I went to see what was the hype about on Saturday morning at the brunch house on 35th AVE & SOUTHERN in PHOENIX, with my fiancée & my step daughter and her boyfriend, the vibe with music the was great, but the service was absolutely horrible, we waited for someone to come by to even acknowledge us sitting there to order a let alone, over 45 mins or more for drinks, and my step daughter ordered a hookah and that took FOREVER & then we wanted to order food, the waitress got our order wrong & the food took another 40 mins or more & not to mention it sat up there for a while on the ledge until they brought it to us, so we explained we didn't want the food anymore we wanted to pay for the drinks and leave, customer service absolutely horrible and food doesn't look good and I heard other friends of mines having horrible service as well, I guess I should've listened to them, I will never go again. read more

Went in with my mother today around 11:30 am. We were given big menus which we then found out were old menus and showed more than what was available, after deciding what we wanted to possibly order. Our waitress Alex was nice and understanding however it took about 25-30 minutes for our single espresso martini flight to come out ( (we ordered it latest 11:40). Once we received our flight we tried the shots and 3/4 of them were unbelievably sweet..like pure sugar/syrup. We then asked for them to please be taken back and just got shots instead, our waitress was understanding. We also put our food order in about 5 minutes after our flight and at around 12:25 we decided to leave as we noticed the table that had been there before us had just got their food at about 12:20. We decided to ask our waitress to please cancel our order & give us the check for the shots if our food had not been started in the kitchen. She informed us it had not and actually was about 4-5 orders behind the ones currently cooking. So good thing we left when we did or we probably wouldn't have got our food until about 12:45. I recommend that this place get a little more organization and time management!! read more

I've been here several times and always the staff is friendly and helpful and nice. Today I had the chicken and waffles and waffle was soft fluffy and chicken cooked well. I have had not so good experiences here with food but this place is coming along. Give it a try read more

I went with my parents one day and had the best biscuits and gravy I've ever tasted. It's family owned and they were so welcoming to my family. My dad made friends with the chef who is from Louisiana. Though the decor was more modern, the closeness of the staff made it feel southern. 10/10 will be returning. read more

Went here today, Father's Day. We are greatly disappointed! When you walk in, smells like sewage. The table was filthy and there was hair on the booth. They were not busy when we were there. It took an hour for our food to arrive. We ordered 1 kids meal and two adult meals. Our check was $68! The bathroom was so dirty my shoes were stuck to the floor. Physically the only nice area looked to be the bar. The caliber of people in there was also a bit questionable. My son kept choking on the smell of pot from table next to us. Overall, the place is dirty, food is mediocre at best and the service was very slow. We won't be returning. read more

I believe restaurants are the most criticized establishments because food is very important but to be completely honest I feel like this restaurant opened its doors to soon. The place does not look finished. The walls are bare and the place doesn't wow you when you walk in. The food was way overpriced for the quality of food. I know you're trying to be different and that's great but there are alot of breakfast spots in the area with better quality food for a better price. The service was good but there are a few things to work on. Silverware needs to be flawless and not covered in watermarks, tables need to be sanitized not just wiped down, the menus need to be laminated. I truly hope this place makes it but it will need some revamping before it gets there. read more

Tried this place today the food was just "meh". I ordered that red velvet pancakes and the best way I can describe them is just okay. I was excited to try it but it really wasn't all that. We were seated right away; more than half the restaurant was empty at that time. I will say our server was very nice! She was a super sweet girl. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated. One thing I really didn't like was that the music was too loud. I'm really not a fan of breakfast places with loud music but that seems to be a thing now. read more

