The only reason why it wasn't 5 stars is because of the following: Cash only, and machine charges a $2 fee No reservations, sometimes quite a wait But, there are many pros! I picked this place based upon Yelp reviews alone when looking for a brunch place to kill time while I was in Millstone.. I'm glad that I did! There is on street parking that is metered, but I found out after we'd already paid that there is a free lot across the street. There was a wait (it was a Sunday), but we were able to be seated immediately at the counter, which was a nice, old-school experience that I appreciated. Service was friendly and efficient. But, the majority of the stars is from how delicious my food was! And to me, that is most important... lol. I ordered the French benny... a twist on the traditional eggs benedict, served on a croissant... the ham was shaved and magnificent, and the hollandaise was some of the best I've had. It was sooooo good. It was not on the regular menu, so PLEASE keep it as a special. My mom loved her ROB omelet.. with red onion, bacon, and Swiss cheese? A little disappointed in my Belgian waffle which was oddly dry upon serving... and it got worse when I tried to reheat it at home.. so that was a waste of money. But, I will indeed be back!

My husband and I came here randomly. Space is cute and very homey. This place gives a "everyone knows your name" vibe. Not sure our waitresses name but she was adorable and very funny. Supperrr attentive. I wish all waitresses were like here. My husband ordered the "down towner" - cam with pancakes, eggs, a sausage patty, and bacon. He also had a side of home fries. This was great and the pancakes - OMG. Too die for!!! I order the eggs Benedict. This was spectacular. It came with a side of home fries as well and they were great! Prices were very decent for the portion you get. Everything tasted fresh and cooked perfectly. Come as early as you can, there's not alot of seating and it gets packed fast. One other thing is this place is CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM at the back if you need to take money out. Great place to go! We will definitely be coming back!!

Second time we went to Sweet Lew's for breakfast. I have tried the egg benedict and buttermilk pancake (short stack) with some strawberries. Both were delicious and filling enough for me. The service was quick enough. Ambiance was welcoming and cosy. There is outdoor seating.

Emi our waitress is absolutely adorable. Helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are good. Selection vast. Specials special. Ambiance is very nice. Lots of local nostalgia. Clean. Only breakfast served on weekends. Fried are amazing. No ketchup needed. Plus mushrooms = BONUS! Bread perfectly toasted. Pancakes are very good. Busy. Must be good. The food is delish. A 5 star all the way. Bringing half the cheesesteak home for tomorrow. Fries gone!!

Amazing breakfast place with a great menu! I absolutely fell in love with this place the moment I walked in. A small quaint brunch spot that felt very homey. We walked in and were allowed to pick a table we were most comfortable with. Our server was not only friendly, she was so funny. After a long drive from Long Island this was exactly what we needed. The menu had a bit of everything from delicious looking omelettes to, my favorite, breakfast sandwiches. I ended up getting the "Big Dawg" breakfast sandwich which had scrambled eggs, ham, home fries, cheddar cheese, a dash of hot sauce and Dijon Mahon on a multi-grain roll. It was so tasty! The rest of my party ordered different omelettes. Boy did they not skimp on the eggs. We all enjoyed a nice fulfilling breakfast. Our food came out quickly but we were also not rushed out. I look forward to trying this place again when I come back to town. Tip: Cash only!

Chocolate chip pancakes were amazing but you have to eat them there! I got to go and they dried up a bit.

The mini pancakes were so fresh, warm and fluffy while the s'mores toppings of chocolate sauce, graham cracker crumble and toasted marshmallow were great additions. It was super quick to order and the lady was able to whip it up fairly quickly. They also do provide options to make your own as well! Although they don't provide seating directly, there are some table and chairs available right next to it that you can use to enjoy the fresh pancakes! It's located within an intersection of the mall so there's ample room! If you're craving something sweet, definitely check them out!

