Great place to get Malatang in Kent! They have a huge selection and most importantly huge selection of broths you can sample before picking. The service was friendly, the broth is flavorful and spicy. I highly recommended and would come back!

Personally, I really loved the broth--it was flavorful and one of the highlights of the meal. The restaurant was also very clean, which made for a comfortable dining experience. However, some of the food seemed undercooked. The pumpkin and taro were still quite firm and could have been cooked longer to become more tender. The fish cake was still cool in the center, and my husband's octopus also needed more cooking time. Since this is a new restaurant, I can understand that there may still be some growing pains and adjustments to make. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our visit and are willing to give it another chance. We'll definitely come back, and hopefully the food preparation will be more consistent by then. Wishing the team the best as they continue to improve!

The food (hot pot) was very delicious. I pick the curry broth and was very flavorful. I will definitely be back for sure. The service was great. My first time dining here and I liked it. Plenty of free parking is a plus for me.

Yall gotta try this! All the broth options were so good and everything was clean. The Louisiana sausage was a surprise favorite of mine and I loved the beef mala broth. The broth portion was very generous. I am excited to add this to my rotation, service was very friendly!

But for those in the know, Triumph Valley is really known for their dim sum menu! Off the beaten path, you have to take State Highway 167, as its just south of the large IKEA store. But definitely a culinary landmark if you are a constant diner of Chinese cuisine, and dim sum afficianado. There are only three dim sum, or dumpling lunch providers in or around the City of Renton (technically two). This is one of them, and if you are not early, it can get really crowded, especially on weekends. But the staff bravely soldiers-on with their dilligent service. The restaurant's ambiance takes advantage of its interior with strategic lighting in their dining hall. Very utilitarian, while trying to ensure a little bit of style. They also modernize the experience with electronic waiting and ordering system on portable touch screens. It actually helps the service. No paper. As for me, my focus is on the dim sum. All of my favorites are there. And, as diner of one, it was hard not to want to order everything. So, I ordered the "basics" of a dim sum lunch. One order of Shiu Mai, one order of Har Gow, and one order steamed BBQ Pork. It was pretty much all you need along with an order of tea, as well as a Diet Coke to wash it all down. There were other traditional dim sum selections, but I knew my tummy (and wallet) wouldn't absorb it all - as much as I would have liked. Steamed beancurd sheets, beef meatballs, steamed sticky rice in banana leaves... chicken feet, it was all there. The best way is to make a plan, and invite lots of freinds to make sure you can try EVERYTHING! Yes, there are other menu items, like I said, but for Dim Sum dining in Renton, this is the place!!!! See you at Triumph Valley.

The broths are flavorful, spicy options have a good kick without being overwhelming, and the milder ones are comforting. Portions are generous for the price, and the customizable setup makes it easy for groups with different spice preferences or dietary needs. Service is usually quick, and the casual atmosphere works well for a relaxed meal. It's especially nice on cooler days when you want something warm and filling. A few tips, the dining room can get busy on peak hours and weekends, and the spice levels are legit, so start milder if you're sensitive. We always return here after my daughter's long flights.

I didn't see his name, but the Asian guys with a hat and a sleeve of tattoos was quite rude and dismissive. When we asked for our fires to be put out, he made a dissatisfied face. One fire end up not being out our properly so I asked him to do it again. He made eye contact and just looked away, and ignored me completely. Then, he went straight to helping other people. We thought he'd come back after helping that customer so we waited. He never came back. Thankfully one of the female waitresses there was attentive and nice when we asked! I understand that everyone has bad days and he may have just been tired, but it honestly wasn't that busy compared to some other times and they had a lot of staff working too. I think I was more taken aback that he made eye contact with me and just completely ignored me even though we were patient. The beef bowl.. there were some obvious switches with some ingredients. But I understand, everything is getting more expensive. Just thought I'd point it out for new customers. BP is my comfort place, so this experience was a little upsetting. I hope it'll be better the next time I go back!

It is located in the Great Wall Shopping Mall in Kent. I recommend entering on the left side( when you're looking at the maib entrance for the mall) doors, as youll see it on your right side. Just look for the lit up red letters. The store itself isn't big, so just be aware as they can get pretty busy. Once inside you'll see fresh veggies, meats and other toppings on the right side. But don't get too carried away, because they do weigh it by the pound and it can add up fast and you'll have the modt expensive malatang ever. Haha. If you have a severe nut or seasame allergy, this place is not for you since they use all of the above. They do advise if you have an allergy to let them know. Its also noted that they use milk in their sous so be aware. They did add a tomato based soup, but there wasnt much details on if they still included the nuts and milk, so please confirm with the staff. I love spicy so I got it spicy, but to me it wasn't but to the rest of the crew, they were sweating. And the staff does advise not to get it if you cant do spicy. If you like pork, the crew got the sweet and sour pork. Its different from other spots since the pork is flattened out. And they said it has a nice crunch and taste. They do have drinks available for purchase from soda to asian teas thats to the right of the register. Service was good, the staff was friendly and nice!

The next time I visited in person with my mother and brother who were excited to try them out as I raved to them about the food that I had received. We got their 40 minutes before closing but the kind gentleman said nothing about closing soon and let us choose our seats. The inside was decently sizes to accommodate all party sizes. The decor is thoughtful and feels like a cozy home. Our waiter handed us menus and then got us waters before taking our order. My mom got their pad kee mao with chicken (2 stars), my brother got the pad lao with chicken, I got their traditional Kao Pon, and a order of their lao pork sausages. I was surprised by how fast food arrived as my Kao Pon arrived before the sausages but it wasn't too long before the rest of the food arrived. My family members were also impressed and happy with their food, though they said the spice levels were definitely on the spicier side than other places. We want to come back to try out their other dishes as this is some of the best Laotian and Thai food we have had!
