The restaurant has been here for many years. When I told my adult daughter about the place closing, she told me stories of her many visits there in the past (over ten years ago) - with school chums, with our son, and with a date - the place was very popular. I heard the other day that it is closing permanently, and had that confirmed yesterday by an employee. What's particularly disappointing to me is that I went with my daughter for one final memory-lane online order pickup yesterday, after my less than positive experiences in the past - and everything was great. The online ordering process was easy. We went to pick up the food and were warmly greeted as we entered. Someone asked me my name and immediately went to the kitchen to see to my order. While waiting, another person came over to make sure we were being taken care of. The order was ready four minutes later (ahead of time!), was packed properly and we were handed the order with a smile. What's difference from past experiences!! I felt welcomed! Looking in the restaurant, about 6-8 tables were occupied. Maybe a quarter of the house. Got home and the order was correct. And the chicken was hot, plump and flavorful. No complaints. Oh, B-dubs. I should've taken a pic of the grilled cheese I got but didn't order-it was 2 slices of bread with slightly melted cheese and cold. I ordered grilled nuggets with a juice box from the kids meal and it came with just the gross "grilled" cheese, no juice or grilled nuggets. Staff aren't kind/welcoming/helpful at all. I had to ask if they could get the door for me while they were standing there talking to each other when I was walking out with my stroller and wrong order. And they all look annoyed I even asked for help, with no ramp there at all. 2 good Samaritan's helped me before the staff did. We usually sit at the bar, and really like their beer specials they have monthly for $3 or $5 tall glass of cold beer. The food to really only get here are their chicken wings - original hot buffalo wing sauce. Can't go wrong. We ordered the nachos and was a total miss. There was literally just chips, tiny lines of sour cream, and barely noticeable cheese sauce. Skip that one. I noticied more people sitting in the dining room, then the bar. Maybe next time, will dine in there, as the last few times here sitting at the bar, its been a struggle finding the bartender (just one working the floor and he was also providing drinks to wait staff) and waiting for the wings does take some time. Decided to get some wings on UberEats due to COVID, and I was extremely disappointed. I usually get lemon pepper and Buffalo medium wings. It's always a hit or miss since they are sometimes dry or don't have enough sauce/seasoning. As I was eating I noticed something off with my wings. I took a closer look and found nearly 10 feathers in my wings. One or so wouldn't be a huge issue. But the amount of feathers in the wings made me lose my appetite and grossed me out. We really love BWW specials on Tuesday nights. We use to regularly get their wings, like clock work on Tuesday nights. The demand from their adoring public was great, the wait if you didn't order them online was long, so we learn to either call them on the phone or order them online. It's been a while and we missed them, so we order them this past Tuesday. Even though we placed an order prior to our arrival them weren't ready when we got them, they advised us it would probably be 15 minutes more. We were alright on waiting a little. When we got home and inspected the wings, flavors we normally ordered had practically no sauce on them, they were bone dry. It made for a disappointing wings night at home. We still love BWW but they should work on expediting their orders in a timely fashion and quality control on their products. We hope they do better next time. read more

I had high hopes of treating my girlfriend to a fun dinner at this Buffalo Wild Wings. I was not expecting to be let down. And let down so hard. Upon entering, we see a sign saying please seat yourself instead of being greeted by a host. After a quick glance around the nearly empty restaurant, we began making our way to a nice looking booth. However, on the way there we passed what looked to be an old Coke spilled on a table, and crusty looking French fries sprawled on the floor. It was clear the staff does not pay attention to cleanliness Upon sitting down, we scanned the menus on our phones and realized we had the option to place our order online. Convenient, we thought. Then our waiter, let's call him Wyatt, came over with menus and told us he would take our order. We looked at each other in confusion as there was no clear direction as to how our order would be taken. Now onto the food--what is the nicest way to say it was extremely subpar? We ordered boneless and bone in wings. They looked like they just came out of the dishwasher. So dry. The boneless wings lost all crisp. Tots were actually edible. So good job there. My girlfriend loves carrots. All she wanted were some fresh and crisp bdubs carrots. We placed two orders and received zero. We knew with the limited service we were experiencing that it wasn't worth it at all to place an order halfway through the night. Not to mention there was a guy standing around with a lightsaber looking device for our entire time there. We finally worked up the