If you're familiar with the movie Forest Gump, then you love it here. It's fun atmosphere. Skyalie was our server. She did phenomenal job. She went out of her way to suggest , and recommend things on the menu . It was helpful. Check out their gift shop to.

I brought my Mom here for her 90th birthday. I am such a bad son, as I failed to mention it was her birthday. Apparently they make a big deal out of birthdays here. Anyway, the vibe here is amazing! I love that they have Forrest Gump on a loop on some of the TVs while you eat. The night we came didn't have many people here, but you wouldn't know it by how the staff treated us. They were all very attentive and super polite! I am allergic to shellfish, so I ordered the Texas Chicken Sandwich while my Mom got Mama Blue's Fried Shrimp. I get full fast these days, but inhaled that entire sandwich because it was so good! And my Mom absolutely loved the shrimp. She asked why we don't have restaurants this good in Vegas! lol! I highly recommend coming here if you are a fan of seafood and Forrest Gump. Even if you have someone that is allergic to shellfish like me, there is something on the menu for them as well.

So I stopped in for their Happy Hour, which is actually a pretty good deal. There are several bar appetizers on the menu and a special on beer and certain drinks. I opted for the queso dip, and the popcorn shrimp. The bartender was friendly enough and service was fine. The queso dip was incredibly salty but the portion was way more than I expected for the price. But damn it was salty, and it became kind of cloying after a while, just too rich and salty. The PCS was ok but it was also salty as hell. But again the portion size was much larger than I was expecting. It also had some deep fried hot and sweet peppers in the dish as well. My blood pressure probably went up 20 points eating these dishes. But I'd probably do it again with the PCS, but doubt I would get the queso dip again. The atmosphere is nice, the bar area is a good place to have a beer or two, so overall I guess I'd recommend it if you're already in the area.

Located inside the Golden Nugget, downstairs. It can be accessed via the riverwalk or using the escalator. They offer indoor and outdoor seating (with misters) I prefer the outdoor seating. It's less crowded, quieter and offer a great view of the river. Their misters help to keep it cool. Hostess and waitress were very polite. Jill was very helpful with menu options. My fish and chips were perfectly cooked and the small potion was perfect size for a light dinner. They do offer small or large size. If you enjoy seafood, give them a try.

We were passing through Laughlin on a road trip and decided to stop for a meal and to enjoy a view of the river. This was a nice break in our drive and we enjoyed sitting on the covered patio very much. I suggest sitting where the patio is covered and not on the extreme edge which is not covered and the birds can have access to harass you your whole meal long. Real fun space with fire pits and views of the river in every direction. Food was good, I enjoyed my fried fish fest more than I expected and my mom sure enjoyed her grilled salmon. Server was helpful in choosing selections and seemed very attentive. Nice break on our road trip that day, would not hesitate to return.

Took a LONG WALK down the street to get to this place from our hotel. Why? We'll everything I was in Times Square I thought about going in but my deli radar won out. So we show to all the Forest Gump stuff in their little store. Started with a shrimp cocktail. Shrimp were GINORMOUS and fresh, no freezer after taste The main course were shrimp butterflies and stuffed with crab and cheese. This was great to a new level. The service was awesome and they even gave us two free Bubba Gump souvenir cups for coming in. Pricing was nothing too bad. This was a fun trip down memory lane from one of my favorite movies. THANKS FOREST THANKS!!!

I had a great dinner here inside the Golden Nugget casino. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. I got a platter with fries and coconut, fried and tempura shrimp. The shrimp were delicious and I loved the sauces that came with each type of shrimp. The cola Slurpee in keepsake cup was great and the strawberry shortcake was to die for. I will definitely be back here and try to sit outside by the CO river next time (reserved for a bus tour this time). They have a big gift shop. Also, no worries if you don't like seafood, they have other items as well.

Just before 5pm the place is packed. We are quickly greeted and served our drinks. Our orders take 19 minutes. Which is pretty good on a busy night. The food was fresh, crisp fries, hot crunchy hush puppies with sweet corn inside, and great fish. The garlic seafood boil had shrimp, potatoes, sausage, snow crab and great garlic bread. Enough to sop up the butter sauce, it was very good. Emma is a pro, she kept a close eye on us. An got me to join the club.

Nothing beats a beautiful day with tables available with a gorgeous view of the lake. The seating area outside offers just that as long as the weather cooperates. Today it did! Love this outdoor seating area. We arrived shortly before noon and the place was pretty much empty. We were seated right away with the perfect view. Server was prompt with taking our order. However, we were missing service items and it was a little tough getting what we needed delivered to us. Other than that, things were good. Fish and chips were delicious! We'd go back anytime for that along with their cole slaw. Very good and we just may return before we head north.

No, reservations aren't required, but you can make them on Open Table.

Is there a happy hour? And if so, what time is it and what are the prices for everything that changes?

You would need to look at the menu for the particular location you are going to visit. Such as in Laughlin, NV, there are specials for Sun-Fri for food and drink, but in bar area only.