Do NOT go here! Truly a disappointing experience. Waited over an hour and a half for our food and everyone's order still wasn't delivered. Two of us were about done before the final person's meal arrived. Service was also unacceptable. We had to ask for silverware. No follow up to see how the food was... which was horrible. I got chicken and waffles. The chicken was pretty good, but the waffles were so bad ... they were so hard that they were difficult to cut. I took a couple bites, but then gave up. And on top of everything, this place was practically empty and most tables were left dirty while workers just stood around talking. The table next to us just ended leaving before their food arrived. I love to give positive feedback but sometimes situations require constructive feedback. When we walked in the first thing we noticed was there weren't very many people there on a Sunday midmorning. But that was OK we decided to pursue anyway once we were seated we also noticed, and no one had food in front of them. This became a little concerning some of the people sitting around us advises that they have been waiting from 45 minutes to an hour to get food. We sat there for about 15 minutes before my husband got up and decided to go to the bar and perhaps order us something to drink since no one had came to offer us anything. He met another couple that said it had taken them 45 minutes to get a grilled cheese sandwich and a burger and they were at the bar, the bartender never acknowledged. My husband picked up the tip that was next to where he was standing and kept moving. Needless to say we left very disappointed because we were really looking forward to trying the spot out for the first time. We may try a different location in the future, but will never return to this one and it's too bad, perhaps it was just a bad day. Perhaps they were just shortstaffed but communication goes along way. If someone had said will be with you shortly. We're a little short staffed. Here's a drink for your weight. Sorry for the inconvenience. A group of 9 of us went in on a Sunday at 1040am. The place was maybe 20% full. The waitress was nice and engaging took our orders and then we sat and waited and waited and waited. It took more than 90 minutes to get food served that was wrong. The restaurant ( I mean purgatory waiting room) didn't have a rush, no sign of trouble nothing that could of slowed them kitchen staff down. Food finally started to come out and meals didn't have toppings listed on the menu, some omelets were burnt on the out side and still under cooked on the inside. IT was WAY OVER PRICED for what was given. We ran out of water and felt abandoned by the waitstaff, they just didn't want to face anyone that was waiting so long. Because we were more than 6 people they added a 20% tip onto our bills then had the nerve to ask for more of a tip. When it comes to paying then the waitress will hover over you and just tell you the total, not giving you an itemized bill to look at. We expressed to the waitress how the kitchen staff fucked up our food and management didn't come over and talk to us at all. This place will close very soon. Anyone in the kitchen working should find a new career where they know what to do. Management is somewhere between useless and actively trying to fail. People in prison get better food faster than we did. If I could give lower than 1 star review I would. read more

Definitely the worse experience that I have had. I will admit that it seemed like it had just opened for business not that long ago so I'm sure they are still trying to get the hang of things, that being said they are not starting off well. My family and I showed up on Father's Day to try something new. I honestly don't know who our server was, three different people stopped by our table but at the same time they hardly showed up to deliver water, food, and for us to pay. The music for the place was nice when they weren't skipping songs. There was 4 different songs that came on that I enjoyed only for them to be skipped 30sec later. The wife and I got a patty melt to split, in the description it said it came with bacon, sausage, spicy Mayo, and pepper Jack. I asked for the mayo on the side and instead of sausage just more bacon. First, it apparently wasn't a burger because when it came it only had bacon and cheese on it. I guess the sausage was supposed to be the "patty" part? They didn't bring spicy Mayo and the cheese was a white cheese but definitely not pepper Jack. So we essentially had a bacon cheese on sourdough...... wasn't great lol. It did come with a side a potatoes and I will say they were pretty good. Kids split a $14 cap crunch waffle, that probably wouldn't have been enough to even fill one child. Portions for both meals were pretty darn small for how much they were charging for food. So after having little to no service, small portions, and bad food we thought we should just pay and go. When we went to pay we were charged $57 for a Patty Melt, A waffle, and two sides (bacon and eggs since the waffle came alone). I didn't bother asking for my receipt despite them charging us for something else. The couple good things that we did experience was that the waffle the kids got was decent, also there was one person who I assume was the manager herd my daughter unfortunately say "where is our food?" So she brought my kids some fruit to keep them satisfied temporarily (probably what we were charged extra for ). Definitely not going back but I wish them the best for the future. read more

We had a reservation for a party of 10 and were greeted and seated promptly. It was about 20 min before our waiter came to the table. He was friendly, however there seemed to be two wait staff in the entire restaurant. As a result he was very busy. Our food started to arrive in batches about 35 min later. Half of our party had finished their meal before the last meal was delivered. Food was bland, not hot, eggs overcooked, toast was terrible - toasted in one side only, cold with a funny taste. Not buttered and looked like it was from a hostess bread bag. Waffles and pancakes were also cold. Coffee was like water- and we were told they only had decaf. Also overpriced for the product. We were excited to try a new brunch place on the west side. Sadly, we are one and done and will not recommend. Our waiter did the best he could under the circumstances.