courage to ask him what he was doing with this odd looking device to which he responded that it was a flashlight and he was inspecting a leak. He was shining this light for at least an hour, just looking up at the ceiling. When we finally left this establishment, we saw a HUGE puddle on the ground right by the entrance that we had to hop over to get out. On Veteran's Day, your business, Buffalo Wild Wings, advertised an offer to veterans that included of 10 boneless wings and fries. I entered one of your locations in Rockville Town Center, Maryland : 33 Maryland Ave, Rockville, Md 20850. When I entered the establishment, there was no one at the counter and they had a sign out that said to seat yourself. I sat on the far right side by the windows facing the Rockville Town Center Court. I sat down enjoying the atmosphere and excited to be able to enjoy my Monday afternoon at this establishment. I was sitting for 15 minutes before a tall gentleman with locs in his hair asked had I been helped. I said no, and a minute later a different young man with braids that had pink tips came to take my order.  I let him know that I was a veteran and would like to get the advertised meal. I asked if I could get the bone in wings and he said no, that they were serving boneless wings only for the free meal. I said ok, he asked what flavors of dipping sauce would I like and I asked for honey mustard. He asked would I like another sauce? I responded with I can get another and he said yes, the mango habenero is good. I said nah, I do not want anything hot. I asked for the Parmesan garlic. He brought me a drink a minute after taking my order. All of those took place around 2:20pm. At this time, the restaurant was not crowded, there were a couple of patrons at the bar. There was a full table on my left side with six people. There was a couple seated one booth behind me. There was also a table of four seated diagonally from the couple behind me in front of the bar area. I was looking at social media on my phone but would occasionally lift my head up and scan the room. I noticed there was an older lady towards the front who was alone just as I was. I don't recall her being there before me but she was getting served during this particular time that I scanned the room. I noticed a gentleman siting at a table by himself. He was looking around like I was wondering where was the staff. He sat around for awhile, and eventually left.  There was a couple that was sitting in a booth to the left side of the older lady. There was a couple with a baby girl that was sitting in the middle area and they were sitting for a while no one came to greet them. I scanned the room and the group of four left. The only thing sitting at the table were cups, no plates. But I noticed there was a couple at a table beside (group of 4) table and the man was eating a burger.  The couple was not there when I came in but they were eating.  Went back to my phone trying not to think something was up.  Looked up again, the couple with the baby packed up and left. The couple in the booth beside the older lady left.  I saw an another couple come in at first it looked like they were going to sit at the booths in the front diagonally across from the restrooms. But they changed their minds and came and sat at the table beside the booth I was sitting. While they were standing in the front I noticed a gentleman walking to the front and then he came back to the bar area. At this time I noticed there was two ladies sitting behind me. There was a group of four men sitting at a table in the middle. There was two men sitting a table away from the ladies in the booth behind me. And I noticed two men sitting at the high table in the bar area. There were also two women sitting at the booth leading out of the restaurant. The husband from the couple that was sitting at the table beside me went to the front I guess to ask for assistance. The young man who took my order came out and took their order. This was around 3:00pm. When he finished with them I waved at him and he came over to my booth. I asked if he could tell me the status of my order. He took another order from me and asked if I would like another drink. He apologized thanked me for being patient. He said that all the orders were for vets. I was confused by that statement because when I got there, it was only a handful of patrons. He left and I went back to scrolling on my phone. I looked up and now it's 3:15pm. The two guys from the table to the back left side of me got up and went to the booth where the two young women were. One of the young women got her food. At this point, I become perturbed. The table of (4) men looked like they were going to leave and asked the server something and they received some drinks. Finally, I decided to leave at 4:00pm, I left and turned back around to come and talk to the manager. When I came back in the young ladies were leaving and both had their food. I went back in and waited around until I could talk to the manager. At this time the kitchen looked busy, (for paying) customers who were coming to pick up food. One of the worst restaurants I have ever gone to. I wasn't expecting anything special, just wanted some wings, I had no expectations since I've had buffalo wild wings and it isn't anything to write home about. However, my experience was so bad, I had to write a