I have had consistently great experiences when ordering curbside pickup. The food AND service has been exemplary. Today we decided to eat in and the 15 to 20 wait turned into 40 minutes. That is unacceptable! As several groups enter and are seated their reason to us was short staff. We're finally inside so the story is TO BE CONTINUED... Was 3 until... we waited for our entrees and saw call ahead seating on one of the many screens. That sounds like reservations without a set time. Now I know better and will do better, the next time. Double check your bill, especially when using coupons. We visited on a major holiday where they sent out free appetizer coupons to members. I ordered the appetizer and mentioned the coupon to our waiter. When the check came I saw a charge for the appetizer. I politely pointed out the mistake and they left to fix it. No big deal. When they came back they said "I already added this other deal and 'the system' doesn't allow you to use two deals". He said both coupons were for the same amount. Thinking about it later, no they weren't. The appetizer I ordered was $10. The "deal" he added removes $3 from my meal. Maybe it was a mistake in his calculations as the deals weren't equal. This isn't the first time there was shady stuff going on at this restaurant. We bought close to $300 in gift certificates around Christmas time one year because they offered an extra $25 or $50 in certificates. What they neglected to mention was that these were paid out in $5 increments and 1 use per visit. Meaning it would take 10 visits to redeem all of them and they expired a few months after the new year. Their "system" has also caused issues in the past. I took my kids for a kids' night. Email clearly said 2 free kids meals for each adult entree. Their system wouldn't allow it. I had to show the email to the manager several times. "OH, that must be a mistake! I'lllet it slide this time". Uh, thanks for giving me what YOUR STORE promised. Nevermind we'd been going to their movie nights for several months as we enjoy their food and appreciate them offering small things for the community- but they need to hold up their end. They either need to stop offering their coupons that don't really work or actually address their broken "system" so the offers THEY PUT OUT are accepted. read more

First time at this restaurant. If you're craving a juicy delicious burger this is the place that will satisfy all your cravings. Their tots were amazing. Service was surprisingly outstanding for a burger joint. And the restaurant was lively, entertaining, family oriented environment. Excellent food and service. I've been hearing a lot of great reviews on Bubba's and I finally had the opportunity to check them out. It was 45 minutes prior to closing when we arrived but the staff greeted us with excitement. Our waitress (Maggi) was attentive and upbeat. The food came out on a timely manner and the quality was excellent. The Ribeye was very good and on the level of some of the five star restaurants we've dine such as Gordon Ramsey's. My husband was craving a "juicy burger" so we stopped here to try this place out! We were given a booth in the bar and holy moly the bar was an ADHD struggle. There was probably 20 (?) TVs, all the ones in my line of sight on different channels, and excessively loud music. However, the music was good, so I'll give them that. Our waitress was friendly as well. We ordered the cheese fries as an appetizer and a burger and Stromboli for our meals. The cheese fries were banging. Legit spot on, I will probably be back just for those fries. The Stromboli was okay, and the burger was decent. We split the brownie sundae for dessert, which was also really good. Overall, a solid experience. I honestly did not know what to expect coming to this place because it looked like any other American restaurant, like Applebees or Red Robin, but this place definitely exceeded my expectations. I had gone on a Friday night and the place was completely packed with people and had a lively atmosphere with the music and videos on the tv screens. We were greeted with such amazing and kind servers who made such great conversations with us throughout the night! They always made sure we had everything we needed and felt comfortable since it was our first time coming, especially the manager. We even got a free app coupon on our next visit. The service was absolutely terrific! As for the food, the food is always made fresh and you can definitely tell by the taste. The boneless wings and onion rings were phenomenal, especially the sauce that came with onion rings. The Meaty Meaty pizza was delicious as well and the crust was really chewy! As for the burger, the meat tasted really juicy, but the burger as whole did feel a little plain. My husband and I visit Bubba's pretty often but not as much as I'd like. I really love the variety of food that they offer and rather decent prices. It is an awesome place to catch any game as they have multiple TVs in every room that you can see from any seat (dining room and bar area). The bartenders and servers that we have had are always attentive and friendly. Last night we had Tiffany who was excellent. She was friendly, got our order accurate and was there for refills and anything we needed without being overbearing. We started with an order of boneless mild wings. They were really good. My husband brought out his inner child and had the chicken tender platter with fries and a side salad. I had the California Chicken which is my absolute favorite! I order it just about every time I am in. I paired my meal with broccoli and a side salad with honey mustard dressing. In the past we have tried several other appetizers which were awesome. The onion rings are super crunchy and fresh and come with a delicious dipping sauce. I also love their garlic knots which are full of flavor. My husband loves their pizzas, specifically the Meaty Meaty Pizza which is equivalent to a meatlovers pizza somewhere else. He almost ordered one to go last night. The pizzas are always fresh and super tasty. The beer is always served super cold in a frosted mug which is the icing on the cake for Bubba's. Like I mentioned earlier, we wish we could visit more often and highly recommend Bubba's to anyone looking for a great decently priced meal. read more

