Food : Tried a few different things with the fam 1) ramen at the sushi place : horrible. Noodles weren't good and the broth didn't taste good either. Big fail. 2) Mediterranean place: tried the rice bowl with chicken and wife had the Greek salad with chicken. Chicken didn't taste good or Greek. Bowl comes with a choice of sauce .. green fluorescent sauce (not sure what gives it the coloring) it was ok. Garlic sauce was better. Whole dish lacked authenticity .. e.g. they use black olives instead of Kalamata olives (not good). 3) Seoul Food : tried the Korean meatballs with rice. Basically dried up meatballs with sushi rice sprinkled with plain chopped lettuce, for $15 btw.. feel bad for these guys. Pricing is off and the food is not very good. 4) finally, wife grabbed a "pineapple" cheesecake from the cheesecake place. Almost barfed.. 5) the wine station didn't even have anyone attending it. Just came here with a few people and we each tried different restaurants and we all enjoyed them. I got the sassy cat roll from the sushi place and it was very good. It was very clean and not too loud but it wasn't that busy. Cole was working the bar and he was very sweet and made us his favorite drinks which we enjoyed. This place has failed me not once, but twice they post their times online but every time I show up there within the times that they're supposed to be open they are closed. All chairs are up on the tables and I've been turned away by some employee or another I understand it is their first week in operations, but if they can't even stick with their own times, what is the point of trying a third time read more

I really liked the idea of this while it was being built. We moved in across the street, shortly before they opened. Love that it had late hours because my husband and I normally work late. The only problem with that is, no one stays open until their marked hours. For example, we went tonight to grab sushi around 9, mind you, they don't close until 10 & they were already finishing up closing. (This happened a couple weeks ago as well) Another restaurant was already closed. I understand working in the food industry and it being dead and wanting to get out of there but you have to be able to serve your customers until your scheduled hours or what's the point? Honestly we've disliked new Albany since we moved here because everything closes so early and this didn't help. I've gotten the sushi there in the past and I've been craving it and the last two times we've been able to go late and they've been closed so it's disappointing. Stopped in Friday for dinner and the energy was lively, bright, open and friendly. It has the vibes of an elevated, grown up mall food court bustling with cocktails and after work meet ups. I loved the ability to explore a variety of food options although they are currently lacking seating space. I noticed they have a large area of seating visible from the outside but they didn't have it open yet. My husband ordered from the chicken spot and I snagged some BBQ. We were lucky to score 1 of the couple table outside and enjoyed dinner in the beautiful weather on a slightly shaded patio. We came back on Sunday just to check out the Cheesecake Girl and we're hoping to sit outside again to enjoy our sweet treat. Sadly though, they had pulled the patio tables and there weren't any outside to sit at. read more

We came for dinner super early around 4:30 on a Saturday, right before a huge rush of customers. Plenty of parking spaces and clean indoor seating at that time, but as we were leaving, the hall and parking lot were packed. We tried Hoyo's Kitchen, Faye's crepes, and Seoul Kitchen. Food came out quickly, really enjoyed each dish. My babies especially loved the beef meatballs with rice from Seoul Kitchen and the strawberries n cream crepe. So excited to have more ethnic cuisines to choose from in New Albany now (hope they can get a Vietnamese restaurant and an asian coffee/bakery shop in the future! Please?!) Would love for a large outdoor patio that's child and dog friendly as well! Will definitely be coming back to try all the other restaurants. read more

My boyfriend and I enjoy coming here. It's the best of both worlds since we can never decide on what we want for dinner. There's a variety of "food truck type" restaurants, pizza & tacos, chicken, bbq, and sushi. There's also a bar and a gift shop. Occasionally there is a live band outside. Tonight we took my family and they really enjoyed it. Inside is a large area, food court style. Parking outside is great and we have never had a problem with it. This is a new food court in New Albany that is similar in style but on a smaller scale to the North Markets in downtown Columbus and in Dublin. It is certainly a welcome addition to New Albany as the area has been lacking in local fast casual options. The options here include sushi, ramen, chicken fingers, pizza, Korean, Greek, and Somalian street food. read more