review. I went to this location a few years ago pre covid and it was always packed, energy was great, and the food would come out just fine. But, when I went a few weeks ago, the restaurant was a disaster. The first thing you saw when you walked in was a leak in the ceiling, there was brown water pouring into a giant bucket, however, the water was splashing out onto the floor. Me and my friend were unfortunately splashed by the water (I hope it was water...) . The restaurant was completely empty, but my 10 wings took 30-40 minutes to come out. There was a group of about 4-5 waiters who just stood around talking and laughing for almost the entire evening. There was only ONE waiter, who was making drinks, tending to every table, and spending a lot of time in the kitchen, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the only chef. He was the only one doing anything, and I truly hope he is compensated fairly, or finds a job that treats him better. Me and my friend ended off our dinner with a slice of chocolate cake. Something that you would think would only take 5 minutes MAX to bring out, especially since I'm sure its not being made at the restaurant, and they just buy it from somewhere. The chocolate cake took 20-25 minutes to come out. We spent 3 hours at this location waiting for a total of 25 wings, two fries, and one slice of cake between me and my friend. Not to mention the food is COMPLETELY overpriced. I usually go out to dinner at much nicer places, but me and my friend were craving wings. There is no reason that 10 terribly tasting wings might I add should come out to the price that it came out to. Overall, very disappointed. In Covid times, where many of us are trying to be careful, you would hope that your experience picking up food would be a good one since there is no dine-in to rate a restaurant on everything else. I arranged for pick up by placing an online order. When I arrived, there were only three spaces directly in front of the restaurant for 15 minute parking. There were not that many cars on a typical downtown weekend evening so I did find a spot right away. It would have been nice if the front doors were propped open so you wouldn't have to touch the handle. But as soon as you walked in, there was a dispenser for hand sanitizer. Unfortunately, it requires touching the dispenser. There are some dispensers that are motion activated. But still, nice to see it. The dining room was closed off. There was one person working the register who was standing behind a complete sheet of plastic hobbled together by plexiglass and other plastics taped or stapled together. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do to makeshift some protection. The person at the register did not wear his mask properly. The mask only covered his mouth. People need to wear a mask correctly. What's the use if it doesn't protect you or the customers? Once I got dinner home, I am pleased to say that the order was correct. I'm sure you hate bringing take out home and find that they missed something. I am also pleased to say that the fries were decent and not soggy. I absolutely hate soggy fries which is why I seldom order them as take out but the fries were included in the Father's Day special order of wings. What disappointed me most about the order was that my traditional wings were plain dry and tough. I was literally tried of chewing that I only ate 7 of my 20 pieces of chicken. That is the least that I have ever eaten of wings in one sitting. Hence, the one star. Located in the heart of Rockville Town Center, it's a convenient location for those craving wings but don't want to spend a lot of money. It's a standard store location but service is actually quite nice here. There's a mix of booths, tables and a small bar area for those interested in watching sports. I really only come here on Tuesday nights for their wing discount (buy one get one free). So generally, I try to go with a lot of friends and we order in bulk and just split the bill. Their house made drinks don't taste that great in my opinion. I believe I ordered the strawberry lemonade and it's incredibly heavy on the sugar so it tasted very sweet. I'm writing to inform you and to bring to your attention the awful experience that me and my family had at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Rockville, Maryland on Sunday, January 14, 2024 We initially placed a phone-in order for "to-go" because our two year old was asleep in the car but as soon as we arrived at your establishment he woke up. We arrived at the restaurant within 5 minutes of placing our order and the employee said it would take about 20-25 minutes to prepare the food. So we decided to wait in the dining area and we asked a waitress if we could change our order from take-out to dine-in since the food was still being prepared. The dining area was self-seating and there were both tables and booths available. We decided to have a seat and when the waitress returned to our table she said the manager said it was not possible to change our meal from take-out to dine-in although our meal was still being prepared and there was ample seating available. We had intended to stay, enjoy our meal, order drinks and watch the game. When we received our food, I noticed that my order was incorrect but my two year old begin to get fussy because he was hungry so at that