My family has been going to this place for years and we love the food. I ordered the meatball sub for delivery and it looked wonderful at first. I asked for the bread to be well done with extra sauce. This is what happened. I uploaded the beautiful picture of it to Uber Eats & and didn't save the picture. This is for the new location in NE Mesa that has not yet registered on Yelp. This is located in the old Flancer's restaurant on Higley. What a delight! The food was fabulous and the service was great. They remodeled the place and it looks fresh and new. Our first visit we ordered a Mac and Cheese ball appetizer that was rich and flavorful. Then an 18" shared pizza of cheese and loaded. I had the loaded and the toppings were all delicious. If you remember where Flancer's in NE Mesa was - run, don't walk, to Brooklyn V's! I ordered carryout last week. I have mixed opinions. The chicken rollup was amazing. The flavor of the chicken and pasta was perfection. It's enough for 2-3 meals or good for sharing. The tiramisu was very good, too. But, the garlic knots and cinnamon bites were yucky. The garlic knots had no garlic flavoring and don't seem like they were baked long enough. They were chewy. We noticed the same about the dessert. I'm not a fan of the pizza, either. My son ordered pepperoni. I didn't like the crust and there weren't many toppings. I'd try this restaurant again because I loved my chicken dish and see that they have a good variety of pizza, sandwiches and pasta. read more

I've been ordering from this location since they opened. I knew I was taking a risk ordering on a Friday night, but the attached photo is what they must have considered acceptable to give a customer. My by the slice choices were thrown on top of an already cooked plain cheese pizza and barely cooked. The ham was cold, and the pineapple literally fell off the slice when I picked it up, indicating it was thrown on top. The cherry tomatoes on the Margherita were raw and there wasn't a single piece of basil. Completely lazy execution. read more

We ordered pick up. I got the portobello ravioli with chicken which I've gotten before and had it taste phenomenal. Photo on the left is what I got instead. When I called and said there were no extra mushrooms on top and no Marsala sauce, I was told the chicken comes in a pesto sauce so that's why it's like this and the only mushrooms are inside the ravioli and they decided not to issue me a credit for a $24 meal that was made incorrectly. When we order from here it's 50/50 at best if everything turns out and after this and the customer service we are done. Strombolis come burned, food isn't ready when they say it's going to be, wings were drowning in sauce tonight, we went in with our kids and they forgot to put in the kids meals. I think I might have a new favorite pizza place! My boyfriend and I arrived home from a Tucson trip and we needed some dinner while we took down our Christmas decorations. I opted for Brooklyn V's as I have never had it before. I drive part time for DoorDash and this restaurant receives a lot of orders. Every time I go to pick up orders here it's usually pretty busy so I thought I'd give it a try. We ordered an 18" pizza, half pepperoni and two dinner salads. The pizza was delicious...it was that thin crispy New York style I've been looking for! The salads were crisp and fresh and just delicious. I had mine with balsamic and my boyfriend got Italian and his dressing looked really good. This restaurant has other dishes available (aside from pizza) that look really good. I have my eye on the bowtie pesto pasta and can't wait to give that a try! read more

I'll start by saying that the food is pretty good. It really is. Not the absolute best in town (that award goes to Sal's Gilbert Pizza). But good food is only half the puzzle. I order delivery from here relatively frequently, and they somehow manage to screw up the order: every.single.time. This is in zero way an exaggeration. Sometimes the wrong side dish is included. Sometimes somethings missing from the order. Sometime the wrong type of pizza is sent. Today, my salad was missing. I want to like and keep going to this place, but truthfully it's more trouble than it's worth. I took a long break from them for a while for this reason, only to give them another try today. And apparently, nothing's changed. I won't be giving them my business anymore and suggest others follow suit. read more

Okay, I have to update my review of this restaurant. I placed to carry out order using the slice app. I ordered a 14-in three meat pizza. I showed up when they said the order was ready walked in and asked for my order and they could not find it. I showed them the confirmation of the order on my phone and they still couldn't find the pizza. After 10 minutes of searching they finally located the slice order and gave me my $24 14-in three meat pizza. I got the pizza home and I didn't get what I ordered. I got a 14-in cheese pizza that was burned. I called slice and let them know that I had an issue with my order and slice apparently tried to contact the pizza shop several times in the owner was never available to correct the issue. I will never go back to this place again. Completely dissatisfied customer. Do yourself a favor if you're thinking about ordering a pizza from this place. Go across the street to Little Caesars and get a pizza there you'll be much happier. read more

