I had the best time in this store! I was in LA from San Diego for an appointment and drove past this store and stopped in to look at home decor. They have such amazing items! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. They were also super helpful. I bought 3 things that I LOVE. Everyone was so nice! Also, the old manager Carlton happened to be in and found the lid to an ice bucket I bought, which was awesome! And told me the best way to clean the items. The whole thing was just such a great experience! Next time I'm in LA I will definitely stop by again! read more

I feel a lot of the home decor, vases, and kitchen stuff are overpriced. Saw some cute china plate sets. Some clothing items are also overpriced. There could be a dress or sweater for $8 or $80. The clothes are packed so tight on the rack that it's not comfortable to shop. Some are in good condition. There is a fitting room. read more

We used to go here weekly when it was in Culver City because it was so close by and they always had a huge inventory. Quality was really estate sale. Now they've moved and we're not able to go much but they have tons of stuff! The clothing feels cramped Now because there's so much stuff and not as much room in the clothes area. They do somewhat separate the higher end from "regular" clothing and accessories. For starters, this is not a "thrift store" as the name is misleading. The merchandise is a carefully curated collection of antiques and collectibles. The kind of things you rarely find at a proper thrift store. And as such, everything is grossly overpriced. Ive decided that they dont really want to sell their stuff. Most of it is dated many months and even years ago and remains sitting on the shelves unsold, bearing price tags that will make your eyes bulge. That said, they do have a lot of very nice things. If you have deep pockets and youre looking for something old and unusual. check it out. Otherwise go to goodwill, an actual thrift store. read more

Found some great electronics, and some nice dishes for the kitchen here. My first reaction was everything here is majorly over priced. I saw some tables and some art for like $800 or $1000. Way out of my price range out, however who knows maybe these pieces are super rare and old, I don't know. But on certain days they have discounts and I would say that's the time to go. I was lucky enough to find a Coach leather backpack in excellent condition here for a really reasonable price, plus the cutest little turquoise blue outdoor table and chairs set. Stopped by for the first time today and was really unimpressed with the whole experience. Signs were posted everywhere saying 50% off which was cool but their prices seem really high for a thrift store even with that deal. We were going to make a purchase until we heard two staff members make racist comments about Persian customers.( they said something along the lines of "I had to deal with 8 Persian customers yesterday" and a female staff member responded by saying something about hopefully not having to deal with any Persian customers today) We immediately left and will not be returning. read more

I have to say that some of the things here are over-priced for a thrift store, but they have a lot of merchandise and some items are in pretty good condition. They are also willing to negotiate on prices, which is a plus! They go to Bel-Air and Hollywood homes and pick up donations and sometimes when people pass away they go and collect alot of things from the homes. You can probably find high quality items here and may be a bargain price too. I really do like this thrift store. I actually found it because I watch Mr. Kate on YouTube and they came here often for thrifting on their show. FYI there is street parking and not too many spots available. read more

I have been coming to this thrift store since they were on Washington over across from Sony Studio's FOR YEARS AND YEARS! It was very easy access since they were a block from our apartment. The old location was amazing and had plenty of room to move around. Although i am not fond of the new location, i understand the need to downsize. The clothing area needs some serious help because it is crammed packed and if i worked there i'd jump in and organize the hell out of that area. On a rainy afternoon we decided to stop in. I always find something and that day was no exception. I took a photo and obsessed over it just because i didn't want to ask for a discount. DO NOT BE SHY IN ASKING FOR A DISCOUNT. People might be tempted to say "their prices are redic! etc etc", but if you took the time to see who it benefits you would understand. They help with addiction recovery which is very expensive. IF YOU ASK, more than likely you will receive. I follow them on instagram and sent a message with a picture of the item asking "what is the best you can do on this item"? They came back with a much better offer than i expected! Morty was more than fair and i was very appreciative. Please do not dismiss this place as overpriced because the quality on the majority of the furniture items is anything but overpriced. This victorian renaissance vanity is absolutely beautiful with solid marble tops, carved wood handles and looks amazing in our living room! These types of pieces just aren't made anymore. Again, ASK! A rather odd warehouse type store, packed-to-the-gills with all kinds of furniture, household goods, and clothes. The clothes seem a little rough, (perhaps there's a lot but not always choice selections) but the good news is you can try to bargain on price with the people at check out. Some of the clothes are brand new and were just inventory that other stores wanted to dispose of, so you are in fact getting unworn stuff at times. It's a bit of a crapshoot, but worth poking around for the gems of home decor you might pick up here and odd pieces of furniture you might need! read more

