Pad Hi Ma Parn (Cashew) with Chicken

Stopped here for supper still looking for great Thai in Chester County. Some winners here and some not so much. Tom yum soup was a started for my dining partner. They enjoyed it but felt it was a little too sweet and was missing some lemon grass. We also tried the Laotian sausage. This was excellent and enjoyed - nice char, great spicing - but avoided the very spicy condiment. Sticky rice was a $3.50 up charge which I think is excessive so we passed on that. My dining partner was very pleased with the pad Thai, probably the best we have found in Chester County. I ordered the Pad Hi Ma Parn (Cashew) with chicken. I asked for not spicy - I tend to go easy when I am at a new place -I got no spice at all. The sauce was very broth. Vegetables although very fresh were not even close to crisp tender - almost raw - and the chicken was almost nonexistent. The dining room was pleasant; music was of the elevator kind and seemed to play over and over again. The waiter was fine but had limited facility of English so we just punted in a few cases. The crowd at 7 PM on a weekday was grayer than most.

Delicious! The drunken noodles was particularly delicious, and I appreciate that it wasn't very greasy. Each dish had a unique flavor profile that complemented the neighboring dishes that were crafted to perfection. We ended the night with mango sticky rice. A delicacy that was like a cherry on top. Service was courteous, and overall, the dining experience was lowkey fancy. I could tell the other guests in the restaurant are regulars, and I understand why.

    Basil chicken Fried Rice

Looked up the place in Yelp and wanted to order take out from Bualoy. Called and ordered Thai basil chicken Fried Rice, ordering process was easy and simple. Got a confirmation order that will be ready in 15 minutes. The place is in Lancaster Ave, and it is not easy to enter if you are on opposite lane. There are plenty of parking spots back and some in front. The food was ready as I walked in and was nicely packed with spoon, fork and napkin. They even offered hit oil, which was cool. Coming to the food, as I opened the box, the fried rice had nice flavor and tasted so fresh. The quantity was so filling for a lunch and big kudos for that. The vegetables mixed along with chicken were at the right balance, and basil flavor was oedfectly infused into the rice as well as chicken. The taste was delicious even without adding the hot oil, but the hot oil kicked it to the next level. If you are around, try this place, and wypu will be happy. The price I felt was a little on the high side but worth the quantity of rice and taste !!!

    Crisp and delicious!

Tried again recently. Ordered at lunchtime on the weekend. Totally on point! Prompt. Generous portions. Pad thai and curry properly cooked and well-seasoned with balanced flavors and sufficient heat (you can choose from non-spicy, mild, medium, hot and Thai hot). For those who want it, there is a vegetarian option for Pad Thai and the various curries you can order. Chicken wings w sweet Thai chili sauce a real winner. Can't give the place any better compliment other than that the food is overall quite yummy!

Takeout - Panang Curry, Golden Triangle, Pad Thai

We ordered takeout the other day for lunch, and all aspects of our visit were quite positive. To start, we checked out the menu online, which denotes gluten-free options - this is great and somewhat rare among Asian restaurants. We called in our order and mentioned that we wanted gluten-free, and a few minutes after placing it, we received a follow-up call because the chef said some of the items we'd ordered aren't gluten-free. That was a nice touch. For our lunch, we ordered Tom Kha, Panang Curry, Pad Thai, and Golden Triangle. Everything had great flavor, in particular the brown sauce for the Golden Triangle and the Tom Kha. Takeout process was pretty good and safe too - I was motioned to open the door, where the staff greeted me with a tablet in hand to process payment, and then he handed me my food. Overall a great experience of Southeast Asian flavors, with some pretty good gluten-free options!

Decent Thai food :) Food is a little expensive for the portions they give in take-out but I really liked their green curry!

We got take out from here. The best thing was the late night noodles - so unique! The pad Thai was good, but not the best I've had.

We ordered the whole platter and the square egg rolls, and there was plenty of food. Everything tasted just like home. The restaurant itself has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the owner is so nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. Definitely a hidden gem I'd come back to!

Our Summer Rolls were well made, fresh, with decent dipping sauce and ground peanuts. The Roast Pork Banh Mi was also okay, but would have been a big winner had they used a more baguette type roll with proper crisp and crunch. Service was the one area where they really fell short. Perhaps because of the hour 4:00 p.m., we were the only customers in the house. The wait person seemed less than enthused to have to wait on us. She never smiled, nor brought us place settings. We ate carefully to avoid dropping food on the table, floor and our clothing. The serving dishes were too small for that purpose. She never gave us lemon or lime slices for our drinking water as requested. The mamasan was more pleasant in taking out credit card payment, wishing for our return in the future. Just not sure about that. Three pho-gettable Stars.
