This is specifically about their stand at JFK; can't speak to other locations. I honestly don't know if they're having growing pains; not sure how old the location is. But the service was excruciatingly slow for two or three people on line, even as the Starbucks across the way was whipping people through. It looked like one woman was training another, which might have figured into it. What REALLY shocked me was to ask for half and half in my drip coffee and then see I was charged a DOLLAR for it. What?

I stopped by here for a meeting with a friend recently. First thing I notice was how active it was. The people behind the counter are actively making the juices and smoothies. I love the aesthetic inside. A lot of artwork and the decor is nice. I ordered a juice. I forgot the name of it. Then I got the salmon patty. I enjoyed everything I got. The sauce that came with the salmon patty tho. I don't know what it was but that sauce was fire. Service is good in here. They had a line but nothing crazy.

This cafe is a blend of chic and rustic with a whole lot of freshness! If you're looking for a spot that offers fresh shakes, smoothies, and juices, don't look any further! They have an extensive list of so many great healthy options. The B44 with seamoss is absolutely refreshing and delicious. Need a coffee/tea pick me up, they have an array of options to choose from at their brew bar. They also have a great food menu too. From sandwiches, salads, pastries, breakfast, and patties. However, I didn't see any gluten free options besides salads and some of their sides menu options. This type of cafe, it would be great to also cater to the GF customers on the food menu too. The cafe has a few different seating options inside and outside. This place is busy, the foot traffic is pretty steady. The staff is friendly. A great neighborhood cafe for all things healthy. I look forward to trying more of their fresh smoothies and juices!

Brooklyn Blend was a nice little spot for brunch.... I had the Park Slope sandwich with salmon the tumeric bread was good, I also had the Bedstuy Beats as my drink, my cousin had the Flatbush French Toast with sweet potato fries. The service was quick and the server was friendly. Definitely a spot to visit .

I tried the burger with salmon, and it was really good - I enjoyed it. The smoothie was also nice. They have some vegan options too. However, it's hard to find a free table. Other than that, it was a good experience, and I'll come back

The food here is top notch! The turmeric bread that they bake daily for the sandwiches are amazing! I had the Greenwood Mango and it was the best mango smoothie I have ever tried. It was very sweet but had the good mix of mango and spinach. The veggie burger was really good and the pickled vegetables were tasty but as always the chipotle sauce is great. They need to bottle and sell it. As far as customer service, it was a bit lacking but I did do takeout so maybe you get more friendly service when you dine in. I was asked what type of payment I would be using and once I said card, I was pointed to a kiosk to order.

Brooklyn Blend is my absolute favorite go-to spot in the area and makes my favorite smoothies in the city. It's like a cafe & has all the options a cafe would but with an extensive & creative & uniquely flavorful food menu as well. They have a smoothie menu with fun Brooklyn themed names & those are SO GOOD, but they do allow you to get creative and customize as well. My go-to is the Canarsie Cranberry smoothie paired with avocado toast, which comes with pickled veggies. It is so good & healthy & I have not found it anywhere else. The ambiance is also perfect. It's always bustling with people, but the seating is off to the side and cozy nonetheless. There is even a couch! The large windows allow lots of sunlight to come in too. In addition, I consistently love the song that is playing whenever I am inside. They know what they're doing here. The service is amazing. The staff is super friendly & helpful. They go above and beyond to fix any errors on the rare occasion (once out of the entire year) that there is one. 10/10 I recommend this place to all of my friends and they are always happy.

The Pennsylvania Peach hit the spot on a hot summer day. They have a cute, small, indoor cafe space and also seating outdoors. The peach smoothie was flavorful and was absolutely refreshing on a 90°F day.

The Pumpkin patties are everything that you never knew you needed in you life. Slightly disappointed that they ran out of wild rice. It's definitely a hot commodity. Nevertheless, we Came back second time and the wild rice was back in business and must I say it was worth the wait. My go to order is the salmon sandwich and yes I devoured it. I also love the fact that they serve fresh coconut juice right in the heart of Brooklyn! Of course I will continue to go back when in the area.

