We rented a car from Budget while visiting the Tri-Cities. Three weeks after the car was returned we were surprised by an email from Budget stating that our credit card was going to be charged for glass damage. When we returned the car there was no noticeable damage and Budget has not been able to produce time stamped evidence of this damage. i will NEVER rent from the pasco airport location again. i rented a car with prior damage in july of 2024 and returned it in the exact same condition i received it. i have spent numerous hours on phone calls with various representatives from this company after several attempts to charge me more than $1500 stating that i was in an accident in this vehicle. i was finally told in august of 2024 by an agent that there in fact was prior documentation of damage to this vehicle and that the matter would be resolved. fast forward to 2026 and i am now being sent debt collection papers for the same charge. i will NEVER rent from this location again. read more

(12/27/24) I had a terrible experience with Budget at the Pasco Airport location. When we picked up our rental car at 5:05 PM on December 26, 2024, we specifically asked the agent multiple times if we could return it at 5:00 PM the next day at the Walla Walla Airport to match the 24-hour rental period. The agent assured us repeatedly that it was fine and refused to adjust the agreement, even when we asked her to. We followed her instructions and arrived at the Walla Walla Airport at 5:00 PM to return the car, only to find the office closed. After four stressful phone calls with different support agents, we finally resolved the situation by dropping the keys in the dropbox and parking the car with the other vehicles. Despite all this, we were wrongly charged for two days, a late return fee, and a fuel charge--even though we filled up the tank before dropping it off. On top of that, my $250 deposit is still missing. A third support agent we spoke with later apologized for the original agent's mistake and promised to adjust the booking, but the charges remain. This entire situation was caused by poor communication and lack of accountability from their staff. I strongly do not recommend Budget at these locations. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere! UPDATE 12/30/24: Still No Refund and Missing Deposit Following my initial review, I wanted to provide an update on this situation. Despite spending six hours on the phone with four different agents over two days, I was promised refunds for the extra day and late fee we were wrongly charged--yet I've seen no refunds processed and my $250 deposit is still missing. (Please note I was assured it would be processed by today over the phone -- yet the same false charges were processed despite this) To recap: * We were charged $236.90 USD despite only having the car for less than 24 hours at a rate of $41.99 per day and paying $85.36 for cover and insurance. * We followed the agent's instructions to drop the car off at 5:00 PM, but we were still hit with a $20 late fee even though the office was closed when we arrived. * After several agents assured us the issue was fixed and refunds were being processed, nothing has happened--no refund, no deposit returned, and no response to any of my emails. I cannot emphasize enough how unprofessional and stressful this experience has been. It's unacceptable to keep customers in the dark after promising resolutions. Avoid Budget at all costs--I wouldn't wish this hassle on anyone. read more

Beware and never forget to take pictures and videos. About 1 month ago I rented a car from Budget at Pasco WA airport. Check in and check out is quick and easy, I'll give them that. I rented a car for 48 hrs and only drove it for 19 miles. The day I returned the car, it was in the same condition I received it. I then headed to the waitting area to check in to my flight back home. 2 weeks later I received an email from Budget that there was damage to the glass/windshield and I was getting charged $559. I called costumer service, they had no notes under my file or pictures of the damage. I then emailed Budget only to find out they take no pictures of windshield damage. Can you believe this!! They are falsely accusing me of damaging the windshield and as of today they charged my debit card $559! First time I rented from them everything went smooth, 2nd time not so much. I am so upset. I came to Pasco and needed steel wheels to drive my butt to see KISS last night. The renting process was extremely fast & easy. Other than a small walk to there fleet of cars I rented my car & was out of the parking lot in 10 minutes flat. Try that at LAX! Upon returning I just parked in any stall, walked my way back into the airport and handed the dude my keys and I was done. Perfect! My car was clean, filled and ready to roll. Bad news first. Management is awful at the desk. If you have problems, contact their Customer Care - don't even try to speak to the manager. Rented a car, returned early, was promised a refund....didn't happen. Car wasn't clean or sanitized or full at pick up also had mechanical issues (stuck on cruise - almost wrecked). Manager at desk did not offer more than 25% coupon....and refused my refund. Good News!! Called the Customer Care team. Spoke with Emilio and told him my issues. He was AMAZING! Saved this customer, I will rent again (we do frequently) from Budget and would recommend. NOT because of the local service, but because Budget will stand by their customers and make it right. Rent local but if you have issues, don't expect resolution without calling corporate. read more

