    NACHOS THE WORKS

The queso was really good on the chips, as well as the corn and pick de gallo. The steak didn't have much seasoning/flavor but it was cooked well and very juicy.

With so many amazing burrito/taco places around, I expected Bubbakoo's to come in fierce to face the competition with amazing food. I've been wanting to try it here since they've been popping up everywhere, including in North Jersey. I should have known when I walked in and saw nobody sitting or waiting in line that this was probably not going to be the best experience. For starters, there's no salsa bar like you might find in all of the main competitor's locations. Chips will run you between $3-4 depending on if you want guacamole or salsa with them. Burrito was $9. For $9 you'd expect it to come with chips or a drink at most. Our total bill came to $27 for 2 burritos, bag of (stale) chips & guac and 2 fountain drinks. Kind of on the higher side as far as price. While they make the food right in front of you, I didn't think anything looked very fresh. The beans in particular were dried up and bland tasting. Save your money and go somewhere else. There's too many other really good places around (including other chains) that blow this place out of the water.

Please dont base your view of bubbakoos on this terrible location. This is the same salad from another location

Haven't had one good experience at this Bubbakoos and ONLY this one. When ordering my Chiwawa i wasn't asked if i wanted queso or nacho cheese then the man working continues to LATHER my meal in nacho cheese, then i asked for salsa, sour cream and sriracha ranch and i was told i'm only allowed 1 sauce topping, i have never heard such a thing, then to make it all worse i had the buy 10 entrees get 1 free promotion card filled out with 10 stamps and the worker continues to tell me he doesn't know how that works and i was forced to pay 12$ for a meal i ate half of and threw out, i am extremely disappointed and will never be coming back to this location again. These workers need better training and management, the guy seemed brand new and he was the only one running the whole store, i am not bashing the worker his superiors need to do their job better!

A Red Bank must try restaurant....Kitchen Tex-Mex has outstanding authentic Mexican food…read more Ample seating can accommodate a lot of guests so I wouldn't estimate you could always get a table. The menu is extensive so there are a lot of options and undoubtedly something for everyone. Guacamole and chips were fresh, when eating the salsa the green one is rather spicy so keep that in mind (we love spicy so it was perfect). Tacos as an option is great because you can get them all the same or mix it up and order fish, pork, shredded pork and or sausage. The meat is slow cooked and accompanied by melted cheese, onions, and cilantro.....the perfect combination to dance on your Palate. The fish taco was lightly breaded chunks of fish and was not in the slightest bit greasy. I would highly recommend you order a horchata drink....it's a non-alcoholic, sweet, and refreshing drink. Horchata is made by blending white rice and cinnamon sticks in water and letting them soak overnight. After the rice and cinnamon are discarded, the remaining liquid is then flavored with vanilla, sugar, and ground cinnamon.....a must try and a drink you will crave all the time.

They also bring tortilla chips for starters with salsa. They provide a discount if paying with cash. A solid spot, would return here again to try their $2 taco special

The Mexican Street Corn was truly some of the best I've ever had...authentic & delicious. Even the salsa they give the table was awesome. The tacos were pretty good, the steak fajita dish was also very good, the Baja fish tacos were on the dry side but ok. Downsides: place is new and obviously folks are flooding this place to try them out. The staff is overwhelmed. We were seated quickly, but menus took a while because they were short whole menus. The kitchen was also overwhelmed. I saw people leaving with bag fulls of food. For $2 tacos people were likely ordering by the truckload. Our order took 40 mins to reach the table. And to be honest, I wanted more food but couldn't afford to wait close to an hour for it. I will say that the owner was walking to the tables and let us know what was going on- totally appreciated it. She also gave us a discount to help make things right which we also appreciated. We gave the discount and the tip to the waitress. The waitress was phenomenal. Clearly under pressure. She knew that we were antsy because of the wait and she really did try to be extra attentive with drinks and chips. Big kudos to her. New place going thru the growing pains. Don't give them a hard time. I'll be back and look forward to seeing them settle in.