Ordered through Slice app late in the day. I selected Brooklyn V's from pictures and reviews. I picked up my order--ready on time which was great as there was only one person in the restaurant. Pizza was just okay. Greasy with a cardboard-like bottom crust, toppings were plentiful. Calamari was gummy bear chewy, and also very greasy. I warmed them up in an air fryer...lots more grease! A bit more crunchy but the flavor was awful. The sauce tops for the calamari were squished in the calamari container--melted and popped open--what a mess. I understand it was late in the day and they had one customer in the dining area but Brooklyn V's could have taken better care packing! Overall--I might try again but for the money spent, I'll stick to the more tasty Sal's or Little Joe's pizza. read more

I met a friend here for lunch. It's tucked away in the corner of a shopping center. There was plenty of seating, both tables and booths. We shared a white eggplant pizza. It was delicious. The crust was cooked perfectly, and the dollops of ricotta made it feel decadent to eat. We only wanted a slice and luckily they had pizza by the slice so we got one and then split a salad, it was quick and friendly service and the pizza slices are BIG, so take that into account. I have had their wings as well- delicious. Obviously the best way to experience this pizza is in person, but they also deliver on all the apps- just know you risk having an app person deliver an order slow and make the pizza a bit underwhelming. I have ordered before, but more and more I see reviews about app delivered food being bad and I think its more the app than the food a lot of the time! I am from San Diego and visit Phoenix a couple times a year. I found this place on my last visit to AZ and just loved it. Best hole in the wall place with awesome pizza, wings and cheesecake. The closest I can find to NY style pizza in San Diego is Landinis, but this pizzeria if it was in SD would be definitely my favorite. I called their number and they were very helpful in confirming the order and having my food ready in about 20 mins. We got the bbq chicken bacon pizza and the flavor was great. The restaurant was fairly empty, but was filling up quickly. We were seated immediately. We got our drinks and ordered an appetizer. I came here for pizza so I ordered the 14" bruschetta pizza. This consists of diced tomatoes and onions, fresh basil, garlic, sauce and cheese on a hand tossed crust. Our appetizer was out in a few minutes. The garlic knots were outstanding! Definitely garlicky and soft with lots of ooey gooey cheese and a nice homemade dipping sauce. When my pizza arrived, the aroma was mouthwatering. The crust was just as I like it, thin and crispy. The edge was also crispy which you don't often get on an edge. The flavor of this pizza was amazing. The garlic was pronounced but not overpowering. The fresh basil added a nice aroma and complimented the other toppings well. This was definitely one of the best pizzas I've had and will live on my best pizza list. Aside from the pizza, the service was outstanding. Our server Brian mentioned that there were only two people working today. They didn't miss a beat. Came here for dinner after visiting the Cozy Claw next door, and soooo glad we did! The food was awesome, everything tasted great, we got the margherita pizza, eggplant hero, and garlic knots. Our kids split bowtie pasta with marinara and a slice of pepperoni pizza, which they both LOVED. The service was excellent and super friendly, great relaxing atmosphere, and it smells amazing inside. I googled best pizza in Gilbert and found this hole in the wall gem. We ordered the v's three meat with jalapeño and it was delicious. The crust is crispy and the pizza isn't greasy at all, which is surprising considering it was all meat and cheese. After the pizza, we were stuffed, but interested in the cannolis. We didn't want a full order, but our amazing waiter Cole brought us 2 on the house. I can't recommend this place enough! Leaving full and happy! read more

People could feel pressured to stay if they don't have the personality to shut the conversation short. But with the right customer the feeling of being welcomed can have the effect of staying longer and tasting more great Sicilian food. Other employees can learn the methods of great customer service from Vinny alongside with their own personality could lead to a great welcoming establishment. - Don't know what their cleaning schedule is but - Other employees did a great job of active listening when putting the chocolate sauce on the side of the cinnamon dessert instead of directly on the fried cinnamon bread giving me the option to customize it at my discretion, as initially I was ordering my pizza to go but decided to stay due to the welcoming environment. read more
