Well we planned on going someplace else but the line was 2 hours so we pivot! I am so very glad we did. I've always wanted to eat at Bubba Gump because I am a fan of Tom Hanks and most of his movies. Serendipitous experience. Randi was our server who was cheered up, informative and charming as she stared down an open to close shift on Thanksgiving. The place is everything you would want it to be. Clean, full of cool memorabilia and a great view. I have been wanting an espresso martini and that was the second serendipitous thing to happen. It wasn't as it looked on the menu but it was very good. Husband had a pomegranate mojito! The mint and pomegranate was a surprisingly good mix. Husband is a traditionalist and he went with a beautiful turkey ham meal. I'm traditional in the way if your at a shrimp place... eat shrimp. Everything was very good and the turkey was excellent!!! I've eaten at Bubba Gump many times over the years...it's inside the Golden Nugget Casino. The place has a lot Of interesting things from the movie "Forrest Gump" hanging on the wall. In almost every case, I've found the service to be extremely slow. It stays that way consistently. I've seen wait staff fuss among each other, heard yelling from the kitchen and I've learned to accept it. If you're on any kind of schedule, this is not the place to go. The food is good. There's nothing special about it, but if it comes out warm, it's good. The drinks are okay. I always hope service will be better...but since 2016 it's been about the same. read more

This place is very busy and is located inside the Golden Nugget Casino. We had to wait for about 30 minutes before we were called to get seated. The hostess seemed kind of impatient and aggravated, and our waiter was quite nice but also seemed impatient. He was busy, so he didn't really let us replace our sides for something else. DRINKS: We started off with a few alcoholic beverages: "Rum Forest Rum", "Top Shelf Long Island Iced Tea", & "Tropical Breeze." The drinks were very sweet but the Long Island was strong. FOOD: For food, we ordered the glazed salmon (medium rare), surf & turf, and the seafood trio, and a side of coconut shrimp. The food was very disappointing. This is supposed to be a seafood restaurant, and the most decent part of the food was the steak, which was still very mediocre. This is a tourist trap!. The salmon was still cold in the middle and the shrimps from all of our meals were dry. The seafood trio was not good at all. We didn't finish it. The coconut shrimp was skimpy and small, and they only gave us 4 pieces. I do not recommend this place. read more

I really had high hopes for this restaurant. Please know that this location is inside the casino. We decided to dine in Saturday around 6PM. We were told that there was currently a 30-45 minute wait due to a big party on the patio and the cooks needing to catch up. They took out number and told us we would receive a text once our table was ready. We decided that we would just go ahead and leave since it was inside the casino where smoking was allowed and we had our 7month old baby with us. We were probably 1 minute down the road when we received the text that a table was ready. We decided to turn back around to dine. The waitress, Kay, took our drink orders, put our drink orders in then came back to give them to us. She was running off so quickly that i had to stop her to let her know that we wanted to order apps as well. We ordered the half pound of peel and eat shrimp. The inside didn't seem so crowded but food took a while. And even after we got our appetizer and finished it, it took a while for Kay to come back to take our orders. When she finally came back, we placed our orders. My husband got a fried platter and my son also got a fried catfish platter. I ordered a dozen of the "chargrilled oysters". One thing i cannot stand is when restaurants bake their oysters and call them chargrilled. That was the case here. Nothing about the oysters were chargrilled and the side of red beans and rice that i ordered was cold. I took one bite out of the oysters and knew that i wouldn't eat them so i sent them back and just ordered another half pound of the Peel N Eat shrimp. Of course it took another 11 mins for those to be ready. Overall, the food was mediocre. The service was mid. I feel like this restaurant is overhyped. read more

