Many people hanging out, parking seems confusing but don't worry it is all worth it. For parking, there's valet and they run on tips. Our wait for a party of 9 on a Saturday was 35 minutes. Not bad. We came to this place to celebrate my little brother's birthday, the way they sing happy birthday was so cute. Bubbles and all! Overall the food was pretty good, usual breakfast/ brunch food. We were a party of 9 and my dad paid the tab. On the receipt it said GRATUITY $47.70 that was already included, $18.22 tax, & $10 CARD FEE. The total came out to $341 (cool, we had no problem with this. We ate good, had a good experience) the problem came when we paid the waitress underlined the gratuity?? It was clearly already included but my dad did still leave her some cash. She instead went to the back and you can tell she wasn't happy?? She was talking sh** to who I assume is her boss and they were looking at us crazy when we were leaving. It was so weird, we're from DC so trust we know BUT when gratuity is clearly INCLUDED how dare you be upset when we decide to still leave you cash but not the amount YOU underlined?! They have a large selection of pancake offerings with a variety of toppings ranging from fresh fruit, chocolate sauce, nuts and in pretty much every combination available. If you aren't a fan of pancakes they offer other breakfast and brunch options. The banana French toast was also delicious. The coffee is also really good! I would say the only downside to this place is the parking situation. If you come when it's busy and the valet has cars lined up out of the parking lot they make you keep circling and it's basically a game of roulette to see if you get in. If this happens, I would advise sending someone from your car to go in and get on the waiting list to save some time. Where do I start when reviewing this restaurant??? First of all bring your appetites. Everything about this place is HUGE from their portion sizes to their delectable milkshakes. My family and I went there on a weekday early afternoon. After looking thru the menu which is huge (which should have been our first clue) we finally ordered. I knew I wanted a milkshake and chose not to get pancakes in order to not be too full so I ordered a tuna melt. The melt was open faced and delicious. It's served with fries that were nice and hot. I could only eat half of it. I then had the strawberry cheesecake milkshake. OMG it was heaven in a glass! It comes with a slice of cake actually in the glass - sprinkles all around the glass and strawberry ice cream and whipped cream - the only word to describe it is delightful. My son had a chocolate concoction - I forgot the name but it had a HUGE slice of chocolate cake inside the glass as well. I also want to say that our waitress was wonderful - she came over to check on us often and even had conversations with us - she made a great experience even better. We walked out of there full and happy and we will definitely be back. I don't mind a long wait for a good brunch, but this place is highly overrated. We were seated in the crowded restaurant, couldn't even hear each other talking about the table with the speakers blasting. It took the waiter (who was extremely polite and nice) 13 minutes to come and introduce themselves and then leave. Another 22 minutes before they came back to take our order. Another 17 minutes for drinks, just coffee and juice!!! Then our meals came at 2pm, after we had been seated at 12:40pm. The food wasn't even that great, mediocre at best. I had an eggs Benedict and it was served with lukewarm, flavorless grits. I added for cheese and the waiter returned with what looked like 3 American cheese slices of cheese. I went to use the bathroom and the ceiling is missing tiles, the toilet paper is a large roll that is supposed to be hung on some sort of contraption, but it was broken. The entire bathroom was disgusting, the toilets don't look like they've been cleaned in weeks. The walls were stained, absolutely foul. The restaurant was also lacking in appearance, there is a small section where you look up and the decorations reflect what should be on the ground, it's cool. But the other side of the restaurant has patches on the walls where they were spackle was put there and never painted. My feet stuck to the floor, the table was full of crumbs when we sat down. Once is enough here. The wait wasn't worth it and honestly, just a dirty place. Wouldn't recommend, maybe the Brick location is cleaner and better kept. read more

Valet parking for a diner is not common but nothing about this place is common. the decor is modern with flair and elegance if that makes any sense. so three of us came for breakfast and tried 3 different things an omelette, French toast, and pancakes. the omelette was a lox onion and eggs stuffed with cream cheese. the overall presentation was beautiful. the plate was enough for to people. it's served with red skinned potatoes which were excellent and a new York style bagel (or Toast or a croissant) French toast was a deeper fried challah French toast with berries and a cream sauce. The challah French toast was fried to perfection with a nice moist inside. the first bite it was like you were eating a zeopple and all it needed was powdered sugar and cinnamon pancakes were a chocolate and peanut butter chip served with bananas and whipped cream with peanut butter and chocolate drizzle. pancakes were cooked to a golden brown outside and nice and moist and soft on the inside. we did not have it but the hand spun shakes looked amazing. service was attentive and turn over quick. this is defiantly a reason to come to new Jersey!!!! read more

