Very basic boba shop. Nothing special. Boba had nice soft texture but absolutely no flavor. Milk tea was bland and luke warm. Omfg. I am so disappointed in the service that I received tonight. I ordered the taro slush with boba and after waiting 15 minutes for my boba, I got into my car, left and because my boba was lit disgusting I felt compelled to go back and return it. I don't ever do this but it was a must this time. So, I went in and I asked the man if I could get a refund, at this point I don't want boba period. He shakes his head and walks away and starts opening the top of my boba I gave back and pours it back into the blender... At this point the pervious customer comes back in and just informs the man that his boba isn't good either. The customer doesn't want a refund but just wanted to inform the guy and that's when the worker says he can't give refunds. And I just look up like what? I ask him, so I can't get a refund and he said no but I can make you a new one. And I told him I didn't want a new one, would there be any way I could get store credit. He said there's no way and I just walked out. HORRIBLE and he was unapologetic about it which made it worse. Just go to Tapioca Express - it's a safer bet. read more

Personally....I wouldn't come here again. The drinks were good, decent but the tapioca pearls were not sweet at all and were gross. It was like they just put in boiled tapioca. The workers are very nice though and the drinks came out quick. read more

Decent bubble tea place. It's very obvious they use pre-made mixes (which is pretty standard, I guess). The pricing was on-par with most other bubble tea places (large drinks are upwards of $5). I'm not sure that I would ever return because it wasn't remarkable by any means. But if you're in the neighborhood and craving some boba (even late night), Bubble Tea will definitely hit the spot. read more

Got two large smoothies, I was extremely polite and even tipped, but I must have missed when he asked if I wanted boba in them and added it. Afterwards I let him know I didn't want the boba and considered paying for two more. But then I realized that I've never seen a business who made a drink or food item that the customer didn't want and then would let them pay again for them to make it right. read more

I was desperate to find a good boba tea place in North County after my boyfriend took me to Tea n More in San Diego. We decided to try this place, and were pretty happy with it. The store is a bit cozy, but it's clean and inviting. The staff was very friendly and patient, I watched them deal very graciously with the woman in front of us who seemed a bit confused with the menu. They were happy to answer my questions and took our order quickly and accurately. We waited just a few minutes to get our drinks (there were two orders ahead of us), and they did get our order correct. I got a honey milk tea with no boba (I don't really like the texture of boba), and my boyfriend got a plain boba milk tea. My drink was very yummy, the drinks at Tea n More are just a tiny bit better. His boba was slightly overcooked (but he said he prefers that to slightly undercooked), and his tea tasted a lot like coffee! I know he doesn't like coffee, but he assured me that it's very normal and he is used to boba places making it that way. If you don't like coffee though, I wouldn't get the plain boba milk tea! there's another bubble tea in oceanside. that one has some lady who sells crepes inside. this one doesn't. that's the main difference. everything else is exactly the same. the bubble tea isn't bad here. i hate the atmosphere though. it seems like a hang out spot for D&D kids that think boba is the most exotic thing ever and love to order super complicated drink concoctions. read more

This place sucks literally. They don't have much flavors and they have poor customer service skills. The lady who worked the cash register was young, but did not speak an ounce of English so I had to repeat my order several times. I like this place... used to be a regular my first few years of college. I think they make the best thai tea ice cream boba evarrrrr. Better than any of the thai restaurants I've been too. Maybe it's because they add ice cream... and it's thicker than regular thai tea. But yeah, they have a huge selection of what to choose from. It used to be THE hangout when I was in high school. Do you ever go somewhere after soo long and nothing's really changed? A decade has gone by since I started coming here and probably 9 years since my last visit. It was to my knowledge the first Tea Lounge that served Boba in North County so before kids were going to Starbucks to study and be accepted they were coming from Palomar College to hang out here between classes as campus food was wack. If you were Asian or just into milk tea or boba you were coming here. The flimsy hollow aluminum uncomfortable chairs are still there and the menu really hasn't changed except added a few food items and a few new flavors. Heck even the picture on the frames are from that day and age. I almost always used to get Honeydew milk tea with boba, large as they could make it. Now I get the same thing just regular. I was amazed to find out they are now open to midnight every day. Granted I doubt they open up starbucks early and I don't know about their Wifi, but if you remember the days of spiked hair and nautical jackets you might want to step back in time and feel young again or really old for a few minutes. read more

This is the worst boba place I have ever been to!! And I do boba almost daily!! I ordered the taro milk tea, it was the so disgusting I took one sip and threw it out. On top of that the place was full of clutter. I was hesitant to even purchase from this place but I had to give it a try. The customer service was horrid! First time here! Definitely not a great first impression! There was only one person working, she was in the middle of cleaning and didn't greet us for a good 5 minutes! While taking our orders and answering questions, she was not friendly at all! Couldn't even crack a smile! Lighten up its Bubble tea! While waiting for our 2 drinks we sat on one of the two very outdated dirty pleather couches that had an awkwardly placed table in between them. The decor of this place is thrift shop garbage at best! I definitely won't be coming back! The two boba drinks were mediocre... Powder and syrup! The boba tasted stale! Had to buy an additional drink after my daughter did not like the boba in hers. Had to wait for the ONLY person working on a Saturday afternoon to make 5 drinks ahead of our redo! It literally took 20 min! I should have just asked for my money back at this point...lol Not sure how this place is still in business! Must be the cheap rent?! It's decent..definitely doesn't compare to more of the quality boba spots in mira mesa but its right down the street from my house & their green tea/macha is pretty good. I never knew what bad boba was until I visited Bubble Tea. Their boba has no flavor whatsoever and their drinks taste too sweet and artificial. I was really upset that I spent $4 on a milk tea with boba that was not up to par. I used to go to Bubble Tea years ago and it's definitely lost it's charm throughout those years. I'm originally from Vancouver, BC and just moved to this area from Seattle, WA; so having said that, I'm a huge Boba fan! I search it out wherever I am and authentic Taiwanese boba is the best. This place is super authentic. I do wish they had fresh fruit smoothies as they do in Vancouver, but I guess I will just have to live with my jumbo milk tea with triple boba order that I have on a daily basis. The workers here are definitely beginning to know my face having only lived in San Marcos for about 1 1/2 months. Service is quick and friendly...and this place is very clean.
