This was the worst restaurant experience. The server looked like she was on drugs. The food was not that great . Red lobster is a million times better . Ordered the bucket with crab legs. It was very spicy and dried out and overcooked. The server put in the wrong order for the appetizer and then brought it out and Yelled at me for not wanting it when I clearly ordered a different one . Then, she started writing really hard on her little notepad. I will never go back there again. Do not recommend, tbh I expect much more of this place being that it's right by the water . One of the restaurants in Golden Nugget Casino with outdoor seating. Perfect for us because we had our dog with us. The outdoor seating area is by the river, really nice. You can take water taxi here as well. There are fire pits in the outdoor seating area, which is nice for a chilly day. We had shrimp gumbo soup, burger, and 2/3 net catch shrimp. Shrimp gumbo soup - $5.69, was good. Burger - $10.29. The meat was okay, but we didn't like the type of bun they used for burger. Net catch shrimp - $13.29, were so-so. The size of shrimp were small. Absolutely not. I was excited to come here. By far, the worse shrimp po boy I've ever had. The shrimp is fried, small, and I could get the exact shrimp from the dollar store. They serve it on a big roll with very small fried shrimp, two thin slices of tomato, and a bit of lettuce. There's a tiny bit of mayo. I had to ask for a side of aoili. This is all roll . It's not a po boy. It's poor quality. I can remake this sandwich with a box of frozen small shrimp from the dollar store with two slices of tomato, a bit of lettuce, and not enough mayo. There's no special sauce. I'm so mad I have to pay $17 for this. I took the shrimp out of the roll and ate that. I'm super hungry. The fries unflavored. It's a very cool atmosphere here. We had visitors and figured we would take them to Bubba Gumps to have a nice dinner as we go there often. First we went for 2 items that was no longer on the menu and still decided to stay. Let me say the service was not to good and we ordered 4 dinners and all 4 fries were cold the fish was soggy and the shrimp was rubbery on all 4 dinners. This was the worst meal that I have ever had at Bubba Gumps. I ordered fish and chips and when I bit into the fish I realized that it was either Gorton's frozen fish or Van Kamps, either way, it was horrible. The crab legs in my husband's gumbo or seafood stew, whatever it was, were also frozen, and frozen for so long that the "crab meat" was almost non-existent. The service was a whole different ballgame. Our "server" was nice enough but the food runner seemed ill-tempered, all we said to her was "thank you", very politely. I know that this is a chain restaurant, but it doesn't feel like one. The attention to detail, by our server, was top notch. The food was yummy. I had the Bourbon Street Mahi Mahi. The spiciness of the blacken seasoning melted into a lovely beurre blanc sauce. The potatoes were rich and the shrimp was tender. The fish flaked on my fork. Drove here from Vegas and had a birthday celebration for a family member. I love where this restaurant is located. The casino it's in is very simple. Parking is free and easy access. Casino is pretty straightforward with their signs. The restaurant has an inside/outside seating area. Outside has beautiful view of the Colorado River with everyone having fun on their boats and jet skis. Right across the river is Arizona! Love the way the restaurant is ran and decorated to match the theme of Forrest Gump. They also have a cute little gift shop. If it's too hot out, they turn on fans and the water misters that cool down the patio. Our birthday family member did not see them coming with their personalized birthday song. While on a overnighter in Laughlin, we were walking along the river front when we realized that we were walking through the outside dining patio of the Golden Nugget and Bubba Gump Shrimp. On the walk back, we decided to stop for dinner here and requested the dining patio, which turned out to be a very good choice. Seems that it is quieter than the dining room and there is fire pit which adds atmosphere. Don't worry if there is a big game on, there is still a TV in the patio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I decided on the coconut shrimp and my wife chose the gumbo with a side of hush puppies. Both came out in about 10 minutes. While waiting, I noticed that this outdoor patio is very popular and would probably be nicer when your there during daylight hours. The coconut shrimp had the right amount of sweet and savory with a good crunch. My only complaint is for my personal preference, I would have like more cole slaw and less fries. The gumbo was very hot and had lots of taste, perfect for a cold night. It is a very relaxing place to have a meal and enjoy the river view. read more

Our server Lynnette was friendly- she did her best serving our table. It took up up until getting our food I received a sling for my babies car seat when I asked right when we were seated, right when we got our drinks then I just put the car seat on a seat which then they brought the sling out. We sat outside on the patio over looking the river beautiful view! Just keep in mind birds come flying in taking food left out in the open (it's a longer wait to dine inside) there's also those bugs I think they're moths that come in swarms and hang out. I'm not used to that so that freaked me out lol. Food came out we ordered the calamari and spinach artichoke dip. Calamari came out Stale no flavor super rubbery and it was room temperature so was the dip. I ordered the Im stuffed shrimp & my husband had the ribeye- the only thing that was hot on his plate was Mac & Cheese. His mash potatoes were cold all plates came out warm. The place is festive Service is fast and it's clean here The food is definitely chain American-style sea food. We had a great time celebrating my husband's birthday I could think of much better places to get sea food but it's fun looking here. My family and I had such a pleasant experience at this location the food was excellent the service even better. Our waiter Larry made the experience much simpler for us since we had never been to the restaurant before. We were a party of 15 and celebrating my grandmother birthday. He made it so fun for us because he quizzed us on the movie Forrest Gump. We did okay . They said they close at 10 and have to break the party's up into 4's . I asked for a manager and Chloe came out and had a piss poor attitude from the start and actually was worse than the hostess! I guess I stated that I don't fn care after I was lied to and asked if I wanted to not be seated! This place is a flat out joke and the staff is very rude! Yes. After I was treated so poorly I was upset! Never will I come to this location again nor will anyone I know! The so called manager should not be a manager at all nor walk up with a piss poor attitude because her and her staff can't simply take down proper seating arrangements! If they mess up they shouldn't take it out on the guests or expect us not to be highly upset! Seriously she should not ve working w the public at all! I will also be calling this location to report this horrible experience as well as writing a letter to corporate. Worst experience by far! The general manager called me and basically stated that I was the issue and defended his associates. Maybe this is why this establishment is at 3 stars and has plenty of reviews with 1 Star complaining about the rudeness of their staff. I'd give zero stars if possible. The $12 bloody Mary was horrible. Tasteless rubbery shrimp on the rim of some flavorless premix. The shrimp tempura appetizer was double fried and not in a good way... I've prepared and eaten a ton of shrimp and there's no way that wasn't fried, got cold and then fried again to heat it up. The sauces had sat under the warmer for so long they had a film over them. The hostess was great, the waitresses serve was acceptable. TLDR please don't waste your money here.
