Absolute worst drive thru. Something is always wrong with with my order when I go through the drive thru. Forget to toast it, wrong bagel, wrong cream cheese, waited in line just to be told at the window it turns out they don't even have the bagel you ordered. Then they ask if you want to tip before you even get your food. Why tip when it's a 50/50 chance my order is even correct? If you want to guarantee you get the correct order, go inside and order in person so you can actually see them make it correctly. read more

I drive up to the window, I see the same guy is making my bagel gloveless, grabs my bagel gloveless, someone hands him a phone- grabs it, proceeds to wipe his face then wipe his hands on his pants, then grabs the eggs again gloveless.. and that's when I left the sandwich I've been craving. read more

There is an employee at this location who is very pushy when it comes to tipping. He will not give you the card reader or your card to choose your own tip instead he says that the only way to process your card is by choosing a tip amount. This isn't the issue but it's the manner in which he does it. It is cold, and forceful. Every time I have come to this location and he is working I am felt like an inconvenience and that he has better things to do. This is the SLOWEST restaurant I've ever been to. I don't know if they train their people to be extra slow or what. The staff is friendly and all but the wait times are always crazy! I walked in and ordered Leonardo de Veggie and Salmon and egg salad. Veggie is supposed to be an asiago bagel and salmon is supposed to be pumpernickel a bagel. They were out of both. I asked "Isn't this a bagel store"? When you run low it's time to make more. Not after you're out. Put a red line in your bin at the reorder level and make more when the amount hits this line. This isn't rocket science. Well I changed to rosemary and olive oil. Then they informed me they were out of egg salad. Now these are their premier sandwiches. This wasn't a special order. Every Sunday, for the last 2 years, I would go to the Blaine Brueggers and today was the last time. Today I walked in and there was only 1 person ahead of me being served. There was a manager, a baker, someone on drive through, someone sweeping, and 2 employees working counter. With all those people it still took 5 minutes for someone to tell someone else to server me. After that I had the person at the register walk away from me as I stepped up. For 5 minutes every employee in the shop (including the manager) made eye contact with me as I waited for anyone to ring up my purchase. I finally walked up to an employee and handed back the bagel I wanted to purchase because I honestly felt like I was a burden to the employees. I love Bruegger's egg sandwiches but I can't eat them anymore. I was told by the district manager that even though I have a food allergy, and cooking a fresh egg without salt/pepper would allow me to eat an egg sandwich, they won't do it anymore. They aren't allowed to cook an egg without salt/pepper. People who watch their salt intake beware - they will only offer you a salty egg. He made it seem that serving me was really cramping his style and dragging down his restocking speed average. That said, this was the first time any employee was rude. I love Bruegger's and am always impressed by the friendly service, and the quality of the food. My only complaint is the cheapness of the portions for the price. I ordered a tarragon chicken salad bagel for $5.99 and they didn't even put enough chicken salad on to cover more than half the bottom (one layer...not even piled at all. Out of curiosity I measured the portion when I got home...I know..sad...but I don't like getting ripped off. It was a 1/4 cup including all the air because its chunky! Now cream cheese is one thing, but chicken salad is purpose of the sandwich so it was mostly bagel, a small taste of chicken salad and some lettuce and tomato (great tomatoes and lettuce quality by the way). My boyfriend got a breakfast sandwich with ham and it was a single thin slice of deli type ham with egg. The egg was great...the ham was SO sad :( Anyway I was disappointed. They are great if all you want is a bagel and cream cheese (although the cream cheese is only one tablespoon for the full bagel). The quality is great...the value for your money is not very good. read more
