I feel fortunate to have had the experience that I had with my family. We came here for the AYCE boneless wings and fries the other day at 4:30PM and we had an exceptional time. Our server, Adam, truly made the experience worthwhile. He was frequently checking if we needed anything, how we were doing, and was so friendly conversing with us the entire time! The food came out hot & quick, and it was pretty good especially for what you're getting. I was very worried about what it would be like considering the negative reviews that I've seen complaining about wait times, poor food quality, or being ignored, but Adam made sure that none of that was an issue. I had a rider that I dropped off at another business close by. So I thought I would get something here. I can never go wrong with B dubs! My server, Adam, was awesome and on the ball! I like the atmosphere here and that I was able to watch the hockey playoffs on one of the big screen tv's. I had a simple meal and dessert. Today, I was able to enjoy six honey bbq boneless wings, 6 garlic parmesian boneless wings (free bogo on Thursdays), carrots, and ranch/Bleu cheese dips. For my treat, I had the loaded ice cream. My son got off work a little early and wanted wings so he suggested Buffalo wild wings. The brea location was convenient so we met there. I was surprised that it wasn't busy at 8PM on a Friday night in downtown brea. We both ordered 10 traditional wings with garlic parmesian and medium Buffalo sauce, ranch dipping sauce, and carrots and Celery. The wings at bw are solid. Crisp without being dry meaty and well sauced. The restaurant was fairly empty and therefore quiet. Several local games were on the various TV sets including basketball and hockey. The loyalty program gets you points with every purchase and check in. The price was reasonable for a fast casual restaurant. We tend to eat Buffalo wild wings a few times a year. read more

I would not recommend this place the service was terrible and the food was a mess. I get that football season just started but this should not be a reason for such a bad experience. The food came out at different times with two orders coming out completely wrong and by the time we we all got our orders it was about an hour. I had the mango habanero boneless wings and they were over done, had very little sauce, and came out cold. It was hard to bite through each piece of chicken. My buddy enjoyed the traditional Asian zing wings. They were very saucy and apparently tasted great. The fried pickles also came out cold. The queso dip was warm and had good flavor. The waitress forgot about my ice tea refill, I had to remind her twice. She forgot about our waters and the second round of beers, we had to also remind her. Came here on Memorial Day It was maybe 55-60 degrees when you walked inside. After sitting down we ordered our food, food came out pretty quickly but my husband had to use the restroom and it was swarming with gnats. It makes me worry that they keep the inside so cold to deal with the gnat problem instead of focusing on the root of the problem, maybe an exposed sewer line. My husband said the bathrooms were dirty and one urinal was stuffed with paper towels. Gnats we're also swarming around our beer and food at the table and I kept having to shoo them away that we ended up taking the food to go. No one greeted us when we walked in, after a couple minutes someone came to the front and said you can find someone to sit and then went back to the back. Had to find a different waiter to get the bill. Maybe 3-4 other parties eating at this time as well. Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

My wife and I invited her friends out to dinner here last night, we walked in and we sat ourselves since we weren't greeted and we were just standing there. The food was great as expected, I've been a long time customer of BWW. The food came out about 25 minutes after we ordered. I was a little annoyed that the appetizer came out at the se time as all the food but no biggie. The waiter was nice and friendly l, she kept checking in on us very frequently, I had to ask her to remove our plates after finishing eating, usually they take them but our plates weren't removed until I asked, keep in mind we had been done for atleast 30 minutes and I just don't like stating at left overs. The mood in there was not as expected of BWW, this had to be one of the lowest vibes of any BWW I've been into, for one I had to clean the table we sat down at myself, I had to go to the restroom to get a wet paper towel to clean our table. This was our 1st visit to this location. Upon arrival there was no one at the front to seat us so we went to the bar and sat there. We were greeted right away and were carded for our drinks. We order 15 traditional wings with Asian zing, mango habanero and the new honey sriracha. These flavors were so hot I