time we did not bring it to the managers attention, we just wanted to eat and order drinks. As we were waiting for the server to come and take our drink order that's when the manager came over to our table, her name was Kaylee Carrillo. Kaylee was rude, she said we could not dine-in and she prematurely refused our service because she didn't know we wanted to order drinks and were waiting for our server. I was trying to communicate this to her but she was speaking over me and putting her hands in my face while standing over me. As my two year old begin to cry and become upset seeing his mother being yelled at. I then explained to Kaylee that my order was wrong and I showed her our receipt and the food we had received. She did not apologize, acknowledge that it was incorrect, offer a refund or correct the order. Then Bryan Nance came over, as he over heard our conversation and said since we touched the food, he could not issue us a refund. Although he did acknowledge that the order we received was incorrect. He still refused to issue us a refund and told us to contact Stephanie Ramirez, the General Manager, if we wanted a refund. Please note, we had not touched that portion of our meal as it was incorrect and I was highly disappointed and dissatisfied. Although most restaurants and fine dining establishments know, you can't take back or resale food that has already been given to a customer (even McDonald's employees know this). Instead of being pleasant and professional both Kaylee and Bryan asked us to leave; instead of replacing the incorrect items or issuing a refund. As I gathered my belongings to leave, I was confronted by another employee, who escalated the situation even further. In front of both managers (Kaylee and Bryan) this employee proceeded to put both middle finger up in the air and laugh at me in front of my two year old son and every customer in the restaurant witnessing this interaction. My response was to take out my phone and begin recording to document this horrendous experience. I was confused, shocked, and in total disbelief, what I was experiencing and what the other customers were witnessing. Both managers (both Kaylee and Bryan) also condoned and celebrated the employee's behavior. The employee said several times that she didn't care as she laughed and flicked me off, more than once. I have video footage documenting this entire experience. As my family and I were leaving the restaurant, the disgruntle employee angrily proceeded to kitchen and had to be restrained by another employee as she looked like she wanted to fight me, as she was yelling threats and insults towards me. I felt threaten, humiliated and afraid for my life. I just wanted to bring this to your attention as this employee is a liability to your store, Buffalo Wild Wings and Inspire Brands. In all of my time, patronizing Buffalo Wild Wings I would have never imagined ever having this horrible experience. Your location is in an affluent area and I would hope your employees and managers alike would treat customers with respect and dignity. read more

I saw the bad reviews and went anyway for NFL Week 1, figured how hard was it to bring us a few wings and beers? Stunningly, they managed to screw this up. Ordered entirely through app, wings and apps came without ranch / dressing, and beers never came. Turns out they were somehow out of all draft beer, at 4pm on NFL week 1, but they were still available on the menu and no one bothered to tell us. Had to remind the server several times to get them taken off our check. It's a great setup for watching sports but it's not worth the terrible service and management. read more

Decided to look past the poor reviews and give this place a try tonight, but unfortunately BWW lived up to the numerous trending negative reviews. BWW earns a star for, well, the wings. We ordered a large and medium with mango habanero, asian zing (my favorite), and honey barbeque, all which were tasty, hot, and a decent size. However, these wings were definitely not worth spending two and a half hours here. We were seated here at 9pm on a Tuesday evening, and the place was still crowded but slowing down. We wait ten minutes for a server- okay thats fair. But then we wait a full hour for our wings. I know that wings can take a while but seriously... they need to find a way to speed things up. When our wings finally came out, we had to wait a while for ranch and even some napkins. We had to wait another 15 minutes just to find our server to get the check at the end of the night. 3/17/21 On January 12, 2013 I found myself sitting in the bar section of Buffalo Wild Wings. The playoff were already on their way and I had no idea who to cheer for. I had started watching football more and more and found myself liking it. On this particular day, I had decided to choose a team I would stick with.  I did not wish to be a  bandwagon jumper. The two teams that were playing were the Denver Broncos and The Baltimore Ravens.  I liked both teams icons/mascots, but in the end, I went with my favorite color purple and the name of my former high school team The Ravens.  Both of these things together made it a no brainers for me.    The restaurant was super busy and getting something to drink while watching the game at this restuarant wasn't easy.  The combination of purple and orange was big.  