I got the Sundried tomato bagel with the chive spread, very tasty but my only ask is that the bagel was a little less dense. The coffee was a little Bit watered down, not sure what happened there but that was a bit frustrating. One thing you can't beat is their customer service, very friendly staff and helpful with the menu.

I have been watching my carbs lately but it was my birthday and really wanted a bagel. My first thought was Bubbs even tho it's not the closest place. I ordered my favorite an Everything Bagel with Lox. Counter service is quick and friendly with a smile. The bagel as expected was awesome: stuffed to almost overflowing with lox, cream cheese and I added cucumber. You cannot go wrong here. Great service tasty food and if needed clean bathroom.

Charging out Tesla and saw a local business shop that sell fresh baked bagels so decided to stop by and support !!Got a dozen of variety flavor and took them home! At first I was a bit spectacularly , their were quick large/dense but when I roast them up to make bagel sandwich they turn out delicious !!Great chew , fluffy /doughy inside and a crisp crust !!Worth a stop

Story time: I was randomly in the area and navigated to a supercharger that just so happened to be right across from Bubb's. Wanted to bring something home as a surprise to my bread & coffee-loving wife. I started on their website, exploring the "about me" and food offerings to see if they mentioned anything about dietary restrictions. We're vegan & oddly enough, good bagels that don't cost a fortune are hard to find. Made it to the yelp and got a little terrified with the reviews, however, I thoroughly appreciated the attention, and care of the owners responses. I love supporting small businesses, so in I went. Person at the register had great energy. I loved that when I asked a question they didn't know the answer to, they made sure to check rather than mislead me. Bagel: Sun-dried tomato and basil bagel with vegan schmear, 10/10. Yes it's generous on the schmear, but isn't that a good thing?! Nice and fluffy, toasted to perfection. Still enjoyable to us after a 20 minute drive. Coffee: seasonal (gingerbread) latte, 10/10 We played a game for her to guess the flavor. First sip, "I don't know what this is but it's def from a coffee shop because this is bomb!" The Mrs, like the owner, is a lover of coffee. Her approval says a lot. She did say it didn't taste like gingerbread, more like vanilla, but didn't care because the flavor coffee was phenomenal. Ambiance: Clean and well kept. I did go on a random Wednesday at like 10am, but it regardless, 10/10 Don't be afraid of the bad reviews. I recommend this place based on my experience. Let's be real, these established franchises mess up y'all order and you still go back to give them your money. Grant Bubb's Bagels some grace, give them a shot!

What a great spot! We came here for the first time while visiting family. Stopped in to grab a dozen bagels for a gathering. Lots of staff working hard to get the orders out. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love that they double check the order and make sure everything is stocked since so many orders were ahead of us. There's some tables to eat there along with some counter top areas around the windows. The locations is on the corner and bright inside. Really nice. They even have some premade snacks in their fridge that you can purchase too. Plenty of options for bagels, shmears, sandwiches, and drinks. The bagels were fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. Oh and they'll slice them for you, which was a great added bonus. We will definitely come back here on future visits too.

It's been about 2 years since I last tried this place and wanted to give it another go. Loved the customer service! But the bagels fell short again. The thin layer of egg and a very small amount of shmear on my breakfast bagel left me wanting more. The bagels themselves are very big and will take some time to chew through. Now my preferred style of bagel but I'm sure some folks would appreciate it.

Besides easy parking there is nothing redeeming about Bubbs Bagels. I went there today and tried 3 things, all were disappointing For starters ordering was extremely slow even with a short line and then it took forever for food to come out. There were 7 people working, it wasn't a staffing issue I ordered my usual anywhere which is sourdough bagel with bacon and scallion cream cheese. The bagel they forgot to toast, it was stale and hardly any sourdough flavor, almost had the blah wheat taste. The cream cheese was excessive and gloopy, it was far too thin and splooged everywhere. Like they just tried whipping some green onions into cream cheese and didn't let it set. One measly piece of bacon for $2. Overall this was flavorless and messy disappointment. My husband had a bacon egg and cheese on everything bagel. The bagel was very salty. We also got a blueberry bagel with butter. The butter didn't even melt, it was so poorly toasted. The bagel had little flecks that I guess resembled blueberries, but definitely seemed like they took a plain dough and as an afterthought tossed some blueberry crumbs into it. I do not recommend this place at all. Bagel Cafe and Bagel Street in Pleasanton are such better options.