I never leave reviews but I was super disappointed with the avocado toast. Waste of money. No tomatoes as advertised and the assortment of pickled veggies were thrown to the side so within 15 min the bread was soggy and inedible. Vibes were nice in the place though

I'm not sure why I continue to go here. It's always a disappointment. The staff are so friendly, the food and drinks are good, but every single time it takes forever and I leave feeling sad. I just stood and waited for 35 minutes for a sandwich, checked in several times, they kept asking me what I was waiting for, only to find my sandwich was ready long ago and just sitting on the counter sad and soggy. read more

This is a nice oasis to come to when you're searching for a breakfast spot on a Sunday morning. As an out of towner, I wanted to stick to the trusty spots only the locals go. I got good vibes about this place and sure enough my spidey senses were right. I had a delightful breakfast experience here. The young lady who served me was really, nice top notch personality and helpful. I had the Franklin Ave Frittata that is made up of smoked salmon, eggs, sautéed spinach and goat cheese with some fresh squeezed orange juice with a side of flingerling potatoes. We had Brooklyn Blend at our job and they are REVIVING!!! We had Keishon and T and not only were all their juices and smoothies so fresh and satisfying, their vibe and service was amazing. They provided such a good time we were so happy to have them. I loved the B44 smoothie the most but the best part was the ginger shots that you can chase with orange slices which I've never done before and honestly no matter what you have you feel the goodness of it in your soul. I always ride by this spot on my bike, but finally stopped in today because I needed a pick-me-up. The space is relaxing, staff is friendly, and they have a nice selection. I ordered a protein shake and it was legit - thick, cold, and delicious! Soooo many places do not know how to make a solid shake/smoothie...but this place does. I live only a few blocks away so I will definitely be coming back to try their other options. So glad I decided to try it out today! read more

Very nice place, coffee was good ans also the smoothie were pretty good, the sandwich was ok, maybe it was too sour and the wheat shot definitely not served in a proper glass, I received a plastic cup for sauce with the shot inside and it was not for take out. One of the only pleases that serves GOOD (seasoned and tasteful) VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN OPTIONS. This place always has a rotating menu and the truth is they're becoming a staple in the neighborhood. Coffee, Tea, Food this cafe is production oriented for individuals that take their work serious and want to be in a cozy space to get things done. BKLYN Blend has become my new vice! This is hands down my favorite local place to grab a healthy bite, fresh made juice (Bed-Stuy Beet is my personal fave), and get work done all while being greeted and serviced with warm smiles. The space has a rustic, cozy feel where I personally love finding a corner to tuck myself away in and get homework done. The staff is not only efficient, but ensures to make sure that every customer has an amazing experience from the time that they enter to the time that they take their last bite or sip. The owner, "Pops", and his four sons are welcoming and friendly and everyone that walks out is sure to feel like they're a part of the family! After all, who doesn't want to go to a place where everybody knows their name?! Oh, and you haven't had the full BKLYN Blend experience if you haven't had one of Pops' Tumeric-Ginger shots served with a slice of a fresh orange. The menu is healthy but FUN! Ed and Jose put their hearts and soul into making sure that every single Park Slope Salmon Sandwich/Salad that I've ordered is perfectly prepared, plated and served. My daughter brought me a salmon salad and a smoothie to Queens from here. Fire!!!!!! . Just took my second vac shot and she knew I needed this food. I lovvvvvved every morsel. They did the damn thing! I was ecstatic. Nothing like this in Queens. Trust and believe me. We will definitely be ordering again. Owners: you are worthy of the praise. That salad is the bomb. A great place to come and do some work and get something delicious to eat! I got the Salmon sandwich and the salmon was cooked just right. I've been here before but decided this time I'd write a review! The staff is always friendly and they seem to know a lot of the customers and have good report with one another. It's clean and the bench with the pillows is super cozy. I've had the coffee too and it's very tasty, not too bitter. I can't believe I've been sleeping on this spot all this time! I've walked past this place numerous times in the past but never got the chance to try it. Boy do I wish I'd done it sooner. The staff is super friendly and nice. Remember Cheers, "where everyone knows your name?" It's like that. I got the salmon sandwich (as per the staff recommendation) and the mango smoothie. Ah-mazing! I also should mention that this is a black owned business. So if supporting minority owned/ small business is your jam, then this is it . Stopped in Brooklyn Blend during a work trip to NY, and ended up going 3 days in a row! Incredible staff, food, coffee, and music. I tried the a couple of the breakfast sandwiches and the drip coffee, which came from a local roaster. (Should've bought a bag of beans). The sandwich bread is really unique with a fluffy texture and slightly sweet, you can't get enough. A manager said they also order that specially from a bakery nearby. Didn't get a whole smoothie but tried a sample of one that was delicious. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area. read more

