I am VERY picky about my thick full eyebrows, and she seems to be the only person in the OC that knows how to do them flawlessly. She takes her time and cares about not pulling your skin, she is the first person that taught me the importance of stretching your skin a certain way while getting threaded. I have never left this place disappointed!!! My eyebrows always look on point- some may even say "fleek" when I come here. The ladies are so friendly and sweet. They also have an iPad tablet thing you check in on which gives/stores points every time you check in! After 10 points you get a free threading. So no more stamp cards! Everything is electronic! I am a regular for threading here. However, today, I tried the facial from Gayatri and was very disappointed.She did not do exfoliation. She massaged my face very dry and no or very little liquid/moisturizer/product in her hand.Extraction of black/white heads was done only on the nose. That is not a true 'whole facial' like they call it. Not going back for a facial there and would not recommend to anyone either.Better facials are available in Irvine and surroundings. read more

Went for the first time today and had a great experience. I have gone to Ziba's in costa mesa, redondo beach, and the west side and moved to Irvine a few months back. When I moved back to the OC, I went to the Ziba's by Southcoast and went to Vinita's and I have to say Nisha at Brow Mantra is way better than any of the other ladies who did my eye brows in those 2 places. She was fast hence not too painful. I told her my skin in sensitive and I hate when the beauticians thread my brows slowly, I can feel every hair being yanked from my brows and upper lip. She said that some clients prefer it slower and some don't, I told her I definitely don't and she totally catered to me. She was also super friendly and very gracious when I tipped her. This place is the closes to my house so I'm very glad that I found someone who is more on my level, yay! read more

I walked in and was kindly greeted. There was no line (which was awesome!!!) I asked for Nisha from all the wonderful things I read about her which are very true! Nisha was great and very meticulous. I got my eyebrows threaded by a new, young woman. I had eyebrow makeup on but she said she would just leave it so she could follow the shape of my brows. She was slow, but I didn't mind because I thought that meant she was being very careful. She ended up pulling some hair that created a gap, and when I noticed it, she suggested right away that it would be okay because I could put eyebrow makeup on it... Yes, that's true, but I did not even get an apology for it. The woman at the register noticed and apologized for it but I was still charged full price. Overall, I'm unhappy with my experience here and I am upset that I now have uneven eyebrows. read more

False advertising, they said full facial would be one hour of service, but they wrapped it up in only 40 minutes, not worth paying $50 for the facial. When I told about being dissatisfied about the service, they threatened to call police on me. Total unexpected and unprofessional behavior. The front desk person is very impolite and arrogant. Never go to this place, they don't listen to customer grievances and won't help you out. I would have given 0 star rating if that option was available. read more

I got cut under my brow by the threading lady and she refused to take responsibility for the incident and refund my money. I normally see Dimples to get my brows done but she was off today so I went with someone else. Big mistake, because now I have no desire of ever returning to this place. The girl who did my brows was courteous and worked quickly. However, when I got to my car and looked in the mirror, I was surprised to see a cut under my right brow that was bleeding. I went back in to tell her and she acknowledged that she could see the cut but evaded taking responsibility for it. She kept saying " I'm sorry" and "I won't say that I didn't have a part in it," but suggested that it could have been my nail when I was holding my lid and recommended using ointment to heal it. After expressing my dissatisfaction with her service, she called her manager and offered me a coupon for my next visit but would not refund my money because the service was already performed. Clearly they have no intention of fixing the damage they've done to my face. Highly disappointed by their excuses and lame customer service. read more

I saw Mohammed to get my eyebrows threaded today, and he exceeded my expectations. He not only took the extra time to get every stray hair, but he explained to me how my eyebrows were a tad asymmetrical and then proceeded to fix them. Throughout the threading process, he made sure to ask if I was liking how they looked/any adjustments I'd like to make, which I found very helpful. I am the absolute worst when it comes to the up keep of my brows. I've been coming back to Brow Mantra since my first review and they are always so kind. Even when I am "ouching" the whole time due to the neglect of my brows. Don't go past 3-4 weeks and you should be ok. I work a few stores away from this place and was in dire need of getting my eyebrows done. I asked the lady to clean up my brows and make them more arch. I usually go to Hollywood Eyebrow at Westminster Mall but they usually give me rainbow eyebrows. It took less than ten minutes. I will be coming back! read more