This is a very special place! They are courteous, friendly, and they pay attention to detail. I wish the coffee and hot chocolate would have been warm or preferably hot. The bag we ordered had a very interesting taste, and they give you a very generous amount of Schmear. They could elevate their service by making their drinks just a bit warmer and they use it. The thermometer would be highly recommended.

I had a fantastic experience at Bubb's Bagels! The bagels are absolutely delicious--fresh and great tasting. The service was impressive; they got my order out quickly without sacrificing quality. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The overall atmosphere is amazing, making it a great spot to start the day. Highly recommend!

Ask the Community - Bubb’s Bagels

Are their bagels made with organic flour?

While our flour is not organic, it is unbleached and unbromated. Unfortunately we have been unable to find a good high protein organic flour through any of the local distributors in the quantities that we work with.

I've been going to this Noah's for years and I always get the same thing for myself in addition to 4 unsliced bagels to go. The lox sandwich with a chocolate chip cookie. I love it! The customer service seems generally ok actually. The only difference I've noticed is that a man who I always assumed was the owner or manager seemed negative toward whatever group of kids was working ( almost always hard). It really bothers me when managers are rude to their staff. But The lox bagel is always very good so I keep going. I dropped by at lunch today and had the strangest experience. I ordered the usual and added 2 sesame and 2 plain bagels to go. Same old, same old. I am not sure if the 2 boys and woman working today were related or not. Their grasp of English was not very good but after repeating myself several times, I thought we had made the effort to submit the order. I was told that I couldn't have a cookie ( the choc chip cookies are the bomb). I thought it was odd, but I was tired of explaining so I moved aside to wait for my order. Hmmmm - maybe they are cutting back? The worst is that I used Apple Pay, added the tip but didn't look at the total. Ugh. Then I experience an unusually long wait and notice the lady who ordered before me is not happy with the order she received after her long wait. Rut row. I finally get my order and by then the line has gotten quite long. Of course, since they didn't bag the bagels right away when I ordered ( they usually do) the kind I ordered and paid for is not available. I made another choice anyway and decided to be flexible. The bag with the sandwich seems oddly light. Ugh. When I open the bag in my car, I discover a bagel with too much cream cheese but no lox. They charged me correctly for what they interpreted as my order- but I stopped for my fav sandwich so I drag myself back into the store. Luckily I caught the woman making food at the pick up counter. After the difficult communication exchange, I offered to pay the difference and get what I originally wanted- the damn lox bagel and the cookie . Now people waiting have watched every exchange and are now laughing but I am being cordial despite the lady I'm negotiating with appears annoyed with me. I now really understand that the grasp of English is not just not there. No apology, no what can I do to resolve the error approach was offered, no agreement to let me pay the difference. They wipe off the heaping mound of cream cheese at my request and I watch her add the lox, etc. She is very light on the ingredients but at this point, I want to pay and get out of there. She turns around and slides the rewrapped lox bagel across the counter. I ask for the cookie and to pay the difference. She refused to give/sell me the cookie and had the strangest smile on her face. I ask for the manager who I'm told went for a walk. The manager should be managing this hopeless situation. I guess I need to find a new place for lox bagels. Apparently there's no one who cares about the success of this Noah's Bagels. I know I'm not doing that again. Maybe just the Pleasanton Noah's? Edit after business reply: I thought about this situation last night and what I have written. In order to run a good business, you have to support your employees. The three people there were doing their best. Between the language gap, probably a cultural difference, support from an experienced manager, and lack of training - they understandably struggled. It's not them I'm boycotting- it's the management. If you value your customers and employees and want to make a profit change something! There are lots of people who want to work in a well managed business who pays fairly. Don't apologize to every reviewer because it falls flat.