All the food vendors here are good. Good assortment of a variety of food types . If this place , bubbly hall, is going to survive , perhaps the owner , landlord , etc .should put some better , larger signage on the outside of the building . Driving by , one can hardly tell what the building is . Its always empty ,...feel bad for the vendors inside. read more

We've been to Bubbly Hall a few times now and each time have really liked the food at Mr. Hummus Grill and Pizza. The shrimp tacos are especially good. Their pizza is a generously-sized slice, and we liked both the cheese and pepperoni versions. The hummus is delicious and their pita bread is good too. Only comment to the negative is that I wish they had raw veggies to eat with the hummus. Definitely our favorite vendor in the hall! We also were there on Wine Night and had wine flights from Wyandotte Winery and Rockside Winery. The winemaker was there to tell us all about the wines and they were delicious. The service is fast and the diversity of the place in terms of food was pretty nice. They had BBQ, Lebanese, korean, sushi and ramen, and even a bar. The food is good I had the Lebanese place and they had a good burger and the fries were also pretty good. It is definitely a lot more expensive than your other conventional food halls. Went last evening. Very disappointing. It is basically a mall or airport food court. Loud. Have to eat inside if consuming alcohol... Expensive. ($10 beers anyone?) I get the concept, but you need a downtown before you can justify a North Market type eatery. The layouts of both the parking lot and building are confusing and will lead to traffic if the crowd ever picks up. The selection is limited and so far we've been thoroughly underwhelmed with the food. Sushi was bland and edamame was cold. Mr. Hummus was about as authentic as a gyro at McDonald's. And the prices were beyond outrageous for what was served. I'd like it to be more, but this self-described 'place for foodies' has a long way to go before it can live up to that name. read more

Amazing food of all types!! and great service with a great atmosphere. The art on the walls is incredible too so even if you don't get anything it's nice to walk around and check things out, or grab a mini cheesecake and chat with a friend. I had Hoyos Kitchen and it was AMAZING highly highly recommend. If you're in the area and want to splurge on some sushi or chicken or African food this is the place! I am hoping that as Bubbly Hall evolves, there will be more diversity in food, as there are in other places like this- for example, Hispanic, Italian , seafood, quality bakery, ice cream/gelato. I am concerned that space-wise there may not be a lot of room for significant expansion. A side note for one establishment where I ate- disappointed in Hoyo. Food was good but luke warm, Also, don't serve the last remaining meat from your serving bowl- needs to be fresh. Pricing through out Bubbly is much higher than it should be but that sadly is happening everywhere. read more

Went to Bubbly Hall yesterday. More parking than expected, so 2 stars for that. Inside is a different story. Being all open, it is VERY noisy and the chairs are uncomfortable. Bought a Just Chicken meal there and took home. Disappointed there too. Chicken tenders were so so (Raising Canes has nothing to worry about), too many fries that looked dark, but were limp and Cole slaw was not tasty. Included a yeasty roll that was chewy and tasteless. Charged an extra 75 cents to try Just Sauce in addition to honey mustard (which was watery). May try other vendors but will not eat in. read more

It's my first time here in a restaurant/bar setting like this, so yes, I have questions! We had 5 in our group; 3 of us arrived first, followed up by the last of the group, maybe 20 minutes later. It wasn't very busy upon our arrival Friday night around 5:45. We initially sat the bar as we were excited about the whiskey tasting that was advertised. I was expecting a rep from the distillery to be there or someone with knowledge of the tasting. Nope! Winter came up to serve us, I was asking questions & she would give me this blank stare, maybe answer one or two of my questions then walk away. I asked if there was table service, no, she's the only person working the bar. Ok - order my beer then we decided to move closer to the music. Friends who wanted the whiskey arrived, they weren't too impressed with the offerings. Angle Envy won hands down of the 3 tastings you received for $20. Some of the group ordered food & raved about it; big plus!! The attitude and poor service had us out the door within an hour of arriving. The music was great!!! read more
