However the questions I asked about the seafood items about the menu all were shot down in some way...for example the flounder dish, the waiter said it was a very small portion. The shrimp basket was not friend in traditional southern batter(cornstarch/flower + seasoning). So I settle for the grilled chicken sandwich. It was good a solid 6.3/10. We went around 5:15pm tonight, super excited to eat here. The place was mostly empty, so we were excited to get seated pretty quickly. We waited 10 minutes before a server came to ask if we'd been helped, to which we answered that we hadn't. He said he would find out who would serve us. A few minutes later, the waitress arrived and took our order. I was elated to hear they had the seafood hush puppies back! Except when she brought them out, half of them tasted like they had rotten cheese in them. She asked how we liked them, and we shared that half were decent, and half tasted crazy bad. We could even smell the ones that tasted bad. She talked to her manager and said she didn't know why they tasted bad. Another guy brought us a slice of fruit for our drink, using his fingers to grip the slice of fruit (without a glove or in a dish), and asking, "Who does this belong to?", he saw it was mine and proceeded to place it on the rim of my cup, still with his bare hands, dipping his fingers into my water. While the service (minus the fruit slice) was decent, the food was terrible. The crabs were overcooked. The broccoli still looked slightly frozen as the broccoli with unmelted butter looked as it had come out of a leftovers box straight from the fridge. There was no wet wipes for my wife to clean her fingers with after cracking the crab legs, but thankfully we had my water (that the other worker dipped his finger in) and some lemons to rinse my wife's hands off over the crab legs bucket. Surely our receipt would show how our seafood hush puppies were removed after talking with the server who talked with her manager, but nope, it was still on there. All in all, this was the worst Bubba Gump experience ever. And no, it wasn't COVID related. This was "I don't know how to handle a restaurants" related. From now on, if I go back, it'll only be to the Orlando location. read more

Not worth the hype. This is my second time visiting this place and both times I have been disappointed. The burgers are good but everything I have tried (2-3 things) I was not crazy about. So it's hit or miss I guess. Atmosphere is great. Service is nice. View overlooking H20 is wonderful. Alcohol and food just a tad bit pricey. There were parts of the menu that had no prices. I asked one girl she didn't know. I asked our server...he threw out a bunch of prices. So I ordered something like shrimp and bacon potato balls. Server told me it was $8.99..it was actually $10.29. It was basically fried mash potato balls. Filling but not what I expected. I expected something more solid with a whole shrimp in it but it was miss with bits of shrimp and bacon. Disappointed. We made a reservation and still waited about 30 mins to be seated. I ordered a water, which smelled and tasted like it was straight from a dirty faucet. I ordered the scampi dinner and it was atrocious. I took maybe three bites of it and could not stomach it anymore. The shrimp were over cooked, the pasta was smothered in oil and garlic. Awesome first experience!!! This was my first time going to bubba gump shrimp. Although we had to wait a while to be seated and there was hardly and staff, it was very enjoyable. The food was out quickly but, the only problem with my food was that the rice wasn't cooked all the way. And at the gift shop we had to wait for a cashier. They were definitely short in staff. The decoration was amazing and it brought back so many childhood memories of watching the movie!!! read more

Great service from Chris D!! I had the steak with grilled shrimp (surf and turf). For the first time in my life I believe, I ate every bite of a dine-out meal. Plenty of big shrimp with that intense seasoned flavor from the grill. Steak was good, but steak is steak at the end of the day. Had the seafood hush puppies as appetizer...thought it was expensive for the portion and I wasn't expecting the texture. I think the filling is closer to a firm corn pudding than corn bread, don't care for that personally. The sauce was amazing though. Ended with a pizookie sundae. This is meant to be shared! I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of taste in the food and drinks. Our waiter was fully attentive even on a semi busy night. Initially it was a bit of a drag in their process of seating folks. As I came in from the back (by the pool lounge), I could only be seated by a host at the front in which there were only a few people in front of me, but it might as well had been 10 based on the time. The restaurant was not "full", so I'm not quite sure what the dilemma was. Plus there was one girl organizing menus at the front, and another actually seating people. They did not seem to communicate well with each other as one told me seating was available outside (I know because I just came from there), and the other said it wasn't. But after all the crossed wires were fixed the food was delightful. I ordered the fried seafood platter that came with fried shrimp, fried fish, fries and some AWESOME hush puppies. I normally don't eat hush puppies because they're never usually great, but I saw something different in these. For starters, they were large, and I could see kernels of corn in them. To top it off, there were chunks of fish in them! That just blew me away. With the added dipping sauce that came with them- PHENOMENAL. For drinks I had watermelon martinis (not on the menu) made with fresh pureed watermelon- soooo delish. Great shrimp! We timed it on the 25 year anniversary of forrest gump and we got to meet Forrest Gump who was going around and visiting bubba gumps around the country. We have the Landry card which is the best and we get the 25$ free birthday reward! We were visiting from out of town and staying at the Golden Nugget and after a long day we decided to eat in the casino. We had heard about Bubba Gump over the years and decided to give it a try. We asked to split the seafood platter (which was $44) and I had a water and my husband had beer. Our platter consisted of jumbo coconut shrimp, jumbo shrimp, deviled crab, flounder, fries, onion rings, onion strings, corn nuggets, fried oysters etc. The entire platter, with the exception of the fish and perhaps the shrimp and crab was very very overdone. We could not eat any of the onion rings or sticks and they were so overdone they broke apart in pieces. I tried to drain the grease off some of the food on a paper towel because it was so greasy. Our waitress was great as well as the manager who offered to get us anything else we liked but at this point we didn't feel like waiting on anything else and assumed any other dish we would get would be about the same, but at least they offered. The manager took $20 off our bill but as far as the food goes I suggest going elsewhere. read more

