Alamo generally also has the best deals as well.

The rude, condescending "branch manager" from the airport. Unfortunately she is not someone I'm open to talking to. I'm normally the type to give people several chances but after seeing her treat the man before me poorly, and then myself? That was enough for me to know any further interactions with her would be the same. Another big reason to look into Turo. You won't have to deal with the corporates trying to pass the buck and now have eventually passed it back to the the ground where the problem employee is calling me directly! It's scary. I asked if it would be within 30 minutes and the Enterprise staff member said, "Yes." She asked if I had any unavailable times and I said I had an appointment in Richland at 2:00pm to sign for my car to be towed to the collision repair shop. She said it would not be a problem and that I would have my rental by then. I called Enterprise at 1:06pm--no answer. 1:18pm--no answer. 1:30pm--no answer. I got a ride from a friend and left my house for my previously scheduled 2:00pm appointment. I received a call at 1:41pm, an Enterprise staff member was at my house to pick me up. I told her I had been waiting for over 2 hours and now they were going to have to wait for me as I had an appointment across town at 2:00pm. She apologized which was appreciated. I told her I would be available at 2:30pm and she could come back then. 2:31pm I received a call from Enterprise saying they were going to DELIVER the car to me! HOMERUN!! 2:39pm Mirna delivered my car to my house, went over all the details and SAVED my experience. THANK YOU MIRNA! The car was upgraded to a 4 cylinder SUV. It was dirty on the outside, fairly clean on the inside. I have no problem with this rental vehicle. I'm very happy Mirna took care of the situation.

I returned my rental car at Spokane, which was clearly noted on my reservation. Simple enough -- except getting a receipt turned into a nearly all-day ordeal. The Tri Cities desk told me the car hadn't been checked in yet and couldn't issue a receipt. Spokane confirmed it was checked in at 10:15 AM -- right when I dropped it off. So I called Tri Cities back. That's when things got really bad. I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes. I hung up and called back. Eight times. No answer. I left two voicemails. As of writing this review, no one has called me back. All I needed was a receipt to submit for a business expense reimbursement -- something that should take two minutes. To make matters worse, I contacted Hertz Corporate hoping they could step in. I was told that because this is an independently operated Hertz location, Corporate could not assist me. So there is essentially zero accountability and zero recourse for customers. This experience is completely unacceptable. Their reviews online are fully consistent with the treatment I received -- I wish I had read them before booking. I will never rent from Hertz again, at any location. Don't waste your time or money here.

The last review is almost 2 years old as well. I've been renting vehicles through Hertz for many years, but I have always booked and paid ahead for my rentals via AAA membership. Maybe this has something to do with never having a crappy experience, except maybe a longer wait time once in awhile. I have rented vehicles in Temecula, CA; Buffalo, NY; Knoxville, TN; and Kona, HI. I have always received what I ordered, with a couple times getting a free vehicle upgrade. I have never had any monetary add-ons needing contested. The vehicles have always been clean, inside and out. This Hertz was no exception. The pick up and drop off went without a hitch. If anything "negative" was had it was the young lady I interacted with at the time of pick up didn't have much of a personality, but I wasn't there to make friends anyhow. With everything having gone smoothly I will be the 2nd person to give this beat upon Hertz the 5 star rating.

I just want to make the consumer aware about what is going on with this agency before you falls in to a frustrating process.

Loved the car! We had to go to my niece's wedding in eastern Washington state and rented a mini van to help with all the caravan of family to and from the site. The car was comfortable and easy to use. We picked up at the airport, the only thing, is there should of been at least one more person at the check out desk as the line was backed up and took awhile. Nonetheless, we got our car and we were happy to rent from National and will rent from then again. I'm an Emerald Isle member but in such a small airport I was assigned a van...which was fine by me. I also had a change in my itinerary and the online service changed my reservation without any headaches. Thanks again to National! read more

The staff at National in Pasco have raised the bar in customer service. At the counter, Maira is always there for the customer. She makes sure that you get your loyalty points and she always makes sure your vehicle that meets your needs. It is incredible that she remembers your first name when I visit Pasco quarterly. All 8 National counters that I visited in North America in the last year are good, but the Pasco counter always exceeds my expectations. My family and I were more than satisfied to reap the rewards of past use when I was able to claim several "free" days in the vehicle of our choice (a Suburban). Recognizing that there was an insignificant cost in terms of taxes for the rental period, it was essentially free. We enjoyed the use of the vehicle. They have great communication skills, helped me through the insurance process and spent lots of time walking me through the trailer so I knew what to expect and how to work...everything...even things I didn't even know about. Outdated but clean enough. We were thankful.

We found a better rate and then booked with BW. I submitted the form with screenshots to prove the price difference. Please see below for the advertising of price match on BW website. The screen shot of the better price. And the price of bw for the same day. We put on the reservation we had a service animal but upon arrival they were very short stuff us and proceeded to bounce us around rooms to accommodate the animal we had already informed them of. And they proceeded to charge an Additional $250 local fee. We had moved to spokane but were in the area to sell our home. Not locals but they didn't listen. In the end they charged us $434.00. For a room that was not the one advertised or that we paid for. When the price match peeps got back to me they have only argued with me over the price match. They said the price had to be available when they reviewed it days later in order to price match. Meaning my limited low price on Super.com was no longer available 3 days later so they won't honor it. Even with a screen shot. See emails below. Then they told me the super.com was sold out and that's why they wouldn't honor. Then told me it was not a better price. So they wouldn't honor it. See below the price difference is clear. BW before tax: 164.15 Super before tax 146.74 BW after tax: 184.88 Super after tax 164.58 Both show Super lower. So that email is wrong completely. Then the service and room were so bad. It was not the room we paid for. They moved us. Treated us like we annoyed them. So we checked out and left that day. We didn't stay the night. We still have a 434.00 charge on our card. They haven't sent the fee back yet. They told us 4 different prices. On BM receipts say 164.15. Then 184.88. Then 219.88. They charged us over 400$ We didn't even stay. And they are giving me the runaround about the guarantee still and about the way our stay went. For such a big company they are truly showing how they will fight and be stingy even if they are wrong. They say price match in the listings. They even give you a quick run down of the rules for it. But then they hide behind this little stipulation in the fine print that says "if the price matches when they review it..." so however many days they decide to wait before they review it.... if it still matches after that, then they honor the price match.
