We brought my daughter here for her first haircut and it went so well! We were able to book an appointment pretty easily. When we arrived they had both doors open for air flow, barriers between each cutting station, and everyone was masked. We felt safe the whole time and well taken care of. Deborah is a total pro and gave my daughter a great haircut in a short amount of time. The salon is super cute and each station has a screen ready to play cartoons to help keep your child distracted. My daughter barely cried but I could tell Deb wouldn't have been thrown off if we had been met with a meltdown instead. We did the first haircut package which was $38 and while a bit pricey I was happy with the result. You get a framed picture and certificate to take home and it is so cute. The employees were super helpful and I was happy to support them, especially during these tough times. I highly recommend Bubble Cuts and will happily bring my daughter here again. read more

I have been coming here over 3 years minimum and today was the worst experience with one of my daughters. My 2 yr old daughter got her hair cut by Scarlet, which by the way has no personality to be with children, and she ruined my daughters hair. First of all when cutting someone's bangs, I would think it will be a courtesy to ask how long or let me know if this is ok before using the scissors!! No she simply cut away and my daughter's bangs are close to half of her forehead wet!!! Do you know what that means when dry, more short, more ridiculously short!!! I told her like 10 times you cut her bangs too short and she would ignore me, I know there nothing she can do other than me never coming back. I'm horribly disappointed UPDATE: The manager, Cherish, did call me the next day and apologized on behalf of Scarlet, which I greatly appreciate. That is all I wanted, some kind of acknowledgement of what happened. The manager did offer her self to be my daughter's hair dresser moving forward, which is pretty great since she is the one that cut my eldest daughter hair that day. I will keep this in mind when my little one's bangs grow out. I will bump up my start to 2 stars, until next time. So thank you Cherish for taking ownership! Maybe I will see you soon. My child was so excited to go to bubble cuts as they had heard from friends it was a fun place. When we finally went we were impressed by the design. It's really cute and fun! They immediately asked them "what tv show do you want to watch?" Which is a kind of odd thing to ask of a young child that's in a new location. We found all of the staff to be short with relatively flat affects- very little enthusiasm or warmth for a place serving children. The haircut itself...absolutely horrible. I could've done the same terrible cut using my kitchen scissors. Every day I look at it and feel disappointed I let them do that to my child's beautiful hair. Extremely overpriced for a 5 minute ridiculous attempt at hair cutting. I don't recommend unless it's the only way to distract your child while cutting their hair. read more

Just had my son's first haircut today! I've been told by my other friends with kids that the first haircut is usually a cry fest for the little one. My son was not an exception. However, Deborah was very pleasant and patient with him, trying to distract him with bubbles and lollipops--neither of which worked, lol! But she said more than 90 percent of boys cry during their first haircut, and despite how fussy my son was throughout the entire process, I'm amazed that she still managed to keep it even, and more importantly give my son a super cute haircut! I first have to say having two little girls I've been to kid salons across the county just to try them out...and if you've seen one you've seen them all right? I'm in South Pas so I have quite a few options closer to me than Bubble Cuts but I choose to go to Bubble Cuts. I've had nothing but amazing experiences each time I've visited. As a children's salon it's fantastic ! It's so colorful and whimsical ...the chairs the kids sit on are toy cars. The kids can watch anything they choose on Netflix while they get their hair did. They can play before and after in their play area...which is great btw. On top of that my little diva's they can get a mani or pedi..which I've done on special occasions . I've taken my girls to the regular nail salons and not all of them are kid friendly so I'm iffy to take them when I do. Bubble Cuts has a friendly staff and the girl who does nails is so sweet and gives them a 5 star service...really? Maybe I should get my nails dont there too...now that I think of it. Anyhow as far as customer service goes I'm happy and even happier with the hair cuts .....so much so that I get my haircut there now too. Yes I said it! I used to only go to higher end salons and get my hair done by "Master Stylist" ...I had a bad experience with a stylist who was my hairdresser for years but he went batshit crazy with my hair so I never went back. She does a fantastic job ...I'm happy with her skills ...I find my hair grows even longer when she cuts it...weird but true. I found Bubble Cuts after searching for kids hair cuts on Yelp! I am sooooo happy we found this place! They not only gave my daughter a fantastic haircut, manicure, and pedicure but the staff went out of their way to treat my little girl like a princess! They have cool cars to sit in while getting their hair done, as well as Netflix at the stations. Their main tv in the play area is connected to a media server and they can pull up just about any movie/cartoon your child requests! Markers on floor tell you where to stand and keep distance from crossing line and getting to close.
