I came in to redeem a free egg & cheese sandwich offer, and while the front-line staff were friendly and efficient, the manager ruined the experience. His attitude was abrasive and unwelcoming, responding to customers with things like "What do you need?" -- not exactly how you greet customers. I was charged extra just to add an egg to a sandwich that was supposed to be free. Over $6 for a black coffee and an extra egg to a free sandwich that I didn't even enjoy. The bagel was tough and chewy--not in a good way. I wanted to like this place, but between the off-putting manager and disappointing food, I won't be back. read more

What happened to these bagels? Brueggers used to make really good bagels, but recently they changed their ovens and apparently their recipes too. The texture, formerly great, is totally different. Not at all like a New York bagel. For example, The pumpernickel bagels are terrible. Flat, strangely blistered, odd smell and overall bad execution of what used to be a genuinely delicious bagel. The cinnamon sugar bagel heated up was amazing, and I also enjoyed a scrumptious ham egg and cheese on everything bagel. Good easy quick breakfast spot in Ladera Ranch, California. 4 star because they were out out a creamer and the dark roast coffee, so had to choose alternatives. What can I say......worth the calories LOL I keep coming back to get my farmers bagel. The line gets insane in the mornings still employees are friendly so it makes worth the wait. I think the prices are a little bit high compared to other bagel places but it's just the convenience to come here after getting your groceries done at the supermarket. I am giving them 3 stars because they don't forced people to wear their mask. If you place a sign at the door that masks are required, have everybody wear them. I came in with a coupon I received in the mail for a free bagel with the purchase of a large beverage. There was a line, but the crew worked quickly and were very nice even though it was busy. I picked up a rosemary olive oil bagel and it was delicious! The cream cheese did spill out, but I'd rather have that happen than have too little cream cheese. This was my first time ordering from here and let me tell you just WOW ! I ordered the Sriracha Honey Sunrise and I added Avocado, Ham and Sun Dried Tomato spread in addition. I also got egg whites instead for my order. I got a lil hash brown on the side. The bagel was super delicious will definitely order it again but with easy sriracha honey cream cheese spread next time. It's not spicy it's like sweet with a tiny kick. I did not like the hash brown not what I expected it's super soft and I just did not like the taste. Will I order the hash brown again ? The lines can be long, however, they move quickly because they have a great system in place ( production line like) that keeps people moving. Ugh! I just got 3 bagels today- 2 egg and cheese and a western brisket . My son said the brisket sandwich was undercooked and when I went to open the egg and cheese- they both had bacon on them!! I have lived in ladera my whole life and i can remember coming here since i was like 10, the bagels always hit, (ive been ordering the same thing for 10 years). The same few ladies have been working there for as long as i can remember, they are always very nice and efficient. Those of you who complain about wait times must just be getting unlucky, never once have i had to wait 10 + minutes for a bagel. I've been coming here for years for a Turkey Chipotle Bagel sandwich on onion bagel. The past 4 times they are ALWAYS out of Onion bagels. And today I wanted to leave a review for the white girl that works there she needs to work on her customer service and sandwich making skills. She was not happy when I came in to order my sandwich and she rolled her eyes after I told her they are always out of onion bagels. She barely put Chipotle mayo on my bagel, she didn't toast the bacon so it was soggy and gross. They use to also make that particularly sandwich with arugula now they use a ton of romaine lettuce. It was so bad I pulled the bacon out and the lettuce and it was so bland. Such a waste of money and my time. On a positive note I will say the Latina girls that work there are super nice and friendly and they HOOK me up with my sandwich.
