I had a Christmas party the day I came here. Okay I don't know my co workers that well, their kitchens could be disgusting and they could not scrub their dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. So I found the closest place that was open. I came to Brooklyn bros. I love caprese salad and so I read the menu and found that they had one. So I got their caprese salad and it was beautiful !!! Kind of expensive for the amount I received but the quality of the food plus the service I received over the phone plus in person was outstanding so I didn't mind the price. I also came in quite close to closing and they didn't mind at all. I cannot say enough about this place, probably the best pizza in this state if not the best pizza in the Northwest. Do you like New York style thin crust pizza, then this is the only place to go without going to New York. Not much from the outside but you won't be disappointing with the food, and you have to try the cannolis! They are freaking delicious! But make sure you eat there, if you box up the pizza and take it home then it's like every other pizza where it gets steamed in the box and won't get that crunchy fresh cooked pizza crust. I LOVE this place but today decided to try something different. Huge mistake. I got the Sicilian. They told me 45 minutes. I go there at 40 min. It was on top of a shelf and then they took it and put it back in the oven for about 7 minutes or so. I was worried bc it alread looked dry but it was my first time trying this one and I love the others and trusted them, so I took it home. It was horribly dry and the bottom was so hard I couldn't eat it. The edges weren't crispy and yummy. They were burnt. After tax and tip I paid $40 for this horrible pizza. sad. Having come to the area for business, I was distraught when one of the first words out of my hotel clerk's mouth were "There's nothing to eat around here". Fortunately, this place provided an island in what proved to be an oasis of food finds. When I hear "New York Style Pizza", my ears perk up like a dog hearing the jangle of their walking leash. I might make the same hurried run to the pizza joint that a hyper dog makes to the front door. Basically, if I had a tail, I'd be wagging it non stop til I got my pizza. Often, New York style can be used as a means to get customers without actually delivering. This place gets it right. The pizza slices are super thin and the range of topping a to add to the pizza let you customize your own perfect slice. It was cool to see pizza configurations names after different neighborhoods in Brooklyn (with one named after the neighborhood I grew up in)! Unfortunately, that particular slice was only available as a whole pie (The Canarsie), so I opted for the Bay Ridge and the Bowery. The Bowery was definitely the star here. The sausage and pepperoni reminded me of the type of slice I'd get when living in New York. I will admit that the underside of the slice was a little crunchier than I like, but it didn't impact my enjoyment of the slice too much. I bet if I got a whole pie made fresh for me, the crust would've been soft enough to give that authentic New York fold. Its no wonder as to why this place was empty during lunch time on a weekend. My family and I received THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced from an employee named Mary. She was unwelcoming, obviously annoyed from the moment we walked in- did not greet us and yelled at my son to close the door before everyone was even inside- rude at every interaction that followed. Her coworker repeatedly apologized for her behavior, I felt bad for the other staff there. Apparently the owner lives elsewhere, unfortunate because they surely would have loved to see their employee treat their customers with such disrespect, escalating the situation to include coming at me in front of my children and stating she didn't have to "deal with this B". I will never consider returning after this horrible encounter. As for the pizza, it was ok, too greasy IMO but hubs said is was good. The Pizza has gone down hill over the years, The toppings have become so skimpy that it is not worth it any more. I got a Bowery with pepperoni, sausage, and garlic. There was only 25 pieces of Pepperoni on a large pizza and the sausage was blended in With the crust, there were no large clumps of it at all. Amazing thin crust pizza - true NYC style. I highly recommend getting slices so you can try a little of everything. I haven't been back to NYC since 2005, but this was as close as you can get. When you walk in the walls are covered in sharpie like you'd see in the 90's punk era. This is not a "wait to be seated place" which I love. I love that it's an order your food at the bar kind of place. Also they have good beer. Regional