Not sure why there are some negative posts because this place was top notch. Our server was helpful and friendly and explained to us the BG system with the "run forest" blue license plate (meaning all is good) vs the red license plate asking for service at the table. Fun! I had the most delicious drink, a Standing O, which was fruity and tropical. A bit pricy and $12.95, but I got to keep the glass, and it was delicious and quite large. We had two dishes: fish and chips and scampi.My son had the scampi and said it was delicious but a little small (would have been perfect for me) so if you like a bigger all get a side salad for a few bucks extra. The fish and chips were great: crispy and flaky (and a healthy portion). Thumbs up to this place! Lots of fun and good food. We come here just about every year, this time the food was mediocre at best. Fish was way over cooked, everything fried tasted like stale oil. Not worth the price. Two sub par fish sandwiches for over 40.00!! They weren't cooked properly. We got them grilled and they were mushy and undercooked. I was sick all day the next day. Good experience. We went there for happy hour on a Sunday for apps and drinks. We got the calamari and the special $6 happy hour shrimp. Loved both, although the andouille sausage was super spicy, so be careful. The little garlic bread with them was a nice touch. You get 2 different sauces with the calamari and I enjoyed both. I waited a whole year to come and enjoy a yummy dinner for my birthday last night.. I was sadly disappointed.. my mommas fried chicken which is my favorite.. their was very little mashed potatoes and old and the chicken was small. Not like it's been in the past. I ordered a lava drink with rum and there was no alcohol in it whatsoever. My husbands burger had a weird taste to the meat. I don't know if it was old or what. But our server was very nice. YIKES! I'll never go there again. My salad had rotten black lettuce throughout (the shrimp was tough and unchewable). When I told the server, she said that was how all their lettuce was. My friend and were stunned and talked to the manager and he shrugged and said there was nothing he could do about it. With that attitude, you know there's worse stuff going on than that. Staff is friendly and service is good. The food (although I believe much of it comes in frozen and prepared ahead of time) is still good and the menu offers a great variety of tasty treats. Visited last weekend and showed up on a Sunday right before Happy Hour. The bar tender was kind enough to let us know we had about 7 minutes before Happy Hour if we wanted to wait but it was up to us. They have great HH specials including drink and food specials. Ate here on Saturday (1/27/18) at the bar and ordered calamari, the fried platter, and the combo desserts. Everything was so delicious even though most of it was fried, you could tell the freshness of the seafood in every bite. They also have amazing tartar sauce. The next day I was craving their hush puppies from the platter and come to find out they have a decent happy hour from 3-7. Hush puppies weren't included but ordered them anyways along with the fish tacos and slider burgers. We were super satisfied with our choices and with 4 HH drinks and 3 appetizers it came to $30 which I thought was pretty affordable. The guys tending bar did a great job both nights but the second night were slacking on checking if we needed anything once we got our food. Only complaint and it's not a big one because the food was still super good( I was just craving a side of the tartar sauce for my fries) and everything else they were on the ball. The fish looked like they are a hundred years old and didn't remotely resemble any fish/chip Platter I've ever ordered. The entree had scant amount of fries and they were dried out and salty. The poor coleslaw looked anemic; I took a few bites and found it inedible. So, staff 5 points for attentiveness, 2 points for quality of food. My rate is a super ZERO!!! The drinks took more than 15 minutes to arrive. Tha waiter blamed the bartender for our drinks coming out so late, even the waters... our food took a longer time! A group our size recived thier food before us. When our food arrived it was cold!!!! When i recived my margarita it had absolutely no alcohol taste in it. The worst service ever. Arrived for a 6:30pm reservation and was seated immediately. Waitress took drink orders shortly after. We waited for about 20 minutes before we got our drinks. Then we ordered. By now it is about 7pm or so. Numerous times we requested the tv above our table to be changed to a hockey game we wanted to watch. That never happened. Food finally started arriving close to an hour after we ordered. The restaurant is at half capacity- so there's no way they were too busy. I ordered the Bourbon Mahi dish and specifically asked for the sauce on the side. I didn't know how the sauce was made and I have some food sensitivity so was playing it safe. Sauce was not on side but instead the meal was drowning in it. At this point I just ate it because I was starving. Someone else ordered a burger that was extremely over cooked. Appetizers never arrived, so when asked they brought it about 5 minutes later-during the meal. Ordered a second round of drinks and they barely arrived before we left. Service was horrible. The lady in the front giving times out to everyone got paid $40 (seen & heard it with my own eyes) & they got attended right away without reservation. Great atmosphere, BEST patio! Being a local we cycle through the many dining options in the area depending on the mood. But when we are looking for comfortable afternoon on the deck this is the BEST around! And even though Laughlin gets its share of visitors, with so many options there is never a huge crowd. The deck/ patio is over the river and always open. We have eaten out here all winter and even on a chilly day there are several fire pits and fire places to keep you toasty. The view is amazing and even with a breeze it is awesome. A true tropical feel all year long. Where else can you get that? We have had several of the menu items. The jambalaya is perfect, the ribs are fork tender and unbelievable. As well the fish Tacos are awesome. Grilled or fried. I get them every time. They have an early bird menu from 1-5 with some smaller portions and lighter prices too. They have An extensive drink menu too which has a ton of signature cocktails and the service is always friendly and fast. The golden nugget is really a fun atmosphere where it's never too crowded. You make your way through the casino and down the escalators to Bubba GUmp where you will get a great time on the beach every time. If you want to relax on the deck like a true tropical vacation with some good food and drinks all while seeing the most refreshing view in Laughlin then this is the place. read more

This was the first time I have ever been to Bubba Gump's. Booked our RSVP online and requested the river view. Arrived a few minutes early, went to check in and hostess looked up for RSVP. She acted like only 2 of us and we wanted a river view. then she whisper the the girl that was going to seat us and they acted putout. Got our seat. Our waitress came and gave us our menus and said she would be back. She kept walking by us several times stating she would be back. Finally she came back, took our order. Our food was delivered by another server and our drinks never came. We had to ask 3 times for our drinks. The manager came by and we expressed our concerns and he said sorry. Like not a care in the world. Shoot we were in Laughlin having a good time and they were brining our mood down. Food was okay, nothing to write home about. Nothing special.
