Yall gotta try this! All the broth options were so good and everything was clean. The Louisiana sausage was a surprise favorite of mine and I loved the beef mala broth. The broth portion was very generous. I am excited to add this to my rotation, service was very friendly!

A triumph itself in Renton, Triumph Valley has boasted versatility throughout the years since it's…read moreopening. From ramen, to hot pot, large parties and of course a traditional menu. But for those in the know, Triumph Valley is really known for their dim sum menu! Off the beaten path, you have to take State Highway 167, as its just south of the large IKEA store. But definitely a culinary landmark if you are a constant diner of Chinese cuisine, and dim sum afficianado. There are only three dim sum, or dumpling lunch providers in or around the City of Renton (technically two). This is one of them, and if you are not early, it can get really crowded, especially on weekends. But the staff bravely soldiers-on with their dilligent service. The restaurant's ambiance takes advantage of its interior with strategic lighting in their dining hall. Very utilitarian, while trying to ensure a little bit of style. They also modernize the experience with electronic waiting and ordering system on portable touch screens. It actually helps the service. No paper. As for me, my focus is on the dim sum. All of my favorites are there. And, as diner of one, it was hard not to want to order everything. So, I ordered the "basics" of a dim sum lunch. One order of Shiu Mai, one order of Har Gow, and one order steamed BBQ Pork. It was pretty much all you need along with an order of tea, as well as a Diet Coke to wash it all down. There were other traditional dim sum selections, but I knew my tummy (and wallet) wouldn't absorb it all - as much as I would have liked. Steamed beancurd sheets, beef meatballs, steamed sticky rice in banana leaves... chicken feet, it was all there. The best way is to make a plan, and invite lots of freinds to make sure you can try EVERYTHING! Yes, there are other menu items, like I said, but for Dim Sum dining in Renton, this is the place!!!! See you at Triumph Valley.

The restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall leading to ranch 99 (Asian supermarket). I've had this spot pinned on my Google Maps for the longest time but just never had the opportunity to make the drive there. This place was easy to miss if you don't look carefully so I'm glad I saw this recommended by a Seattle foodie I follow on instagram. We ordered the spicy braised beef noodles and steamed dumplings to share since we weren't that hungry. The braised beef noodles BLEW ME AWAY. The broth was so rich and savory, my mom commented that it tasted better than the one at din tai fung (we are frequent visitors & I agree) and the noodles were chewy (I love thick noodles!!). The dumplings were very juicy and flavorful but nothing too special. Service was prompt and servers were really friendly. There were so many other dishes on the menu featuring traditional Chinese dishes that looked delicious and so I do want to come back to try those when I am hungry! Definitely a hidden gem for good Asian food :)

Cute older woman was preparing dumplings at the counter behind the glass (you can also catch them rolling out and preparing noodles) Fresh, flavorful, delicious. A favorite of ours whenever we are craving soup dumplings or hand pulled noodles. Lots of options, everything we eat has been delicious.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! Every single dish we had was delicious…read more First of all, the pho. The portion size is large, which I love! Other places will charge extra for the large size, or up charge for extra broth/noodles. Here, they give you a large portion upfront. Amazing. Also, you don't have to add hoisin or anything - broth comes with the perfect flavor already. You can add other toppings to your liking. My husband ordered (to my surprise) chicken noodle soup. He is normally a spicy curry type person, and I was very skeptical about his choice. Well, this is not your average chicken noodle soup. If anything, this is the furthest thing from it, in the best way. The noodles are thick, soft and chewy. They slightly remind me of mochi, although they're not sweet. The broth is also subtle, flavorful and a different taste profile from the pho. Everyone enjoyed this dish, especially my little toddler. The sausage was very flavorful, moist, and paired nicely with the sauce (which was slightly spicy). And, the pork belly was the perfect brown color, soft, moist, and decadent. Forgot to take a photo though - too busy digging into the food. We are so glad to discover such a good restaurant!! Vibe is pretty relaxed. Staff was very quick and efficient. All in all, would happily come back to try more dishes.

My cousin thought the Nam Khao Tod was a little sweet. It came with a little piece of lime, but probably wasn't enough lime. I really liked the Nam Khao Tod; it came with lots of veggies. The long bean salad was also pretty good; it tasted and smelled just as how a good papaya salad should. We enjoyed our food, the only problem was we didn't get any service after we received our food. He never once checked up on us once. My cousin bit into a spicy pepper, and drank all of her water. He never came to refill, so she started drinking my water. We had been done for about 15 min, just sitting and talking, waiting for him to come by. I kept picking at my food while I was waiting, even though I was full already. Finally, my cousin went up to him to ask for boxes. Prices are pretty decent. Maybe I'll come back for takeout.