Even with 50% off the day I went they're asking thousands for furniture, wall art, etc. If they were rare pieces I'd understand but even average coffee tables are crazy high prices. I found some great stuff yesterday at the store. It is piled to the rafters with good stuff. Great selection of home decor and art. Sadly the dishes are totally disorganized. I've never seen so many saucers missing their cups in my life and I'm a regular thrifter. I must have seen about 150 saucers without cups. Not an exaggeration. In other stores the items are taped together. I tried to pair sets together when I saw them apart but there was just too much stuff for this to be realistic. Yesterday I also saw two separate people brush by a dish that then came crashing to the floor. I bet it happens here all the time. read more

Just okay. The prices are wildly inconsistent things can range from 2 dollars to 40 and be from the same decade and same material and the price will be drastically different. It seems like they just guess the price based off how aesthetically pleasing it is. There was a 2 dollar rack that had some decent stuff, the clothes were more miss than hits, a few ok things that you will think is a good price because it may be cheap. I have found some pretty cool shit here that i STILL use to this day. However this isn't your typical "thrift store" with discounted prices. You will find price tags for $90, $100, even $200. The prices are competitive, however, your money is going back to the community. Spending a couple dollars goes to a great cause. First, I love everyone here!!! From mordekhai, mr x and Jackie in the front. To Mary in the back receiving items. Okay so now for my most favorite finds. I found a pair of pretty brand new Doc Martens here. It's been like 3 years & I wear them all the time. A few jeans jackets; a YSL one and my favorite jean jacket in my wardrobe, a Levi's. I have a fur coat (sorry peta) from BTS in my closet, as well as a few vintage purses, LV and Chanel. Oh I even have found a few lens for my DSLR here. I had to come here and check this place out. There's a lot of sections to go through but I found my favorite sections! I'll definitely be a regular at this place. Mr.X is super cool He knows how to look at things and see if they're still sellable or not. He's a really nice man and helpful, down to earth, and fun to talk to! I ended up getting a cool purse today which I had my eye on a few days ago. I'm lucky it was still here. It wasn't in perfect condition, but it's definitely classic and cool. Brand new it would have been a lot but I got it because it has this vintage chic look that I love with my clothes. I've also been happy donating my clothes here and books. I'll end up giving jewelry I have zero use for. It's for a good cause and I adore helping the Jewish community. They definitely help the community and I really want to give back so I am giving the stuff I no longer use here so that they can raise money for a good cause. I tried to ask them if I could leave my real estate business cards in the front for customers and they said no, so that's the only bummer for me. I figured if any customers want to sell their house, they can come to me for help, especially when they're getting rid of things and planning to move.....I digress! I made a trip recently to the BTS Thrift Store. I saw some okay finds (not very much wowed me). A lot of their antiquity looked more like reproductions of actual legit antiquity. They carry clothes, furniture, art, silverware, ceramics, and books here. The place has an odor to it. There is a Goodwill vibe to this place. read more

I thought the prices were a bit high for a thrift store, but when I asked about a particular piece they knocked $400 off and I got it for a STEAL! Everyone was super helpful getting this giant thing into our car and even let us use a moving blanket to get it home. I've now been a few times and every time I find something super cool, and get great service. read more

came in close to closing and was met by a stern security guard who told us we only got a minute to look around because it takes them 5 minutes to leave the store. He proceeded to follow us around the store while we looked quickly at the art. only the art and left. he proceeded to follow us out of the store and pester us and called my boyfriend and i the f slur. he tried to close the gate of the parking lot on us and not let us exit. i will never ever come back to this store not only because i was hate crimed but because the store was unorganized filthy and the prices were outrageous. read more