Beautiful establishment, amazing atmosphere & the staff is perfect. Every time I walk in I am singing the song off whatever playlists they use, the people are polite. The shakes & juices are great! This place is pretty good! I'd recommend for a brunch date. It's not a service place! Once you order you have to get back up to grab your food. No cash. I ordered the tuna burger it was good! It was done well done, I asked for medium! It needed salt because the light flavor. Pretty good Brooklyn brunch setting without service! Food is not over the top amazing and not bad at all. I just had the best salad of my life!!!! The Seaview Swai salad was wayyyyyy better than I expected!!!! Brooklyn Blend is my favorite place in the neighborhood!!! They have incredible smoothies, their food is phenomenal and unique, and the workers are so friendly and down to earth. In the summer time they cut open coconuts for coconut water. Try the salmon sandwich on their amazing homemade (?) bread. Their patties are delicious. I really enjoy this business! The staff is amazing, professional, and very helpful. I ha v really enjoyed the fish patties here and the smoothies. The patties sell out early in the day. If you want one, you'll have to think early. I wish they made more fish patties. Also, I tried to salmon sandwich and it was extremely dry. So I would recommend ordering more sauce with the sandwich. But, if you are looking for a great cafe, Brooklyn Blend is A1 all the way. read more

There was a limited availability menu as well as there regular menu, so we ordered from both: Chutoro Sashimi ($27) - included 6 pieces of fatty bluefin tuna, that could be paired with a wasabi kizami (chopped fresh wasabi stems and leaves marinated in soy sauce), and aged soy sauce. Fish was fresh and the pairings added nicely to each bite. Crab Somen ($29) - included somen noodles, a cold crab dashi, with tomato ohitashi, herbs, and chili oil. The broth was very salty but it didn't cling to noodles well. Adding some chili oil helped a bit, but the star was the cherry tomatoes. Without it the dish would have tasted plan. I was not a fan of this one. Japanese Breakfast Set ($30) - normally the set comes with a roasted market fish, assorted seasonal vegetables, nanatsuboshi short grain rice, and almond miso soup. We swapped it for the limited time Misozuke Tuna Belly, which was dense, meaty, and was marinated in a saikyp miso. The tuna belly was flavorful on it's own, but adding the lemon and green kizami (not sure what this was made of, but it had a pickled, relish, citrusy, savory umami flavor) made it more enjoyable. The rice was fluffy and the light meaty floss on top paired nicely together. I was impressed with the egg and pickled side. Egg texture was like a custard tofu fusion, and I really like the julienned pickled radish. The miso soup is different from regular Japanese restaurants since it had a roasted nutty depth of flavor. This set was delicious. Chicken Katsu ($18) - included panko-fried thigh, b&b daikon, katsu sauce, and mustard. The chicken was juicy dark meat, portion size was a good. I like how they added crunch with the lettuce and sliced daikon. Note to only add a little Japanese Mustard because it was hot. Hottokek ($20) - This is a Japanese Souffle Pancake fluffy hotcake, with honey maple butter, and sesame. When looking at other tables, I understood why people only ate from the middle outwards. The core of the dish was a good souffle, with a soft, airy, creamy texture, in conjunction with the butter and syrup. However, due to the size it's difficult to maintain that quality throughout the whole souffle. The outer layer just tasted like a Chinese sponge cake. Would have liked if there was more butter and syrup provided on the side. The dishes come one at a time so it's not overwhelming to eat, especially when you have a small table and you order a lot of food. The prices are a little steep, but service is good and staff was attentive. It kind of shares a space with a wedding venue, so you can hear and see guests walking, which is interesting. There are 5 individual bathrooms provided, as well. Overall rating would be a 4.5, but I rounded it up to a 5 since I would want to come back again.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding an experience I had at your establishment during my lunch hour. After placing my order, I noticed that all the white customers who ordered after me were served before me. When I brought this to the attention of your African American staff, I was met with a dismissive response and what can only be described as a subtle, racially charged excuse. The apology I received felt insincere and inadequate, and it only reinforced my concern that I was treated differently based on my race. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and disheartening, especially in an environment where all customers should be treated with fairness, dignity, and respect. I hope you take this matter seriously and address it with your staff. No one should feel overlooked or discriminated against while simply trying to enjoy a meal. This review is mostly customer service based and BLEND based. If you find your way here you'll be sitting in the new modern Brooklyn glass and wood with metal accent feel. The staff is always welcoming and makes it feel like you guys are already friends The BLEND side is a force to be reckoned with! The smoothies are some of the best flavor combinations I've had. On a hot day this place is my go to for a refreshing drink. The price is a little steep ($9.00 for a "large" but it's still delicious! This is one of THE BEST customer oriented locations I have experienced. I was so impressed that I had to review this location. For starters the price is appropriate for the quality and ingredients. The salad included fresh red leaf lettuce cherry heirloom tomatoes, cranberries, cucumbers and the best part fresh grilled salmon filet!!! I also had the marine park shake which contained a fruit called sorsop (I probably spelled it incorrectly) which was amazing. What impressed me most was the worker named Eli. He was very attentive and I would like to give a kudos for a job well done on the service. I highly recommend this establishment! I come here occasionally to do work and get breakfast and have always found it consistently delightful. The coffee is great and the juices are amazing. They often just come out and bring you little cups of juices and smoothies to try, which I usually wind up getting. Also, everyone here seems genuinely in the best spirits every time I come by. Just good vibes all around from the staff to the customers. I literally just feel better after spending a few hours here working on stuff and sipping coffee. BKLYN Blend is the warmest, kindest, tastiest place in Brooklyn. Honestly, making tasty food is one thing, but the staff that works here really goes the extra step every time I'm there. Being able to go in and know I'm always going to get a smile and hello (and sometimes a nice hug!) really means the most. There aren't a lot of places that would make sure they take the time to really get to know their regular customers but BKLYN Blend does that each time. Really, really great food here. We had the set lunch menu, with the tuna to start (amazing). My partner had hake for main course, which was better than the sandwich (which still was good, but not awesome) and for dessert I got the almond cake which was a perfect ending for a great meal. I had their breakfast and it was amazing. I had the Franklin ave Frittata. The salmon was fresh and it cooked to perfection. My only complaint was that it took a little while to receive my meal but the manager stated that the food is made fresh to order which made the meal even more delicious. He was very courteous. Despite the unpleasant experience, they were very accommodating and remade her dish. The food was still delicious, so we decided to give it another chance. On our second visit, the smell was better, and the food looked cleaner, but we still found hair. The smoothie was great, and the muffin was also tasty. I was excited to try the vegan sandwiches, but they don't have the best vegan options. I wouldn't recommend their vegan tuna melt. On the bright side, their vegan pastries are really good. I'll still occasionally go for the smoothies because they're delicious and feel the cleanest there. I especially love the (vegan!) yogurt cloud option for the smoothie.