and local selections. They have more then pepperoni and cheese by the slice for selections. It's traditional thin crust with yummy toppings. The walls weren't plagued with too many TVs, which strangely I preferred for this space. This is a "come sit and catch up with friends" kind of place. And you can do it with pizza and beer. Love that when you order they heat it up in a brick Things I didn't like: Surprisingly for their plain selections they were still $4 a slice which for me was a little high. Second time, I ordered a pizza to go, asked how long it be as I had people waiting for me at home and the response was "10 business days". Which turned out to be true. These guys have a very clear picture in mind of what it is they want to be, and it's hard to argue that they are not delivering on what they set out to do. They're doing a rock-solid job for sure. They're right across the street from the hockey barn in downtown Everett. No doubt they get pretty swamped on game days during the winter. They don't appear to offer beer, and they seem to be doing a pretty solid business with families. They present themselves as the most New York of New York pizzerias not in New York. Gigantic Brooklyn Bridge photo framed over the stairs. Every pie named after a neighborhood in Brooklyn. The whole place is named after Brooklyn. Sammy and Frank and Deano on the walls. You feel like you shouldn't say it "peet-za-ree-ah," it should be "pizz-uh-ree-ah" instead, just because it's so, you know, New York up in here. The to-go box even says "fahgeddabouddit" on there. It's so, you know, New York. You walk in to a two-story brick building that kinda does vaguely resemble older east coast construction; you can see why they picked it. The ground floor dining room is packed with picnic tables; you order at the back. Looks like there's an upstairs as well. Back at the counter, they have a bunch of pies up on pizza stands--you can order by the slice all day if you want. The whole-pie prices are OK; not amazing, but not bad at all. $25 out the door for an 18", which fed three people pretty easily. They use fairly high-quality ingredients and the recipes are good. We had the Flatbush, which is roasted red peppers, roasted garlic, and sausage. Very tasty, even after it cooled off a fair bit. The crust seemed like pretty typical crust to me; they're aiming for a foldable thin-crust slice akin to what's ubiquitous in NYC. I've never tried those pies, but this one did not seem worlds apart from other thin-crust pies around here. Nicely chewy, very well-made, but nothing that will put every other thin-crust pie in the area to shame or anything like that. Just a really good crust. They get it pretty dark, which I like--no hidden pockets of doughiness in there. The staff here are definitely local kids; they don't try to play up the NYC pantomime or anything like that, which was kind of a relief after navigating all the symbolism on the walls. Best pizza I've ever had. Hands and feet down. I'll briefly break down the components to a great slice. I will simultaneously be describing my delightful zah experience in Washington state. Crust: The crust was light with a "crackery" shell and a chewy, yeasty center. Blistered edges give that brick oven smokiness that you find in authentic pies. Cheese: REAL! You can tell the difference between real mozzarella and the sawdust stuff. The difference is oil. This was not an oily pizza creating a yellow pool collecting from drips off your slice's pointy edge. Creamy, stringy mozzarella. Can't get better than that. Sauce: Saucy. Not too much or too little. Just enough to whet your palate but keep your cheese in place. Neutral with a taste of fresh tomato. More like a diced tomato than a cooked tomato sauce. Just enjoyable Service: nothing special. You wait at the counter for your pie and then bring it to your table. I'd hope that they'd provide table service during busier hours because waiting in a long line would really suck. Brooklyn has nothing on this perfect pizza pie. You have my vote! read more

This is my favorite pizza joint in the entire state, and no I haven't tried every pizza place in the state but why bother when I have found the pizza motherland! You want pizza by the slice? OK! Want a whole ginormous pizza with fresh authentic ingredients? OK! What about airy, doughy, delicious breadsticks? OK! And if you want awesome friendly service I want you to shout out another OK! I took some family here a month or so back... unfortunately my mom has a weird stomach and can hardly eat a thing so I tried to order her just plain breadsticks, but it was a hockey night so they were all out :( so sad. Side note, it can be very hard to find seating on a hockey night. The lady behind the counter helped me find something else