I came here for the first time this past weekend later at night and I really enjoyed myself. The customer service was excellent! Our server was very attentive and helpful, as well as the server she was training. I thought the decorations were a bit cheesy but kinda cute lol. They have a full bar, plenty of parking and lots of bar seating. They also have booth seating that is a little ways away from the bar if it might be too noisy for you. The food was pretty good too! The seasoned fries I got were fantastic, and I got the fried fish sandwich which was good. I loved the tartar sauce it came with. The pizza my friends got was delicious so overall the table was very satisfied with all of our meals. Everything was very affordable, I only spent $21 for what I got + tip. They do have a lot of TV screens facing all directions, so that can be a bit distracting. It's not a quiet kind of restaurant, more like a busy bar kind of place. Another plus is that they have a machine you can use to pay for your meal and add in your tip. You can split the bill evenly and you don't have to wait on your server to ring everything up either. read more

I visited Bubba's 33 Columbus weekend. Found 2 seats at the bar for me and my guest. This was my 1st time here as I am from NJ but visit MD at least 4 to 5 times a year. All I can say is I definitely enjoyed my dining experience. Amanda the bartender was amazing. The manager was friendly and interactive and the hostess was very welcoming. Let's start with the drinks. I had a whiskey bound. Perfect blend with the perfect strength of alcohol. Very good. My guest had the strawberry Jalepeno Margarita. It was very yummy. The food while it was just your regular finger bar food, was surprisingly amazing. The onion rings were everything. Very good. And all the food we had was flavorful. I give 5 * because of Amanda. She explained the menu, exemplified good customer service and makes a great drink. I now have a new restaurant to go visit when in MD!! I will be back and I recommend. read more

We were excited to try this place at the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, we found that this is another huge disaster produced by the folks who brought you that mess known as Texas Roadhouse. First off, the music in this place is ANNOYINGLY loud. Unless you like to scream at your dinner guests across the table, I suggest you avoid this place. Hearing our server was likewise nearly impossible. Televisions are EVERYWHERE, for no reason at all. I almost got Vertigo just sitting in there. Enough with the TV's already. There is not a foot of wall space without a television. I don't need this much forced stimulation during dinner. I'm not an Adderall addict. Booth seats are low, tables are high. If you're smaller stature, you'll need a booster seat. Not being funny. Someone goofed when they designed this place. Table is at about high chest height. Very uncomfortable. Our server was very sweet, but I am not sure what the malfunction with the bar was. it took us 20 minutes to get our drinks, and another 15 minutes to get refills after our glasses were SITTING EMPTY. Then, when I do get my second drink, it's wrong. By the way, a "double shot" of vodka neet was laughably small. I mean, like, RRRRREALLY small... like, ridiculously small to the point where I would have been embarrassed as a server to bring it out. Men's bathroom was filthy with piss all over the floor. Bear in mind this was a slow Sunday night. Food was mediocre at best. Fried Mozzarella is laughably tiny, looked like cat turds, not joking. Medium rare burger was well done. Fries were cold. Pretty below average food. Bill came to over $200 for three people. Not sure what all the hype is about, but we will not be back. Total fail. read more