So I'm kind if torn about this review. My husband and I went to Biloxi for our anniversary. I really wanted crab legs. We didn't feel like leaving the hotel and this place was in the hotel. I saw they had crabs legs. My crab legs were really good. I just didn't like that all the seasoning was on the outside though. Here I am all dressed up and my hands are a mess, my face was a mess. They did give me a bib which helped a little. My husband ordered a fried chicken tender app and fried chicken sandwich. The app had NO seasoning at all, not even salt. We told the waiter to let the chef know and he said awe ok. Then his sandwich came out and it was the same way. We weren't expecting New Orleans type seasoning but at least some salt. We sat outside which had a nice view of the pool. It was a peaceful setting. Everything seamed fairly clean. I'm not really sure if we'll eat there again or not. read more

We came here for my best friends birthday! I have been to Biloxi several times in the past and absolutely love the Golden Nugget and of course seafood, seafood, and more seafood! We were going to H2O pool which is immediately below the restaurant, so we decided to dine on something light while sipping birthday drinks. We ordered some clam chowder and a seafood platter. Both were absolutely delicious. Service was amazing as well. We had one main server and then two other servers who attended to our table and every needs. Congrats Bubba Gump's of Biloxi!! You are officially the WORST restaurant I have EVER eaten at. We dined in on a Wednesday night at around 9. There were 4 of us in our party, including 2 kids. It took about 15-20 minutes once we were seated for our server Allison to show up. There was a lady who stopped by our table to flip our sign and say our server would be with us but this was 10 minutes in to our wait and she couldn't even bother taking our drink orders. Once our server got to us, we ordered drinks, an appetizer, and our meals at once. The far out dip aka spinach and artichoke dip was probably the most disgusting dip I have ever eaten. It didn't even look appealing. There was no cheese. It was like a vegetable mushy pile of crap. We expressed our dislike to our server and she said she would retrieve the manager. Well this "manager" apparently told her that if we touched the meal in any way that there was nothing that could be done. How could you taste this disgusting appetizer without trying it? And the fact that this coward couldn't come over to our table and tell us in person or at least smooth things over? So we order some drinks while waiting for our order. I was told by the bartender when I went to look for a drink menu that the drink I choose came with the glass. The drinks came out and were delicious. Finally, a step in the right direction. Our food comes out. I'm not going to lie. The coconut shrimp were delicious and we loved the sauce that came with it for dipping. But here is where they really pissed me off. The 2 children ordered pizzas. And this crap looks like it came out of the microwave. Neither kids ate even half of it. One described it as soggy. The other, whose favorite food is pizza, ate a few bites. I think the only reason why they even ate any was because they were at the beach all day and had worked up such an appetite. Our server kept forgetting everything we asked for on several occasions from the very beginning. There was a Pepsi ordered. She brought water. She forgot the extra sauces, to go box, and other things. Then, on top of that she complained about how someone else dropped the ball there. She made excuses as to why she was slow. This was only her fourth day. She hasn't served tables in years. There was so many excuses given and it was so unprofessional. The bill comes. They charged $15 for one drink. Well my mom caught on and they were trying to charge us for the glass I never asked for. A total scam. We had to ask for it to be removed. $86 later and we walked away totally underwhelmed. I will never EVER eat any Bubba Gump restaurant again. And I would advise people to eat anywhere else but here unless you prefer bad service and mediocre food at a high price. read more

We like to sit at the outside bar when we are at the 'Nugget'. The bar staff is always friendly and makes the experience fun. We usually just snack here as we are waiting for our groups to arrive. Y'all, I was incredibly skeptical about this place, but it actually wasn't bad, even bordering on good! My wife and I had lunch here while staying at the Nugget and it was a pleasant surprise to us both. She had the fish tacos which looked and tasted great. Her only complaint was that the slaw was mayo based instead of pickled, but that is a minor flaw. I had the coconut shrimp and they were really good. The batter was light and made of actual coconut, not like cheap coconut shrimp that rely on heavy oily batter. The shrimp themselves were large and tasted great. There was a citrus chutney for dipping that added a nice element of flavor. The margaritas were also a pleasant surprise. Flavorful and refreshing.