appropriate and because she felt so bad she gave us all of our drinks for free! Yes that is right, FREE! Appreciate the thin crust, don't knock it! I've been eating pizza from this establishment since it opened. Up until the past two years nothing but Stellar reviews. Ordered two large pizzas online with the 15% tip. Show up exactly 30 minutes later and they make me wait for 18 minutes. Only one other customer was there. Service there was a joke. Holy crapballs. This was amazing. I learned two things when I stopped by for an early dinner at Brooklyn Brothers Pizzeria. First, that propaganda that the east coasters of this country try to push onto us where they way that "it's in the water" or some stuff like that. It's non-sense. You know how I know that? Because, SECOND, I learned these guys make an amazingly, obscenely awesome pizza. I asked a server if they import water from the east coast. I know she thought I was cracked, but she humored me and told me that they don't. So ergo, truly awesome pizza is here in Everett. And I'm damn glad it is. I got myself a medium pizza with anchovies and sun dried tomatoes on it. Strictly in the interests of science, while that pizza was cooking, I had them give me a slice of pepperoni. Amazing. Truly. The slices were small in diameter but big on flavor. All of the ingredients were perfectly balanced in amount and taste to complement one another. A good amount of tasty stringy cheese but not too much. Sauce on its own had good flavor when I tried it. I now know what some of the pizza experts who talk about true NY style talk about with the crispy, yet chewy crust. Then I got my anchovy and sun-dried tomato pie. Even better. Not always an easy thing to find anchovies that have a flavor more complex than just a salt wallop. I don't know where they get them here, but guys, keep doing what you are doing. I pretty much found that you had to fold it. Normally not a proponent of this because I feel like I'm eating it too fast and I can't savor it. I got over it. If you have the same "I-don't-like-to-fold-my-pizza" hang up, you'll get over it too. It was amazing. Okay, too many times I've used "amazing," but honestly I can't think of another characterization. I had been waiting to try Brooklyn Brothers for quite some time, so I was hoping to be really happy with our meal. Ehhh, it was good, not great. Pros: - The crust is extremely well done. Nice flavor, crunch and cooked consistently. - Ingredients seemed fresh. Cons: - There were visible portions of the pie that were missing sauce or toppings, almost like they were too busy to be consistent. - Parking can be tough, but it's downtown Everett, so it should be expected. It is literally across the street from the Comcast arena, so it makes for a good pre or post game stop. However the seating is a little screwy so you might have to stand or take your pizza outside. I don't care where I eat it, I'll do it anywhere. The inside space is a little cramped so you have to squeeze by other people to get a soda refill. Other than that, it's a great find. read more

They make AMAZING pizza...I've only had the basic napoletana or the margherita here, but why bother to order anything more complicated when you can get one of these...a terrific thin crust from obviously a super blazingly hot oven that gets it crispy and melts the cheese so that the cheese is all gooey and the tomato sauce is all yummy and tomato-ey and the herbs are herb-y and yummy and really yummy and good and really yummy and amazing. And it's really yummy too. Holy cow. I am just kinda totally blown away by them. The beautiful chalkboard menu also contains some pretty funny verbal abuse of the practice of putting pineapple on pizza. Delicious thin crust pizza right in the heart of downtown Everett. I have heard about this pizzeria from a few people, and my husband has been convincing me to go there for the longest time. Honestly, I don't know why I haven't gone here sooner. The pizza is made perfectly. The slices are huge. We got the pepperoni and the meat pizza and both flavors were super. We also ordered the Caesar salad, which was more than enough for two people to share. Is this a New York style pizzeria with NY tasting pizza? Not sure, but I have heard from a few that it may be close to that :) We have been here twice already and were welcomed by the staff, our order was taken quickly and we had our food in no time. Both times, this place was pretty packed out, another good thing, as it shows the food is pretty delicious and folks keep coming back. We will definitely be making a stop here soon. read more

As I waited for my order, I saw staff take pizza and slices off the rack and put them in the oven again before placing them in the boxes. and that's exactly how our pizza tasted.
