The staff was attentive, and the food offered a great, refreshing alternative to the usual Mexican options.

The food wasn't bad, but the $16 "double" steak tacos literally had maybe a tablespoon of steak. Total rip-off. Not coming back.

A hidden gem in Johns Creek…read more Some of the best made-to-order Indian food you can get. I've been here a few times, and love the freshness of the food, the meticulously-crafted recipes, and attention to detail. At a time when a million and a half Indian "street food" restaurants keep cropping up at every street corner, Campus Cafe delivers authentic restaurant-level Indian dishes with high quality ingredients, freshness and great friendly service... all in a fast casual setting. Campus Cafe is tucked away in a small strip mall at the corner of 141 and State Bridge Rd in Johns Creek. It's a clean establishment with room to dine in, but I've always ordered my food to go. So far, I've tried the following: Vegetarian biriyani (5 stars) Chicken kadai (5 stars) Paneer tikka masala (4 stars) Goat curry (5 stars) Chicken biriyani (4 stars)

For this trip, I'm exploring Cheesesteaks in the area since I just moved in. Compared to Weeyums, Philly D, and uncle Phil's I would say this is nowhere near as good as those. It scratches an itch, but the bread is wrong. It was too small and barely held together. It was good, but if you're looking for a spectacular Philly, I wasn't getting it. Might be worth trying the Desi Cheese steak since it's different. Seems like that might be my next try. Just need better bread. Onion rings were also just prepackaged. Nothing to write home about. Service was fast and friendly. The owner at the counter always calls out to his guests saying thanks. I'll be back to try the Indian food next. I think that will be great.

We love this as a to go option! Very tasty chicken and an easy meal…read more Multiple flavorings and sauces!

We had absolutely no business ending up at Nando's... and yet here we are…read more The original plan? Matcha. Light. Peaceful. Maybe even a little classy. What actually happened? Piri-piri chicken, garlic bread, and zero self-control. Nando's is already one of our go-to spots, so it didn't take much convincing. The vibe hits that perfect sweet spot between casual and "we're pretending this is a planned night out." And the food? Consistently elite. My husband went with his usual: the 2 1/4 legs, hot. A bold man with a questionable spice tolerance, but I respect the commitment. I ordered the chicken thigh skewers, medium, because I like to feel something without seeing my life flash before my eyes. Now let's talk about the real star of the show: the garlic bread. I don't know what they put in it, but I would trust it with my financial decisions. It's that good. He also got the fries (which, okay... a little skimpy this time, Nando's, we noticed ), and I switched things up with the corn on the cob, which absolutely held its own. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we needed even though we didn't know we needed it. We met up with my sister and her kids, who ordered after us, but honestly the best part of the night was just hanging out, talking, and letting the table slowly turn into a graveyard of sauce-covered plates and crumbs. Final verdict: Came for matcha. Left with full stomachs, zero regrets, and a renewed emotional attachment to garlic bread. Would accidentally end up here again 10/10.

Village Burger does a fried chicken sandwich right. Ordered it tossed in buffalo sauce with bleu…read morecheese, red onion, lettuce, and tomato - and this thing was massive. The chicken hung off every side of the bun, and you could tell right away it was hand breaded, not some frozen filet pulled from a bag. Crispy, juicy, and the buffalo sauce had just enough heat without drowning everything out. Fries came out hot and crispy, which sounds basic but you'd be surprised how many places can't pull that off. Service is genuinely friendly - looks like a lot of the staff are local high school kids and they actually seem to like being there, which makes a difference. My only gripe is the TVs are too few and too small. This place has the food and the vibe to be a great spot to catch a game. Someone needs to mount a couple big screens and make that happen.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE | we stopped into Village Burger after a walk at Newtown Park down the street…read more It was getting dark and a bit chilly once the sun went down so after attempting to sit outside with the pup, the cold go unbearable so we moved inside. I've had Village Burger a couple times before in Dunwoody and have always been impressed with the affordability vs the taste/quality. Seating was extremely limited during peak hours. We had to wait around 5-10 minutes after ordering for a table to open up. Luckily, tables seemed to turn around fast. We built our own burgers, but ended up with matching burgers. I love being able to add as many toppings as I want. And the onion rings are a must! And if you're not feeling a burger, the wings are also solid. Village Burger is still a gem in any neighborhood. Would definitely prefer some more availability in indoor seating if possible!!
