BEWARE OF BUGS! The patio has a great view but unfortunately laughlin has those pesky little water flies, so beware of that if you sit on the deck after 7pm you will have to move. This meal was disappointing, it just wasn't giving freshness. Nothing amazed me. The drinks were just mid (good presentation).

    Cute souvenir cup.

We came here for lunch. The hostess in the front were very friendly. We were served quite quickly no wait. We ordered the seafood platter with potatoes, sausage, and crab legs absolutely delicious... Our server was so nice the food was tasty. The ambiance is cool very clean everyone is nice. Perfect.

Service was outstanding in the bar area. Mario R is top-notch. Great drinks. Great service bought us stuff before we even asked for it.

This is our favorite spot to come to when Vegas gets to be too much. This time around, we got the Dippin' Broth dish and it was delicious! Larry was also an AMAZING and attentive server. There needs to be more Larry's in this world. The Forrest Gump trivia questions don't stop coming (in a good way)! The decorations, music, and the film being played in the background makes it fun to come with family. All of the staff was friendly and we will keep coming. It's worth the hour and a half drive!

I brought my Mom here for her 90th birthday. I am such a bad son, as I failed to mention it was her birthday. Apparently they make a big deal out of birthdays here. Anyway, the vibe here is amazing! I love that they have Forrest Gump on a loop on some of the TVs while you eat. The night we came didn't have many people here, but you wouldn't know it by how the staff treated us. They were all very attentive and super polite! I am allergic to shellfish, so I ordered the Texas Chicken Sandwich while my Mom got Mama Blue's Fried Shrimp. I get full fast these days, but inhaled that entire sandwich because it was so good! And my Mom absolutely loved the shrimp. She asked why we don't have restaurants this good in Vegas! lol! I highly recommend coming here if you are a fan of seafood and Forrest Gump. Even if you have someone that is allergic to shellfish like me, there is something on the menu for them as well.

If you're familiar with the movie Forest Gump, then you love it here. It's fun atmosphere. Skyalie was our server. She did phenomenal job. She went out of her way to suggest , and recommend things on the menu . It was helpful. Check out their gift shop to.

I was here on a five day trip and decided to eat here on day 3. I had the chicken tenders as the appetizer and the Cajun Crab Boil. The food was absolutely delicious. It was so good that I came back on day 4 and ate the exact same meal. My waiter was Larry on day 4 and he was the absolute best, very friendly, helpful, thoughtful and kind. He even put my bib on for me. I give this place a 10/10 if the food keeps coming out delicious and if every waiter/waitress is like Larry. Oh yeah and the drinks were great as well. I also sat on the patio outside, great view of the river and mountains.

So I stopped in for their Happy Hour, which is actually a pretty good deal. There are several bar appetizers on the menu and a special on beer and certain drinks. I opted for the queso dip, and the popcorn shrimp. The bartender was friendly enough and service was fine. The queso dip was incredibly salty but the portion was way more than I expected for the price. But damn it was salty, and it became kind of cloying after a while, just too rich and salty. The PCS was ok but it was also salty as hell. But again the portion size was much larger than I was expecting. It also had some deep fried hot and sweet peppers in the dish as well. My blood pressure probably went up 20 points eating these dishes. But I'd probably do it again with the PCS, but doubt I would get the queso dip again. The atmosphere is nice, the bar area is a good place to have a beer or two, so overall I guess I'd recommend it if you're already in the area.

Located inside the Golden Nugget, downstairs. It can be accessed via the riverwalk or using the escalator. They offer indoor and outdoor seating (with misters) I prefer the outdoor seating. It's less crowded, quieter and offer a great view of the river. Their misters help to keep it cool. Hostess and waitress were very polite. Jill was very helpful with menu options. My fish and chips were perfectly cooked and the small potion was perfect size for a light dinner. They do offer small or large size. If you enjoy seafood, give them a try.

We were passing through Laughlin on a road trip and decided to stop for a meal and to enjoy a view of the river. This was a nice break in our drive and we enjoyed sitting on the covered patio very much. I suggest sitting where the patio is covered and not on the extreme edge which is not covered and the birds can have access to harass you your whole meal long. Real fun space with fire pits and views of the river in every direction. Food was good, I enjoyed my fried fish fest more than I expected and my mom sure enjoyed her grilled salmon. Server was helpful in choosing selections and seemed very attentive. Nice break on our road trip that day, would not hesitate to return.

