I don't necessarily have a recommendation of what to get here but might suggest onion rings over fries. Get your burger without pink and would error in making your own over the ones already concocted but really our entire group said each of the burgers were good. The appetizers are generous. Totally recommend the soft pretzels! They're warm and delicious. The cheese that comes with it is a little watery? Too liquid-y for the consistency. The spicy mustard has a great kick that will clear your sinuses. We thought of getting another pretzel, but we knew we had to save room for the rest of the meal. The onion rings are huge! They are good, but the breading was too much dough for me personally. The sauce that it came with reminded me of a mix of salsa and ketchup. BDubs still has the best onion rings in my opinion with a Southwestern sauce that pairs nicely with it. The burgers fill you up and you gotta pace yourself when eating it. The Provençal had a nice flavor with the goat cheese and red onions. It was missing a fresh component like spinach or something to balance out the overall taste of burger though. The Vikings Lamb burger was well-cooked. The tomato, lettuce and onions complemented the meat well. The person who ordered it had no complaints. The classic Bru burger looked the best. It was very juicy. It had everything you would want: cheese, lettuce, bacon, etc. It was very much enjoyed and would recommend it to anyone who comes to try out the restaurant. This seems to be a staple location that co-workers come to for group dinners and I was able to experience it on a recent work trip. Service was extremely slow during our visit, and I was never able to order a drink. Good thing water was already on the table. I asked the bartender for an extra side and she begrudgingly agreed. I have not dined in a restaurant since the pandemic began, but I've frequented Bru for curbside carryout a few times. They've never disappointed! It's easy to order online and customize your burger, and once you arrive, simply pull up to a spot and call the number listed on the sign. My order has always been brought out promptly by employees wearing both a mask and gloves. Roll down your back window and they'll put it in your backseat for you. We have a competitive burger market in Indy and Bru Burger always delivers. I love a place that asks how you want your burger cooked and actually cooks it that way. A lot of places fail to do so. I have tried numerous burgers here and they all have been excellent. Today I had The Bourbon Burger which features bacon, peppercorn Bourbon glaze and horseradish havarti cheese. My wife got The Beginning and both were cooked to order and they were fabulous. The sides are al la cart. The fries $2 and onion rings $3 are both very good. The rings are huge and hand dipped. You only get like four but it's all you need. My onion rings are the reason this isn't a 5 star review. I frequently get them am here and they are frequently cold when placed in front of me. They make new ones of course which come out later and are now too hot to eat with my burger but they seem to have an issue with making them to order from the beginning. I ordered the vegan burger due to my dairy allergy (didn't want to risk as it seems like everything has cheese or butter) and was very impressed. These burgers are HUGE!! Big enough I could only eat half. They're so so good though. I typically don't go out to eat to grab a burger versus grilling them myself, but when I do I'll go here. The staff are friendly and it's pretty spacious inside. I've only had to wait once. Parking isn't an issue . I had the Bru Burger and it was fantastic. The caramelized onions made is so so good. My issue is with the fries, they were cold and you could tell they were not fresh and had been out for a while, which was incredibly disappointing. I like spicy food and I go the Melt your face burger. Although it wasn't that spicy for me, reminded me of an In N Out Burger. Rest of us got Double Bacon Burger, Portobello mushroom sandwich, and the Garlic three cheese. Appetizers I would recommend the Roasted Jalapeño Mac N Cheese it's the bomb. There is a pretty large amount of fries given to you if you order them as a starter and share instead of getting your own order with an entree. They also had some very good tasting dipping sauces for the fries. The burgers were huge, but worth it! Dessert was also well worth it! Everything tasted phenomenal! They have a pretty eclectic burger menu. My nieces were able to try a few different burgers and they really scarfed them down.
