No gluten free options here. My husband who is not gluten intolerant says the bagels are overpriced and just ok. The atmosphere is not very inviting. Think I will go toast myself a TJ gf everything bagel at home with real butter or scoot on down to Intazza for a more pleasing atmosphere and service with gf options. read more

I've been here multiple times with my boyfriend. There is ALWAYS a line, it's always busy! Even if it's early in the morning or the afternoon. The first time I went here the staff was rude and I did not have a good experience (about a year ago) but since I have been back many times including yesterday 2/15/19, the experience has been better. This place is great! Love the bagels, the staff is friendly, and the hazelnut coffee is my favorite. Also, the bagels are always fresh, that why it's smart to get there early in the day, because you don't want be like the other whiny people that complain when the store runs out. ITS A BAKERY, not a McDonald's. When I go there to order, I'm always amazed how the staff keeps their cool, when they deal with such entitled sounding and rude people. Customer service is close to nothing. I took my younger sister here, and she said she didn't want to come back because the ladies who were working were rude. The bagels are good, but if you want that crisp bite, then you have to ask for it extra toasted. Also, they put the tiniest amount of cream cheese!!! I opened my bagel, and there were spots that we're just completely dry bread, and that was after asking for extra cream cheese! This is based on the three times I've gone in the last two weeks. This location was slow when I arrived. So I didn't understand why I had to clean off my own table. After cleaning and then sanitizing my own table I washed my hand and made my order of a onion bagel with avocado and cream cheese. I've been a huge fan of Bruegger's since living in Minnesota. I was excited when this new location opened. I've tried other bagel shops but nothing hits the spot like Bruegger's. The place is clean and there is plenty of parking. The bagels are always fresh. My favorite is the Rosemary & Olive Oil bagel. You can get six bagels and a tub of cream cheese (bagel bundle) for $8.39. It's a decent deal. The prices on the sandwiches jumped up by almost $2. Ouch. I've always enjoyed the Herby Turkey on a bagel for $6.39. That's a lot for a bagel sandwich. I wish they would stay open later so I could buy fresh bagels after work. They have a lunch punch card that you can use. Buy 9 sandwiches, and get the 10th free. If you keep your receipt, there's a website you can log on to and do their feedback survey to receive a dollar off your next purchase. read more

A toasted poppyseed bagel with scrambled egg and cheddar with a small bottle of oj will run you a cool $6. Now compare that to most breakfast combos at BK, Jack, or McDo's and you're paying a little more while not feeling as full. So what are you paying for? A better product. The bagels are freshly made, or at least are claimed to be made fresh daily. However the same cannot be said of their orange juice. I thought it was kind of funny that the label actually said that it was freshly "poured" daily. Freshly poured for $3? Now that doesn't seem like a good value. Yes the service is friendly and the guys dressing your bagel actually deliver it to you wherever you're sitting. I'm here about once a week and I've never experienced a huge crowd, I'm usually first or second in line and I've always been afforded friendly service. I've been coming here for over 10 years, and the bagels have always been great. The operating procedures under the new management, however, is costing them a lot of money in waste. The prior manager had employees write down the orders and then verify with the customers. In almost 10 years, I never had a problem with my order. This is no longer a consistent practice with their staff. My orders have been consistently incorrect, costing me time to go back and correct it and costing them money in extra bagels they are having to give customers to fix mistakes. At this point, I feel I can't trust the professionalism of their staff. I will be looking for another source for my bagels. read more

Tried this place a couple times. Great fast service and very polite staff. Tried a bagel with spread once, another time had a bagel breakfast sandwich. Both were good. Had coffee too and it was good. Wish they had a light roast. Not a fan of dark roast, decaf, or flavored coffee. Even though it was a dark roast didn't taste burnt like typical Starbucks. This place does have delicious and fresh bagels, but I don't know if I'd come back--the line wait was SO long...the line wasn't long but wow, service is slow. (They need a better system--the one person ringing up customers was the same person making coffee/drinks/filling creamers--not efficient. I mean, if five people are waiting in line just to pay...let us pay and then you can make more coffee...yeah?) I'm torn, to be honest...if they had faster service I'd be a regular but I can't wait 15+ mins in line for just a bagel. I definitely don't have time for that. BUT man...that bagel was yummy. I can see why people keep coming back--variety...fresh and hot...ahhh, bagel heaven. I ordered the Western on a plain bagel. This place meets my high expectations for a great lox bagel (smoked salmon bagel) I've searched high and low for a bagel place that sells this and I finally found it in the heart of Temecula. And it is called the " Classic Smoked Salmon with Egg Salad". It's different from my regular lox bagel that mainly consists of smoked salmon, cream cheese and onions. This had more flavor and the egg salad was a surprise to me! I honestly thought it would be a side dish haha. I visited about a month ago. I had pre-ordered bagels and when I went to pick them up, they had put them back and no longer had the items available that I ordered. A couple of things - I had prepaid, so it wasn't like they would be out the money. And I ordered on an app where they could have called me, if they were concerned that I wouldn't show. They explained that the policy is that any order not picked up within a 1/2 hour is restocked. I've never had that issue with any other food orders from other restaurants. In addition, they initially gave me a hard time about providing a refund- that I would need to contact the app to request a refund. I spoke with the manager and she was able to cancel the order for me. But it was a terrible experience - the employees were pretty rude and acted like it was my fault my order was no longer available. Overall a very negative and disappointing experience read more

