Amazing Bagel I have been this place for many times. It's great food. Service is excellent.

Bagel shop/Café located in a strip mall in Pleasanton. I think this is a Chain, but I'm not 100% sure. Either way it still has the vibes of a moment pop shop because I think the franchise owner or at least manager was there when we came in. Strip miles per large, so there's plenty of parking. The spot is clean and bright. There's a good selection of both bagels and spreads. The menu is solid as well. Came here when I was in town with family to grab some bites after a night of drinking I end up getting a sesame bagel with lox schmear and a coffee. It definitely hit the spot. I'm not sure if it was because we got here really early but the place was really chill and we were in and out really quick. Great spot to grab bagels at more than reasonable prices. read more

Solid new addition to the Safeway shopping complex on the 680 Bernal exit. We have been here twice in the last 2 days and are ready to go again! Top recommendations as voted on by our family: - BSC chicken sandwich: get it on their homemade Dutch crunch roll - the pepperoncini and avocado take it over the top! - Chocolate croissants: well-filled bites of decadence, high quality European chocolate. Pro-tip: have them warm. - Bagels: the Pesto, Asiago and Cinnamon Crunch are our favorites - Cream Cheeses: made in-house! Stopped by this morning for a bite right before my long drive home and I was welcomed by the loviest family. I told them I wasn't from here and they started recommending me all of their favorites and took their time explaining. They were so sweet and so patient with me. This is without a doubt my go to bagel spot on Saturday mornings. I love a classic bacon, egg, American cheese + cream cheese. They also have house-made (at least I think it is!) pre packaged cream cheese of various flavors for sale that always looks so tempting. I don't think I've met staff quite like the three people that were working there today. It was around lunch time and I ordered a Tuna salad. They asked if I wanted it as a sandwich or a "platter". I asked for a platter, then I asked if they could drop a half slice of bread in for me as I wanted a small amount of carbs. I may as well have announced that I was the second coming of Christ. They were stunned, confused, mouths dropped in astonishment. They started conferring with each other, offering a chicken salad because it had croutons, etc, They just couldn't get their heads around my simple request. So if you want any deviation from their menu, however small, forget it: it's just not fair to inflict this level of confusion on one's fellow human beings. read more

I enjoyed the customer service here, the man behind the counter was very patient with explaining popular items to me as a first time customer. I initially came in for a bagel sandwich but decided since it was lunch time to get a sandwich on Dutch crunch which is what he recommended. I normally don't like Dutch crunch because the top crunchy part hurts the roof of my mouth but the Dutch crunch here was softer. I got the Turkey and bacon sandwich which came loaded with veggies and lots of picked things. It was a standard sandwich nothing to write home about however I did appreciate the friendly service. Service was friendly and nice. However upon ordering my eggwich I noticed the egg mix being put in a microwave! That's a strong indicator to me that the food would be mediocre at best. I selected the spinach Asiago bagel and the sun dried tomato spread. The bagel was ok, a bit doughy. The sun dried tomato spread was disgusting!!! Some brownish crap with a gritty plastic taste... everything was flavorless and the chai latte was produced from a box mix , very sugary and watery. Would not recommend this place. read more

First off, bagels taste amazing and I love the wide variety of choices on the menu. However, the service seems inefficient and needs improvement. With taking multiple orders and accommodating rush hour, I noticed how employees needed repeated instruction on what customers wanted while this could've been solved by just writing it down in one go and giving an estimate on how long they might take. Another issue I had was their sanitation-- they were using the same bowl without washing it. Stopped by this Bagel place today morning for a quick breakfast and I loved their selection! So many bagel offerings to chose from! The Banana Nut & the Corn Honey bagels were delicious! I got their Lox Cream Cheese as well as their Honey Almond one, both were delish!! My favorite is their Cinnamon Crunch bagel, sweet and crunchy!! YUM!! Although you need to go early to snag one of those because they sell very quick!! The staff here are always friendly and courteous. I spoke to Thin, he was happy to talk about their freshly baked bagels and answer any questions with a smile. Love love love this bagel place! I'll be back next week to try some of the smoothies. I ordered the Lox Bagel Sanwich - yummy! Lightly toasted and everything on it. Great Customer Service, especially by the male owner. He explained that everything on the menu is available, including breakfast items. Clean. Displays are organized. The only downfall was the person sweeping around me while I was eating. I politely shared I was almost done with my sandwich and if they can pause for a minute. They understood and didn't realize the dust that was putting up in the air. Otherwise, I recommend this place! There are Bagel Street Cafes in the Bay Area but this one is probably my favorite place to eat. It's in a good location and the staff are always nice and welcoming. Pretty good and affordable. Typically quick if there isn't a long line. I used to come here more often but have been making my own breakfasts lately. Confused though. My bagel was $6.25, yet my total was $7.75. When I asked the cashier, he simply said "Yeah that's your total." When I asked further he said it was taxes. But $1.50 on $6.25 is more than a 19% markup. That's definitely not the going tax rate. So I'm confused. If they charge more for paying with a debit card (which I used), then there needs to be a clear sign stating they charge extra for debit/credit cards. However, I did not see such a sign. On my receipt, it just says "7.75" without an itemized list or taxes included. Please: either fix your tax rate to the appropriate rate or put up a sign stating the fee for using debit/credit cards if there is one. read more

Bagel Street is my favorite place to go to for a filling and delicious lunch every Sunday. It started off as a tradition with my lacrosse team to go get bagels together after early morning practices. My sister and I enjoyed it so much we made it a tradition to go together every Sunday on our own, even out of lacrosse season. She recently came back home from college and the first place we went to was bagel street. The service is so fast and the workers are so friendly, it's always a pleasant encounter! The bagels are always so fresh and delicious, and there's a wide variety of flavors. All of their food feels wholesome and nourishing, and I always feel a healthily amount of full afterwards. I guess they've changed owners. Didn't realize that. Their bagels are still good. BUT DON'T ORDER THEIR MUFFINS. what once used to be lots of blueberries in the crusty top, moist muffins, now only has 4 tiny pieces of blueberries. Its moistness is gone. The once Crunchy muffin tops are now soft, thick, and soggy. WHAT HAPPENED? Please bring back the old muffin recipes too. At 11:00 there were lots of muffins on the shelves. My boyfriend and I walked here for brunch because we were curious, typically I'm not a bagel fan but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I love bagels now because of the pizza bagel. I can write a review about the pizza bagel alone. My boyfriend had a sandwich that he loved and we shared a iced vanilla coffee that we drank in two seconds because of how good it was. When I was visiting my friend in Pleasanton during COVID-19, she highly recommended that we "order-to-go" bagel sandwiches from Bagel Street Cafe because she and husband go here regularly. They love the sandwiches but more than that, they say the fast + friendly customer service is really what brings them back every time.
