I've came here before and it wasn't the best quality service in general. But it's been a while And I wanted to give it another shot. So I did a walk in to-go order, waited 10 mins inside restaurant. John (manager) told me to go wait outside and someone will bring my order out for me. I said that's no problem and waited outside. So I waited outside for another half hour but guy really forgot about me. I had to go back inside and the manager had a surprised reaction and told me they're cooking me a "fresh batch of fries". It was my first time to eat something new and different. I am very excited about this location moving from Discovery Bay Shopping Center to the Ala Moana Center location next to the Target location. What i really enjoyed was the Cheese Curds and The Boneless Teriyaki Boneless wings! It was very delicious and tasty and i got to try the pretzel and it was not too bad and the highlight was the service! Our waiter was really good and fantastic. He made sure that we got our orders completed and made sure it was given in the timely manner! The Strawberry Lemonade hit the spot and it could taste the Strawberry inside and it's a nice summer drink to have with the Boneless wings along with the water to drink as well. Just a little reminder..when you go to the restroom make sure that you wear the mask so nothing happens and when you are eating you can take it off and once you leave the establishment you just have to remember to put it back on again. My experiences with BWs have always been a toss up. Either just good or really bad, but today my server Jade completely redeemed this establishment for me. Her service was impeccable!! Quick, efficient, courteous and very friendly. She is the type of server that I would just go to restaurants for- not necessarily for the food, but just to visit them. Most times my partner and I wait an average of 45min to an hour for our food to come out, however this time order was taken within 5 minutes of being seated and food arrived within 15 minutes. Also our server was always attentive to our needs and engaging with everyone. If you plan to go to this location try and request Jade. You will not regret it :) read more

Had a horrible experience at Gen Korean bbq. Decided to make up for that by coming in to BWW. Immediately turned out lunch around. The staff was funny and inviting, the manager came over with the allergy menu (my wife has to eat gluten free) and not only made sure what she wanted would be okay for her, but all the accompanying items. Jake, our server, was awesome. Made sure the glasses were never empty, check in on us before the food came out, and after we were finished. Jon, the Bar manager, was super helpful in making recommendations on daises that were safe for the group as well as my wife. Very respectful. We stopped by after work to pick up a quick bite to eat. Told that our order would take 10-15 minutes but had to wait a bit longer which is fine. I ordered the 5 piece tenders that said came with fries. When we returned home, I opened my tenders to NO fries. Not even a single piece. Me my wife and son came in for the late night happy hour on a Friday night. We were seated pretty quickly and it wasn't too busy. This review is for our excellent service provided by our server Charles. He was very attentive and helpful. He always came by and checked on us and explained everything clearly. He was working very hard and even when it started to get busy he still was checking on us and made sure we got all our food and see if we needed more drinks. What a terrible evening. Service was slow (understatement of the year more like sporadic) server was RUDE. She only asked certain of us if we wanted refills when she came thru. My food was cold. And honestly the end was the worst. Our server (there were 7 of us at two tables with4 bills each bill over 40$) two people gave 20% tips and two of us were planning on leaving a 15% cash tip, by before we could even put money on the table she came and brought the receipts and started saying how she knew the service wasn't the greatest but she thinks we made a mistake and that she didn't think any of us left a tip!!!!! Their hours are great during these trying times but their quality isn't worth the price. At nearly and some cases over $1 per wing you'd expect something flavorful. Tried the new Truffalo flavor as well as the Adobo traditional wings and they were absolutely bland and didn't have the thoroughly cooked texture you expect normally from wings. The day I went it was crazy busy. Firstly the staff there, although busy, was friendly and on top of their game. We were constantly being checked on, which is always a plus at restaurants. As for the food, I would suggest going on Thursdays as they have a deal where if you buy one boneless wing they'll give you one for free. So if you order 10 boneless, you'll receive 20 for the price of 10. The sauces are as they are, can't complain about them. I've always wanted to try a meal here but never really had the opportunity until this afternoon. BWWs has opened a new store right inside of Ala Moana center and it wasnt busy for a Friday night where I walked right in and got a nice table. We chose the happy hour nachos and that was a nice starter. The appetizer was the small order of boneless wings in a mix of asian zing and another one called flaming jalapeno sauce. Both were too hot for us to eat more than a few pieces. The batter on these wings are overwhelmingly thick and fried to a very hard texture. Dont risk it if you got some shakey teeth! The buffalo chicken sandwich was more of the same and a honking big piece of chicken fried to a thick heavy shell. There was bacon hanging over the side for its dear life and even myself with a big mouth as I've got couldn't moby this monster for a bite. I really didnt have much appetite after gnawing those wings and left more than half of the sammie untouched. I guess now I wont wonder the next time I walk past a BWWs. read more

