First time was too packed, but this second time we got seated and took about 10 minutes till the server asked for our drinks. After that the server continued checking on us so that balanced out. I have been a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings since the first one opened in West University about 20 years ago maybe longer I can't even remember. This was back in the day when they had 50 Cent legs on Wednesdays and I think $.25 wings on Tuesdays. I will forever be a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings. Food: like I said, above in my opinion the wings from Buffalo wild wings are up there as far as my favorite Wings, bottom line. My G2 is the medium sauce, which is always top-notch. I like the food at these locations, but the service here seems to be terrible. The waitress got our drink prefers and then disappeared. She came back with drinks, asked about our food, and while answering a question about a burger, disappeared again and never gave us any straws. Eventually she showed up again and at this point needed refills because she had been gone so long. She took our food order and took off again. While waiting a good 20 minutes or more we spotted her at the bar just hanging out with the bar tender for some reason. We were able to flag down another waitress who got her back to her tables but apparently our food wasn't ready so we waiting about another 20-30 minutes before the manager eventually showed up with our food. The food was warm and seemed like it had been sitting for a while. This place just really sucked... I will not be returning here. Ordered about 30 bone-in wings to go all the same flavor (hot). I get home and I see that the wings are extremely small and overcooked, almost burnt. Also the wings looked completely sauced, they were completely red, but they were not wet at all, in fact they were dry. Those of us in the Southwest have never heard of it, and it doesn't sound very appetizing. I loved to watch the football games on Sunday afternoons on their big screens, and this probably distracted me from the second rate bar food they served. I usually order the wings when I visit, but over the years they have eliminated all the sauces I like. They had a Southwest Sauce (now they only have a Southwest spice) which met its demise years ago, and a few other long forgotten flavors with names that escape me now. I've tried many of their current sauces, but I just don't like any of them. So today I ordered a burger. Big mistake. My hamburger tasted as if it had been cooked to well done, and then left on the grill for another 20 minutes. And then placed in the warming window since early this morning. The bacon was limp. The toasted bun was hard as a rock. And my fries were wilted and almost tasteless. I ate lunch with 4 other people, and although none of them wanted to insult my choice of restaurants by complaining about the food, I clearly noticed that they all picked at their meals and politely declined doggy bags. It was obvious they felt the same as I did about our lunch. If you want to go watch a game and have a drink, I think Buffalo Wild Wings will meet your needs. Upon my arrival at bww I figured it would be busy because of the boneless Thursday deal. Although proven wrong my gf and I were seated quickly and promptly. Once sat down we discussed over the menu, 15 minutes have passed there was no waiter or waitress to help or start us off with a drink. Numerous wait staff were passing by our table and assisting other tables and even tables that came in after us. Observing the surroundings Most of the wait staff was surrounded around the register talking or up in the front chatting waiting for more customers to show up. I'm sure we probably would have waited longer, but I approached the manager myself and asked for assistance, which he professionally did right away. Make 5 lunch purchases of $5 or more and you save $5 on your sixth visit. Monday is double punch day so you can earn that savings twice as fast. Placed an order for pickup and when I went to pick it up, the young girls working the register were sitting on the benches and on their phones. I went here recently with my nurses. DELICIOUS food and awesome service. Ask for Aubrey...she's adorable, professional and attentive. I recommend the garlic parm, mango BBQ and traditional hot.
