I was excited for CS to get a Bubbas. We've been to the one in Waco and love it! However, my first experience at this Bubbas was terrible. I'm not a fan of the loud music. We couldn't even hear ourselves think! We asked our waitress several times to see if she can turn the music down, but that never happened. As far as the food, it was good. Had a great experience, knowledgeable staff, good food, good portions, responsive staff. Thinly slight was it took probably longer than it should have to get food from the kitchen. Wife had Shotgun shrimp Po'boy with Tater tots and I had the Monte Cristo with loaded tater tots.. Both made well, filling, absolutely nothing wrong with them, great presentation, good portions and the different flavors came together well. Will be back, looking forward to trying other entrees. We have been wanting to come ever since opening! Today my fiancé and I took my parents out and we had such a great time. Our server was DIEGO and he was fantastic. He sold my fiancé on the fish and chips and man was that amazing! All of our food came out great! While it was a Sunday and super busy everyone was extremely nice and the overall vibe inside was great! Again, DIEGO was an amazing server. To say I'm shocked an impressed would be an understatement. WOW!! 14oz ribeye was awesome. The coffee glaze is phenomenal. Wife had the teriyaki wings and fries. Would have given it 2 stars but just opened so going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Our waitress wasn't all that great due to missing majority of the time but was nice. A gentleman named Keston working late tonight served our food. We weren't his table but he went above and beyond. He was well mannered & service with a smile. The other staff including Keston were the ones checking in on us, refilling drinks etc. We will give them another try. Keston is the reason we added 2 more stars. Cool vibe! Lots of T.V.s to watch Anything! Rock videos of music playing inside the restaurant, baseball, fishing, funny dog videos. It's loud, but a fun atmosphere! Drinks and food were amazing! I had a watermelon mojito and my son had a blackberry smash. Both were mixed to perfection! I had the Monte Cristo sandwich, my favorite, and it did not disappoint! We knew there was going to be a wait so we got on the waitlist and was told 25 minutes, we wait over an hour just to be told we needed to wait 5 more minutes then 10 minutes later we still had not been seated, we decided to leave due to this issue. When I got here on opening day I could tell I wasn't the only one waiting try see what this place has to offer, and it did not disappoint at all! I got the Crooked Cheese app, buffalo classic pizza, and the exotic marg. The food was phenomenal, especially that crust on the pizza. We came in at around 8:00 on Saturday night. We were seated right away. Our waiter Jesse R. was friendly and helpful. He made sure our drinks were constantly filled. Several of us guys went on the second day the college station location was open. Service was slow, but it was the second day. All 5 said their food was good. Then over a week later 8 of went. Called in to be on the wait list. Got there around 1:00, you know when people are leaving. Lunch is over. Seating us was a big issue. Ok, we finally get seated. We get drink orders in, no alcohol. Took a while. Then we finally got to order. It took over an hour to get our food. I mean the place was basically empty when we finally got our food. Some like their food, some weren't impressed at all. But the wait for it was ridiculous. Finally got out of there after 3:00. WAAAAYYYY too long. read more

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We came to Bubba's 33 just to relax and catch up with friends, two people in our group had already eaten and were just there for drinks. Our waitress, Sunday, immediately had an attitude about it. She treated us rudely from the start and acted like we were an inconvenience for not all ordering full meals. When one person in our group ordered an appetizer as their meal, she literally yelled at them. Completely unprofessional and beyond disrespectful. Her tone was condescending, and she made the whole table uncomfortable the entire time we were there. We came to spend money and enjoy ourselves, but instead got treated like a burden. I came in town for my boyfriends graduation and went to meet up with his friends. We had already eaten prior to this so just wanted to come and have a drink and hangout. Upon being greeted by our server Sunday she was incredibly rude. She ID all of us which is very valid of course she needs to check IDs but was rolling her eyes while checking them which took me by surprise but ok. When someone ordered a drink she looked at him as if he was stupid and said you know that's a Long Island iced tea (He ordered something that was no remotely close to a Long Island iced tea). When she came back to take everyone's order I explained that my boyfriend and I were not eating she proceeds to say in a very rude tone that we would not be served alcohol since we weren't eating because there is a limit. (I again understand if there is a limit that can be a liability.) however after talking to the manager it is 2 to 3 drink limit. Then when one of the girls we were with ordered an appetizer as an entree she rolled her eyes and said "you're going to get an appetizer as an entree ok." Then proceeded to role her eyes at every person that ordered after her. She then comes to ask if the others want anything else to drink and would not make eye contact with us and tell the others as if we weren't there that "they don't need anything else." Cutting us off. For 21 dollars for 2 drinks and that service is not okay at all. The manager that talked to us also never apologized but understood our complaint I hope. We came to Bubbas 33 05/10 for joint birthdays and mother's day. We had to wait over an hour. Granted, they were busy, but they refused to put two tables together. We were a party of 9. After the hour long wait, we finally get seated, and it takes 30 minutes to bring drinks. Only 2 drinks were alcohol, the rest were water, tea etc. We got there at 1p and now it is 3p and we still have not gotten our food, other than 2 appetizers. They come to the table to find out who is paying the check. We said you want to bring us our check when we have not even gotten our food. Our grandson had a basketball game at 4p. We ended up leaving without ever being served. The manager came to the table and said they would waive the appetizers, but we had to pay for the 2 drinks that were alcohol. We were willing to pay for everything; we just wanted out of there. We will NEVER set foot in that place again. We are not picky people. We just wanted to eat. read more
