My food came out wrong (and cold), told the server it was the wrong order and it came out wrong again 15 minutes later. I still didn't have the right burger by the time my friend finished eating. The burger that finally came out the third time was pretty good, but our server was horribly slow getting to us, getting our food out, and bringing our check. She didn't even apologize for my food being wrong twice. All around crappy service. read more

We like Buffalo Wild Wings as a casual, date-night spot for chicken wings. But it is in no way a 5-star restaurant. You should expect average service and food. We go there a lot and normally have a decent time - just thought I'd share our last interesting experience. It was a Friday night, so it was busy. I figured we'd have a bit of a wait. The hostess affirmed that, but then told us there was actually a '2-person' table in the back that couples like to sit at sometimes. I told her that was fine, we just wanted to sit and eat. Didn't matter where really. She sat us down and it was a little awkward... just a tiny random table behind a bunch of booths, really close to a 'servers-stand' (you know, with the computer on it). But we were just happy we were seated! ... and then came the SUN. We would've closed the curtain on the window but it was a door to the outside, so it had to curtain. The sun was at the PERFECT angle, right in my boyfriend's eyes. The awkward table, I asked for, the blinding sun, not so much. The waiter noticed and awkwardly made terrible jokes and shifted our table around at weird angles to get my boyfriend out of the sun. He was goofy about it so it was somewhat ok...but still rather strange and it was ruining my appetite because I was uncomfortable... especially since the other waiters/waitresses kept making jokes as they passed by. We finally realized there was really no way to shift our pathetic little table out of the sun and not be in the middle of an aisle, I asked if another table opened, if we could be moved. APPARENTLY that wasn't an option at all for some reason. I mean, I understand if there is a 'wait-list', but can't they add our names to it? Apparently not... there was nothing they could do except awkwardly stick menus to the window to block sun...and that hardly even helped considering the sun moves... All in all, it was alright. They really shouldn't offer that table to anyone though... it's a really bad spot and HIGHLY uncomfortable. Food was decent like always. Waiter was awkward and annoying, but also tried to be funny and light-hearted. He was also very very busy but still managed to keep checking in with us. I give him a "B". read more

My wife and I stopped in for dinner and drinks. We sat at the bar and had very good service. We enjoyed a couple beers and shared Mozzarella Sticks. For dinner, I had the Mediterranean Salad and my wife had the Chicken Chopped Salad. Both were good. Since we caught the end of happy hour, the value seemed good. read more

Horrible. This place is consistently horrific in almost every sense. Last week I ordered two snack sized sets of wings. The order I placed was for pickup, set for 8pm, and I placed the order at 7:35pm. I received my order after 8pm and was seemingly rushed out - the woman who handed me my food basically threw the bag into my hands, and I didn't even get a chance to ask for plastic ware to go. I stood there for a few minutes expecting her to acknowledge me as she just walked back and forth between the kitchen and front desk. Nope. Then I get fed up, drive home, and realize that they didn't put ANY sauce on a set of my wings. Not only that, but the wings were cold and dry and disgusting looking. I brought the wings back, annoyed...and told them they forgot sauce. They took my wings in the back and dumped sauce on the already even more cold and dry wings, and handed them back to me. Didn't even offer me fresh wings for having to drive back up to the store because they screwed my order up. Nor did they care to even speak to me. I told one man how frustrated I was about the situation and he walked away. This is utterly pathetic for a business. I decided I would bite the bullet and head home and just email customer service. The wings were nasty and felt microwaved. I didn't get a call back (missed) until Sunday. At which point I'm already annoyed to the point where talking to the manager now feels like more of a waste of my time. Nothing he could say or offer would make me bring my business back to them. Also, the last time I ordered they gave me soggy cold nasty fries. I'll continue posting on various review sites to deter anyone from choosing this location again. I have low expectations from this place as it is-- I have never once received food that wasn't lukewarm, BUT this place is pretty much my only option when i'm wanting wings. I came here with a friend on a cold, rainy Saturday afternoon. There are about two or three different "lines" of people standing around the entrance because no one really knows where to stand with this social distancing stuff, designated markers or signs would be nice. Anyways, it was clear that most of the people standing were obviously waiting for to go orders. To my knowledge it was just me and my friend, and the party standing behind us who were waiting to be seated. As soon as the hostess walks up to her post, she makes eye contact with us then with the people BEHIND us and asks them if they're here to dine in, to which they say yes and she asks them to follow her to be seated, she seats them at a booth. Okay... cool. She comes back and sees we are still standing there obviously not waiting for a pick up order because we're the only people not sitting there on our phones. She asks if we're there to dine in to which we say yes... she tells us that they do not have anymore indoor seating but we are welcome to sit outside on the patio where there is an overhead tarp so we "won't get wet or anything". Yeah no, we didn't come to sit outside in the cold and rain. My biggest question is who offers service beginning at the BACK of the line, with no regard to people who were clearly there first? Walked out after this and went to Applebee's instead... which sadly offered slightly better service. read more