We were allowed to sit and order drinks while waiting for everyone to arrive. Our server, Chris, was amazing. He was very prompt with our drinks, very patient with all of us. Even a couple of latecomers. He answered all of our questions and requests with a smile and courtesy. The everyone remarked about the great service, plentiful servings and how good (tasteful) our food was. The food stars tonight were the taco salad, prime rib and teriyaki chicken. Perfectly prepared and yummy. Prices are very reasonable for the serving sizes. Give them a try, you will be glad you did.

Since I knew that the Fish N Chips offered here was no longer All You Can Eat, I opened with an add on: a refreshing Side Salad with Honey Mustard Dressing. It contained several small cubes of tomato, and helped to fill me up, as designed. Our entrees arrived soon afterward. Besides Coleslaw that had a good balance of creaminess and crunchiness, and nicely seasoned elongated French Fries, the battered fish on my plate consisted of three large batons of very heat-hot fish that tasted great dipped in provided Tartar Sauce after application of a little lemon juice and malt vinegar. One of my batons was a little undercooked; the other two were perfect. Diane liked her Fish N Chips as well, plus the Fried Shrimp, but wished that her shrimps had been battered rather than breaded. Our server, Chris G., did a great job of waiting on us, and quickly fulfilled our requests for ketchup, malt vinegar, and in Diane's case Coleslaw removed from her plate. Even though I was pretty full at meal's end, I knew that if we had gone to an AYCE place like Black Bear Diner across the Colorado River, I would have downed at least one more filet of fish. The Fish N Chips offering here was quite reasonably priced, so Diane and I discussed putting in another order to split, and decided to do so. Thus, I called our server over and tried to put in the order. Alas, I was told that no more fish remained--but not to worry about making a belated request, because the cook had informed him that no more fish remained right after receiving our initial order. So we couldn't have had more fish even if we had tried to add a third helping with our original order. Next time I will arrive earlier in the evening!

The young man working the register, serving drinks, bussing tables by and cleaning up around the whole seating area and buffet area was the only one really working and the only friendly person there. All the food looked old and dry, some worse than others and we had to ask a couple of times if they could make more because it looked gross and really old(what was left anyways) all of the desserts were literally hard as rocks, even my favorite donut sugar balls. Taste was off and they were hard and crunchy. I literally showed my hubs by jamming my fork in it (took three tries) and tapping it on the plate. Hard as a rock. Sushi looked and tasted great but the stir fry ingredients were all dried out, including the sliced meats. There was an older man there, the older always grumpy faced lady and the two younger girls there but they didn't do much. There was an older gentleman who walked in and stood waiting at the register for quite a while before saying "hello?!" I had to tell the young girl that the man needed help but she didn't help him. The older lady just stood at the back watching and the young man came running out from making drinks to help this man. Because when we got there everything was either old and gross looking or the tray we're almost empty, I didn't eat much. Oh and since all the desserts were old and rock hard hubs tried to get an ice cream but unfortunately there was none. Boo Sad that no one there seems to care about the quality of the food and service. There over an hr and not once did anyone ask if we needed anything or refill our drinks. Oh and the booth back rest was broken so the big guy seated behind me had me bouncing around in my seat every time he moved. Which he did a lot. Annoying.

We stayed 5.5 miles away, on the River Walk, made the leisurely return drive to Bonito once we saw the colorful frontage on an earlier foray into Bullhead City for necessary provisions once we RECOILED from the sky high prices at the Harrah's Tropicana (ex, $7.49 for a 20oz jar of Diet Pepsi). BG greets its guests with festive, brightly painted dark orange. We began our course with a titanic mango margarita. To their credit, they feature warmed bean dip topped with crumbled queso fresco as an accompaniment to their chips/salsa. Leti, after choosing BG for its seafood heavy menu, threw a curve and opted for a bowl of birria soup. I chose an Asada Chimichanga with a duo of asada tacos dorados. The tortillas are handmade and delicious! Both Leti and I marveled at the quality of the house Mexican rice, super fresh, fluffed and teeming with a light, florid tomato-dense taste complimented by Lima beans. Quite the refreshing departure from the bland rice dispensed by 90% of Mexican restaurants! My wife said that her Caldo de Birria was good...but that it wasn't super plentiful in meat. My chimi arrived golden brown with a heap of melted cheddar jack cheese bullseyed on the top. The interior is studded with asada, bell peppers and onions. First time I've ever seen bell peppers utilized inside burritos! The asada crunchy (dorado) tacos were generously stuffed with asada...but zero accompaniments like onions/cilantro/lettuce or tomato. I hadta redeploy the lettuce/tomato served alongside my chili, inside my tacos! If you're gonna charge $5/Taco at least send them properly attired! Gentle suggestion: Consider offering guests a side serving of fresh lettuce, tomato, diced onions and cilantro to dress up their tacos. Or, serve them with a ramekin of steamy birria broth... The mango marg was not "super sweet" (as our server Daniela had described) and we both thought it was stingy on the tequila, esp for its $16.99 belt, er, tab. Our bill was $86 incl taxes and tip for two entrees, a cocktail and a soda.
