STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS...after I paid for cross-country vehicle shipping service, they forced me to come pick up the car upon delivery. The pickup driver did not identify himself because he can't speak English, and the delivery driver refused to deliver my car to the destination that we have already agreed upon due to some BS obstacle excuses on the shortest route, and also refuse to take another route without any obstacle that only adds 3 min. to his drive to my destination. When contacting their customer service, she was both useless and unprofessional where she basically just repeats what the driver said, and will hang up on you if you persists for an alternative solution. read more

I recently booked them to ship my car from Atlanta to San Jose California. I was very happy with the process. I had played around with another company for almost a week and half to ship my car - they kept saying we have to negotiate with the driver and I Had to call to get updates. But brothers arrived two days after I booked and arrived exactly the time they said. they driver who picked my car up was nice and throughly inspected it. When it arrived in San Jose, they kept me informed that the times had to be changed due to illness but they found a driver and he called me when he was 30 minutes alway. He handled my car with car and also inspected it throughly with me. No new scratches just bugs on the dash which it was expected since it was on an open trailer.They take cash check or money order. I really don't recommend doing business with these guys Brothers Motors. I left my truck on their territory for repair I closed it and left them the truck key. These guys changed the cylinder on the trailer hydraulic system for a month. Although this can usually be done in 2 hours. When I returned to them, I saw that my truck was robbed, all my documents, quadrocopter, video camera and all my personal belongings were stolen from the truck. I asked the boss of Brothers Motors Service named Alex what happened? Alex replied that they are not responsible for closing the truck even though it's in their possession for repairt stated that is the rules and they are not to blame. Although I left them the key and closed my truck. My truck was open when I arrived and all my belongings were stolen. Alex was rude to me and refuse to show me the cameras no apology and wrote out an invoice for repairs worth more than $ 3,000. Terrible service, I plan to go to court! read more

Okay so the fantastic and charming Igor just came to pick up my car I'm sending to my daughter. This is the first time I've ever used a car shipper. Igor's company partners with the vehicle shipper that i contracted with and if his company is a prequel to how this move is going to go - I'm beyond happy. Igor showed up with this phenomenal attitude and great smile on his face. He walked me thru everything that was going to happen and what to expect. Have you ever met a person that has this vibe that just puts you in a good mood? Makes you forget what you were just mad at? Makes your anxiety disappear? That's Igor. Everything I've been worrying about just lifted away. (There is still a little stress but it's nothing that a pizza won't cure ;) Now I'm not naive. I know things can happen. This is still life. And the car is traveling thru several states. BUT I have a piece of mind as I was left feeling that if something were to happen - things would be worked out. Both companies (the shipping company and Igor's company ) have made me feel comfortable with this first time service for me. Recently ordered a car from Ballwin MO, to Reno NV. The car arrived late. There is damage to the car on and they refuse to take responsibility for the damage. When talking with the dealership that sold the car they reported no damage. When it arrived there is about a nickel size hole in the paint. Tried to file a claim and they aren't accepting responsibility. They haven't been very friendly in terms of customer service. Definitely going to be looking else where for another car delivery service. I would rate 0 stars if I could. read more

ZERO STARS!!! This has to be the worst carrier we have ever dealt with. We have transported many vehicles before. Our vehicle was transported from California to Indiana contracted through a broker. Our car arrived in Indiana and went to pay with my credit card as my companies funds had not cleared my account. They said they did not accept CC payments and stated our vehicle would be sent to a storage facility until we could deposit money into a Chase bank account they provided to me and only then would they disclose the location of our vehicle. I deposited the cash into their account and contacted the owner and she would not let us know the location of our vehicle. She was very rude and hostile with us. We have filed a police report and the company still not hasn't returned our car or our calls. The broker that we booked with even told the owner to let us know the location of our vehicle. Also contacted driver of hauler and he refused to disclose location..basically said she told him not to..and I have to talk to her. This left my family with only one vehicle and in order to have a car to run errands or in case of emergency I have to take & pick up my husband from work. Which has stressed and messed up the sleep of my two toddlers that are already dealing with a 3 hour time change. I would advise too avoid this transportation company. They care less about your vehicle. I wish we'd had looked up complaints against this company. Or broker should have known the complaints against brothers transportation. Stay away from this shady family owned business who cares less about you and your vehicle. read more

I wish I could leave ZERO stars. This company has by far been one of the WORST car shipping experiences in my life. The broker did not tell me that the only payment options are cash or cashiers check so I didn't have cash with me and asked if I could pay by card. The answer was no and by this time the banks are already closed and I cannot pull more than $500 in a day at the ATM. He kept my car and told me in the morning dispatch would call me and tell me where to get my car. They never called the next morning so I called THEM and they told me that my car is at the tow yard and they wont disclose the location until I pay them. I had already taken out the cash from the bank (with no transportation mind you because THEY have my car) so I asked how did she expect me to pay cash when the driver left my car already? She tells me I need to go to Wells Fargo (still don't have a car by the way) and put the money in her account. It sounds fishy to me because I wouldn't have a receipt and once I paid I would have no way to get my money back. I called the broker and voiced my concerns with this company. Waiting on a call back. I have shipped many cars before and this hands down is the worst experience I've ever had. Relocating across country is hard enough without people punishing you for someone else's mistake. Now I am without a car today and I have an interview scheduled. read more