Don't believe their website, large order of boneless wings has only 21 not the 2 dozen they advertise. The website says 2 orders are approximately 48 wings, the guy at the counter says that they only put in 21, and a few are tiny. read more

I used to be a consistent customer during the summer, and I would always have problems getting seated and receiving pick up orders - both of which were due to a low presence of waiters/cashiers. I would walk in with no employees in sight to give me service, and would wait at times up to 10 minutes without receiving service. The cashiers don't even call for a waiter when there is someone there, and other servers would just walk by and not inform others. This location needs a lot of work. read more

Pick another location to go to! This one has by far the worst service. The servers spend more time BSing by the bar and kitchen than they do checking on their tables. No refills, etc. Also they are 0 for 2 with getting my to-go order correct also. This location is in a bad part of town and they are frequented by a "rougher crowd". read more

We have tried both the Southdale and MOA Buffalo Wild Wings several times. Service: The service is consistently horrible when they are busy. We entered their Southdale location to see four "hostess" at front desk. After they finished their visit, they looked up to greet us. We waited another 10 minutes before someone cleaned off one of the five empty tables we saw when we entered. We waited another 10 minutes before a waitress to come by and get a drink order. It then took another 15 minutes to get two beers. We placed our order and in about 20 minutes our appetizer and wings came together. Wings were cool to the touch and the onion rings only warm from the heating lamp. We waited a long time for a check at the end. Bring cash in small bills as they have never come by to the collect money. On two visits during off times we were swarmed with wait staff and captains introducing themselves and asking if there was anything we needed to the point were they were annoying and intrusive. I am not sure what the captain does other then change the channel on TV. They do not bus tables, serve food, take orders or bring drinks when they are busy. Expect a noisey time with loud music and crying children playing over the game you came to watch but not hear. Food: In 6 visits between the two stores, we have only had one time where wings came out warm (11:20 am at MOA on a Wednesday). Apparently no one orders salads, since greens have always been wilted and/or brown. They said they do not have Italian salad dressing so I ordered their "lite balsamic" and they brought me Italian dressing. The grilled chicken is diced into half-inch cubes and is probably leftovers from another day. Bottom line is to only ordered deep fat fried items on menu. As for the sauces, Caribbean Jerk has some nice flavors and a fair amount of heat. Most of the other hot sauces in red scale will be hot with no flavor. The Mango Habanero has no mango flavor just heat. The Thai Curry is heat with just a hint of curry flavor. The dry sauces we have tried are mostly salt. I suggest you go on Tuesday or Thursday night when you can order only four of a kind in any particular flavor. You and your party could sample many different flavors. Once you find a few you like, order a bottle or jar at the take-out counter (another wait for just a bottle of sauce sitting in a cabinet). The wings were fried in tallow years ago. I do not know if this is still true. That is why they taste good but are not necessarily good for you. You might also find a new favorite beer through sampling several over a few visits. Don't expect the staff to be able to recommend a brew since most are under 21. Southdale store is across the street from a liquor store so you can take-home your new favorite beer with your bottles of sauce. read more

Before the 4th Street U of M Campus location opened up, this was the closest location to my residence so I used to come here a lot. It was ok at the time, but holy smokes has it changed since. The crowd that comes here these days seems very blue collar conservative. Very routey, Trump supports, white. I came to sit at the bar, after an exhausting hot yoga class, I was feeling a little under the weather, with a cold and losing my voice, and they bearded male next to me decided to be super sarcastic and charge me for a spot at the bar. I went along with the story and laughed, but inside I was like please just give me my wings! Despite the crowd that I didn't take a particular liking to, the service was great. The bartenders were fast, attentive to my needs and the food came out fast. If I needed something else and the bar was very loud, they were great at making eye contact with me and understanding. Food was typical bww. Unfortunate that the boneless deal didn't come back down to earth like the traditional wings did. (Half off) They still charge $.70/wing which is not a bad discount from the $11.99 small order of wings. When they first changed the promo back to half off traditional on Tuesday's there was a week in there when the boneless were ALSO half off, or so the bartender said. But it didn't last, yup $0.70/wing..Idk about you but that seems awful expensive for a wing that has progressively gotten more and more breading on it. Can you tell I am a traditional wing man? lol Traditional has gone in the opposite direction. Larger and larger it seems every year. Yay for biochemistry. Anyways the 3 out of 5 stars is mostly for the fast and efficient service, and the wings still tasted good, it is BWW after all. My go to. I'd also like to mention that the bar area is really cramped. Wouldn't go back unless I find myself with a large craving like this past Thursday after a Yoga Sculpt class where I am not feeling the greatest and there is a good sports game on TV to watch. so gave this place another shot because my buddy was hell bent on eating there... let's start with the first time I was there.. TERRIBLE I was there with a girl friend and my 8 year old daughter.. the male server was more worried about hitting on my friend and I vs actually taking care of us as guest at his restaurant. kept saying inappropriate things eventually my friend got up and spoke to the mananger.. after that he was just rude! so round two we spent 80$ on take out we should of knew better than to not check our bags... we were missing a whole meal.. the mottz stick were still ice cold and we had 1 wrong sauce!! so we went back they wanted us to return the mottz sticks, and we argued with three different people about the burger which was not even ready when we got there.. then we went threw 3 different managers until we finally had someone know what they are doing. it's disappointing getting McDonald's service with bdubs prices. won't be back read more

