Went here to watch Aggie game. We had a large party of 15. We were able to get 2 tables to seat us all. Waiter very helpful and organized in taking orders and doing separate checks. Appetizers were my favorite food items. We had the fried pickles which had a great batter, we had the pretzel which was good, and our college kids had 2 orders of chips and queso. TVs are everywhere and great to have tv sound on during Aggie game. It is a sports bar so as long as that is what you are looking for, it's a good sports bar.

    Not too sweet just lovely!

Awesome staff! Loved the atmosphere food and fantastic drinks! Great espresso martini btw!

UPDATE: Revisited here tonight after a break and the service made all the difference Kaelyn was spectacular. She provided honest opinions about various menu and drink options. The food was awesome and served hot. If you haven't been here in a while give it another shot as they just upgraded their menu to reflect a larger variety of options.

The place is easy to find in the food was very good. It was lots of room for parties and the noise level was not too high.

We made it just in time because there was no wait and the restaurant wasn't crowded yet. We were greeted by Connor, who was a pleasure to have as our server. He made great recommendations and gave us his honest opinions about the food and drinks, which we really appreciated. I had the citrus chicken, while my family ordered the mushroom ravioli and spaghetti. Everything was delicious, and the fresh-squeezed lemonade was wonderful! I also tried a lavender mocktail. It was okay, although I think it may have tasted better as a cocktail. By the time we were ready to leave, there was a wait, so we were glad we arrived when we did. There is also plenty of outdoor seating if you prefer to dine outside. We really enjoyed the flavorful dishes, the friendly service, and the overall experience. We'll definitely be back again!

Nothing special with the escargot, but it was still delicious. The crispy brussel sprouts were good, but the balsamic glaze through my family off lol, but I still loved it. Nothing special about the pepperoni pizza at all. The melted Raclette was really fancy and delicious. They came out with melted cheese and scraped it onto our bread and prosciutto. Palo Alto dip was weird, but pretty good too. I don't think I've ever eaten anything like that. The bow tie pasta was ok. The Citrus Chicken and Beef Bourguigon were very tasty and flavorful. Overall, a bit pricey, but the food portions were generous and the quality on some of these dishes were worth it. The staff here were fast and friendly. Lots of tables to dine at to include outside in a tent, buuut it's summer so indoor sounds better lol. Lots of parking as well.

I tried a couple of drinks out in the 2 days. I tried the Sour Hour and the Famous 1791 Old Fashion. The Sour Hour drink was recommended by the male bartender that was working on Thursday night. He was very knowledgeable and kind. It wasn't too strong, great ratio from alcohol to juices. I will get that again. On Friday night, I went down to the bar again to try another drink. This time, I can't leave College Station without trying the 1791 Old Fashioned. All I can say is this particular drink is in my top 3 hands down and I had many old fashions in my time working at my current job (on my day offs, of course). They put a teaspoon of brown sugar to tone down the strength of the Whiskey (Buffalo Trace) but not for the Whiskey to lose it's purpose. I will most certainly get it again. They also have a food menu just in case you want to order something to eat. Next time I'm in College Station and staying at The George Hotel, I'm coming back. Good job everyone that worked, this past Thursday and Friday night.

We were seated quickly and our waiter was very attentive, and was patient and understanding as we were still waiting to see if some business colleagues were going to come. The ambiance was upscale with luxurious appointments throughout. We ordered the seafood tower (10/10). I ordered the Old Fashion with Buffalo Trace (9/10) and it was prepared just the way I like it. For my main, I ordered the Braised Short Rib (9/10), which included truffle potato cream and cipollini onions. The short rib was cooked so well and was tender and didn't need a knife to break apart! I finished it with the chocolate dessert (9/10) that was like a molten lava cake. It was delicious and a great dessert to finish the meal. As a bonus, we got to partake in some fine spirits (10/10). I heard someone mentioning that this might be finest restaurant in College Station - but I will let you be the judge of it. Restaurant offers huge wine list, a book style. Keep in mind that looking for the "second cheapest wine" will not work there - price points a randomly distributed, so you really need to look for a decent wine at decent price - our choice Il Borro Pian di Nova at $80 had reasonable QPR. We had a number of appetizers - not bad on average, but non stood out. Arugula and pear salad had strangely off putting flavor. I had pasta bolognese with wagyu beef sauce and it was good, no complaints. Good service, prompt and friendly.
