So. I gotta be honest. I had high hopes for this place after it was featured on a reel. But, I was so disappointed. Ordered the Italian. Nowhere does it say it comes with weird stuff on it. Idk if it was tuna or chicken or what; but it was weird and watery. Second, the whole sandwich was the soggiest thing I have ever eaten. I literally couldn't. I ate the meat because I was starving and threw everything else away. My wife had the salad. Not hard, right? Boy was I wrong. Dry. Tasteless. Not prepared. And, they forgot the dressing. It hurts my heart to review like this. All the old heads at my job have fabulous memories of this place spanning the last couple of decades. But I fear their heyday has come to pass. Recently got a pizza. Zero flavor in sauce, like straight up just tomatoes. No salt no oregano nothing save for the red fruit. Cheese was off or cheap or something too. Then I tried the famous Italian sub. It's huge. The dressing is like 60% cheese and delish, the rest was just ok. Nothing stand out about it. Final straw was the shrimp salad sandwich from this past Friday, maybe it's just me but a shrimp should taste like a shrimp and not the refrigerator in which it was stored for the last who knows how many hours. Eww man fridge flavor for ever!! It was bad! OK, yes the shrimp were big but they also weren't cleaned or deveined, and well yeah refrigerator taste that lingered. Literally 15 minutes after I was done eating a single shrimp.. Gross. Hard pass going forward. read more

I was in the area for work and I stopped in here for lunch as I was craving a turkey sub. This place did not disappoint. There's seating if you want to eat in. You pay first and then you can take your seat. They will call your number when it's ready. I took my food to go. Service was fast. The people that work there were kind and helpful. The food was absolutely good and hit the spot. First of all, I don't think I have ever had a sub this large. I got a turkey sub with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, American cheese, and mayo with a bag of chips. The sandwich and the chips came out to about 18 bucks. Trying to bite this thing was a feat in itself, but the sandwich was really really good. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area engraving a sandwich. They have other options as well, including hot food. I'm probably gonna try one of their cheesesteaks next time. read more

I am so mad about our experience here. It was awful. $40 down the drain. When I regain my composure I will get into specifics. But here's a snap shot... There was a patron there that was so obnoxious. He was annoying all the customers. So eating inside was out of the question. I work in a bar, so I have a high tolerance for annoying people. This was over-the-top. The workers did NOTHING to fix the situation. My order came out wrong. when I asked about it, the cashier touched my food with her hands. Not acceptable. I couldn't take the food home because I was going to work where outside food is not allowed. I was not going to eat a sloppy sub in my car. I was looking forward to enjoying it IN THE SHOP! Italian Cold Cut Pretty good amount of meat. A crap ton of raw onions and lettuce on top. Tomatoes were too old. The bread was really chewy. The house made dressing was the best part of the sub. If you do order make sure you eat it quickly so it won't get soggy or get the dressing on the side. They sell the dressing by the jar so go grab some of that and make your own sandwich at home. French Fries A large portion. You get a bag full of fries. Bland in flavor, so just okay. Cooked to order which was nice. Service Still family owned and operated. Friendly mom and pop shop. All in all the food was just okay. You're really going to support a community staple, that's been passed down from generation to generation for over 50 years. read more

Been coming here for over 10 years the food is consistently delicious of course the Italian cold cut is My favorite it is stuffed and flavor packed with plenty of oil vinegar spices and glorious parmesan , I do recommend eating it there or soon after because the sub roll can get soggy . Cheesesteak is also a top item one of the best you will get . Pizza is great nice size cheesy pies. Fries and onion rings you cant go wrong . Service is good they know what they are doing , Family friendly atmosphere from the staff . 2 of the 4 sandwiches ordered were wrong and one was burned grilled bread when we specified DO NOT GRILL the bread, the other missing condiments. When politely called to tell them how disappointed we were the lady (original owner), passes the phone to man, we explained that we couldn't drive back, their response: "sorry mam". no offer to correct, replace and or drive to us. Our company has bought lunch from this place for years but after this experience, no more. I guess they don't really care if they lose a longtime supporter because they offered no replacement or service to deliver in their car, as we drove ours to them for pick up. sad. never again. First time visit here because a friend told us they have great onion rings. I ordered the Famous Italian Cold Cut Sub and split an order of onion rings. The sub was a sloppy mess it was drenched in oil that went everywhere when I unwrapped it. The bread was mushy from all of the oil. I asked for house dressing I didn't ask them for the Exxon Valdez oil spill LOL. What an absolute mess. The onion rings were actually delicious though actually. The staff was really friendly. They had a lot of very cute Christmas decorations. I wish the food was good. I don't plan to go back unless I just want an order of onion rings. They can keep the rest of their messy food. I am editing this review to add that the food that I had from here aggravated my stomach so badly that I woke up in the middle of the night with acid reflux and I didn't get back to bed until it stopped which took about two hours. Johns Italian Deli is known for their huge Italian cold cut subs and that's exactly what I got!! I love Italian cold cuts and there's not many good options for that near my work. Parking can be a little bad if you come during a busy time. They have parking on the side of the restaurant which is fine but if those spots are full, you have to park in the back. It's a gravel road and very uneven. Their signature cold cut was about $10+. A little pricey but you get your money's worth. The sub itself is pretty good. They bread is soft, meat is flavorful and they don't skimp on the toppings here!! Definitely try it if you love Italian cold cuts. read more

This is my second 5 star review because I can't get enough! This night, I ordered the classic cold cut again, and my boyfriend ordered a chicken Parm sub. Out of this world delicious! I also wanted cheese fries, but I didn't want a lot/the cheese to make the fries mushy, so I ordered a cup of cheese on the side. I don't know what kind of cheese that was, but oh my God, wow. I was expecting the bland yellow cheese you normally get on "cheese fries" but not this! It was flavorful, like Nacho cheese, but not spicy at all. So good!