couldn't eat but 3 of them. We get these flavors all the time at our home location and they have never been like this with the exception of the honey sriracha since that was a new flavor. I'm sad to say after many times going to this place. Our experience yesterday was horrible. The restaurant was empty and the ambiance was dead. The two ladies working were totally behind and very slow. We waited to be serve at least 15 minutes or so then another 15 minutes after the took our drink order for them to tell us they were out of OJ then my friend order another drink which was horrible. Then we notice a table cancel their order and walk out. After there drinks were returned back to the bar and the floor Manager poor him one of the drink on a paper cup and drank it. BWW is known for its sports broadcasts on a myriad of flat screens, their many beers on tap, craft brews and brewhouse food. It's a fun place for adults to get their game on with some friends and brews. It's also crowded, loud, hard to find parking and in this instance, miserably slow. I ordered a to go order of their famous beer battered onion rings (they're insanely good!) and chopped salads. I called over an hour in advance and was assured it would be ready. I got to the parking lot when I was supposed to pick up the food and it took me at least 10 minutes to find parking. I then had to walk to the restaurant from the parking structure (another minute or two). I got to the to go counter and no one was there. It was lunch time, so the place was rather empty. Several waitresses saw me standing there, but no one stopped to help me. I waited another 10 minutes. Mind you, there was no bell or button or anything to notify someone that you were at the to go counter. Finally, after another 2 or 3 minutes, someone came out, asked if I had a to go order and then brought out my food. That was a total of 23 minutes PAST my order time. That should have been more than enough time to have my order ready. Normally, I would have left this review at two stars and just have been on my way. But the server was super polite with a bubbly personality that overshadowed my slow pick up experience. The only thing missing was a complimentary bottle of beer for my wait. Took awhile for the kids drinks but no big bead 120pm first food to come out: mac n cheese Slowly the other food started to come out too. Lastly our wings came at 130ish pm and we needed to leave. We asked for check, boxes & left. Didn't even have time to eat the wings. Definitely the slowest service I've experienced at a BWW so probably wouldn't come back to this location. Maybe a heads up like we're a little backed up or something would have been nice and we coulda ordered items that would have came out faster. My daughter and I have been sitting here for 20 minutes now and no one had taken our drink orders or food orders. We are on a Time crunch so we had to call the restaurant get any kind of attention. All the waiters are literally standing around speaking with each other doing nothing to service anyone. I know from BWW experiences it usually takes longer than usual than other restaurants but this one by far takes the cake. I came here on Saturday night and surprisingly it was nearly empty. We were not greeted when we came in and although the restaurant wasn't even busy, it took the host so long to even give us any eye contact so we were just standing around waiting for at least a server to sit us down at a table. As for the food, I ordered 10 piece wings (mango habanero and jammin jalapeño), loaded tots, chips and queso, and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Like mentioned before, the restaurant was SLOWWW, it was not busy what so ever, but the food took over 30 min to come out and on top of that the food was not warm at all and tasted like it has been sitting out for a good 15 min before it reached our table. Wings: The 10 piece wings all tasted like the same flavor despite myself ordering 2 completely different flavors. I'm not sure if it's because they messed up my order, or if it was because the sauces got mixed up accidentally. In addition, the wings had no spice to them whatsoever and were extreeeemlyyyy sweet. They were so disappointing not even ranch could save those awful flavors. Chips and queso (with chili beans): were probably the best thing that we ordered that night but it was honestly not even that good. The cheese was extremely runny and the chips were meeehhh.. if it weren't for the beans I probably wouldn't even have taken a second bite. Brisket Tots: The tots were SOO disappointing... we were all so excited to try it because it sounded soooo good but as soon as we all took our first bite... it was so dry, salty, and soggy. Don't get this. Andddd behold the worst thing we had for dinner was the so- called Nashville Hot chicken sandwich.... I don't even know how you could mess up a chicken sandwich this bad but let me just say.. it LOOKED & TASTED like it was made from a fast food chain (but even worse). Came here Saturday around noon to pickup my free birthday wings to go and it was empty. I ordered the sweet bbq because I can't handle anything too spicy. It was okay. I had the 6 boneless wings. It wasn't very fresh, because it took about 15-20 minutes to get home and then had to reheat the wings. The worker seemed to have lots of trouble taking my simple order. I barely got carrots & celery with it. I'm concerned about them having to manage when there's actually a crowd. read more

