Epic wings in Rancho Cucamonga is a popular destination for those seeking a straightforward,…read morehigh-quality wing experience. This counter-serve local chain distinguishes itself by focusing on freshness, notably serving chicken that is never frozen and breadsticks made from scratch daily. I love the generosity of the sauce application, with flavors ranging from classic Buffalo and tangy sweet chili to mango habanero. The "Epic Chicken Fries" are a top-rated choice, featuring hand-cut fries topped with chicken, melted cheese, and a chipotle ranch drizzle. Standard combo meals are well-regarded for their value, typically including bone-in wings or tenderloin strips served with two soft, oven-fresh breadsticks and a side of veggie sticks. For something different, the "Pizza Sticks" utilize the restaurant's signature fresh-baked breadsticks topped with buffalo chicken and mozzarella cheese. True to its 1982 roots, the restaurant does not use freezers, heat lamps, or microwaves, ensuring that every order is made fresh. The menu still features the same core items that built the "Wings N' Things" empire, including tenderloin strips, double-dipped wings, and signature fresh-baked breadsticks. Overall, Epic Wings is praised for its consistent food quality and friendly, fast service. While some guests find the heavy sauce application or salt levels to be intense, it remains a highly-rated spot for wing enthusiasts in the Inland Empire. Also, they have a sweepstakes going on right now that you can get free wings for a year if you win. Enter on their website.

First and last time -- beware the dipping sauces…read more I really wanted to love this place, but my first visit turned into a genuinely awful experience that I have to warn others about. We placed a takeout order with two 6-piece wing combos, requesting ranch and blue cheese along with an extra side of ranch. When we got home and opened everything up, all three dips looked like ranch -- but one of them was a noticeably darker yellow color. My husband smelled it immediately and knew something was off. The other two didn't smell fresh to him either, so he warned me not to eat any of it. I wish I had listened. I avoided the yellow one but ate the other two ranches -- and within 30 minutes I felt extremely ill. We're talking serious nausea, Pepto-Bismol, Tums -- the works. I was praying I wouldn't throw up. It was a miserable rest of the day, and the fact that even the "normal looking" ones made me sick that quickly is truly alarming. To make matters worse, the wings themselves were underwhelming, the breadsticks were disappointing, and even the veggie sticks didn't look fresh. Nothing about this order met even basic expectations. How does a restaurant send out ranch dressing that has turned yellow? That's a food safety issue, not just a quality one. This was my first and last visit. I would not recommend.

I was able to eat here around 7 times in the past few months and wish I could've eaten more. It was just that good! I hope that the husband and wife owners can get their much needed rest now, they deserve it. They always greeted my girlfriend and I with warm smiles and were always generous with their portions. While we were there, we learned that they will be closing down soon. Their last day is 6/28/2026. If you love chicken, come give them a try before they close down. The great thing about this place is they have over 30 different flavors to choose from. We ordered the: - Saigon 22 Herbs & Spices Wings and Chicken Tenders Combo - Tandoori Flavor Wings and Chicken Tenders Combo - Cajun and Jamaican Jerk Flavored Wings All the Combos came with one side and a drink. Didn't have to wait long before the friendly owner brought out our foods. Service was quick and the restaurant is nice and clean. Wow, the wings and tenders are bigger than most chicken places we've been to. All the four flavors we tried were very tasty. The portions were so big, we ended up taking the rest of them home. Overall, we enjoyed eating here. It is just unfortunate that they will be closing at the end of the month.

We ordered like…read morewe were taste-testing for a Food Network special: Saigon Street, Dragon, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Buffalo Stampede, Jamaican Jerk... on bone-in, boneless, and tenders. If it could hold sauce, we ordered it!!! Every single batch came out fresh, crispy, and so hot it felt personally offended by the concept of room temperature!! For real!! Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, basically the wing equivalent of hitting the lottery six times in a row!! Not a single dud in the lineup!! Nope, none!! And let's talk about Wing Wednesday: 85-cent boneless wings!!! At that price, self-control simply isn't an option!! It's less of a special and more of a public service. If you love wings and enjoy flavors that are exotic and actually have personalities, this place is waiting for you!!! Their wings are so good you'll need to clear your schedule and emotionally prepare for a second round tomorrow!! These wings are absolute fire!!!

The biggest issue was that my chicken wings still had pin feathers and feather shafts sticking out of the skin. That's a quality control issue that should never make it to a customer's table. I sent my first plate back, but it honestly looked like the same plate was brought back with more oil or sauce poured over it. The pin feathers and feather shafts were still there, so nothing had actually been corrected. Even though the waitress tried to make it right the kitchen didn't put in any effort. My wife works in the restaurant industry and said the sauces should be kept at a certain temperature stored and she thinks they weren't because the sauces have separated so there's oil on the bottom and the wings looked colored but my son said the flavor didn't stick to it, it was oil an chunks of butter so I don't know what's up with that also. I couldn't get past the feather stocks attached and lack of preparation. I've eaten at Hooters for many years and have visited locations all over Southern California. Before COVID, I regularly went to the Riverside location until it closed. I was disappointed when I saw several other locations had also closed, including the one near Angel Stadium. When I found out the Ontario Mills location was still open, my family and I were excited to go. We even planned to order a large amount so we'd have leftovers to enjoy the next day. Unfortunately, the food was nothing like what I've consistently received from Hooters over the years. The wings didn't meet the standard I've always associated with the brand, and finding feathers still attached to the chicken made the meal unappetizing. When I brought it to the staff's attention, I expected a fresh replacement, not what appeared to be the same order returned to me. I don't blame the waitress because she really tried to make it right even saying it was something she wouldn't want either. I hope management takes this seriously. But if the manager was the girl in black she never left the bar where she was hanging out with a guy in conversation the whole time we where there but that's if she is even the manager because the manager never came over to talk to us. I've always been a loyal customer and would much rather leave a positive review than this one, but this experience was not acceptable and left me very disappointed. It really grossed me out!

But today I wanted something a little different and found this place. In addition to the big honking pieces of perfectly breaded chicken, they had some delicious red beans and rice on the side as well. The fries were okay--seasoned pretty well and not super thick or thin--and the cornbread was pretty decent as well. But the real draw is that unbelievable chicken. I was a lot disappointed that they didn't have fountain drinks despite having a machine. It doesn't feel like a satisfying meal unless I have access to adequate soda or juice. Part of me believes that more and more restaurants disconnect their fountain drinks to stick it to you with cans and bottles of soda each time you get thirsty while eating. And this pretty much guarantees this will never become a regular spot because it's irritating to be super thirsty but not wanting to haul your ass to the register to purchase another semi-cold van of soda. The service was okay, if a little sparse. My server only checked on me two times--once to drop off the food and to check on me when I looked obviously about to pass out from dehydration. The space is nice too with a lot of booths for my liking. Like some mom-and-pop places there was a lone fly buzzing while I was trying to eat dinner but that could be an aberration. It was also hinky that I was the only customer dining in. I was starting to think the food wouldn't be all that spectacular or mentionable. But I was glad to be mistaken. Maybe if they ever fix the fountain drinks I'd come back. But without that it's just no kosher to be constantly of thirst and have to pay for 3 or 4 cans of soda to satiate it. It's not worth it.
