Busy on Tuesday Trivia night, but Scott made all the difference. Busy atmosphere but food came hot and fresh as well as quick. The Triple Fried Lemon Pepper wings are FIRE!! The chips and queso, with the guac was spot on. About 20 4 top tables and they let you move your liking, large and small parties are welcome. Beer is cold and the drinks are on point. Went here to watch Aggie game. We had a large party of 15. We were able to get 2 tables to seat us all. Waiter very helpful and organized in taking orders and doing separate checks. Appetizers were my favorite food items. We had the fried pickles which had a great batter, we had the pretzel which was good, and our college kids had 2 orders of chips and queso. TVs are everywhere and great to have tv sound on during Aggie game. It is a sports bar so as long as that is what you are looking for, it's a good sports bar. read more

It confused them for a min, but holy moly did it taste good ! So good that I went back 2 days later and had the same thing at another location. It should become a menu item !! Absolutely horrible service. I have been a dozen times and have not seen any difference in the disrespectful help. It's not due to being understaffed or being associated with large parties. It's intentional. It's blatantly ignoring patrons when they walk in the door, when they're glasses are empty, when you see them standing at the bar without being helped. What makes the lack of intentional poor service more disrespectful, is that it is selective. Certain patrons are greeted and served with smiles and amazing service. Nice place but service is very subpar. We seated ourselves and it took over 10 minutes for anyone to even a knowledge us. Waitress was too busy visiting with friends and taking shots at other tables. When we ordered they asked for a card for the table .. gave the waitress one but told her we would be paying cash. When we were ready for the tab of course they just charged the card. Another couple joined us after we had been there about half hour and again it took over 19 minutes for waitress to return to table. Again not a bad place but service is awful awful awful. I'll start my review off by saying this is the second chance I've given this place. The first was a few months ago when me and my fiancé decided to check it out. We walked in and seated ourselves and didn't get so much as a glance towards us from the staff so we left after 15 minutes of not being acknowledged. Tonight was worse. It was a little crowded and loud but I'm ok with that. We sat ourselves and the waitress finally came to our table. She seemed like she was in a rush and kept trying to walk away while we were still ordering. We ordered a couple of drinks which apparently it takes 10 minutes to prepare a glass of water and a glass of Ziegenbock. Then we ordered the chips and queso and we asked the waitress about it twice because a good 15 minutes went by with no chips or queso. She blamed the cook and even told us he sometimes waits to send all of the food on the same order out at once. Well that makes no sense whatsoever when you order an appetizer. Anyway, to get refills my fiancé had to take empty cups to the bar TWICE because the waitress was bar tending and socializing with other patrons. She was not attentive to our table at all. We finally got our food which was barely warm except the fries. I got the Al Gore hotdog and my fiancé got the Ben Franklin Philly. If it weren't for the toppings on the dog I would've not eaten it at all. The hotdogs they use are the most bland tasteless hotdogs I've ever had. A ball park Frank has more flavor than that trash. Their ranch is some shit you get out of a Kraft bottle. When we finally asked for our check the waitress walked by our table two more times without bringing it to us so we asked the guy waiter to bring it and he did immediately. He also took our card and rang us up and returned it to us immediately. He was very nice but that was the only good thing about this place. And after reading all of the negative reviews it looks like there's a common factor of shit service that management still hasn't fixed. It's obvious that if you aren't a frequent flyer of this place then you aren't going to get good service. This place needs a staff overhaul QUICK. Not to mention it's not enforcing precautions for covid. When we were walking towards the door a couple of guys walking out overheard my fiancé say something about finding his mask and they said "oh you don't need a mask they won't make you wear one" and sure enough they don't and all of the tables are packed close together. I went last night for the first time ever. It's a cool place - small, but cool. I went to watch Thurs Night Football with a friend. Nice décor with plenty of TVs, plus CHIVE TV playing, which is a plus. The bar is large and appealing, and has a very wide selection of liquors, and they make special, high-end drinks. I saw one of the bartenders making a "Smoky Old Fashioned" by burning an oak block with a torch, and then smoking the glasses with the smoke. This place could be really cool, but the bar staff was neither friendly nor attentive. I don't think I saw a single one of them smile even once. And they didn't pay attention to our dwindling or empty drinks -we had to flag them down to get refills. The food was okay - I had a shrimp cocktail in which the shrimp was not great, but the cocktail sauce was unique, with a sweet tequila flavor to it - not really my thing, but it was interesting. I also had a Caesar salad, which was also out-of-the-ordinary - it had black bean and corn salsa, and a dressing that was very good, although the salad was a bit overdressed.