First off I must say that this place has amazing staff and we were treated wonderfully. Now for the food I ordered the chicken tenders and fries with macaroni and cheese while my girlfriend ordered the bacon avocado chicken sandwich and let me tell you both were absolutely amazing. The food came out super quick and was hot and ready as if the cook had made it directly at the table. Super tender chicken with amazing fries and I don't know what seasoning they used but it was to die for. The macaroni and cheese was so tender it was amazing to enjoy down to the last bite with amazing seasoning and good cheese pull. As for the bacon avocado chicken sandwich my girlfriend told me that it was amazing and cooked to perfection. Nice and tender chicken with crispy bacon and creamy avocado Along with amazing seasoned fries and a nice and crunchy pickle. Our Waitress who I believe is named Hannah was extremely professional and was the most Courteous waitress we have ever experienced while dining anywhere. We found this restaurant after a failed movie date attempt and this completely made up for it was not expecting to be at an amazing food spot but we wound up with an amazing food spot and will definitely be back here for more. Saturday afternoon worst experience i have ever had . I sat and had dinner with my older uncle . The check was presented at the table on pod . He tapped througt the bill was payed . We left . Unknowingly i forgot my phone came back , aak was a phone found . Was told my manager will bring it . She came out with my phone in hand a states you didn't pay your bill . I said let me get him out of the car . Ask for my phone , she states not until bill in paid . I said my personal property has nothing to do with this . While leaving the Maryland Science center with the family I decided to explore a bit. I look back at the mini boss of the house and I ask...what do you want for dinner? Although the restaurant was moderately full we were immediately seated...while being seated by the hostess a question was asked..."is this your first time?" We said well yes it is...she responded that she would let our server know... Our server Ms. Peggy was awesome...she appeared out of no where with a welcome to Bubbas speech...what I can tell you is that bubbas is known for there cold beer, stone oven pizza, and double burgers...and don't forget the wall to wall TVs...Ms. Peggy made me a believer lol. Everything we ordered was delivered fresh and hot...very rare nowadays but according to Ms. Peggy they hired extra hands in the restaurant to support the servers...I thought that was awesome...btw they have a kids menu and of course there are burgers listed. I particularly liked the garlic knots and boneless wings over the pizza. Just a preference...but the pizza wasn't bad either... Our first time at Bubbas 33 and we had such a good experience! We got sat quickly on a busy night to start which was impressive. I watch our server get triple sat and she handled it so well. She stayed calm and gave great service. The drinks and food were delicious. We got hot tenders and bubbas fiesta dip to start and we're fighting over the last bites! Fish and chips were so crispy on the outside and flakey on the inside. My husband got the Buffalo chicken sandwich and loved every bite. Will definitely come back next time we are in the area. I would recommend this restaurant even though I personally haven't eaten there yet. I will be making a visit soon now that the weather is getting better. The reason for the recommendation is due to my Daughter, teenage grandson, and a few of my daughter's friends frequenting this establishment quite often (approx. 3-4 times per month); after every visit I ask how they enjoyed their meal and the answer is always positive. Checked this place out on a Wednesday night and they were pretty busy but we were seated within 10 minutes. Definitely a bar atmosphere - very loud, lots of TVs, darker lighting. The seating was comfortable. We ordered the chicken nachos for our app and they were delicious. It was a perfect amount and didn't fill us up before our main courses. My husband got the mushroom burger with onion rings and I sampled some of their Dickie V pizza. Apparently they make their dough in house and you can tell. The onion rings were solid as well. All very tasty. Since this was our first time the manager came over and introduced herself. She was incredibly nice and gave us a coupon for a free app for our next visit.
