Chicken Chicken Turkey Bacon & Ranch

I come here everyday after picking up my son from summer camp. We share a slice and I will say it is a very good slice of pizza. The crust is thin and slightly crisp and chewy. The sauce seems simple enough not very over powering and compliments the cheese. We will miss our daily snack stop on the way home.

Good pizza, but very expensive. You going to charge $5 for a chicken slice, at least use the profit to fix this place up. It's dirty and decor is out of date. Clean the windows, the rug and the bathroom.

Good food, very reasonable prices and courteous staff. If you are looking for a solid pizza in Brooklyn go in and give them a try. Not sure why so many negative reviews. We would definitely eat here again.

Spinach Roll and Chicken Roll w/ complimentary marinara sauce. Delicious delivery! Great price! The rolls are doughy with a bit of crunch.

First time eating from here. Ordered a spinach roll and chicken roll for delivery. They were fast. The prices were great. I was skeptical because of some of the Yelp reviews, but I guess people are more inclined to complain than compliment. The rolls tasted amazing! Hit the spot. Fulfilled our craving. Nice and doughy with a bit of crunch. The inside was (especially for the chicken roll) a great ratio of chicken, cheese, sauce, and breading. We were also pleasantly surprised about the side of marinara per roll! We didn't request it or mention it, either. Thanks! 10/10 would recommend and order again.

I ordered yesterday crushed tomatoes pie, small through their app (they gave me 10% off, thank you, really nice!). Delivery was fast, pizza came maybe a bit cooler than I expected BUT! It was soooo delicious, so flavored, juicy in a right way and crispy! Perfect balance of everything! I ate a half of it and was about to die with pleasure. Definitely recommend. Will try smth else 4sure. Thanks!

This place is dirty all workers/owners also own cammiconstruction which they work before going to the pizza joint and put their dirty hands all over your food. Soda has dirt and for know what all over it. Their nails have gunk under them like they just dug a hole in mud with them. I would not order from here. There food sits out all day under lights that do not keep it to temp. Chicken and all. I suggest you don't order from them dirty joint. Burnt spicy parm hero

Buffalo chicken topping. Was hard and tasted old. Couldnt eat !

Cash only, BYOB (with rules depending on how many people), and a time limit on the table. Know what you want when you sit down. Menu is easy, pizza, calzones, sometimes pasta. Simple. Is it worth waiting in line for - maybe - if you have 2-3 hours free and nothing else to do and it's a nice day, sure. But honestly can't say I am running back to do it again. Waiting in line to get added to a waitlist that still doesn't always guarantee you will sit down to eat at the requested time - we were seated 40 mins after checking in (unusually long, never had more then 20 mins or so in past visits) but still a strange system, keeps the spot exclusive I'd guess. Have visited several times and always have had a good meal and the prices are very fair. Seating is not super comfortable and they pack you in for real, the restaurant is also unnecessarily dark and loud - But not in a bad way? I can't explain it but the very delicious pizza makes up for the weird ambiance and all the rules... definitely something to experience atleast once.

Thick, cheesy, saucy, crispy around the edges, and just completely different from a regular slice of pizza. This is the thing I'm coming here for first. Then there are the homemade frozen treats. I've had both the Italian ices and the ice cream, in more flavors than I can even remember at this point, and I genuinely can't tell you which one I like better. Every time I think I've picked a favorite, I try another flavor and change my mind. LOL. There's something very old-school Brooklyn about the whole experience too. It's not trying to be trendy or reinvent itself. It knows exactly what it is, and that's part of why people keep coming back. Give me a Sicilian slice and something frozen afterward and I'm happy.

Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered a glass of wine, a beer, an arugula salad, and our main food order. Everything started out fine, and the salad came without a problem. But then we waited. And waited. About 30 minutes after we had ordered, I asked our waiter where our food was. He apologized and admitted that he had forgotten to put the order in. By that point, we had already watched other tables receive their food, including people who had arrived well after us. We continued waiting, and after roughly 40 minutes or more, our food still had not arrived. At that point, the dining experience was already ruined and we decided to leave. Ironically, just as we were getting ready to go, the food finally started coming out. I told them we no longer wanted it. The waiter did apologize again and offered us a pizza to take with us, which I assume was complimentary, but by then we were simply ready to leave. Even paying the bill became unnecessarily drawn out. We were charged the full amount for the salad, beer, and wine. I sat with a $50 bill ready to pay, was handed the check, and then ended up standing around for another five minutes waiting for someone to actually take the money. There was no apology from the person handling the payment. I understand that mistakes happen, and I appreciated that our waiter admitted he had forgotten to place the order. But when a restaurant makes that kind of mistake, the recovery matters. After waiting that long, watching later-arriving customers get served, and then having difficulty simply paying and leaving, an apology and a pizza at the very end didn't really fix the experience. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I can't say the service lived up to the restaurant's reputation.

I've eaten here, come to the Bushwick Block Party to see Action Bronson perform, and spent enough time around Tiki Disco to associate the place with a particularly inventive, free-spirited period in the neighborhood. The dining area still has that wonderfully idiosyncratic character: exposed beams, communal tables, mismatched details, and an open kitchen turning out genuinely excellent pizza. What impresses me most is how naturally Roberta's became more than a restaurant. Food, music, parties, outdoor spaces, and an extraordinary mix of people all seemed to converge here, giving the place a cultural gravity that could never have been designed by committee. It remains one of those places that instantly takes me back to my bachelor years and an especially fun chapter of my time in the city, when Bushwick felt endlessly creative, and Roberta's seemed to sit comfortably at its center. Got a TGTG order here. 11/10 I'd do it again…read more Brooklyn DOP actually originated as a pandemic business where my friend's personal trainer started baking pizzas outside of his Greenwood Heights apartment. When the hype got large enough, the owner decided to start a pizzeria and the rest is not history. This is one of the more worthwhile TGTG orders to me. Their pizza is SOOO perfectly crisp and charred, and actually is one of the closest pizzas that reminds me of the famous originals in Napoli.

Brooklyn DOP is a prime example of what happens when a pandemic lockdown, a dough obsession, and an…read moreinability to sit still all collide. We visited as a stop on Scott's Pizza Bus Tour, which meant we were actively evaluating it against some of the best pizza in the city. Evaluating pizza on a tour is tricky because excellence becomes relative when you are eating multiple high-end pies in a single afternoon. According to Scott, Brooklyn DOP began in founder Thomas Ardito's apartment during the 2020 lockdowns. With his primary work on pause, he started baking pizza and selling pies through Instagram to pay his rent. People kept ordering. His friend Jason D'Amelio joined the effort, and what started as an apartment project turned into pop-ups and eventually a brick-and-mortar shop on 5th Avenue in Park Slope. That is a considerably more compelling origin story than a corporate franchise business plan. The setup in Park Slope includes a quiet back courtyard, which offered a comfortable spot for our group to sit, eat, and recover between stops. It feels relaxed and distinctly Brooklyn without trying too hard to remind you where you are. The pizza itself is very good. The crust strikes a proper balance between a crisp bottom and a chewy interior. The toppings are handled with care, from the crushed tomatoes to the fresh mozzarella. This is dough crafted by people who take fermentation seriously rather than relying on pre-packaged shortcuts. On its own merits, the pizza is a solid 4.5 stars. Unfortunately for Brooklyn DOP, it was competing on a tour against places operating on another plane. It is an excellent pie, but it was not the single slice that caused the entire tour to fall silent in collective awe. Still, that is an aggressive standard to hold against any local shop. Brooklyn DOP offers a great courtyard, a serious approach to dough, and a standout product. Landing just shy of five stars says far more about the sheer volume of elite pizza we ate that day than it does about the shop itself. Four stars. And if you are not spending the afternoon riding around New York with Scott Wiener eating pizza at some of the finest pizza joints the 5 boroughs have to offer, you can probably bump that half-star back up.
