So it's Veteran's Day and bww promotes that Veterans can eat in or take out. Not true.

So it's Veteran's Day and bww promotes that veterans can eat in or take out. When I walked in to the take out line no one came to greet me and I had to walk almost into the kitchen to get someone to talk to. I was informed that it's only for dine in and somehow this location wasn't doing take out for the Veterans special. I was shocked to say the least. I did not have time to dine in since I was on my way to pick up my daughter from school. I have no idea what the difference would be giving it to me to go or if I ate it there. But no worries, Veterans are used to being treated like second class citizens. I have never been to this location, but rest assured, I will never patronize bww ever again. But for any person that is a Veteran or has friends and family members that are or have served, I salute and thank you/them.

The bar side is kinda divey - but the wings are good and they have a nice happy hour. The restaurant side is less divey - with nifty food. Outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy - but an okay place to hang and toast to life.

Decided to get some wings on UberEats due to COVID, and I was extremely disappointed. I usually get lemon pepper and Buffalo medium wings. It's always a hit or miss since they are sometimes dry or don't have enough sauce/seasoning. As I was eating I noticed something off with my wings. I took a closer look and found nearly 10 feathers in my wings. One or so wouldn't be a huge issue. But the amount of feathers in the wings made me lose my appetite and grossed me out. I called the restaurant and they said this is normal. I have never in my life had so many feathers in my wings from a restaurant. Especially for the nearly $20 you pay for them? Absolutely unacceptable. Photo is attached for proof.

absolutely terrible the worst experience I've ever had extremely disappointed in a company that I have been extremely loyal to for a very long time I had to get my own beverages and wasn't even greeted when I walked in

If you go to the quince orchard location you get a free gift card every time because they never get the order right.

They have a bunch of flavors available: we settled on the buffalo and dry lemon pepper wings. We supplemented that with a vodka soda (we're walking). The ambiance was electric with music playing in the background and folks arriving and descending upstairs, where the real action is. The wings arrived and they were cooked perfectly: hot, crispy, fresh, with the right amount of seasonings. So glad we decided to drop in. Note: This is an LGBTQ friendly environment. After enjoying the wings, we decided to take a peek upstairs as the constant traffic going up there intrigued us. As we made our way in this space, there was a large dance floor with bar table and chairs around the perimeter and a bar at the front. There was also an outdoor area where you could overlook the street and enjoy your drink or food. The music was full blast and enjoyable to listen to. All in all, go for the wings you won't be disappointed, but stay for the vibes if that's your thing. I will be back for those wings AND that vibe!

High energy, packed, and pure joy. This is the kind of space where strangers turn into friends in minutes. The music was upbeat, the crowd was diverse and expressive, and everyone just seemed genuinely happy to be there. I met some amazing people and had those spontaneous conversations that make a trip unforgettable. It's lively without feeling overwhelming; just celebration, laughter, and good vibes flowing through the room. If you're in DC and want a space that feels inclusive, energetic, and unapologetically fun, Nellie's delivers. Two different vibes in one night; both beautiful in their own way.

Had a friendly greeting from Cat, who informed me that they didn't have any tables available at that time since it was trivia night and a popular time to be there, but one would probably be opening up soon. Thankfully I scored two spots at the bar and told her I'd take that table when it was available. So I bellied up to the bar and admitted to the bartender, Amir, that I'm not great at beer. He was gracious and had some recommendations and let me taste a few options. I landed on the La Chouffe Belgian blond ale. Tasty! And I loved the little gnome on the glass, the brand's adorable mascot. Friend joined, ordered a beer and we were quickly escorted to our table to order dinner. They opted for the classic house mussels, served with fries and several slices of bread for sopping up those tasty juices at the bottom of the mussel pot. I got the cheeseburger and subbed onion rings for the regular fries. Rings were great(!) but the burger was pretty dry and mediocre. We also shared some mozzarella sticks and they were tasty. Lastly, we decided to participate in the evening's trivia festivities. We didn't expect to do well, especially since we were the only 2-person team. Turns out we ended up getting 2nd place. Fun!

Food is OK quality and prices are reasonable if not inexpensive on their specials, like the steak and ribs for only $25. Good flavor and cooked ok but a nice combo for the price. Service is OK with some wait staff being more efficient than others. There were some who knew their customers by name and took time out to talk with them but that slowed down service a little for the rest of us. Nothing too bad but you might wait a bit for refills or something you need after your food or drinks arrive. We had cool fries and it took a bit for the staff to come back to our table to check in the dining room. Similar response time for wait staff outside when we needed condiments that were ordered but didn't come out with our entrees. Cigar menu is an ok selection where there is something for everyone; however, our experience was the place ran out of the first four cigars we selected and each time the wait staff had to come back to our table to tell us they were out of that cigar. Wait staff didn't know what cigars were in stock and which they were out of. Overall, very good experience for both inside the dining area and outside where you can smoke. Recommend The Bungalow Lakehouse as it is a good experience and has a variety of experience options.

The choices were: outside, the sports bar, or the dining room. We chose the dining room. A large group of people was sitting at a table. We were given a booth by the window and right by the server's station. Looking over the menu at home, we both decided that we would get a bacon cheeseburger. The entrees seemed, to us, to be too filling. The bacon cheeseburger consists of: "100% angus burger, apple-wood smoked bacon, vermont white cheddar, canadian cheddar, sliced tomato, and crispy leaf lettuce". We both ordered it cooked medium. The dish comes with fries. To drink, I had ginger ale while my husband had a Heineken 00. Our server was friendly and efficient. He made a mistake, bringing my husband a Coke instead of the beer. My husband corrected him. He apologized and retrieved the correct drink. The burger was dry and overcooked. It was more on the medium well side. In one way, I didn't mind that as I didn't end up with greasy hands or a burger that falls apart. The bacon and the cheese provided some relief from the dryness. The fries came out hot, which we appreciated. All in all, it was an OK experience; we would consider going again sometime.