Staying at the Golden Nugget, against my better judgement I tried lunch here. Ordered the Pear & Berry salad and added shrimp. I also ordered the Lava Flow pina colada drink. The drink was excellent! The service was ok (she kept calling me "Baby"...and I must of been at least 30 years older than her.) and being a sole diner she kept forgetting about me. We had an amazing dinner at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in the Golden Nugget Casino. Our server Christopher was absolutely amazing. He was so friendly and funny. The food was delicious. I had the Scampi, my husband had Lt. Dan's Surf and Turf, my son had the seafood trio and my daughter-in-law had the Forrest Surf and Turf. It was all so delicious. Came in to grab take out around 8:30 on a Sunday night. The place wasn't too busy, bar was not full at all. After I placed the order, food took about 20 minutes. Service from the bartenders needs some work. They tend bar and didn't even ask if I wanted a drink. Just because I asked for take-out doesn't mean I'm not thirsty. I sat empty handed for the entire visit. I wasn't even offered a glass of water. I would bash this place if the food wasn't wonderful. The shrimp and grits were amazing and the gumbo was pretty decent, too. The food was good and I thought the service was good initially because floor manager did an amazing job of making sure my friend and myself had everything we needed at times when the server wasn't around. However my mind was changed based on actions that followed later that day. The organization in the restaurant is all over the place. There were so many people coming to our table, so we were confused as to who our actual waiter was, but we figured maybe that's how the restaurant is considering it was our first time visiting. We asked for the check after we were done eating and the bartender picked the check up. Unsure as to why the bartender was collecting the check, we just thought it was normal because maybe the restaurant was backed up service wise. When our original server showed up, we clarified that the bartender picked up the check and was that ok? The waiter said yes because they share the tips. We left only to come back hours later thinking we would have more food and offer our other friend a good experience like before, only to be questioned if we paid. It's very upsetting and unsettling to feel like someone is accusing you of stealing or not paying because the communication between the staff isn't good. Overall great floor manager but some conversations need to be had and some changes need to be made. read more

Very disappointed in my visit. Myself and two friends were staying at the Golden Nugget Friday 03/26. Myself and one other friend went to Bubba Gump in the casino and the food was good. The place was extremely busy. After eating, I paid with $45 cash and $8 tip. The bartender came and picked up the check. I thought that was odd because he wasn't the server. I let our sever Matt know that another gentleman picked up the bill and cash, and that I didn't need any change. He then let me know that was fine because he and the bartender were splitting everything. I thanked him and my friend and I left. My second friend wanted to get food later so I suggested Bubba Gump. I took her there but we got a to go order for her because they were nearing closing. While we were at the bar, the waiter I had previously had Matt asked if I paid during my previous visit. I asked what did he mean. He stated the ticket was still open. I reminded him that that Bartender picked up money and I confirmed with him. He got the Bartender and he stated he didn't have it, and told me what he normally does with cash payments. I reminded him that he picked it up, how would I know they were splitting the cash if he didn't tell me that, and why would I come back if I left without paying. That doesn't make any sense. This really bothered me. I don't steal, and I felt very insulted that this happened. And even more insulted that the Bartender lied to my face. I did speak to the manager and explained what happened, but the fact there isn't a clear system in place to prevent false accusations is unacceptable. I also did not receive an apology. I will never patron any Bubba Gump franchise and will encourage my friends to do the same. read more

I would never recommend this to anyone that want food and drink. Get the food to go and stop at a gas station to purchase a drink. That way you can digest the food you just got. Probably one of the best seafood houses on the coast of Biloxi! Ever since Biloxi was hit by Hurricane Katrina everything was mostly whipped out even Casinos, high rises and Victorian mansions even restaurants of all kinds were demolished after Katrina hit. It was a very sad sight to see when we came through a month ago after it came through memory crosses, houses on the ground and etc. But anyways now to the review of Bubba Gump! I fell in love with Bubba Gump Shrimp Company when I first went to it back home in San Fransisco, California located on the Pier! This Bubba Gump Shrimp Company located Biloxi is yummy and delicious. Oh my goodness, where do I start? I don't understand why this place is rated so highly. First off, it's located inside a super smokey casino/hotel. The view from the inside of the restaurant is pretty nice. We requested a table inside and, for some reason, the hostess kept trying to seat us at tables beside the open doors leading to the balcony. If we wanted to be inside, we DID NOT want to be at a door opening. The food was gross! We ordered the Shrimper's Heaven and Seafood Platter. All of the food looked and tasted like it was ALL bought frozen and cooked to order. The fried shrimp had no taste. The grilled shrimped tasted like frozen char. The coconut shrimp had more breading than shrimp. The catfish breading fell off while trying to break a piece off. This place is a must try. Went there twice during our week long vacation in Biloxi and both times everything was perfect. Servers were friendly and service was quick both nights, one of which was a busy Saturday night. We ordered the Shrimp Net appetizer which was DELICIOUS! We got it mixed garlic and cajun which I highly recommend because the two flavors compliment each other perfectly. For dinner I had the Mahi and brussel sprouts and my husband got Bourbon Street Mahi. The fish was cooked to perfection, moist and flaky! The sauces with both dishes were yummy. We stopped in for a late dinner on our way to hear a band at the Rush lounge. The atmosphere is casual and kid friendly. Our server, Latoya was excellent. I ordered a cup of the clam chowder with 1/2 oyster po-boy and fries. The chowder was fantastic and the fries were perfect! The oysters were just a tad over cooked, but still tasted great. Hubby ordered the Accidental and loved it! It was grilled trout over a bed of jasmine rice topped with shrimp. The lemony sauce was perfect.