My mom, myself and brother sat at the bar on the left side and waited 20mins to get greeted before we finally waved down the two employees that were standing on the left side of the bar, from my pov; hanging out on their phones watching us the whole time. Bartender Cassie (blonde curly hair with glasses) and Albert. When they both came up to us I asked which one was working on the floor and with an ATTITUDE, Cassie said "I'm a bartender" and literally walked away before I can even ask her to help us out with AT LEAST some drinks. (Mind you, she only had one party at her bar which was a couple LOL) Albert said I'll get a server for you, went into the kitchen n didn't come out for a while. The tables around us were all dirty and stood dirty from the time we sat and left almost 2hrs later... Anyways, finally this nice server named Aubriana came up to us bc a different girl asked her to take our table and took our order and helped us for the rest of the time being. She looked very busy too but still helped us and checked up on us occasionally. We were soo upset we didn't even enjoy our meals. I honestly have never been so disappointed in a restaurant team than tonight. I was a server/ bartender and store trainer for 7 years and we were always taught to be TEAM PLAYERS. If you see that your co-worker is busy handling other tables you MUST HELP THEM OUT until they're ready to take their table or even keep the table so you make extra $$. But I guess the serving culture is different here at the BWW in Brea. To each their own and that's sad. Incredibly average boneless wings found at Buffalo Wild Wings (yes, I'm one of those people that prefers boneless over bone-in; easier to eat without the messy hassle). I tried their mild flavors: Bourbon Honey Mustard and Honey BBQ. I opted for no fries (additional price for fries, not included with boneless/bone-in meals) and received their veggie sticks (carrots and celery with ranch and probably other dressing options offered). Moreover, I would prefer to continue to buy my boneless wings from my favorite, WingStop; cheaper and generally better tasting. Although, if I do happen to visit Bdubs again I'll gladly go for their weeknight happy hour. read more

I truly hate to give this rating, but it is what it is. I came here with my husband and our kids since my older son wanted wings. Upon walking it, it was basically dead and it still took 10 minutes to be seated. After getting seated, we weren't given a menu or kids menu. We had to ask and wait for those to come as well. Once we placed our order which consisted of 2 happy hour appetizers, 15 boneless and 20 traditional bone in wings, 2 large orders of fries, a side salad and 4 drinks, things came out in a weird order. I'm not sure if this location is short staffed or whatnot but we got our appetizers and drinks first. Then the wings. The waitress had to check twice in the kitchen to see if the fries were coming so it took 15 more minutes for fries to come out. My salad didn't even come out so my husband told them to cancel it. Our drinks were wrong as well. My husband and younger son were given the wrong drink. My husband was like whatever I'll drink it anyways. Upon getting a refill, my drink was wrong as well. I'm 8 months pregnant and I need my correct drink or it will ruin my appetite so I asked for my correct drink. No big deal. We were literally there for 2 hours, most of the which was all waiting. Even getting our check and to go boxes took some time. I'm not saying this to down bww, but there really weren't a ton of people in the restaurant and it made our time there not the best needing to wait this amount. I also work on the food industry and I know how overly picky customers can be, but there isn't an excuse for how slow the location was at the time we were seated and in the vicinity. If it is a short staff issue, I completely understand. It just confused me as to how tables on our same section that ordered after us for their correct orders and double/ triple checked before hand. The staffs here must really HATE the owner because everything about this visit was BAD. I drove all the way to the Brea location as the one located in Puente Hills always smells like urine. I was super happy this Brea location is right next