Got stuck with these guys on a subcontract. Communication: Excellent. Pick up: on time. Delivery: on time. Condition: Thousands of dollars of damage. Which they make a real effort to hide with dirt. Auto condition on arrival: unbelievably dirty. Seriously, the only way I could see it possible to get a car this dirty would be to drive it open on salty northern roads surrounded by other semis who are spraying salt the entire way. However, my shipment was in the middle of summer. I really would like to know from a curiosity standpoint how a car could get so filthy in 6 days. One would have to try. I can drive my car for 6 months without washing it and it would be no where near as dirty. I really cannot impress this upon the reader enough. The vehicle is so dirty that it is dangerous to drive, you literally cannot see out of the windows anywhere on the window's surface. Once you spend a day removing the grime, you'll see over 20 scratches on the roof from what appears to be chains. I reserve the right to update this review if they make it right. Bottom line: you're better off driving your car than hiring these guys to damage it for you. read more

I have used Brothers Motors 3 separate times in the last 5 years to ship cars. Two times from Sacramento to Atlanta, then most recently, had original car shipped back to Sacramento from Atlanta. It went smoothly every time, absolutely no problems at all. The drivers, as well as the office staff have always been friendly and professional. I would use them again without question. When you call or go online for a transportation bid they're very up front about pymnt options and the fact there is a fee if you use cc. Feel bad for the 2 customers who had pymnt issues ,seems like that's more of a problem with the broker not passing on the correct information than the company. With all of the horror stories out there involving cross country car transportation, we're grateful that we were able to work with a company that was nothing but friendly, professional and maybe most importantly, reliable! read more

Please take the time to read this. My 3 stars are an average between the ZERO I give to the contracted truck driving company and a 5 I give to Vitaliy for his customer service. Firstly, I booked my transportation at least two weeks in advance and was told that my pick up dates were fine and that a driver would be available. Two days before I am scheduled to leave town (via plane, while my car traveled by ground) I had heard nothing from the broker or driver. I then contacted Vitaliy and he said that I did have a driver coming and he should be there soon (in the early afternoon). He then let me know that the truck would be there between 6 and 9 pm. Fast forward to 930pm, I have not heard from the broker or the driver. The next day when I speak with Vitaliy, he seems surprised that my car had not been picked up. I also received a call at 7 AM from the driver letting me know that he will be there in 5 HOURS. Not sure what the reason is behind calling so early since they were coming to ME. I then received a call at 1PM saying that he was 2 hours away. Okay, that is understandable, traffic jams happen all the time. At 3 pm I still have not heard from the driver so I contacted Vitaliy and let him know what was going on. Again, he seemed surprised since he was under the impression that my car had been picked up earlier. Long story short, after many calls from the truck driver saying "I'm on my way", I did not have my car picked up until 630pm. Then 8 days later, I get a call again at 7 am saying that my car will be dropped off in 6 hours. Again, WHY CALL SO EARLY?? Especially when my car was not even dropped off that day. I was told that the truck was having some mechanical issues, which is fine, those things happen. On this same day, Vitaliy asked me what form of payment I was using (from the beginning I was told they take cash, cashier's check, or credit). I chose cashier's check. Vitaliy asked if I could do cash instead. I did not feel comfortable carrying that much cash on me so I declined. Clearly "cash only" had never been discussed with me. Then the owner of the subcontracted company (truck driver's boss) called me saying that they never accept anything other than cash and the money is needed to put gas in the truck. Okay, why does the driver not have access to money for gas?? I found that to be so weird. I told them that was something that he needed to take up with Brothers Motors since I had always been told I had options up until this day. I then received a call from the driver at 5 pm saying that he was in Texas 11 hours away. He asked if it was okay that he drop my car off "this evening" when he made it to my location. This evening?!?! It would be 4 AM in the morning at the earliest that he would have reached my location. I said he could drop it off first thing at 7 am, because I would not be up to get my car that early. Of course, I received another call the next day at 7 am when he was supposed to be dropping my car off.... he said that he was still in Texas and would be to my location "soon" because he needed to be in South Carolina that night. I seriously did not understand his concept of time... My car got dropped off at 1200 midnight. I almost cried when I saw it up on the truck! I finally had it back! I thought they were going to hold my car hostage until I gave them cash. Heck, they probably did skip my drop off in order to get more cash from other customers. Also, I'm not sure how my seats got so dirty or what they stored in my car while it was in their possession. There was also a scratch in the roof of my car which had not been there before and was not marked on my initial pick up inspection slip. The driver said he would call the next day to give me a location of where I could go get it fixed, but he never did. I see other people have had good experiences with this company. All I can suggest is that you tell them you don't want your car contracted out to the trucker mentioned in this long review. read more
