Seriously?! First they don't email or text to tell you that your online order is ready for pick up (I waited an hour and then went in, found out on my receipt it was ready 30 minutes ago!) to then finding out they shorted me 3 traditional wings (I ordered 15 wings!! In the picture I already ate a few to note)!! I was freaking pissed but I was already on the road heading back home. I let it slide.. Until I actually tasted my quote on quote "Mango Habanero" wings for it to only be freaking ASIAN ZING!!! They got me all the way F. UP! I AM PISSED OFF AS HECK!! WORST PLACE EVER!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURE!! THATS ASIAN ZING SAUCE!

I Remember many years ago when this location opened. Despite all the new express locations popping up this location is still the most convenient but lately I feel like they've been going down hill. The past 3 times I've been to this location (far apart, because of multiple issues) I haven't been impressed. I'll start with my most recent visit- today. I put in an online order for takeout an hour and half before my pickup time (at 6 I placed an order to pick up at 7:30). I arrive exactly at 7:30, I pay in store for my meal (online didn't have an option to pay for whatever reason, maybe I needed to create an account who knows), also the card reader, keypad thing prompts for tipping- had I known how everything was going to payout, I would have tipped way less. So 7:30 pay for my food, they go in back to check on my order, the host comes out and says they are wrapping everything up. I ordered 2 buffalo wraps. No biggie. I'm thinking 5 minutes tops. Chipotle wraps a loaded burrito in like 30 seconds, so I'm being generous and saying 5 minutes for 2 wraps with only chicken, lettuce and cheese. 10 minutes pass, nothing. I ended running into an old friend which helped move time along. But 20 minutes arrived and I'm about ready to cancel my order. I could have dined in and got food way faster the way food was flying out of the kitchen. The cashier realized I was still standing there and ran back to the kitchen to check again, she comes back out and says "they messed up your order 3 times and they are trying to remake it, I'm so sorry". Let me tell you, when I got home and opened the boxes I was livid at how they folded the tortilla wraps. My mom picked hers up and everything fell right back in the box. I waited 25 minutes for them to "wrap everything up" and they failed?! Maybe if they would have just told be whoever was working the food didn't know how to wrap I would have just asked for it to be served like a taco in smaller tortillas. It was such a mess. I regret going here. I could tell it was a rough night (maybe because he Vikings game was on) but from what I observed in those 25 minutes of waiting was a lot of mess ups. That was a long story, so I'll sum up the other experiences. I've been here when more than half of the restaurant was empty and service was lacking. Food came out before drinks. Long waits for food to come out, they forget to bring out things you've ordered, so you just say forget it because you don't have all day to wait. I've ordered mozzarella sticks from here that the cheese was still cold, the boneless chicken is a weird texture now. Overall I'm not impressed. I'd like to say that I do love the diversity in staff and customers here though!

We took a few minutes to order as the age range of our group was 12-73 years of age. The waitress was kind, and patient as we ordered. After ordering the food came quickly. We had a variety off the menu ranging from Salad to rice bowels and three different types of burgers. The Food and service was excellent! The manager came and asked how the meal was and was very pleasant. Prices were reasonable and portions were huge. I highly recommend this establishment and we will come back again.

The atmosphere is bright, cheery, and enthusiastic -- although perhaps a bit loud. But then again, it's a sports bar with more televisions than Best Buy. The service was extremely friendly, professional, and competent. All of the waitstaff were hard working and very attentive. Our waitress can around often to bring pop refills and to check on us. The food was typical sports bar faire, but well done. We did not go for the July Bloody Mary of the month ($30!) (see photos), which came with more food than a full day's outing at the Minnesota State Fair. Instead, my wife had been and the Jumbo Bacon Cheddar Chive Tots ($13), which were filling and tasty. The tots were stuffed with bacon, cheddar cheese and chive, and served with aioli. I had the Traditional Bone-in Wings ($16.50) with two sauces - sweet chili, and sticky garlic gochujang. Although both were flavorful, my personal preference was for the sweet chili. All of the wings were juicy and cooked well. I also upgraded to a very large portion of beer battered fries, which were shoe-strong fries. They were cooked well - not greasy or overcooked and very tasty. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal.

Plenty of seating although it seemed like a lot of the tables were very close to each other so not much privacy unless you are in a booth. Loved the individual bathroom stalls, very clean and private. The food was amazing!! We didn't know what to expect here but the food was cooked to perfection, shoutout to the chef for making the noodles Al dente, especially the rice noodles. Being Asian I know how hard it can be to get the right texture for rice noodles but they were perfect! Flavors were incredible. Portions were plentiful, we shared two entrees and two apps between 4 girls and we had leftovers and we were all starving too. Love the vibes here, definitely feels more upscale yet casual. Drinks looked really good too but we did not want to day drink this time.

My husband and I brought our two young kids on a random afternoon around 2-3pm. We weren't dressed up, but we weren't dressed inappropriately or overly casual either. The service was honestly some of the worst we've experienced -- lots of attitude, and we left feeling like we weren't exactly the type of guests they wanted there. Keot walking past us when we would call someon they wouldnt come. The food was mediocre and so unmemorable that, a year or so later, I couldn't even tell you what we ordered. The one thing we did enjoy was trying the different sauces. Enough time had passed that we decided to give it another shot. This time we went around 4pm on a Thursday and dressed up a little more. Right away, the host seemed annoyed that we didn't have a reservation, even though it was early and there were still plenty of empty tables. It was an odd way to start the experience. Thankfully, our server this time was wonderful friendly, helpful, and a complete change from our first visit. The food runners were also attentive. Unfortunately, the food itself was the biggest disappointment. The gochujang wings barely tasted like gochujang. There were so many other flavors going on that the gochujang seemed completely masked, and the wings weren't crispy at all. One of the kids' chicken tenders came out cut in half, which I'm assuming was to check that it was cooked through. Not necessarily a huge deal, but it was strange presentation. My husband and I both ordered the Caribbean chicken sandwich, and neither of us enjoyed it. It was dry, didn't have nearly enough sauce, and the pieces of slaw were way too large for the sandwich. I paid for extra sauces that never came, and my husband received the wrong sauce. The fries were good, and the service at the table was much better this time, but that was about it. After two visits at very different times, we've had essentially the same takeaway: Grackle has a cool concept and the sauces are fun, but the food just hasn't lived up to what we expected for the price. Our second experience also confirmed that our disappointing first visit wasn't just opening-month growing pains. I really wanted to like this place, especially enough to come back after a poor first experience, but unfortunately two tries was enough for us.

We grabbed seats at the bar and were attended to almost immediately. The bartenders were fantastic and probably one of the highlights of our visit. They checked in with us regularly, made sure our drinks were good, and followed up after our food arrived. Even with the post-game crowd, the service was attentive and our food came out pretty quickly. We started with the nachos and added carne asada. While they were good, I thought they were a little overpriced for the amount of carne asada we actually received. I would have loved a more generous portion of meat, especially for the price. For my meal, I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, which I enjoyed much more. It came with a generous amount of chicken and lettuce, but my favorite part was the cornbread croutons! They were such a fun and unexpected twist on a traditional Caesar salad and definitely made the dish more memorable. The space itself is HUGE, with tons of seating and screens everywhere you look, plus an outdoor area. It's also conveniently located and very walkable from other parts of downtown Minneapolis, making it an easy option before or after a sporting event. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try some other dishes or watch a game. Prices are a little on the higher side, so that's something I'd keep in mind, but the quick food service, incredibly attentive bartenders, and game-day atmosphere made for a good first visit.