First time coming to Bruegger's Bagels. The line was very long, but didn't complain because that meant this place was really good. Once we got to ordering we received our food in a matter of minutes. My iced coffee was amazing and the amount they gave me was better than Starbucks. I didn't like my food as much, but I did get the salmon and that's not everyone's type of tea. Bruegger's seems to have consistently good bagels. They're always fresh (no matter what time you go), tasty and have the perfect crisp to chewy ratio. I've been to several different locations and haven't had an issue. My go to is the western egg white sandwich. My daughter loves the egg white, cheese and tomato (on plain or five cheese bagel). So far I've had their jalapeño, jalapeño cheese, plain, cheesy hash brown and five cheese bagels and liked them all. I appreciate that they have a rewards program because the pricing is a little on the higher side. If you're in a hurry or just don't like waiting, I suggest you order ahead, as they are usually very busy. read more

The bagels are a bit better than your typical chain such as Western Bagels or Einstein Bros in terms of flavor, texture, and taste after toasting. however their prices are more expensive than those found in the Westside of Los Angeles $8.79 for a bagel with lox? That's excessive but since it includes capers and onions they do need to pad their margins. I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I went in on thanksgiving morning to get some bagels for my family, like most, we were preparing for a big meal later on. There was a huge line of people, which, was not necessarily my issue at first for obvious reasons. But, once i started observing the way they were taking and processing orders, i grew increasingly frustrated. I started observing the workers, primarily two younger men, who understandably, did not want to be there. Their sense of urgency reflected it. Since i was there simply to just pick up a dozen bagels and go, I noticed most of the orders were for sandwiches, or, something that required prep/cook time. I noticed there was time in between the time they put the orders in the toaster, and the time they cooked, which could have been used to start the next order. However, their process was to wait until the items were finished before starting the next order, so, i saw "a lot" of idle time as I stood impatiently in line. I thought to myself, that is the most inefficient way to process orders I've ever seen. I also thought to myself, they could probably thin out their line by using the idle time and asking patrons if they just wanted "bagels to go", like me, which required no prep or cook time, bag their order and let them check out. By the time i reached the register, almost an hour later, I was met by what I'm assuming was the manager. I started by "I don't mean to tell you how to run your business, but, your process for processing orders isn't working...I was immediately snapped at and told I'm sorry but it's first come first serve. Unfortunately, my patience for incompetence needs work, but, she abruptly barked out her 15 year resume at Bruegger's as to imply i didn't know what i was talking about. For the record, I have worked in the restaurant industry for several years, and over the last 30, have worked in a production based business. Bagels or Widgets, process improvement isn't rocket science if you're a person who is constantly striving to improve your business' ability to deliver to its customers. If not, continue doing what you're doing and expect a different result! As I admittedly grew frustrated and rude with our interaction, she patronized me by asking me if still wanted my order (no, i waited a painful hour observing incompetence for nothing); and, then proceeded to wish me a happy thanksgiving, repeatedly, as if professionalism could some how be salvaged at that point. Hey, in the inevitable chance this happens again and someone like me try's to offer an idea, humor me and thank me for my feedback and just say I'll definitely reevaluate our process once you get a break in the action, and that you really appreciate my feedback! Clearly, 15 years has not made you the expert you think you are! By the way, there are other negative reviews I noticed after I wrote mine. Ironically, they are very similar in nature, but, why has no one replied to any of the negative posts, but, only the positive posts? Clearly you don't have it figured out. I like you're food. If I can give negative stars I would , waited 25 minutes in line and observed the ordering which is so backwards , terrible service , got my sandwich order wrong and they use a black pen and write your order on your sandwich wrapper?? Why would they do that ??, I complained to the cashier about our long wait and not taking cc had to look for atm before going in , she was happy to cancel my order immediately?? WTF my son just stood there in disbelief, I told her why would I waste all that time ordering a sandwich I want to cancel it as a cashier if people really need to get it together management have to look at all these terrible yelp reviews of the ordering system and help backwards it is it does not make sense if you walk into a Manhattan bagel or an Einstein bagel your first order first and then sit down, do not waste your time read more

I've made sure to temper my review based upon typical bagels. I've ruled out *real* NY bagels, because it's just not fair to compare. So, as far as bagels go, this place is pretty dang good. Seriously, it wasn't the absolute best bagel I've ever had, but much better than many bagel places. Different than what you get at Panera, but definitely very good. Went there to order a Big Bagel Pack (Bundle?), and was pleasantly surprised with the speed and attention to detail in the order. He made sure that (at my request) every bagel was sliced nearly all the way through, keeping them together but making them easy to pull apart once they got where they were going. I snagged some cream cheese, and it was good to go. I really liked their bagel selection, too; I had a few half-bagels that day, and enjoyed every one of them! Also ordered their Crew Pack of coffee, and that was delivered quickly as well! They got it filled and sealed, and brought this nifty little box out to me along with the coffee box that had all of the necessary items in it. It really worked out well. All told, including standing in line (they were kinda busy for a Thursday mid-morning), it was *maybe* 10 minutes, tops, and I was on my way. I'll definitely come back here again, and add it to my list of places to stop when I'm wanting a bagel and they have one of these available. read more