Last night was a literal shit show. I didn't get my food until after 1 hour and 24 mins. It was literally 10 piece wings.... Saw at least 5 patrons leave angrily and complain about the lack of their orders and incorrect orders. There is a clear lack of communication between kitchen and servers a feeling of overwhelming from lack of proper staff members. Manager (Daniel) was extremely rude and sassed me, I didn't even ask to speak to a manager. My server apologized for the unacceptable service and offered to have manager come by to talk to us. Immediately the manager shifter all the blame on our server and I don't know what happened as I heard a couple kitchen staff walked out but as a manager you should take full accountability and take notes of all the concerns in order to improve the service. As we were leaving there was an angry family recording a video of the manager as they were in the middle of a heated argument over their food and lack of attention as well. shame on the management and corporation for running such an embarassing demonstration of an establishment. I work at the Ala Moana building and have came approximately 7 times in the last month and every time im here I have a very stressed server who is constantly apologizing and ranting about the lack of staff and improper management. This is the worst Buffalo Wild Wings I've ever been to. Service is terrible. The restaurant was pretty damn empty and the hostess told my husband 15-20 minute wait because there's only two servers and he can't seat anyone while they're taking orders. Seriously? UNDENIALBLY THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD! 1. We were a party of 7, our server came with 4 waters and introduced herself by saying that she just started her shift and that she wasn't all there yet and spilled the waters. 2. When she took our order; the first person ordered a chicken sandwich with fries (which came out as tater tots), then she took the second persons order of 6 chicken wings (which never ended up coming), and went back to the first person and asked, "what did you order again?" 3. Our food slowly started to show up, but we were still missing 3 waters so we asked another server for the remaining which she brought. About 30 minutes later, our original server brought out 2 more waters which totals to 9 waters (6 from original server and 3 from another server for a table of 7 people....) 4. As they brought out the food, they continuously asked us if we ordered food that we didn't order. Turns out that the food order from the table next to us was all added on our table which made all of us confused and annoyed because we were still missing our food. 5. When our server checked up on us, we told her we were missing food and a drink and she proceeded to blame their pos...I asked her if she could check to see if the remainder of our food was coming and she acted like she could not control what comes out because "it all comes out randomly." At this point, we were missing 2 orders of chicken wings (one order was from the person who ordered first), fried pickles, and a drink. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, we let her slide hoping that the remaining of our food orders would come but they never did. Our party was so fed up that we called over the manager to explain our situation. When she gave us the bill, it did not show the food that was missing which means that the server did not even punch in our order correctly. This was upsetting because I asked her to check our food order twice but she did nothing to fix it. So many things went wrong that we left fed up and still hungry. Consistently the worst service I've experienced not only at a BWW, but on this island as a whole. Slow hosts, slow service, cold food. The worst. Today we left before even giving our order because we asked for a booth, the host said "one moment, I just need to clean one off for you." He's gone for 7-10 minutes realistically, returns to seat a large party that had walked in, sees us and says "oh umm yeah we don't have any booths available." This is minor to some, but after the many instances of poor service, I'm confident in saying we will never come back. read more

Top 3 worst services ever what a joke of an industry. Can't even get a single order right.

I've come here a few times and sometimes it's been busy and sometimes it's been dead slow and I've realized that no matter if it's busy or slow service here is slow, I've even done pre paid pick up order through Uber, they would say my order is ready and I would come in and have to wait an extra 30+ minutes for my order. I work in a restaurant that also does take out, that's also works with second parties and i understand that sometimes the estimated wait times for second parties may vary from actual wait times but it was slow like really slow when I came to pick up my food, and I still waited 30+ minutes. And when I've dinned in a party that came in and ordered after us got their food first before we could even get our appetizer. Key note to all please be prepared for crap service and outrageous wait times for your food, coming from someone who also works in the same area of customer service. I won't be ordering or dining here again, I have given enough chances. I'm usually always a patient person but this is just unacceptable. Food is great but their service is shit. Hopefully I can still dine at another location and won't have the same experience. read more

Waited an hour on a Wednesday evening. Server was slow taking our order. We ordered two long island ice tea's and those took 20 minutes. We finally ordered our food. The food took almost an hour. They brought out a sampler first which we asked to be brought out with other entrées since it was somebody's entrée. The person didn't want to be rude and eat before everyone's meal came out so they waited. I brought this up to the server replied that "everything comes out seperate so that it doesnt stay on the line for too long"... whatever that means. By the time the other meals came out the sampler was cold and the nachos were soggy. The wings were very salty. One set was over cooked and hard. They forgot my french fries. I reminded them and when they brought them out they were cold. We ordered another drink and by the time that came out (about 20 minS) everyone was done and ready to go. No acknowledgement of more beer. He was too busy with counting his Bank and returning to make drinks without washing hands. We just about to throw up knowing he touches cash and touch in his serving tools without washing hands after handling Cash of his Bank. Needed more service got tired of waiting!!! Ask for check. This was a few months back. After getting off from work, I met up with a couple friends here to have dinner. Service was pretty slow. Both my friends received their food and was almost done with their meal and we had to remind the waiters for my order which did came to me right away as soon as we mentioned it. Last night my husband and I brought our twin girls to BWW for their first time. They are 15 months old and we have tried to keep them inside and safe but we know they need exposure to different situations and we loooove the new BWW at ala moana so brought them. The tables were spread out and everything was clean. bottom line is that we had excellent service. our server Tyron was very helpful and accommodating to our needs. I wanted to give an extra shout out to the manager, Sharon. We ordered caulliflower wings to share with the girls and we thought we ordered a mild sauce but it turned out not to be mild enough. Tyron happily took back the order once he saw the pepper seeds. Sharon not only redid our order but put sauces on the side for us of which she thought the babies would tolerate and like. Not one friendly employee around and they were all scowling.
