I really wanted to give this location another chance, but unfortunately this is now the second time we've had a frustrating experience with takeout at Buffalo Wild Wings in Windward Mall. We placed our order online from about 15 minutes away. The app indicated our order would be ready in 20 minutes, so the timing seemed perfect. To avoid arriving too early, we even waited a few extra minutes before heading inside. When I entered through the parking lot entrance, there was no employee at the pickup area. Another customer was already waiting for his order. After a few minutes, an employee appeared, helped him, and quickly returned with his food. When it was my turn, I gave her the order name. She checked the computer, confirmed the order existed, and told me, "Okay, your order will be out shortly." Instead, I waited another 30 minutes with no communication, updates, apology, or explanation. My husband eventually came inside because he couldn't understand why I had been gone so long. Meanwhile, customers who arrived after us, sat down, and ordered food were already being served. We watched employees walk by repeatedly, but no one provided any information about our order. Finally, the same employee who originally helped me came out carrying two bags. One of them was ours. What I don't understand is: where was the manager during all of this? Why was nobody monitoring the pickup area? If management knows customers regularly enter through the parking lot entrance for takeout orders, why is there no dedicated person checking on them or at least acknowledging their presence? Unfortunately, the frustration didn't end there. After finally getting our food and heading home, we discovered the order wasn't even correct. We paid extra for flats only, but still received a few drumsticks. We also received the wrong sauce. The order allowed us to choose up to four sauce options, and the one flavor we were most excited about was the one we didn't get. Waiting more than 30 minutes past the promised pickup time would have been disappointing enough. Being completely ignored during that wait was worse. But after all of that, receiving an incorrect order felt like the final straw. Mistakes happen. Orders run behind. Most customers can understand that. What is much harder to understand is being completely ignored for over 30 minutes with zero communication and then receiving food that wasn't prepared as ordered. Had this been a one-time experience, I probably wouldn't be writing a review. But this is the second time we've been left standing around wondering if anyone even knew we were there. At this point, it feels less like an isolated incident and more like a recurring problem with how takeout orders are managed. Buffalo Wild Wings needs to do a better job with customer communication, order accuracy, and management oversight of the pickup area. We paid extra for specific items, waited far longer than promised, and still didn't receive what we ordered. That's simply not acceptable. Sadly, we'll be thinking twice before ordering from this location again. And frankly, I don't think they care. read more

Trying to find a friendly, attentive server here is basically the restaurant version of chasing the Northern Lights: technically possible, allegedly beautiful, but you'll need luck, patience, and maybe a Sherpa. Meanwhile, the Togo setup feels like a social experiment in trust. They just plop your food on a random rack by the door like it's a lost and found item. The front hostess area is so unattended it might as well have a 'free food' sign. And the Togo tip... genuinely curious what heroic service I'm tipping for. The food has always been average for me. I don't dislike anything I've eaten, but it's not anything worth raving about. What is worth raving about is our server, Jess. She was friendly, helpful, and did everything she could to ensure we would come back. 1. Friendly and smiling. It was a busy night with the Thursday night football and she was so pleasant. 2. Made sure we knew the specials, how to order on the online app, and let us know we still had 15 minutes to order from the happy hour menu. 3. Knew I was reluctant about carbs (watching my glucose) and suggested swapping the fries for a salad or carrots & celery. 4. Offered the same swap for my husband's order. Again, paying attention to our conversation and noticed he was interested. 5. I wanted hot coffee or hot tea, which was not on menu. She offered and brought me hot water with lemon. 6. Offered to bring ketchup & mayo to our table when my husband requested thousand island dressing, which they did not have. I knew she was a local girl! Our waitress didn't come back for a while and we were hungry so we just ate cold chili nachos. Next came our boneless wings. We opted for the Thai curry and habanero sauces. The Thai curry sauce was so salty it was inedible! When our waitress asked how was everything I brought that to her attention and all she says was "it does have a bite to them" NO they're too salty not too spicy..... smh. A friend and I had lunch here for the first time and our waitress was super helpful and patient with us while was looked through the menu. Our waitress was more than happy to answer any questions we had and even made recommendations. I've never tried fried pickles before but my friend said it's amazing and I had to try it.. The fried pickles were absolutely