Had the pleasure of eating dinner on the outside patio with family members. The food was delicious and hot. We all ordered something different so we could try several entree's. Spaghetti with meatballs, Fettuccini Alfredo, bow tie pasta with pesto sauce and a pepperoni pizza. We all enjoyed our meals and we also ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir which was very good and my hubby had a Blue moon Beer. The staff was friendly and efficient. Oh baby! Covid take out brought me to Brooklyn V's. Was not aware it was so so so good. Got a simple cheese pie with a side of meatballs. The meatballs were tender and flavorful. The pie was good, bubbly cheese, thin crust and flavorful sauce. I still think the beat pizza is from Jersey, but I will be back for the stromboli. read more

I usually order at the Lindsay and warner location but I wanted to give this place a try. At first they couldn't locate my order but the server at the counter was real helpful and apologized for the mix up with the app. The kitchen staff informed me that he'll take care of the order and get it out ASAP. I was ready to lose my mind but the assurance from the staff was wonderful and reassuring. The chef made sure he apologized and was really wonderful. When my order was ready the staff once again thanked me. Now the food, I came home and devoured the pasta. I've been looking for a restaurant that made fettuccine carbonara and this was just fantastic. Being a New Yorker were very critical of our pasta and pizza and this place wins. This place is usually fantastic. Not tonight. We placed an order for delivery with an estimated time of 39-45 min. No problem. Almost 1.5 hours later, our food finally leaves the restaurant and gets delivered and is cold. Will not be visiting this location any time soon. read more

I'm from New Jersey and this is the closest pizza I can find to back home. It is also consistent which is difficult to find around here.

We went to the Brooklyn V's on Chandler heights. It was really,really nice inside! We went to celebrate my grandsons birthday. We ordered anti pasta salads, 2 of them and garlic knots to start. There were 10 of us and I still took salad home! We also ordered 4 large pies, large they were we took some of that home! Everyone hade plenty to eat! Our server was adorable! Came here randomly being in the area but wow, so glad we did. Their pizza is amazing! The crust is the perfect amount of crunch on the outside but still soft under the sauce. Just ok. Hubby and I arrived at 5:30 on a week night and already busy but staff was friendly and was able to seat us. Half the restaurant feels like a cafeteria but we sat closer to the bar In a booth and enjoyed all the screens to watch football. Unfortunately it took almost 50 minutes to get our salad then 10 minutes later our pizza which was average at best with minimal toppings and even missed the fresh basil that was advertised on our pizza. I wasn't a huge fan of their pizza. We have ordered a few times from them. We always get half bacon and half mushroom. The pizza is usually not cut well, so we have to redo it when we get home. The cheese almost always slides off when you eat it. I've also tried their fettuccine alfredo with chicken and it was very bland. Just not a huge fan. read more

So I just want to say that as a NYer, I love the food and the service at Brooklyn V's restaurants. This review is not about the food, which is excellent IMO. However, I placed my order online for pick-up. And at the end of the order is a .95 fee (that can't be removed, so it's mandatory) described as a fee to promote and support pizzerias. I'm pretty sure that's called advertising and that's the cost of doing business. It should already be calculated when determining the cost of your product. Extremely frustrating to be charged a separate fee for something like that and it not being discretionary for the consumer. Bad way of doing business and sheds a poor light on the restaurant. I would give this 5 stars for the food but put 3 stars to bring attention to this review. read more

