He made great recommendations and gave us his honest opinions about the food and drinks, which we really appreciated. I had the citrus chicken, while my family ordered the mushroom ravioli and spaghetti. Everything was delicious, and the fresh-squeezed lemonade was wonderful! I also tried a lavender mocktail. It was okay, although I think it may have tasted better as a cocktail. By the time we were ready to leave, there was a wait, so we were glad we arrived when we did. There is also plenty of outdoor seating if you prefer to dine outside. We really enjoyed the flavorful dishes, the friendly service, and the overall experience. We'll definitely be back again!

It wasn't too strong, great ratio from alcohol to juices. I will get that again. On Friday night, I went down to the bar again to try another drink. This time, I can't leave College Station without trying the 1791 Old Fashioned. All I can say is this particular drink is in my top 3 hands down and I had many old fashions in my time working at my current job (on my day offs, of course). They put a teaspoon of brown sugar to tone down the strength of the Whiskey (Buffalo Trace) but not for the Whiskey to lose it's purpose. I will most certainly get it again. They also have a food menu just in case you want to order something to eat. Next time I'm in College Station and staying at The George Hotel, I'm coming back. Good job everyone that worked, this past Thursday and Friday night.

It's not worth showing up & someone is sat on an awkward corner or we are smooshed together at a table. It was for my bachelorette, so that's their loss!

Well it's been awhile now, and after all the bar is even better "gabby" who i later found out real name is mabby hulick isn't reading poetry anymore but she is till there making great drinks. Crappiest bar in college station. None of the servers were wearing masks. The bar was packed with no social distancing. If you want an alt-right bar to go, to this is your place. They do have a nice selection of beer and I suggest drinking a SnakeBite which is Guiness mixed with a cider. The restraunt next door is connected and serves food to the bar as well. I haven't tried the food, as I am a pescatarian and haven't seen anything that interest me on the menu. Its German food I think.

You can sit anywhere you want and they will bring you a menu, but you have to go up to the bar to order. We both got Michelob Ultras and it's only bottles. They do not have draft beer. I'm not sure about other drinks. We ordered the sancho burger which had chorizo and a fried egg on top. I have never had egg on a burger but yum! We also got the loaded tator tots that were so piping hot when they came out we had to wait until they cooled off some. The atmosphere was nostalgic. There wasn't a bunch of people, but there was a variety of ages of people from young to older. Music wasn't so loud we couldn't hear each other. I can definitely see us coming to watch some football! I tried the Sour Hour and the Famous 1791 Old Fashion. The Sour Hour drink was recommended by the male bartender that was working on Thursday night. He was very knowledgeable and kind. It wasn't too strong, great ratio from alcohol to juices. I will get that again. On Friday night, I went down to the bar again to try another drink. This time, I can't leave College Station without trying the 1791 Old Fashioned. All I can say is this particular drink is in my top 3 hands down and I had many old fashions in my time working at my current job (on my day offs, of course). They put a teaspoon of brown sugar to tone down the strength of the Whiskey (Buffalo Trace) but not for the Whiskey to lose it's purpose. I will most certainly get it again. They also have a food menu just in case you want to order something to eat. Next time I'm in College Station and staying at The George Hotel, I'm coming back. Good job everyone that worked, this past Thursday and Friday night.