delicious! Crunchy on the outside and semi-firm on the inside.. not mushy. The flavor was nice, it had a dill pickle flavor but not too sour. We both had the All-American Cheeseburger and a side salad for our main entree and it was delicious! There were two smash Pattie's on a challah bun with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and grilled onions (the onions were added). Buffalo Wild Wings is located inside of the Windward Mall, although you can access it via an outside entry as well. Service has sadly gone down hill over the last few years. The hostesses pay no mind to anyone waiting for a table and you usually need to grab their attention and ask for a table. The food is subpar and the meal sizes have definitely downsized recently as well while the prices have increased. The kids chicken tenders come with two tenders that can fit in the palm of your hand and a handful of fries so if your kids are hungry, I suggest ordering an adult sized chicken tenders. Unfortunately this time, and many times before, our food doesn't come out on time or together. My children polished off their meals before mine was ever served, 20 minutes after theirs. The service is pretty disappointing and I don't think we'll be back again. read more

I like the open floor plan and it's pretty big here. I like their menu but I was disappointed with my fried chicken sandwich. It was a tough piece of meat and not juicy at all. Fries that came out were also cold and soggy. I did not care for it so I won't be ordering that anymore. There's not much to say that hasn't already been said. My friend and i used to go once a week after work but hasn't gone in a couple of weeks. Yesterday spur of the moment we decided mmm let's go get some wings. They do have the lunch special which we love 10 traditional wings with fries and a drink for 14 bucks. Can't go wrong we each get two different flavors and swap to sample eachothers wings. We arrived around 1145-12ish am yesterday the place wasn't too busy maybe around 6 other people 2 at the bar and 4 at tables. None the less we seat ourselves because at this point we pretty much know we will be there forever if we don't. We sat by the bar since we could just order from the bartender.. she was nice and friendly but it took her a bit to hand us the menus she did grab us drinks right away though. After ordering from her it did take around 20-25 mins to get our food.. we don't care as long as it's hot when it comes out. The fries weren't really hot nor was the wings.. well not in that way since we got the new knockout sauce and lemme say it was one of the hottest sauces we've had. My friend could only finish 2 of his so I traded him for my less spicy jammin Jalapeno and took his wings. We were checked on maybe 2 times which to me isn't alot because we were there a while, the bartender was pretty busy cleaning the bar but at some points she'd disappear for like 5 mins. Overall the place is clean the food is ok.. nothing spectacular the service is really really hit or miss. We'll probably go back mainly because my friend loves to grab a drink from here but hopefully service will be better. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings has definitely stepped it up since they opened. It used to be hit or miss with the service and quality of food, hopefully they have their rhythm now. First, it's definitely a great sports bar to see football, MMC or any of your favorite sports. Every where you sit , you are looking at a TV! They do get packed, so go early, and be nice to your server, they're dealing with alot on those days. Definitely, download the BWW app, you can build up points for free food and specials. I like the fact that they are always having some kind of special,especially with. the economy and just living in Hawaii is expensive. On Tuesdays and Thursdays are BOGO days between traditional and boneless wing if you order them to "take it to go", they don't mind if you break it out and it eat it there! They also have Happy hour M-F from 3-5pm, which us pretty good if you want appetizers , a beer or strawberry margarita with your "to go" wings. $3 chips & salsa,$6 mozzarella sticks and pretzel bites, $4 beers and $6 Margaritas. They also added all you can eat Wings for $19.95 for the hungry boys. My Hubby loves their Smash burger and they just added around 3-4 more different smash burgers on their menus. They range from $17.49-$19, comes with fries, and so worth it. Also ,if you sit in the bar section, or bar itself, service is a bit quicker, depending on how busy they are. It does start to pick up around 5pm. If you ever get Syriah as your server, she is awesome and a hoot! Definitely DL their app, you won't regret it! read more