The online ordering app on their website keeps trying to charge me a $3.50 delivery fee for a takeout order. Decided to try this place out before the movies. From the start it was a disaster! We entered and walked and saw a sign; please wait to be seated. We stood there waiting with 3 children and someone from the wait staff told us did you need something? Ermmmmm I don't know may to be directed where to sit! Then once seated we asked if there was a bigger area for us as we had 3 children and 2 adults in a 4 person booth. We were taken to a larger booth style seat in the back area. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:20 and placed our order at 6:30 and waited until 7:20 for the food to come out. The staff were asked several times when the food would be coming. We were told sorry we are busy with take outs so the kitchen is backed up. The table next to us walk out as they never received their food (same situation), we didn't have that option as we had starving children! Once the food arrived everyone started eating the food was decent nothing to special. Wait for it the best part is still to come...........I'm a vegetarian and my pizza slice had three pieces of chicken under the cheese layer. How do I know you may ask, I was chewing a piece of my pizza and had chicken in my mouth. I then proceeded to take off the cheese and found the other pieces. We had already paid for the food as we were running late for the movie and wanted to be able to feed the children and be ready to leave for the movie. Due to the prepayment I requested the wait staff to refund my pizza slice as I shouldn't have had to pay for food I could not eat. The waitress looked at me as if I was from another planet. What do you mean you don't eat chicken, wait just take it off, ok I will see if I can get you a refund.....these are the comments made by the waitress. Then comes back and states sorry we can not refund you money for food you didn't like. I'm like excuse me, that is not the case! The manager stated how about we give you a credit for your next visit....I stated no I want my money back! I will not be returning ever again as I don't like to eat meat as it's a dietary choice I have made! Needless to say I didn't get a refund not a credit. This place is a shit show! With the climate today in the restaurant business, you would think these places would fight hard to get your business. The offer I got for this place included free delivery of an order over 15.00. I ordered twice that and was still charged. I ordered a pizza and a cheesesteak. The cheese steak was just a crappy meat sandwich with cheese on top. And low rate cheese at that. We ordered the garlic knots with cheese and they were literally flavorless and covered in a big pile of greasy cheese. Caesar side salad was the highlight of our meal, but even there the croutons were soggy. Waitress recommended my husband have balsamic dressing along with his blue cheese so he said "ok I'll try it" and the waitress didn't return for 10+ minutes with the balsamic. My eggplant rollatini came out luke warm at best and 10 minutes before my husband's calzone. The rollatini was basically ricotta cheese with minuscule amounts of eggplant and marinara. The calzone was just okay. We spent $65 before tip on the 1/2 order of garlic knots, two entrees and three drinks (2 beers 1 wine) and I am so disappointed. read more

Brooklyn V's is the most amazing place ever! They saved me today, by making the best catering order ever! It was complete last minute for my company as our catering order at another establishment was cancelled by said establishment 10 minutes before pickup! I called other places to help me and no one was available. I called Brooklyn V's as soon as they opened! Samantha was the best help ever! She took my order down and had my order done in 30 minutes! My company is extremely satisfied with the food we received! I appreciate everything they did for me especially as last minute as it was! Went there for just some lunch slices of pizza. The slices tasted 100% fresh just as if I ordered a full pizza. Normally when I get a pizza slices they throw on the toppings and reheat it. We have been to this restaurant a few times in the past few months. Now that we are in the middle of a raging Pandemic, it would be nice to know that everyone, especially restaurants take it seriously. After picking up our pizza and and an Antipasto salad, my wife informed me that 1/2 the staff she could see in the kitchen had no masks on! In our county there is a mask mandate for restaurants. Too bad this place doesn't take it or our health seriously. Even though we are aware that the transmission of the virus is not as high through food P/U, she still didn't want to take the chance. We have been in for lunch a handful of times and each time has been great. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Pizza and salads are fantastic!!! We were in this weekend and I had forgotten baby food for my 8 month old. The chef saw me digging in the diaper bag and I mentioned my issue. Without a hesitation he went to the kitchen puréed pineapple and made me baby food. My family was able to enjoy our meal without having to rush to get the baby food. This place was fabulous we are so happy we found it. We were 5 min into a "30 minute" wait at a near by pizza place, the kids were hungry and getting tired, so I looked for the next closest pizza place and found this gem, within walking distance. We were promptly greeted and seated when we walked in. Our server Kole was kind, charismatic, and attentive. The place was not packed and had a good variety of seating options. We ordered the 21" 3 meat pizza, the baked caprese, drinks for the kids, a beer for dad, and wine for mom. Later we ordered cannolis for desert. Our total bill was only $67, that's pretty good for a family of 5, including alcoholic beverages. The pizza arrived quickly and was delicious, not greasy, nice thin crust, good flavors. I thought the bread on the caprese was a little thick, but it was still good. The basil had great fresh flavor to it. We all enjoyed the little cannolis with the crispy shell and creamy filling; the kids were dipping their fingers in the chocolate sauce after. We were in and out of the restaurant within an hour. Perfect for a tired hungry family. Everyone in the restaurant was friendly from the minute we walked in, they thanked us for coming and said see you next time when we left. It was like we had a meal with friends. We are visiting from San Diego for the weekend and if we ever come back out here again, this will definitely be "our pizza place." read more

I've been coming to Brooklyn V's for years now. I grew up in NYC and went to Vito's pizzeria when I was a teen! I had no idea he was out here until I discovered his Gilbert location years ago. He is a master at his craft and a true gentleman. If he doesn't know you, he makes it a point to stop by the table to check in and introduce himself. If you want authentic NY pizza, great pasta dishes, unbelievable strombolis and his home made cheesecake, I suggest you visit Vito at his newest location next to the Harkins theater at the Chandler Crossroads shopping center. We typically seek out Chicago style pizza, but we thought we would give Brooklyn V's a try. It was excellent. My son, commented how great the buttery crust was. The garlic knots were also excellent.
