Bagels are fresh. My favorite is the Whole-wheat Everything, my hubby loves the Garlic bagel! We always order Breakfast Specials. The Bacon-Bacon-Bacon is plentiful and Crispy!! :D Hubby always likes to get his homefries ON his garlic bagel- and they manage- and he says they're really good! The coffee station is setup for you to help yourself. I'm rather particular about my getting coffee out, but I don't believe I've ever disliked theirs. I go to Bagel Boy in Brooklyn fairly often whenever visiting family in Brooklyn, and Brooklyn Bagel is better by far imho, and Bagel Boy is legendary in that town- the same town where Saturday Night Fever takes place! Bklyn Bagel STILL holding the 5-Star spot for me! They're always helpful and willing to accommodate, especially if you call ahead! For NY the bagels are a 1/5. Doughy but not good doughy just taste like round bread. Not crispy like bagels should be, and texture was not good. Unfortunately the bagel store just down the road/across 25A is also not good. read more

Brooklyn Bagels! Haven't been there in a while, so I went in the other day for coffee and bagel and I forgot how delicious the bagels are. The bagels have a good flavor and not doughy, a little different than other bagel stores. Very good! And so is the Cawffee Enjoy!! read more

I have used Brooklyn Bagels three different ways. First, personally I have purchased my own butter bagel and coffee. Next, I used Brooklyn Bagel to cater my courtroom staff with a giant breakfast bagel overflowing with eggs, bacon, cheese; and an assortment of fresh muffins, hash-browns and trimmings. Third, I purchase a dozen bagels each month to bring to my monthly classroom. I have never received anything less than fresh, soft, tasty bagels. The people I treat to the bagels have nothing but compliments. The party bagel is always a big hit. Soft and tasteful, the staff always asks when I will get another one for them. I own the shaggy dog next door to Brooklyn bagels , I know.marie.the owner and most of her employees very well. Let me say first they are always cleaning, the place is so sanitary. To me Is #1 in a food Establishment. I know the employees who make the bagels all night, and they are sooo good in the morning!! My kids love Starbucks, and they say that their.ice coffee here at BB is better then Starbucks! My son texts.me at work and asks me, mom can you bring me home a Ice coffee.and big cookie from BB when you come home from work please. Your average run of the mill bagel place right in the center of Rocky Point. They have a pretty decent selection of bagels and sandwiches. Bagels are OK, nothing to write home about. Home fries lacked any flavor, and the staff seemed overwhelmed when there were only a few people in there. It seemed somewhat chaotic for there only being 4-5 guests and 3 staff members. read more

The most unprofessional and racist Bagel shop. DEFINITELY WONT RECOMMEND! Ordered a BEC on a bagel and a rainbow bagel with cream cheese. Lady wrote order down and grabbed the rainbow bagel for me and the bagel for the BEC. She refused to put the rainbow cream cheese bagel in the bag for me!! If I could have gotten away with 0 stars I would have. I walked in for a sandwich. I was greeted by a woman whose name I later found out was Kerri. The display was empty and I inquired on why that was so. Nothing at all was displayed. Kerri told be they had some sort of burn out? She said everything was in the back and I said "Oh I kind of just wanted to see the salads and Kerri replied "I'm not gonna do that I cant bring you stuff form the back so you can see it" Nasty nasty ...... Now I work with people all day long. If that had happened to me I would have asked what it was I was possibly interested in and I would bring small sample out to show you. As a former city kid I've had my share of bagels from NYC to Long Island. The bagels are average for a Long Island bagel place but when you put Brooklyn in your name you better put up or shut up. They had a hard time making an egg cream which should be second nature. Sorry guys but you might need to drop Brooklyn from your name. We order 18 whole grain bagels every 10 days from here because they are easily the best tasting bagels we have ever eaten. Service is always great and the price is right. Not sure why the other two reviewers were so negative. When we have visitors we give them Brooklyn bagels and they love them. 100% 5 star bagels! read more

Besides the fact we waited 20 minutes for the one cook to make two egg sandwiches (which everywhere I go only takes maybe 10 minutes at most) and the fact they couldn't even get a cream cheese and jelly bagel correct the first time, we went all the way back home just to find the wrong two egg sandwiches (which were disgusting) were made for us/given to us. One of the worst bagels cafes I've ever been to. The bagels just look sad and lonely like they've been sitting out for hours. The pumpkin bagel was dyed neon orange and tasted nothing like pumpkin. Went there for breakfast with my husband and daughter. We ordered one egg sandwich and an omelette. It was taking a long time with hardly any customers there. I went up to ask what was going she asked what I ordered and my name. I told her and she says oh yeah it's been sitting here, we thought it was a pickup. I sit down with the food and it's lukewarm at best. I went up to pay after and explained it was cold. Instead of 14.66, she charged me $10. I will never go back! read more