I found myself getting excited at watching these teams go at it.   If hadn't seen the Baltimore Ravens play in that game, I might have been a Denver Broncos fan wearing a number 18 jersey. Many times before I became a football fan,  I ordered food from this restaurant.   My orders varied, but the service I received from them did not. Granted there were times one's orders seem to take a long time. However,   it is a busy store and I understand that.   I hope this store remains here for decade or longer. Oh, and the year I finally picked an NFL Team, my team the Baltimore Ravens won their first Super Bowl.  How's that for a welcome to the NFL!? Oh, I forgot the most important thing. I was never big on chicken wings so the boneless ones would have to do. For many years everytime I heard the name chicken Wings, it was associated with barbecue sauce which was a no no for me. I am glad my tastes buds have updated. I now prefer boneless chicken wings, but can eat chicken wings with bones as long as there is no sauce on them. I cannot believe I haven't rated B-Dubs already! I've been here a handful of times and had excellent experiences every time. This is the only location I have been to and I am surprised that other Yelpers aren't excited about this place as I am. On my most recent visit, Susana was our waitress. We've had "K" twice, as well. Susana was very kind and attentive. She checked on us frequently and was super sweet. If it were based on the service alone, the review would be five stars. -1 star for the experience with the food ordered. For apps we ordered the Monday special: six boneless wings for $.60/each. I ordered the Chipotle BBQ and boy, for a dry rub, it was HOT! Susana asked whether we wanted celery and carrots with blu cheese or ranch and I was about to say yes, but she said it would be $.60! I did not ask whether this was only on days when they had specials on their wings... I have never been charged for celery and carrots. I was pretty shocked and disappointed. BP had the Jamaican Jerk sauce. I enjoyed my choice, but I did not like the Jerk sauce at all. The ginger used overpowered the wings and that is all we could taste. It was awful and I will not be trying that sauce again. For the entree, I had the Asian Zing Salad and BP had the Buffalitos (I believe that is what they are called) with the corn chips and salsa. I am happy I had my dressing and sauce served on the side. Again, the Asian Zing sauce had an overwhelming amount of ginger. I have ordered this before a few months ago and I am sure that the recipe has changed. Luckily, again, since the sauce was on the side, I did not have to use it. The dressing it did come with (citrus and sesame?) was delightful! It was light yet rich in flavor. I also loved the grilled chicken on the salad and the cute mandarin oranges lining the salad bowl. BP enjoyed his entree as well. He had it with the medium sauce and all the flavors in the meal were perfect. Just thinking about that flavor explosion makes my mouth water. Worse place ever. Customer Service absolutely sucked. We placed our order at 6:15, didn't receive our food until 7:05. Staff standing around talking, Pants hanging off their Ass, playing on their phones. The worse part is hardly anyone was in the Restaurant. We ordered Street Taco's, FF, Grill Chicken Sandwich, Nachos, side salad, fried Pickles. Why did it take so long? Look at these Nachos, and side salad you really gave less than 2 f.... of what you were serving your Customers. Its a true example of I don't care. My Husband told you we wanted hot fries, they tried to take him for stupid and put the same cold fries back in the bag. So disgusted by this place I couldn't even eat my food. Now I remember why we stopped coming here!!! Management if you care about your establishment you'd fire each and every Asshole that worked on Friday October 2nd in Rockville MD. Stopped in for a late lunch -- early happy hour on Tuesday, since i was in the area. Traditional wings were on happy hour along with beer and drinks. It was early so not crowded. I had my pic of TVs in bar area, abd there was plenty of sports and current music in background. I ordered caribbean jerk spice and hot buffalo wings-- extra crispy, which was spot on. I'm a server and I try to be considerate when I see fellow servers struggling but this was not the case. The wait was extremely long, 40+ minutes for two orders of 10 wings and the server didn't bother to come by and apologize or ask for refills or anything. The servers and host were just standing around or waiting at the bar for drinks while every single table around us was dirty. No one could even sit if they wanted to. A manager was no where to be seen the entire time. The tables around me complained about terrible service, long waits and incorrect orders. The food here is pretty bad. Given it's a chain restaurant but other BWWs are not like this. The wings are always over fried, dry and hard. The sauce is often cold. Additionally, they put toppings on your fries without asking and overly salt the fries. And if you get fries you're lucky if you get more than a few. We took our family here and the food was terrible (our app and entrees were cold and looked like they'd been sitting out for awhile) and overpriced (it cost $20 for one order of cauliflower wings); the service was slow; and the dining area was dirty.