I went here the night before thanksgiving because my brows were superrrrr bushy and no where else was open. The reviews were good, it was right in front of me in the shopping center i was already at, and again.. They were open! Im so glad i came. My eyebrows are super thick and grow so fast that i need to get them done every week! I know, i know... so many people envy thick brows but ughhhh it can be a pain in the azz! I usually go to my normal eyebrow stylist tam at diva salon every 2 weeks and just hibernate in between when my brows grow in, but now I will likely make this the place i visit for my weekly shapings / cleanups because they only charge $9 for brows, And once a month ill still visit my usual eyebrow stylist, Tam at diva salon, for serious shape maintenance. But i couldn't very well make this my regular salon as she did an awesome job shaping my huge brows. I dont know her name but she has glasses, worked at station 3, and was soooo sweet! I usually come here to get my eyebrows done since it is so close by. I am thankful that I have a good eyebrow threading near me since I know it can be challenging and difficult to find the right place. The women who work here are exceptionally genuine towards me and appreciate the business they receive. They are easy to talk to and get along with unlike some eyebrow places where it may be uncomfortable. They are open most of the time so it is efficient and easy to swing by for a quick ten minutes to freshen up your brows! read more

I used to be a regular customer here because this place is close to my school and offers student discount. However, this time the service disappointed me! Customer service was terrible. During the threading, the way the lady communicated with me was really unfriendly and impolite. The ladies here were always like that in the past. This time, it was worse. After she was done with shaping my eyebrows, I looked at the mirror and my browns were totally uneven. So I asked her to remove some eyebrow hairs above the brow. And she acted like she was not happy to do it. I caught her shaking her head through the mirror when I was looking at my eyebrows. Totally disappointed with the service and how my brows came out. You can see in the picture how bad they look. They look worse now than what I came in with! I have high tolerance for bad service. I don't care that much if my brows come out good and the price is decent. But this time, both the performed job and customer service were terrible. The money I spent was not worth it. Came here for the first time. Not sure it was Bc of the technician but they did a horrible job for the price I paid. I got my full face threaded for $40 dollars... Not a deal. I've been getting this don for the past five years and think this was the 2nd worst job I've received. The lady was so quick. It took her less than 10mins to do my full face even after I asked her to go over my lip and chin again Bc you definitely missed a lot of hair. She was definitely trying to rush and then had the audacity to stand by while I was paying so she could get a tip. Will not come here again or at least see the same specialists. Not sure why everyone else's gives good reviews... Maybe there's a better technician but the one had couldn't cut it. read more

Went here for the first time and it was wonderful! The staff was so inviting and friendly. The place was very clean as well. There was hardly anyone when I went (Sunday afternoon) so being a walk in was not a problem. They did an excellent job on my eyebrows and they even have a stamp system that allows you to get money off on future visits. Definitely will be coming back! read more

Really bummed. I needed my brows cleaned so bad and was hoping for some good service and a job well done. I got neither. The lady that took me was very short and looked so annoyed that someone was there and she actually had to work. She took all of 2 minutes on my brows, and the fact that I'm now sitting at home and plucking and trimming my brows on my own is a reflection of that. Red flag #1 was when I mentioned to her that I had makeup on because I came from work and she said that's fine but didn't wipe it off before she began the way EVERY OTHER BROW SALON I'VE BEEN TO HAS. Red flag number #2 was when she took maybe 3 swipes on the first brow and then went either to the other. And red flag #3 was when she trimmed my hairs with the small scissors and didn't do the top half, which to me is the most important to finish off the service. I was so confused because I've been getting my brows down for years and at several different establishments and NEVER has someone rushed me out that way. We came in one hour before they closed so it wasn't like I walked in 5 minutes prior. My brows look almost exactly the way they looked when I walked in. The only reason I gave 1 star is because my friend had her brows down at the exact same time and that technician took twice as long, was very friendly, and my friend's brows looked great! Basically the opposite of my experience. I definitely won't be going back. read more