Took a LONG WALK down the street to get to this place from our hotel. Why? We'll everything I was in Times Square I thought about going in but my deli radar won out. So we show to all the Forest Gump stuff in their little store. Started with a shrimp cocktail. Shrimp were GINORMOUS and fresh, no freezer after taste The main course were shrimp butterflies and stuffed with crab and cheese. This was great to a new level. The service was awesome and they even gave us two free Bubba Gump souvenir cups for coming in. Pricing was nothing too bad. This was a fun trip down memory lane from one of my favorite movies. THANKS FOREST THANKS!!!

I had a great dinner here inside the Golden Nugget casino. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. I got a platter with fries and coconut, fried and tempura shrimp. The shrimp were delicious and I loved the sauces that came with each type of shrimp. The cola Slurpee in keepsake cup was great and the strawberry shortcake was to die for. I will definitely be back here and try to sit outside by the CO river next time (reserved for a bus tour this time). They have a big gift shop. Also, no worries if you don't like seafood, they have other items as well.

    Do you need reservations?

No, reservations aren't required, but you can make them on Open Table.

Is there a happy hour? And if so, what time is it and what are the prices for everything that changes?

You would need to look at the menu for the particular location you are going to visit. Such as in Laughlin, NV, there are specials for Sun-Fri for food and drink, but in bar area only.

The wait times are somewhat long but that's not their fault...you can't make people hurry when they're enjoying a great meal after a day on the water. The real purpose of my review is to talk about my experience with the Manager, Michelle. She handled what was a very serious and sensitive moment for me and my large group with such sensitivity and grace. She was understanding, empathetic and she made one of my least favorite moments so much easier with her willingness to work with my group. She found a way to accommodate us even though we mis-counted our party size by 2. I am so aware that this wasn't easy for her and that it adds to the already stretched staff. My wife was tempted to try the carrot cake while I was driving, and gave me a piece. If I weren't diabetic, I would have snatched that cake from my wife and eaten the whole slice of cake. The only problem we encountered was that a window table was not ready for us until thirty minutes after the time of our reservation. But the river view was worth the wait! We began with a complimentary Bread Basket that included excellent lavosh, and a Shrimp Cocktail Supreme sporting five shrimps. This time the crustations were meaty and flavorful dipped in a two-tone sauce. We requested and received extra lavosh with no resistance. Next up for me was a good French Onion Soup Au Gratin with a large crouton laden with a mix of Parmesan and Swiss Cheeses. Then I tried the Steak Diane Soup that came with Diane's order. It was the best version of this soup that I have sampled to date. Tender chunks of beef dissolved in the mouth carried along by a sea of broth that tasted like Mushroom Gravy. A complex dinner salad followed, with Mixed Greens (no Iceberg Lettuce at all), Grape Tomatoes, Artichoke Hearts, Bleu Cheese Dressing and Bleu Cheese Crumbles. It was here over 25 years ago that I first tasted wonderful Bleu Cheese Crumbles in the same type of salad. After cleansing our palates with Lemon Sorbet, for mains I had lean Veal Piccata with Capers and Spaghetti slathered with a delectable Lemon Cream Sauce, while Diane enjoyed her usual order of Coquilles Saint Jacques. This time the included Scallops were very small but the Shrimps were very big, and portions were generous. For dessert we splurged on two orders of delicious Bananas Foster prepared tableside, and I had a Decaf Coffee. Richard, our server, did a wonderful job of flambeeing this treat, that by this time was accompanied by a few bursting fireworks that were visible to us just across the Colorado River from our perches above. The elegant ambiance of the restaurant this evening could not have been better. We left in time to observe most of the Rockets Over the River fireworks show from our parked car on a hilltop overlooking the Laughlin Strip well above Casino Drive. It was a magical night!

Our waiter, Charles, deserves 6 stars for his service alone! He was insanely knowledgeable, funny, and didn't shy away from our alcohol induced antics. He even asked the chef if I could sub an item (chef said nope but I appreciated his effort). The wine is a bit overpriced for what it is, I sent the image of their bottle list to someone more familiar than myself and they confirmed that the price is less at a high end restaurant near LA. The appetizers were delicious. Overall, the food was good but I found the appetizer better than the main course. Everyone else had giant portions of food and mine was just a few bites. For the price, the main course left me feeling a bit disappointed. The dessert was good, drinks were good, and the view was absolutely the best part.