I flew into WA from CA to care for my dad who has pancreatic cancer. I rented a car with budget in Pasco when I arrived at the airport. When I got to the car it was filthy. The car was not compatible with my iphone at all. I was having to constantly look down to see directions for gps on my phone itself. Today I realized that the car had expired tags! I don't have the luxury of time to try to fix mistakes made by budget. I called to address the issue and was told that a tow truck would be out to pick up the car. I was instructed to call budget back after the car had been picked up and budget would send another car out to me as my dad lives 40 minutes from the airport. I did this and was then told very rudely that budget doesn't deliver cars and that would have to go back to the airport to get another car. Now I have a sick dad who I need to take to and from the hospital except I don't have a car to do that with. read more

Very rude felt like we were bothering him. Got super upset and gave us attitude and ugly looks when i told him i had accidently parked the car in the wrong parking lot (first tome ever renting a car) Just took the keys and didnt even say a word not even a have a good day as we walked away. read more

Rented from Budget at the Pasco airport. The car had 65000+ miles on it and was filthy inside. Hair ties wrapped on the shifter with long hair stuck in them. Windshield so dirty on the INSIDE I had to stop and clean it myself so I could see at night! No washer fluid with duck tape holding the washer solvent bottle top on! Car smelled like cigarettes, weed and Porta-Potty inside. Drove it 5 days with the windows open. NEVER AGAIN! I would have been totally embarrassed if I was on business and had a customer get in the car. Good luck! read more

I recently rented a car from the Pasco Airport Avis/Budget for a business trip. Upon returning home I realized I had left my sunglasses and case in the rental car. I called the agency and was told they would check on this and would call me back. Honestly, I didn't expect a return call. Within an hour the agent I had spoken to, Zoey, returned my call and confirmed that they had my glasses and that I needed to contact her manager to arrange shipment. Her manager, Christina, also responded to me within a short period of time with directions on how they could get my glasses shipped out. My sunglasses and case arrived within a week of my original inquiry. This wasn't just Zoey and Christina who did a fantastic job but the entire team at Pasco Avis/Budget...thank you so much for excellent service! read more

WILL NEVER AGAIN USE THIS RENTAL COMPANY, NO MATTER WHAT STATE I AM IN!!! Pasco, Washington at the TRI Cities airport. I recently used this service and opted for the gas mileage package/$54.44. I was told that if I kept the car mileage under 75 miles, I would only have to pay a flat fee of $14.99. I WAS IN TOWN FOR A CONFERENCE 4 MILES AWAY FROM MY HOTEL...the car mileage used was under 65 miles when the car was returned. AFTER seeing no adjustment to my bank account, I called and spoke with the them in regards to this. I was told by the location that he did not see such an agreement...I wanted to speak with the supervisor, after a lengthy wait I was told no one was available. I asked for the corporate number (1-800-582-9791). I called their corporate office...The agent told me that I returned the car at 100 miles! (exactly 100 miles??? Suspicious).......That was a complete LIE!!! I barely left my hotel!!!! I purposeful kept the car under so I could get the cheaper rate. When I returned the keys, the agent said I was good to go, no additional paperwork was given to me. I asked about the adjustment and was told that it would be taken care of....It disgust me that you can't take companies at their word. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE A VICTIM OF BUDGET CAR RENTAL! read more