to the public parking structure and I was able to locate a parking spot right away. I walked towards the restaurant and was equally surprised to see through the windows that most tables were empty during Monday Night Football. I walked into the lobby and saw a family of 6, and a couple hanging around, as well as a gentleman waiting by the order pick up area (he was still waiting for his order when I left about 1.5 + hours later). There were also two young boys waiting around holding their receipts (turns out they were waiting for their refunds but didn't get a manager to give them their money back until 5 minutes before we left). The phone was also ringing off the hook but there were NO hostess (or any staffs) to be found. I waited for 10 mins before I asked one of the person waiting to see if they had been assisted and he said he hasn't seen a hostess since walking in before me, and at that point, he went to the bar area and spoke with a busboy who informed him that they only had one kitchen staff working, and customers were to seat themselves only by the bar area, and that the wait time for food would be 1-1 1/2 hours. It was the first time my 12 year old daughter ever sat by the bar (the other family had kids ages 6-10 with them) but I drove over 20 mins and waited over 20 mins just to eat there so I wasn't going to leave. The busboy and the bartender saw us but ghosted us as if we were their exes. I got my own menu and when we were able to order, I flagged down the busboy, who quickly told me that he was not a server, and he said he wasn't sure if I was made aware of the 1 1/2 hour wait to get our food. I think he was waiting for us to just leave at that point but I didn't - and asked for our server, and Abriana finally came and assisted us about 10 minutes after. The total time for us to get our food was about 20 minutes, which was much shorter than what we had expected. She came by to check on us once, but it took about 20 minutes to locate Abriana again to get a box and our check. Overall, Abriana was nice but she looked so worn out and just didn't seem she wanted to be there at all. During the entire time I was there, about 6 other parties had walked in but LEFT when they waited for a hostess to seat them. The staffs obviously saw them but no one had the decency to go there to even acknowledge them. 4 other parties had walked in, seated themselves but also LEFT when no one came around to take their order. Two parties that sat down before us requested for their refunds as the food most likely took too long. I've never been to ANY restaurants where there's only about 6 tables out of the ENTIRE restaurant where no one had ANY food, and there's not ONE employee in sight. The staffs would all just periodically disappear together leaving the customers by themselves just waiting. It was absolutely ridiculous. One group of kids got up to leave and I don't know if they were friends with the busboy but I saw him took out wads of cash from his pocket and just handed it out to them. That alone just gave me super bad vibes. I initially felt sympathetic towards the staff because I had thought they were understaffed just tonight since it's a day after Christmas - but when I went through all the Yelp reviews, I realized most of the customers had the same experience that I did even since two years ago. We were a larger party of 8 and we didn't have high expectations of a place like this (TAPS next door was already closed at 10 pm on a FRIDAY night). The staff was friendly but botched our order so badly, it was embarrassing for them. Asked for boneless wings, we got bone-in (the bone-in were delicious-no doubt) we ordered Dirty tater-tots and got plain tots :/ we ordered a chips and dip trio and got an order of chips and guac and an order of chips and queso... we ordered vodka soda with lime and we got vodka tonic and lime then we were gaslit when they told us it was soda, but we sent them back because there is a distinct difference and there was no fooling us. They did get the fried pickle order correct, but that was about it. The food was bar food so not bad there... we ate it all. But seriously, do better fulfilling orders correctly! read more

Unfortunately, we are in the time of COVID and the restaurant seemed grimy. The ladies restroom did not have any toilet paper and no hand soap. It was very dirty. But the waiter was great! He was very attentive. He made a mistake in our order by having chicken in our nachos but he apologized and gave us a new order right away. He gets a 5 star. I was happy to see that all the employees wore their masks and kept safe. Thank you for that. But the guests don't really care and don't wear their masks. Came for dinner with my kids. Service was normal, food came out nice and hot, with a lot of seasoning. The kids didn't have to wait long for their food or drinks considering it was busy.
