Awesome. Big sandwiches for little money!! I got a simple turkey club and it was incredible. Two nice ladies were serving behind the counter. They took my order quickly, asked for options, and I had my very delicious sandwich in just a few minutes. Buddy's is very easy to get to, in a small plaza just on South Camp Meade Road. It's pretty quiet; I sat at the counter but they have several small tables as well. For a simple lunch I'll definitely be back. read more

Buddy's used to be a great place. The staff is still very nice which is one of the reasons it pains me to write anything less than good. I also want to say that I get everything has went up these days...utilities and leasing prices are high. However when you make a decision to raise your prices, nothing really should change about your offerings. I was really hoping that the latest reviews were exaggerations, but unfortunately they are not. I'm really shocked because we go to a place in Arbutus on the weekends which is also owned by lovely Asian people. The sandwich and fries are roughly 12 bucks. My husband and I SPLIT that half sub as it is so chocked full of meat (no exaggeration to that either....it's falling on the foil when you are eating it!!) and I have actually put the fries away for another time....oh and by the way that price includes gravy for the fries! You used to get a fair amount of fries at Buddy's.....today, the bag was maybe 1/3 full-and we are talking a very small white bag. No included ketchup. I've never asked for it before, it was just in the bag. Today there was none. Medium soda was included. Price was $13.62 before my added tip. I love the people there, but the price is not worth basically a bread and veggie sandwich with very thin meat. If you look at my picture of the sub, you will see what I ate in the bottom of the picture. There was no meat left in the last three bites! I was really shocked when I watched the gal put on the three provolone cheese pieces, because they were not even close to an actual slice, not to mention that they were actually thin enough to see through!!!! Nope, as much as this pains me, I have to vote with my cash. This isn't like a downsized box of cereal or ice cream that we are all suffering through.....this is a meal. I can't do this. Went to sit down and was anticipating promising food, because we had this place recommended to us. Sat down at the counter. Waited a couple of minutes watching 3 people behind the counter do various tasks, no "I'll be with you in a minute", etc. Found it confusing considering we were 1 of 2 parties in there. After a couple more minutes of being completely ignored, no menus given to us, I decided I couldn't give money to an establishment who wouldn't even give us the time of day. Disappointed because I was looking forward to the food, but the service was ridiculous. Probably the worst I've encountered in Linthicum. Maybe takeout is great! But dining in is a no go. Delivery Review: I was staying in Linthicum MD for business the past week and read a few reviews of Buddy's. I was craving Steak and Cheese and decided to give them a try. I must say, they were by far the best i've had in the area!! They had the hot sauce to their mix which gave the sandwich the perfect combinations of taste and spice. Their cheese was DELICIOUS and the portion of the meat was well proportioned. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who lives in the area or is just stopping by for the day/week. First...let's set the record straight. Do not expect to see a deli counter like you see in New York, Chicago, or even Los Angeles.....they sell pizzas and sandwiches....but no deli counter here. HOWEVER...they make a very good pizza. If you order in person...the owner...Buddy...(duh), rolls out the dough and forms it in front of you...no pre made and formed dough here.....the crust comes out medium thin...or is that medium thick?...cripsy on edges and bottom. The toppings and cheese are generous. The large pizza is larger than the standard large Dominoes and Pizza Hut PLUS the prices are a buck or two lower . This is a true mom and pop shop. The place is run down but the food is good. This is not a date stop.... If in the area and you want take out pizza... this is the place. read more

Another day, another meh experience in Linthicum. Next victim: Buddy's Pizza & Deli in the Shipley Linthicum Shopping Center. The restaurant is small; there are a couple of tables for small groups to enjoy the dining experience, along with a couple of stools overlooking the cooks in action for individual eaters. I've heard that pizza here is something to die for. Well, my taste buds would like a word or two with the falsifiers. I tried out a couple slices of the pepperoni pizza ($1.90/slice) which I would say was OK at best. While there was very minimal sauce, the dough was soft and chewy, and the pepperonis were plentiful. The photo supplied within this review should give you an idea of what to expect. After about a week, I came back and got a small chef salad ($4.95) to complement lunch that I already had, and that was just OK as well. The chef salad had sliced ham and cheese rolled together up on top of iceberg lettuce, along with assorted onions. While both items are not outrageously-priced, I won't be in an eager rush to get either item on my next visit. That's if... there's a next visit to begin with. read more

This place gets 4 stars just for the amazing grilled chicken cheesesteak sandwich (not the regular chicken, the grilled chicken mind you). As far as the restaurant itself, is a total hole in the wall and very run down. Basically a tiny long room with counter service, a couple barstools, and a couple rickety old tables to sit at. Not a date place by any means, but the food is delicious. The grilled chicken cheesesteak sandwich was SO good that I am having it again today! Bad for my diet, haha. It's spicy, too. Mmm. The owner is a very nice Asian man and I think his wife makes the food. Stop here and then get a Keller's donut next door, and you'll be happy. read more

This place is pretty good. We order pizza from Buddy's a couple of times per month and haven't had any issues with the service or the pizza. The flavor is pretty good although I do have to doctor it up a bit with some garlic powder and parmesan. But we will continue to order pizza from Buddy's. read more

Pretty much the best cheesesteak you can get outside of Philly. It's in a strip mall and no frills but good food quick. Service is always excellent and I have never gotten bad food. It's a pizza/deli and food/service is always consistent. If you want fine dining go to the Ritz. read more

Had the shrimp cheesesteak on Pita bread, and that was a first for me (I went off plenty of recommendations from coworkers). It was delicious. Figured I would stop in and try them out since I had to go to the post office next store, even though I honestly didn't expect much. Glad I did stopped in. Today I had the turkey pita with bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and raw onions, - with hot peppers "on the side." It was delicious . It had a very generous amount of sliced turkey along with the extras. There was a bit too much mayo for my taste but I should have ordered it on the side. I was a little disappointed in the onion rings. They were the small minced onion kind. Best to stick with the fries which are good. I have ordered from Buddy's many times . They have an excellent grilled chicken sub, cheeseburger sub, and Italian cold cut sub. The chicken salad on toast is also very good. I wouldn't say this place is terrible, but I also wouldn't go back. I went there with some friends recently to have some pizza and was underwhelmed. The first ten minutes was spent listening to the owner and the cashier yell back and forth at each other in Korean while we tried to order. When the pizzas came it was nothing special, and for some reason I expect it to be at least slightly memorable when I pay fifteen bucks for a twelve inch pizza. The other pizza was more of the same. Had a breakfast sandwich delivered recently to work; it was ok. Nothing special, nothing great, nothing horrible. Bacon had a bit of un-edible parts, so I had to spit out a bite or two. Good amount of egg filling; bacon & cheese seemed a bit light. Not that it was horrible, but I'd probably rather make my own breakfast sandwich with a flavored bagel (everything) vs. ordering from them again. I'm not sure if they have flavored bagels or not - I didn't place the order. Prices are very reasonable though, so perhaps I should try a lunch option; a friend says they have some really good lunch sandwiches. read more

Everyone makes mistakes so I called Buddy's to advise they delivered what I did not order. The person on the phone stated "I did not hear you ordered a chicken cheese steak". plus I had co-workers around and heard exactly what I ordered.
