Come noon the next day I had not received a phone call from A1-Auto informing me that the tires had arrived. I called the shop several times but no one picked up. I went down to the shop and arrived at 12:30 P.M. Dan stated to me in a very rude fashion: "I told you to be here at 12." I informed him that he did not tell me to be there at 12, but instead that he stated to me that he would call me when the tires arrived and that I should then come to the shop after I received his call. Dan then informed me that the closest appointment for rescheduling was 3 days away which was too long for me to wait. I then asked for a refund which I eventually received but still had to pay a $60 tire restocking fee which I shouldn't have had to pay because it was Dan's fault for not calling me to inform me that the tires had come in, which is what he said he would do when I initially paid for the tires. This place is a ripoff & they steal their customers' money. I instead took my business to Midas of Catonsville and received prompt, courteous & competent service.

I can't say why I was treated that way, but the interaction left me questioning whether bias may have played a role. They also have not reimbursed me the @170.00 for the tow and coolant I pay for because they didn't secure the coolant hose properly causing it to disconnect in which my BMW lost all of its coolant while driving. Food for thought. When Horizontal Motors was "working on and repairing my BMW" it seemed like with-in weeks after every time my vehicle was in their shop something else would break down or had to be repaired. Since I left them the ONLY things I have to have done is the basic maintenance. Go figure.