I had grabbed lunch before this so having this hit the spot for my sweet tooth. I ordered the s'mores and my friend grabbed the signature(bacon & brown sugar). Boy, these were so so good! I think the pancakes were fresh, fluffy, and moist, perfectly dressed with the fixin's. It is located in the mall lower level so be prepared to use the directory. Highly recommend as grab-and-go dessert snack for after lunch. The staff was super helpful as well and patient with all my questions.

Walking in felt like going to a carnival--bright, lively, and full of energy. I initially expected a simple diner, but I quickly realized it's much more; there are so many menu options that it was actually a bit overwhelming in the best way. My daughter ordered an iced vanilla latte along with a California omelette, which came with breakfast potatoes. I had a regular coffee and a croissant sandwich with bacon, ham, and cheese. They also have a great kids' menu. My granddaughter had a blueberry pancake with scrambled eggs on the side, and she absolutely loved it. The service was fantastic--our server was very attentive throughout our visit. The ambiance was also perfect for a mid-Friday morning: lively but still comfortable. Overall, a great first visit, and I can see why my daughter enjoys coming here so often.

Definitely not 90 mins.. My daughter just had to have Brownstone. The worst part of the wait was their system. They do not notify you by text or restaurant pager. They come to the door and yell out a name. If you miss hearing your name or they mispronounced your name, they pass you by. That's crazy considering the amount of names they get and the house doesn't pronounce it correctly The food: All of our order was VERY good. Only complaint. My skirt steak was cooked well, not medium well. But it was not over cooked. Was still tender and delicious. If you can't tell by all the photos. We took a lot of food home. The waitress was really attentive. But it looked like all the staff was attentive. Not over bearing at all. Super busy place. And they only take 1st come, 1st call. But make a waiting list as it gets crowded. The seating was a little tight. And that was throughout the place. Nice menu selections. So we'll be back to try few other items. Clean restrooms which are a plus for me. DEFINITELY would recommend this place.

Very cool that Venue 618 was the only NJ restaurant to make the recent Yelp Top 100 restaurants in the US. Sitting at the bar, we were served by Zoey, Steve, and Mike. They've re-done their cocktail menu to include beautiful color illustrations. I enjoyed "One in a Melon," a well-balanced whiskey cocktail with Frank August small batch bourbon, melon, poblano pepper, Aperol, and lime. This was followed by a tasty whiskey sour. My wife ordered a Lemon Drop martini, followed by a decadent chocolate-pistachio dessert martini. All of the cocktails were well-balanced and delicious. On the food side, I munched on a baked macaroni & cheese with chorizo. It was perfect! The Death of Hospitality brand thrives on personalization and unexpected surprises. Mixologist Steve, realizing that I'm a whiskey afficionado, surprised me with a small pour of Rock Hill Farms Single Barrel bourbon. This is a difficult bottle to find in New Jersey. Rock Hill Farms was incredible, with a super long finish. Thanks for the memories 618!

These ladies never stopped moving and made each guest feel like they were the only ones in the room at times. Some people at my table were ok with their items but my family didn't particularly enjoy theirs. I tried the ribeye cheesesteak which was pretty bland. My wife tried th Tuscan Caesar wrap. I had a bite of hers and it was also very bland. The Caesar dressing is a vinaigrette dressing which isn't ideal for a Caesar wrap and in this instance confirmed that. The French fries were just ok. It was more breading than anything. The water however was fresh. Maybe not the most important thing but surprisingly good for a restaurant. Folks in my party also order several margaritas which they advised were just mid. They didn't really taste any of the top shelf tequila they paid additionally. All in all it's a convenient place to sit and eat before or after having to take the kids to play in the gaming area for the day. Great service, but mid food.

Luckily happy hour just started and margaritas were only $9. I saw on the menu they now changed the verbiage for the poke bowls and adjusted it to raw vs cooked. I decided to order a poke bowl again and I'm very glad I did. I chose lettuce as my base as I had a very heavy lunch earlier in the day. The dressing I chose was the sesame dressing. It was light and not too overpowering, you get a lot of fresh salmon. Honestly was a great improvement from the last time. Additionally, service was better this time around.