Shout out to Manager Chad! Totally saved the fantasy football draft this year. A lot of my fiancées boys don't drink so they don't do the "draft party" at BWW, but they ordered a draft board online and because we live in hawaii the shipping was delayed. When he called to see if he could get a draft board Manager Chad was willing to let us have a board! When we went to pick up the board we decided to have lunch. And we were both simply impressed. The pick 6 special with the smash burgers were so delicious and light. Everything you could want in a burger. Absolutely delicious! Also their new sampler appetizer was fantastic. Being able to completely customize it was perfect. We were able to have our favorite mozzarella sticks. And try new apps, the cauliflower. We even got to customize the sauces. The BDubs sauce is amazing if you haven't tried it take this as your sign. She was nice to let us know of their lunch specials. 10 boneless wings, fries and a drink for $14.00. Not bad, so my daughter ordered that with garlic parmesan wings and buffalo wings and her drink was a Mountain Dew. I wasn't hungry so I didn't order anything. Takeout lunch from Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii... Buffalo Wild Wings recently opened at Windward Mall and I was curious. I had heard that there was a Tuesday Special... Buy one, Get one FREE Traditional Wings! Hmmm... I knew that I couldn't eat that much chicken at one time by myself, so, I waited for an opportune time to share some wings with my family... My sister is home from Colorado. Our baby sister was doing work from home. Our niece is participating in online classes. Our brother-in-law had the day off. Our mom is stuck at home... lol... So - for a total of 6 people, I calculated ten different flavors of wings. They come 6 wings in a box, so, each of us could ultimately get 10 wings each, right? Well... I parked for free at the Macy's side of Windward Mall, kind of across from Zippy's in Kaneohe. It was a relief to enter the quiet, cool restaurant with dimmed lights. The air conditioning was so refreshing and the decor was entertaining! I liked looking at the sports memorabilia and photos of athletes! The manager, Marcus, helped me so much! Instead of getting 10 flavors of 6 wings, I got 4 orders of 15 wings and saved about $14! They were able to divide up the 60 wings into ten labeled boxes: Dry rub Salt and Vinegar Sweet BBQ Teriyaki Lemon Pepper Mild Garlic Parmesan Pizza Smokey Adobo Honey BBQ Medium This order came with carrots, celery sticks, ranch dressing, and blue cheese dressing! Everything was tasty, visually appealing, and fun to eat! We really enjoyed comparing opinions - such as: "Lemon Pepper is really lemony!" "Medium is really hot!" The niece really liked the Garlic Parmesan and the Pizza flavors. I couldn't handle the spicy kick! I gave it another try since my mouth was so numb already! Haha! I could only enjoy the first 4 milder flavors! Anyway, we all had fun with this foodie adventure! Thanks to Marcus, the manager, and BWW for a wonderful experience! P.S. Our visit to the Buffalo Wild Wings at the Windward Mall was very disappointing. The wings were dry, and they were very understaffed, which resulted in very long wait times. We waited for our food, waited for the check, waited to pay. In addition, the bill came without the advertised discount which means more waiting to get the tab corrected. 23SEP2022@ 0715 One of the most horrible BWW experiences to date! Everything started off right with the check in and seating. I was greeted by a new server by the name of Leesa. She took my order and everything was good. I waited for 25 Minutes and decided to flag a waitress down. (Mind you tonight was a rather slow night seeing there were zero games on). I asked waitress Carly if she could track down our order seeing Leesa went missing. 10 minutes later my order started to arrive. First the burger, then the wings 5 minutes behind. I had to request napkins and utensils after waiting another 7 minutes. Burger was rather tasty along with the wings. The wings supposed to have came with Blue cheese but not biggie. Quarter of the way in, I realize I still haven't received my 1 beer. I flagged down Carly again and 10 minutes later my beer arrived. Prior to the beer arriving, Carly dropped a whole drink (see picture). Through out my entire meal no one came to check on me one time. Carly made it back to the table just to pick up the glass cup she dropped. What's weird was, no one decided to pick up the lemon and ice left from the spilled drink. Anyway, no my moneys not my show. 45 minutes later, server Leesa appeared just to check if I was ready to check out. This experience was so bad that I will admit, NO TIP WAS LEFT. Decided to enjoy the free air conditioning at Windward Mall on a Sunday morning. At 11am decided to have lunch at Big City Diner but unfortunately it was crowded so luckily for Buffalo Wild Wings . It's been awhile since I experienced Buffalo Wild Wings . I originally went to their first location in the Discovery Bay (Waikiki) way back and experience bad service. Moving forward about 2 years ago bad service again at their Pearl Highlands location with my friend. After that I decided not to go to another Buffalo Wild Wings. Well I decided to give them another shot plus they just opened @11am so I was the first customer. Our host sat us down and our waiter was very nice and we ordered. My wife and I shared a All American cheeseburger w/potato tots and a side of 6 pieces of their Buffalo dry rub chicken wings. We was the first customer in their and we had to wait for our food about 20mins. I was wondering is it going to be another epic fail. Our food finally came out and their cheeseburgers was actually pretty good very juicy with all the fixings. Their Buffalo wings was nice and crispy with a ranch dipping sauce . The Buffalo dry rub was a little spicy but it was ok. Our waiter Ian was very nice and always checked up on us so he made the difference in the customer service I experience before .