I asked if I they had wifi I could use while I eat and work (keyword EAT). They said yes but only for one hour. It was about 945am and I had a hair appointment nearby at noon. I decided to take the hour bc I could use my hotspot when I finished. I asked if I could sit anywhere and the man behind the counter said in a rude tone "no." I asked if the bar top was fine and sat there. I opened my laptop to sign into work. I had a menu next to me. No later than a few minutes passes by and a woman, I assume the owner, comes out to inform me that this is a business for eating not working. Her tone was stern and rude. I hadn't even gotten a chance to decide what to order. I closed my laptop, put it in my bag and left. It was almost like they didn't think I'd be spending money with them from the moment I walked inside. Meanwhile they had ONE customer. You'd think they'd want my business. The energy towards me felt so bad I would never return.

The jerk chicken was well-seasoned and not too spicy, the baguette perfectly toasted, and the fresh crunchy apples and veggies made for a nice textural component. Really good sandwich, and my friend was happy they were able to make the BEC veggie by replacing the bacon with avocado. I can't imagine anyone not loving this spot, I'm glad I know about it now and I'll be returning to try other things (french toast here I come!).

Somehow the cocoa worked with the ginger flavor, which I could never have expected. The shop also sells other items like sea moss, crystals, herbal remedies, and so forth. The main attraction for me are the smoothies and ginger drinks, but you can find quite a lot of "alternative" or "homeopathic" curios. The ladies who own the juice bar are really nice, friendly, and genuinely happy people. They're always smiling and talking with customers. Some businesses even lock the door. I looked up the hours of operation. One place says they are open until 7pm. Yelp says they are only open Saturday and Sunday and another place says they are open until 5pm. I had an appointment around the corner at 7pm and they were running late so I said I would visit the bush doctor and get a drink and be back in less than 5 minutes. Very hard to believe the positive reviews about good customer service after the experience I had today. Thankfully I have a juicer. And I liked that the shop had crystals and palo santo. I went to my appointment and let them know my experience and the customer she was working with were both like that's horrible
