Excellent Italian restaurant. It's got a nice old style appearance and vibe to it. Food is very good.

Came here with the family for dinner before they went on vacation for 2 weeks, lol. Had previously been to Brothers Trattoria in Beacon, but this one in Poughquag was closer to my fam's house, so it was more convenient. It's in a small plaza and looks small but there's plenty of seating inside. We were promptly seated and read the specials of the night. Besides bottles of wine, we tried the pasta carbonara, Cajun chicken pasta, and the veal di nori. Everything was very tasty. For dessert, we got the pistachio cake and tartufo. Yummyyyy!!!! It was a lovely night. Definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

I love eating here. My favorite dish is the hot and spicy shrimp with the crostini . I go to that restaurant just for that as a matter of fact, I'm gonna see if I can go by today and maybe order it as a dish I'm assuming it would be the shrimp fried Diablo I'm expecting the same kind of sauce, but I'll definitely leave a review on a picture on how it looks. read more

It's a tough night to go out to dinner on Christmas Eve. My wife's Entree of Baked Cod wasn't cooked all the way it took a long time so she told them not to prepare another. They did credit us for her dinner but I was disappointed that a manager didn't come to our table. read more

Better than most places down in the city! This wonderfully Albanian run Italian restaurant has incredible specials along with everything else on the menu. Ive been at least 10 times and each time I tried something new, each time it was top of the line quality food, delicious and excellent service from the young staff. They run this shop so well! I've been working at Brothers Trattoria for the last 10 years. It's a small family owned business with amazing food. I've always been treated like family by the owner and his kids. This spot truly is a hidden gem in Poughquag. Service is typically quick the restaurant is clean and everyone truly cares about their customers. Leaving to get a full time job was truly the hardest because it felt like I was leaving behind a family. I truly enjoyed going to work and serving my customers. read more

Their food is good 99% of the time! A few times the eggplant has been not the best but overall the food is pretty consistently good and the owner is very friendly! Would def recommend. Only thing I'm not the biggest fan of is no delivery and being closed 1 day a week. People def deserve days off but I think a rotating schedule would be more beneficial rather than closing. I've been told by a few friends about this restaurant. Finally got a chance to try it last night. Everything was excellent. Fried calamari was cooked perfectly. Nice that a salad comes with the meal. I had rigatoni carbonara and my son had the chicken parmesan. Plenty of food, tasted great and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back. read more

Ordered a gluten free pizza margarita style. Girl ran me up and it was $19. And change, almost $20?!?! I asked how much a a gf pie was he said $14, I said the menu says $13 and how am I paying $6 for what's on it? A regular pie already has sauce and cheese so that should be free so I paid $6 for tomato slices and a little basil?! He said it was what it was. I told him I wouldn't be back and he said you don't have to. I told them It was highway robbery and id yelp them and his wife laughed at me. He was rude and so was she. Thin, small and worth about $5. Rip off. There are 3 other pizza shops in a 1 mile radius. Don't waste your time coming here. I am a customer as well as a cleaning service that the restaurant hires to keeps their hood and exhaust system clean of grease. Cleaning their hoods allows me to not only see the outside but the inside as well. They do a great job at keeping the kitchen tidy and clean as well as preserving the food in a manor that is up to code. I truly enjoyed having lunch at Brothers trattoria. I found it in our local buzz magazine. It was raining so we had to eat inside. I felt safe and comfortable. easily the best chicken parm wedges in the area. we get a sicilian pie and chick parm wedges a couple times a month and i am always so blown away. we have lived in the area for 14 years and we have tried all of the other pizza places. some others are pretty good too, but BT is consistantly great. We havent done their dinners yet, probably because I live so close that it doesn't seem like "going out". reading other reviews, they probably are a little higher priced though. I have many great things to say about this restaurant. It's clean, fairly priced, healthy portions and the staff is friendly. Our server was attentive and always smiling. The food is wonderful and one of the closest to authentic home made Italian in this area. Most importantly We did not feel rushed or pushed out of the door because they were very busy. I don't think they cared if we stayed until closing! Even if they dod want us out they didn't make us feel that way. I also love the choice of bottles of wine that are inclusive of some of the meals. I went here last night with my friends for a birthday. The moment we walked in we were judged. The hostess looked us up and down asked if we had a reservation which is weird for a pizza place especially since it wasn't busy at all, but whatever. When we said no she looked at us again before slowly grabbing menus and walked us slowly to our table. After that she would not stop staring at us for the entire time we were there.
