We wanted to try a new place for lunch and I'm so glad we did. Bubba's has a very inviting atmosphere. Several large tv's through the establishment and great music. There is also outside seating which is appreciated since our weather is getting nicer. They have a nice big menu with something for everyone. We ordered fried pickles for our appetizer. They were sliced thin and had a nice light taste. They were not greasy or salty which is so common these days. My husband ordered a blue ocean Long Island ice tea. Drink was awesome! I'm particular when it comes to Long Island's however this one is sure to please the fussiest. I ordered the fish sandwich which was delicious! Cod fried in Samuel Adams Boston Lager, it doesn't get any better than this. Such a light taste that I didn't even need any tarter sauce, the fish was that good! Their fire fries have an awesome crispy seasoned coating also very good! Hubby ordered the bacon avocado sandwich. He said it was very flavourful and the marinated chicken was on point. As stuffed as we were I had to try dessert since everything else was so good. We ordered the turtle mud pie and oh my!!! It was so good that I literally couldn't stop eating it. Bubba's 33. I just can't get enough of this place. The bar is the scene and where I always eat. The burgers are perfect. The beer is ultra cold and staff is very friendly. I have yet to visit Bubba's where the bar wasn't completely packed. My step-son and I play hockey Thursday nights at Peoria Ice and we hit Bubba's to beer-up pre-game. Our wine (not whine) group got together at Bubba's 33 this week and had a great time. I did feel a bit sorry for the place as they obviously are short staffed due a limited amount of people accepting employment. That being said the server we had did all he could to keep our group supplied with drink and food. He did a great job. Tuesday is pizza special day and many in our group took advantage and eagerly devoured pizzas of every variety on the menu. Food was great but the service was not great it took 30 minutes for them to bring out onion rings!!! They took it off the bill without asking that was nice. Have eaten here several times , but today was first time having brunch. Their classic breakfast - eggs ( how you want them) Applewood bacon( perfectly cooked and thick slices) just right crunch tater tots( a nice change from hash browns) and an amazing biscuit that looks like a scone and a raspberry spread, I would like to have jarred up and taken home if it was available. Once we sat down we were greeted warmly by our server Chandler who had personality plus beaming. We were given an overview of the appetizers and specials for the night. Came for dinner after a long day and our server Serafina was welcoming and informative. Unfortunately our at home alarm was triggered so we had to get up and leave before our food was out we let our server know and within 5 minutes she had our food ready to go and we laid and left. This is a restaurant that doesn't know what it wants to be. Is it redneck? Is it Italian? Is it a sports bar? A Mexican restaurant? A Hard Rock Cafe? The decor is confusing. Menu is burgers, pizza and Italian food mainly. The burgers took forever to arrive. Over $10 each. Greasy and tasteless. The 'bubba sauce' wasn't on them although it was listed on the menu as being on the burgers. There were gnats or fruit flies all over. Usually I've found that this happens when fruit is left uncovered by bartenders. I won't be going back. Too bad. This place won't last. read more

We went to an event in the parking lot Saturday night and brought our service dog but forgot water; we stopped in and asked if we could get water for her and they put it into a togo bowl for us. After the event we went in and got dinner, the hostess Sydney helped us out by getting more water for our service dog and even transferring from a styrofoam bowl to a ceramic bowl because we accidentally knocked it over. So I have never had a bad experience here but today was the day. The waitress was great and my burger was not. We have had the same waitress a number of times that's how I know she is great at her job and really friendly. My burger only had one patty and I wanted two so back it goes along with my friends that needed the right cheese. She told me that the cook was making me a patty to go with the other and that's what was wrong. You can't keep fries and the burger hot that long. So I just said I don't want it now. Sooooo, we really LOVE this place! Have been 3 times now and our whole family loves it. There is something for everyone, foodwise and entertainment wise. I have 3 little boys and there is always cool action videos or funny pet bloopers on the tv's, football for us adults too. Staff is amazing. We have taken notice to the quality care and attention you get when you are seated and assigned a waiter or waitress. Food is great, like I said above, something for everyone.