We had a hard time finding anything that tasted fresh. Most of the food was either fried or heavily covered in sauce, and there weren't many lighter or freshly prepared options. The hibachi station was especially disappointing because it was out of meats every time we went back, making it difficult to actually enjoy one of the main attractions of the restaurant. While the prices are relatively inexpensive, I still felt it was expensive for the quality of the food we received. In the end, none of us ate very much, and we ended up going somewhere else for dinner afterward. The customer service was perfectly fine, and the staff was courteous. However, one thing that really stood out in a negative way was a young man handling food who had extremely long fingernails on both hands. That's simply not something I want to see from someone preparing or serving food I'll be eating. I hope they improve the freshness of the food and keep the hibachi station consistently stocked, because the restaurant has potential. As it stands, though, it just wasn't an experience our family would repeat.

Has everyone working at Hibachi Buffet given up? Including the owners? We've been here many times…read moresince they first opened and it's crazy how every time we eat here it gets worse and worse. This time was unacceptable. We won't ever come back. The young man working the register, serving drinks, bussing tables by and cleaning up around the whole seating area and buffet area was the only one really working and the only friendly person there. All the food looked old and dry, some worse than others and we had to ask a couple of times if they could make more because it looked gross and really old(what was left anyways) all of the desserts were literally hard as rocks, even my favorite donut sugar balls. Taste was off and they were hard and crunchy. I literally showed my hubs by jamming my fork in it (took three tries) and tapping it on the plate. Hard as a rock. Sushi looked and tasted great but the stir fry ingredients were all dried out, including the sliced meats. There was an older man there, the older always grumpy faced lady and the two younger girls there but they didn't do much. There was an older gentleman who walked in and stood waiting at the register for quite a while before saying "hello?!" I had to tell the young girl that the man needed help but she didn't help him. The older lady just stood at the back watching and the young man came running out from making drinks to help this man. Because when we got there everything was either old and gross looking or the tray we're almost empty, I didn't eat much. Oh and since all the desserts were old and rock hard hubs tried to get an ice cream but unfortunately there was none. Boo Sad that no one there seems to care about the quality of the food and service. There over an hr and not once did anyone ask if we needed anything or refill our drinks. Oh and the booth back rest was broken so the big guy seated behind me had me bouncing around in my seat every time he moved. Which he did a lot. Annoying.

We stayed 5.5 miles away, on the River Walk, made the leisurely return drive to Bonito once we saw the colorful frontage on an earlier foray into Bullhead City for necessary provisions once we RECOILED from the sky high prices at the Harrah's Tropicana (ex, $7.49 for a 20oz jar of Diet Pepsi). BG greets its guests with festive, brightly painted dark orange. We began our course with a titanic mango margarita. To their credit, they feature warmed bean dip topped with crumbled queso fresco as an accompaniment to their chips/salsa. Leti, after choosing BG for its seafood heavy menu, threw a curve and opted for a bowl of birria soup. I chose an Asada Chimichanga with a duo of asada tacos dorados. The tortillas are handmade and delicious! Both Leti and I marveled at the quality of the house Mexican rice, super fresh, fluffed and teeming with a light, florid tomato-dense taste complimented by Lima beans. Quite the refreshing departure from the bland rice dispensed by 90% of Mexican restaurants! My wife said that her Caldo de Birria was good...but that it wasn't super plentiful in meat. My chimi arrived golden brown with a heap of melted cheddar jack cheese bullseyed on the top. The interior is studded with asada, bell peppers and onions. First time I've ever seen bell peppers utilized inside burritos! The asada crunchy (dorado) tacos were generously stuffed with asada...but zero accompaniments like onions/cilantro/lettuce or tomato. I hadta redeploy the lettuce/tomato served alongside my chili, inside my tacos! If you're gonna charge $5/Taco at least send them properly attired! Gentle suggestion: Consider offering guests a side serving of fresh lettuce, tomato, diced onions and cilantro to dress up their tacos. Or, serve them with a ramekin of steamy birria broth... The mango marg was not "super sweet" (as our server Daniela had described) and we both thought it was stingy on the tequila, esp for its $16.99 belt, er, tab. Our bill was $86 incl taxes and tip for two entrees, a cocktail and a soda.
