed my research online and I came across a Honda Accord for a good price in the Bronx Honda inventory. I went down to the dealership with my auto finance already secured through my bank (one of the top financial institution in the country). When I got there, I attempted to get even a better deal for the car but that didn't work out in my favor; nonetheless, I was willing to purchase the car for the online price. Throughout the negotiations with the sales person and the manager, they attempted to get me to do my auto financing through them, although they knew they couldn't offer me a better interest rate than the rate I already secured, so I dismissed their offer each time they brought it up. They also said - if I finance through them and I don't like the rate, I could always refinance with my bank and get the same rate my bank is currently offering. Why would I want to go through such a hassle?! And there is no guarantee that I would get the same refinance rate as my current rate. I also ignored that ridiculous statement and informed them that I am just going to go with the financing that I already secured for a low rate. I presented them with the bank draft issued for my financing and the manger immediately tried to dismiss the payment. He said the pre-approved check might take 5 days to clear and that I wouldn't be able to take the car off the lot today. I informed him that the check includes the contact information for the loan department which he can call and verify that the check was certified and approved for the car purchase, but he had no interest in confirming the check. The manager then informed me that Bronx Honda policy for purchasing a car with a financed check - is to make the customer sign a contract stating that if for some reason the check doesn't clear that they can use the customer's provided information to apply for a new financing (without the customer being present). Which basically means that the customer will have a contract to agree to any financing with any rate that their loan department offers. This is so wrong! I believe this Honda dealership tried to lock me into a contract with them at any rate they would determine. I told them that can't agree to such a contract and began to leave the dealership, but I asked them another question before leaving - if for some reason the check doesn't clear would I be given an opportunity to come up with another form of payment/financing on my own before you use my information to apply for new financing through your company and they said no. Unfortunately, I can't remember the manager's name and he is not on their website at this time but he is white male that appears to be in his 50s or 60s and he has an accent (European maybe). I purchased a 2016 Honda HRV from Bronx Honda 2541 E. Tremont Avenue Bx, N.Y. The dealer financed my car through American Honda Finance Corporation. I paid the HRV off in approximately 16/17 months ahead of time. Shortly after that I received a letter from American Honda Finance Corporation, dated May 8, 2017. The letter as soon as the payment cleared my account would be considered paid in full. I sent a Bank Check and to this date I have not received a new title with the lien removed. I sent a letter to American Honda Finance Corporation on September 26, 2017. To this date (1/26/18) I have not received a response from Honda. I also wrote to Bronx Honda on Tremont Avenue asking if I am due any refund or any other premiums (I sent a copy of the letter from American Honda Finance Corporation). No response again, this is my second Honda that I have owned. What is going on with Honda? My son has also had problems with Bronx Honda. read more

Went to this dealer for help canceling a GAP insurance contract. The folks at Honda Care told me I could do this at any Honda dealer. I was told at this dealer that I could not even after I told them what the Honda Care person told me. When I called Honda Care back they asked for the dealers fax number and faxed me the form right then and there. That's all it was, fill out a form and send it. The salesman gave me this whole line about how I needed to go to the dealer I got the car from because he would not be able to access my information there at his dealership. Just flat out lied. ive been coming to Bronx Honda for about ten years and always I get great customer service and this time Wilson was one of the best sales men I ever experienced with he was very kind helpful and great customer service, by far with my car I came in to trade in my 2013 Honda accord for a 2016 and it turned out exactly what I expected. I purchased a vehicle form this dealership about 6 years ago and my experience with them was so good that I decided to come back to purchase another vehicle July/2017. However, the experience I had this time was completely different from my first. My salesman was very rude and unprofessional and seemed as if he had no intrest on trying to sell a vehicle. He refused to give me the answers I had ask regarding what programs and incentives they offered on financing a new vehicle. He said he would not tell me anything until he ran my credit history which I refused to do at that time because I didn't want my credit ran until I was absolutely sure I was getting a vehicle. I explained to him that I had excellent credit between 760-800 and I was in the process of buying a home and any credit inquiry would affect my score. He still refused to to tell me anything on the deals they had unless I would give authorization to pull my credit. He told me that I could go to another dealership and have a nice day. I dont know what his reasons were for being so nasty, maybe he was having a bad day. Regardless of whatever his reason, that still doesn't excuse his discourteous, impolite behavior towards a customer. After reading other reviews on this dealership I realize that it wasn't just me who had issues with their customer service. As a few other reviews stated, they definitely seem to have no respect for female clientele and are very chauvinistic. I leased a 2014 Civic from Bronx Honda almost three years ago and it was the most pleasant car transaction I ever experienced. I got a fair deal and the salesman, Alex, was absolutely accommodating and terrific during the entire process. Now that my lease is almost over, my first thought was to lease another Honda from Bronx Honda and why not? If the first experience was so excellent, then why shouldn't the second one be as well? I figured that I'd get great customer service and a great price. I went in to discuss leasing a 2016 CR-V LX AWD with Peter, who quoted a price of $2000 down and $219/mo for a 15,000-mile 36-month lease. He would even have Bronx Honda take my old car and finish the last five payments. This is what was said to me in plain English and I even wrote the details down. I returned a few days later, ready to put down the $2,000, leave my old car, and drive off with the new one as quoted. When I finally sat down with Peter to discuss the numbers, he told me that in order to get the $219/mo lease, I'd have to put down $3,800 not $2,000 as originally quoted. He then told me that if I put down $2,000, the lease would be $299/mo. Basically, he back pedaled and gave me different numbers than what he previously quoted. He claimed that the extra charges were "taxes" and "dealer fees", which were fees that were NOT charged to me by Alex during my first lease transaction. He went down to $247/mo, claiming that the CR-V LX is a "huge upgrade" over my current Civic and that I "should expect to pay more", which I found to be an extremely disrespectful thing to say to a customer and a repeat one, no less. Of course, I walked out. I am absolutely disgusted by Bronx Honda. How are you going to try to shaft a repeat customer and misquote a price? The person I dealt with the second time around was extremely dishonest and knows zero about retaining customer loyalty. I will never purchase another vehicle from Bronx Honda and I will personally see to it that I will let everyone I know who is a Honda owner or wants to become one to avoid Bronx Honda. read more