I never write reviews on restaurant chains. This location is my favorite since it's my nearest BWW. Whenever me and my siblings come to this particular location, we usually get this same server (Can't remember her name), she's very kind and attentive to us. Love their HH and drink specials! Wow, I normally never give reviews or feedback. But this was by far the worst dining experience I ever had. I have never been treated so poorly by the staff. To begin me and my friend go into your restaurant, we were seated by the captain. He was TERRIFIC, he sat us down and said who our waiter would be and pointed at one of the waiters who was at another table and offered to grab our drinks of water. The captain returns with out waters, and since we still haven't saw our waiter we asked the captain for our order, he was polite and said let me grab a pen and pad since I never did this before. He returns and takes our order. 15 mins go by and we see our waiter constantly walk past but did not speak or check on us. Another 5 mins go by and the manager brings our food, I'm frustrated so I tell the operations manager, "Hey this service sucks, who is our wairter". He says OK let me check on that. He didn't apologize so that was so rude to us. So finally the waiter comes to our table and before he says anything, he sighs heavily and annoyingly like we are bothering him. That did it for me and I told him to just go away. We tried to finish our food but we were just disgusted by the way we were being serviced. I go to the manager and tell him again, this service is terrible and can he at least adjust our bill since my friend didn't finish her food because she was distraught by the rudeness. I was very upset with the service I received from one of the employees at this restaurant. I have come here a few times over the past few months and have always had a wonderful experience. This time was not one of them. The other day i came in to pick up my order about 20 minutes after i ordered it. I was greeted by the hostess very politely, and she said she would get me a cashier to ring me up. The hostess came back and assured me i would be helped as soon as the cashier was available. I noticed a girl chatting casually with a server, they were talking for about 5 minutes while i was waiting for the cashier. The hostess apologized again and went to get the cashier again. She came back with the girl i saw chatting with the server and she was instantly rude to me, barely looking me in the eye, and very insincere. She said my order would be ready in about 5 minutes. She left and returned to chatting with the server, granted the server would leave and do his job but return to speaking with her in his free time. I sat on the bench waiting about 20 minutes later, seeing the cashier in the same spot the whole time! During this time the hostess had to answer her phone calls, and even take orders. I was severely upset. The hostess Amanda was very kind and apologetic to me and went to check on my order. Along with doing her job seating tables, she said she found my order in the "window" unpackaged, and ready. The cashier Jenny then told the hostess she would take care of it, rudely may i add, she presented me my order, everything was right except for i asked for another ranch. She then ROLLED HER EYES AT ME! It took another two minutes to get the small ranch. I was very disappointed with my experience here, if it weren't for the sweet hostess i would never come to this location again. read more

Went to the Crystal location for lunch. The food was marginal at best, they might put sauce on half the wings. When the server brought the bill I gave her a gift card, apparently the establishment does not have the technology to process gift cards, the sever came back saying it was declined 2 times. OK.I handed her my debit card and she came back with the receipt. I signed for the amount. A few minutes later she came back and requested my debit card again stating she had accidentally deleted the transaction. I told her I was not going to give her my card to run again(scams)..I requested the manager who was maybe 20 years old at best. I was not happy to say the least. The manager assured me that everything was OK... I relented and gave her my card again. I then took out my phone and accessed my bank account online and discovered that my account had been charged twice. Now we have a problem. I requested the manager back to my table.. again she tried to assure me that one of the charges would be dropped within the next few days...WHAT!!!...SO I have to walk around 40 dollars short for a few days because your server does not know how to do her job properly.....I told the manager how about you give me 40 dollars and if the charge is dropped from my account in 2 or 3 days I will bring your money back. Guess what Folks...she could not do that. But was more then willing to keep my money for 2-3 days. Now I have to wait for 2-3 days to see what is going to happen to my account..and 40 dollars lighter in my wallet..The manager tried to make things better by offering a free basket of wings...I dont want your wings.....I want my 40 dollars...it was not about trying to get something for nothing...I will never go to this PLACE ..CRYSTAL BUFFALO WILD WINGS AGAIN read more

Was there Friday night, after me and a few buddies put 20 dollars into the juke box is was shut off so they could put the game on. That's fine but some compensation for the juke box would have been nice. That was 20 dollars wasted. We got there before 8 did not leave till closer to 9:45. They were not super busy took them a while before they took our order and then took a long time to bring the food out. Which was fine because we were a larger group, however two other groups about the same size as ours if not larger came in and not only get all their food before ours (placing their orders after ours) they got the check and left before us. Took them almost 30 minutes after we asked for the check to bring it to us. Probably waited 40 minutes after eating to pay because no one came to check on us. Over all lack luster and when we expressed the concern with the quality of service didn't seem any one really cared including the manager read more