Parking is a bust, it was a party of 5 with kids and the place was full , the lines were horrendous but at least I was able to put my name down. It was so smoky inside especially when there was so many birthday's that day and the crew came out singing almost every other table , singing and blowing bubbles and half the time we couldn't find a waiter to assist us, to order or bring the check. A couple said down across from us, and after 10 mins they even left because no one was around to take their order. But they were around to sing happy birthday to the adjacent table. Because of that and their well documented menu items on their social media pages, the place appears to be pretty busy all the time, so be expected to wait a little to be attended to. Once we got seated, we were greeted by the server promptly and frequently. The bf and I both knew that we wouldn't be able to finish our meals, going in, so we decided to at least split and try one of their crazy milkshakes. I got their Downtown Pancake Wrap, while the bf got an order of their blueberry pancakes along with a side of eggs and bacon. We also shared one of their Fruity Pebbles waffle shake. The portions are very generous here, but truth be told, I found things a little rich and heavy and almost one-note at times. I also didn't like their syrup for the pancakes. Food is always well presented and delicious. Service for the most part is good. Tho there are times where the server will take way to long to check up and see if you need a cup of coffee which sucks sometimes especially if you are the only one being served at the time. The vibes are different. Has a very interesting theme going on. I had their dessert once and honestly after that one time I kind of am not that interested in trying anything else. I had requested a chocolate Oreo cake for my brothers birthday. Thankfully it was just a slice that I purchased but it honestly tasted like BJs Wholesale cake and I was deff turned off by that. It got to the point she was just going down the list and moving people in. Moving forward, the inside of this place for it to be located in an upscale neighborhood it looks horrendous. The most dirtiest bathroom I have seen. This disappointed me even more wonder how those same worker use the same bathroom un such condition and cook the customers food!! We ordered and did not get our food until 2:30pm!!! The waiter was inattentive highly irritated due to the amount of people and table he probably had on that day. I had to tell him to bring coffee and drinks to the table 3 times having us wait everytime attended a table. while we read the menu When the food finally arrived (45 minutes later!!!) The blueberries were pretty fresh at least....Could of us couldn't help but notice the fresh squeezed orange juice because when the lady was putting the orange into the machine, she didn't even take sticker on the peel off. I am not sure if that matters or not....but that just seemed unsanitary. This place also doesn't split your check for you. You can split it down the middle but if you want to pay for the food that you ate, you have to calculate it yourself and let the cashier know.....I understand that it was busy in there but the cashier didn't have to tell me to move to the side and calculate my food in such a rude way. My "garden omelet" was dry, broccoli wasnt cooked, it was more like a fritata and i ordered swiss cheese but they deff were skimp on it. also this came with toast (which i thought was weird) and homefries. Really, really awesome place but what a scene! I've frequented many restaurants that have been crowded but this place raises the bar considerably. The valet line to get in the parking lot can stretch 10 or more cars down River Rd while staff frantically tries to move it along as fast as possible. Once inside you're treated to a visually appealing modernistic rustic look with food that is literally amazing. I ordered the chicken with waffles (see accompanying pic) and was blown away. Just the right amount of sweet, crunch and spice served in massive portion. Both components were artfully prepared and delicious. Lucky for me almost everyone in our large party ordered something different and again, without exception, it was all amazing. Prices were reasonable, especially given the quantity and quality of the food. And although they were beyond busy, service was attentive and polite. If you're in the area and even if you're not, I can't think of a better choice for breakfast. Just be prepared for a long line to get in and a wait. If neither of those things bother you, I strongly recommend giving them a try. You won't be sorry. If it was my place I'd consider adding a level or two. I'm sure they'd fill it with ease. I think all this place needed was a little time to settle in. My food was hot and tasty. Service was good for a crowded Sunday morning. I had the banana walnut pancakes that were very good. I wish the pancakes were stuffed with more bananas though for a powerful banana taste! The serving was gigantic...have some up to my mom and also got to have breakfast for a few more days! The atmosphere is very nice too- a lot going on. They have a juice bar in the front and the restaurant is bustling in the back. Also, bring your kids on Sunday mornings! If presentation were a little better, or say the packaging was somewhat cuter or neater at the least, I would have given this experience 5 stars. However what I have come to find instead upon a 30 min delivery wait was a poorly packaged açaí meal compacted into a pint soup container, mushing all the ingredients together, boo :( To my somewhat salvaged delight, the granola was still crunchy and despite the lack of good looks, the bowl was actually tasty and filling. I like to eat these before the gym because it's fast, but healthy complex carbs, and also, no feelings of wanting to throw up as you typically would if you sat down and had a whole meal of protein before heading on to the gym. For those who eat this as a dessert, I don't see why not. Seems healthier than a cheesecake to me, given it's made of mostly bananas and açaí purée. The owners might want her to be placed in charge of onboarding and training all future staff. Atmospheres was great service was beyond excellent.
